## About Retrace
Retrace helps Shopify merchants who have experienced inventory discrepancies, unexplained stock changes, or cancelled orders caused by inaccurate inventory counts. First, Retrace captures Shopify inventory changes for each variant and location. It then builds a ledger of orders, refunds, transfers, manual edits, and app-driven stock changes, then flags when Shopify's count no longer matches the tracked record. Open the variant timeline to see where the mismatch appeared, then correct the count in one click.
