"Amazing support for running pipelines within your private K8s infrastructure"

What do you like best about Codefresh?

We have some integration and e2e tests that need to run against our private cloud resources. Codefresh makes it a breeze to deploy this type of pipelines within our private K8s infrastructure, allowing us to access private cloud resources without punching holes in our network. "Pipeline Automation made right"

What do you like best about Codefresh?

Docker first: With every step being a docker container I don't have to worry about the management of worker nodes.

Custom Steps: I have 3 right now which have been extremely valuable in that I don't have to update 30 pipelines when I made a simple change to them. The custom steps support versioning too.

Pipeline Debugger: I love being able to add breakpoints to a pipeline! Extremely valuable when I'm writing a new pipeline. I don't have to run what I know is going to be a busted pipeline dozens of times to get it right.

Thorough Documentation: The Codefresh team is very diligent with keeping documentation up-to-date. All of the documentation is available on GitHub and you can send them a PR should you find something that is out of sorts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codefresh?

Pricing: The current pricing for small, medium, large instances per concurrent build is a bit steep.

Support: can be a little hit or miss in regards to time to resolution

Limited macOS support: macOS builds have been in beta for 5 months, I signed up for the beta when it was announced and I'm still waiting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Codefresh:

There's no good reason to not give it a try. The perceived high cost is ultimately worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Codefresh solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the exception of our mobile application (due to not being accepted to the beta yet), all of our project pipelines are being executed in Codefresh. The integration with GitHub makes achieving the goals of "GitOps" relatively pain-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
