What do you like best about Oh Dear?

Oh Dear allows for easy site monitoring, whether it is uptime, performance (response times), scheduled tasks (are they actually running, and on time?) or more advanced application monitoring.

Integration with multiple notification channels (like Telegram, for instance) is great.

Super easy to implement, and very reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

I am using Oh Dear for quite some time. I don't see any downside. It does exactly what it promises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mattias Geniar of Oh Dear

Thanks Antonio for the kind words and the trust in Oh Dear!

"Brilliant site + error monitoring"
4/5
What do you like best about Oh Dear?

I love being able to add a URL and have it pull through uptime, performance, certificate checks etc. The integration into Laravel + health monitoring is great. I don't use the status pages much, but I like knowing it's there for if a client asks.

The downtime alerts have become invaluable, alerting me to an issue before a client spots it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

The pricing model isn't the best for me, I'm a freelancer and work with a bunch of different clients, however often sporadically. I'd like to be able to add more sites, however I don't have the budget that comes with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mattias Geniar of Oh Dear

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your kind words and feedback!

We'll look into the pricing models.

Warm regards,

Mattias

"Fairly and confidently monitoring all our critical systems"
5/5
What do you like best about Oh Dear?

Easy to use. There are no too fancy features but the base ones are perfectly covered. One of the most usefull feature for us is the application health monitoring, as we developped and used in all our project an open source Java library to expose different health keys to OhDear. Also we can get clean public monitoring page, available to our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

They should publish on their site the Java library we developped (ohdear-healthchecks) as it could help more people :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mattias Geniar of Oh Dear

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your kind words and feedback!

We'll check into the Java library.

Mattias

What do you like best about Oh Dear?

I enjoy the one stop shop for monitoring. Downtime alerts, dips in performance and those reminders for SSL certificates renewals. With multiple people being able to change DNS records it's good to be able to see those changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

I find navigating around troublesome sometimes. Not that it's slow or awful. I just find it's hard to find things sometimes on a cognitive load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mattias Geniar of Oh Dear

Thanks Ashleigh for the honest and kind words.

We'll look into the navigation.

Warm regards,

Mattias

"We really like it!"

What do you like best about Oh Dear?

It was really easy to set up, all our services are registered in OhDear and what we did is installed a lot of notification channels. So if there is anything interesting, we are really getting notified. Also, cron jobs are really important for us and OhDear gives us a really flexible way of setting up and monitoring all jobs execution. UI is really good. Public monitoring page is available, although we are not using it but is perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

Nothing, there was not a single thing we wanted to do that we could not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Our all-in website monitoring toolbox"

What do you like best about Oh Dear?

The pricing is fair, the UX is good, it is easy to integrate yet has a great number of features. We're using it every day. It is trivial to implement, and the customer support is decent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

A lower-level entry package for under 5 sites would be great. Some features are slightly hidden. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mattias Geniar of Oh Dear

Thanks Daniel!

We'll look into the pricing packages.

"Great product, helps us to be one step ahead constantly"
5/5
What do you like best about Oh Dear?

The ease of use and how quick the notifications come through. Getting setup was extremely quick and when we have needed any support, the team have always been happy to help.

We have every feature of Oh Dear near enough enabled too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oh Dear?

I think some reports such as the broken links needs to have a bit more logging within them. We've been led down a rabbit hole before with this but I'm really clutching at straws there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mattias Geniar of Oh Dear

Thanks for your honest feedback!

Warm regards,

Mattias
