Octri (octri.dev) is a platform for teams building API developer experiences from an OpenAPI specification. Import an OpenAPI 3.0 or 3.1 document by upload, URL, or a connected GitHub repository; Swagger 2.0 is converted on import. Octri uses the same specification to build a hosted documentation site, client SDKs, and an MCP server, so API changes can flow through the developer-facing tools together. The documentation site includes generated API reference pages, guides, and a playground for trying endpoints. Teams can customize content and use their own domain. SDK generation supports TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, Ruby, PHP, Dart, Swift, Java, and Kotlin. Octri can publish generated packages to supported registries, including npm, PyPI, Maven Central, crates.io, RubyGems, Packagist, and pub.dev. Each plan, including Free, includes publishing. For AI agents, Octri exposes documentation as context and API endpoints as callable tools through an MCP server. The @octri/mcp package is available on npm and listed in the official MCP Registry as dev.octri/mcp. API credentials for the package can be supplied through environment variables using bearer or OAuth access tokens, API-key headers, or HTTP Basic credentials. It does not provide a full OAuth authorization flow. Octri also provides monitoring for APIs and optional error reporting from generated SDKs. SDK error reporting ships switched off. A developer using an SDK turns it on with a setting; nothing is sent before that choice. When enabled, reports help API owners identify failing operations with error details and SDK release context. Octri is designed for API teams that want documentation, language-specific SDKs, agent access, and monitoring managed from one specification instead of separate generation pipelines. The Free plan supports 50 endpoints and one SDK language; paid plans expand endpoint and language limits.
