What do you like best about OhMD?

I like that it is HIPAA compliant. I do not have to worry about not being able to say certain things Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OhMD?

I dislike that I can't just simply change a provider and that I have to fully delete a client and put them back in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the features so clear out "resolved conversations" with the toggle and checkmark. the checkmark labels the message as resolved, and the toggle hides them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OhMD?

Honestly the only downfall is that clients message us after hours. It would be nice is there was an auto response to allow patients to know we have received their messsage and will be with them the following business day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Anna Elston of OhMD

Thank you so much for leaving us a review! We do actually have a feature that allows you to automate an after-hours message when clients text in. Go to Organization > Settings > Availability to find and set your office hours. You can enable that and set a custom message that will automatically send to clients if they text in during your away hours. Feel free to reach back to OhMD Support if you have additional questions about this!

Wish it would allow video clips! Video clips would be especially helpful in assessing the respiratory effort of our youngest patients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great alternative to patient phone calls"
5/5
What do you like best about OhMD?

The UI is clean, pretty straightforward for patients to text an office instead of calling in. I think patients prefer texting rather than getting frustrated trying to get ahold of someone by calling and being placed on hold or playing phone tag with back and forth voicemails. What do you dislike about OhMD?

The user management is not that great. The Gmail approach is not user-friendly and often confuses staff if they need access to multiple offices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about OhMD?

I like the templates. It makes it much easier to have those available when sending texts to multiple patients. I feel like I am less likely to make a mistake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OhMD?

I feel as though there could be many more templates for more specific scenarios. We use the same template for multiple uses and have to change the details as we go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everyone prefers to text! Even patients."

What do you like best about OhMD?

Using a secure texting platform--OhMD--at the doctor's office allows us to be more responsive and more efficient in 1:1 patient correspondence, as well as mass communication. Everything from scheduling an appointment to doctors' follow-up, to broad promotions or notifications, became smoother and faster. Our implementation was super easy and we immediately got quicker with our regular outreach efforts by using both broadcast and individual text communication where appropriate. Adding this channel and removing the barriers that come with voice calls, like reaching voicemail only or delays connecting with patients during the workday or off-times made our processes better and reduced friction for patients, too. It seems that nearly everyone prefers to text versus call. Especially as they recognize they are texting with a real person they know from the office. It makes patients more comfortable to know that they can easily get in touch via text. Highly recommend OhMD for the medical practice's patient communications. "An AMAZING service for both healthcare staff and patients!!!"
5/5
What do you like best about OhMD?

OhMD truly makes patient care so much more efficient. You can quickly text a patient and give them results, schedule appointments, complete forms, and so much more. Not only does it make it quicker for patients to receive health information, but also makes it easier for healthcare employees to give information—no more phone tag or waiting games. What do you dislike about OhMD?

Ohmd can be a little intimidating to use. There are a lot of different settings and filters you can use; you just have to find the ones that work for you/your dept. It is simple and easy to use once you learn the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about OhMD?

I like the fast response that we get back from the patients when we send out a text. It is also great knowing that the patients are getting a fast response from us. All the patients that I have spoken with appreciate that we can contact them in a timely manner. It has been a great addition to our workflow, and I love having a reliable form of communication between our office and the patient. Thanks!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't found anything that I dislike about this product. It is so easy to use, and I love it. I wouldn't change anything and would just keep it the way it is. Thank you for making such a wonderful product for offices to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Communication Service!"
5/5
What do you like best about OhMD?

OhMD makes communicating with patients so much faster than a phone call while providing a communication channel that is more familiar and more easily navigated than a typical office phone tree. My office staff can communicate patient requests and delegate actions all from within the OhMD platform while making it easy for supervisors to track the status of incoming patient inquiries. Adding patients to be able to send messages is quick and easy, and the browser notifications/alerts when a new message is received keep staff attentive and responsive to all incoming requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OhMD?

There are very few downsides, if anything, with OhMD. When a supervisor or traveling employee works out of multiple offices, these individuals are required to log in to a separate OhMD account for each office, as opposed to switching to different locations through the service. Although this may be a bit of a hassle, it keeps patient inquires at each office separated and easier to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
