"Good deployment tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Octopus Deploy?

Our client migrated from existing deployment tool to octopus and I must say the tool has a great UI and is very easy to use. The ability to select release packages to deploy by just selecting from list of drop down is makes life really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octopus Deploy?

There are some areas that can be improved. Example:- Compared to previous tool that we used, octopus has somewhat restrictive display of past deployments that happened on a stream. There could have been a separate area where they could have displayed all the past deployments before stream refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complex deployments and installations in One-Click"
4/5
What do you like best about Octopus Deploy?

The possibility to install complex solutions, even in various environments and different operating system in basically one click.

In fact, after the machines and variables configuration, your deploy and installation environment will be ready with huge saved time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octopus Deploy?

Initially, hierarchy and configuration can confuse final user (or better the administator who has the job to configure it). You will also need much time to understand its logic and only later you will appreciate its power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Capability for customizing flying pipelines. You can choose which steps you want to miss just before deployment. Lifecycle characteristics are also very valuable. They help us define the environments that are obligatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octopus Deploy?

In reality, not much to love. Maybe only because the public edition has been removed which is shameful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
