There’s even an easier modeless configuration of background size and position for snippets. “Cover” and “Repeat Pattern” options moved to the options menu, and the background position is now chosen by clicking on the corresponding menu option. You can create basic animations between sections, easily integrate pre-designed blocks into the site, and add code as needed, which allows you to design an impressive website without having to code. Initially, the platform asks for your branding preferences, your colors, and the type of website you want, and it generates some really interesting ideas. I found the ability to add custom code very rewarding for certain animations or section layouts, it helps to go beyond the limits of the site building interface. Additionally, Odoo offers an alternative to Google Analytics that I find easier to understand. The initial setup went very well, although I had an issue obtaining the free app, the support quickly resolved my problem. **What do you dislike about Odoo Website Builder?** There are very limiting functions. It has happened to me several times to lose my work with Odoo because I didn't save often enough and bugs caused the page to break, so we couldn't do anything anymore, I absolutely had to refresh the page and by refreshing I lost all my work. Also, the concept of a draft is semi.. you have to save your work to not lose it, but when you save it, it automatically publishes on the web, so everyone can see it even though it might not be finished yet. Compared to sites such as Shopify or BigCommerce where they keep the better available themes behind a particular price structure and the more basic themes as a free option. Odoo on the other hand have some fantastic theme templates to begin your website with, with an array of customisation due to the theme blocks avialble. The variety of options for layout, font and colour also give more variety for customisation, providing a platform to create a website unique to you. **What do you dislike about Odoo Website Builder?** When you remove a block such as a picture it feels very difficult to navigate back to what it was originally. This results in having to discard some of your work from time to time and start again, this is likely more down to not saving enough and has taught me to do so. The navigation options for the main menu also feel quite limited. As we have thousands of products we want to sub catergorise as much as possible, however so far with my experience you are unable to have sub scetions within a sub wction within a main menu tab, causing a limited way for users to navigate to something that they particularly want. **What problems is Odoo Website Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Transferring our eCommerce (currently on Shopify) over to our database for our products, finances and inventory (Odoo) to maintain a more free-flowing and efficient service for our company. ### 8.
