"Fast implementation of Core QMS Apps"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

ETQ's implementation capability is very high, fast and without issue that could not be resolved on the fly. The system was delivered in less than three months. Working hand in hand and with strong internal preparation, understanding the capabilities and connections between apps and then a focused change management is an important premise for success. The App selection is extensive and can be expanded on, and come with a basic functionality. With the right internal Admin and Designer resources a lot of smaller modification can be performed, and ETQ offers packages for further rollout stages with their experiences implementation staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

ETQ has a big suite of "out of the box" applications. Activating them properly needs more effort than initally expected. For proper expectation and requirement alignment, ensure that you get early access to the ETQ Academy for each future application owner to properly check the functionality of the applicable Apps. These apps can be futher custimized and improved with internal dedicated resources, just ensure you understand potential gaps from the beginning and select the best fit App packages - as they work together - that deliver the best ROI. "Spectacular application for both user and designer"
5/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

As a designer, the application allows me to build a module quickly and provide the user with a visual instantly. We can then collaborate on how the application should be built and what all we need to include. The live webinars to sharpen our skillset is also great! I can provide updates to our users when something new is coming. The application is very user-friendly and our users suggest new ideas on how manual processes can be add to ETQ. We just started our integration piece with our main ERP system and I cannot wait to see the finished product. So far, we are very happy with this product. As an administrator, when I open a ticket, it is quickly resolved. If there seems to be multiple back and forth conversations, there is a request for a meeting which is very helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

There are not many downsides except, I cannot just google an issue I'm having and find it on the internet. Also I wish I can see another customer's ERP integration and how other companies use the application so we can brainstorm how it can help our organization. It would be nice to have a free yearly session with a consultant to see how else we can improve our use of the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ETQ Reliance is, in general, a good solution for large scale companies to use."
4/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

ETQ's modules allow for compartimetalization of quality tracking tasks, such as document control.

It offers a large amount of control to the admins to make sure that the right information is being forwarded to the right places and people.

For example, the document control modules approval process provides adaquate measures to ensure that proper review of procedures and forms is completed before put into production.

ETQ script allows for great customizability in the process and some favorable automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

ETQ Reliance could benefit from some better integration with Microsoft Office products.

It would be incredibly nice to have a built in web editor for forms, as opposed to the current download/upload process.

ETQ can be frustrating to some users in fast-paced environments where web access is limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ETQ works, but there is a learning curve"
3/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

- Having a QMS really helped the company keep documents sorted better than keeping everything on paper

- Having one place to keep documents and training together can be helpful

- built in quiz tracking is a nice feature to have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

- Learning the process of how everything works in ETQ can be very difficult. Routing a document through the entire system the first time can be a bit daunting as there is a lot going on

- It feels like there are a lot of areas in ETQ that hinder productivity and are just overall clunky. For example, if you enter your password incorrectly you now need to enter in your username and password again, and need to every time you type something in incorrectly.

- Switching between documents/modules does not feel right, I see a lot of people just backing out completely and finding the document again instead of using the tab system at the top

- needing to download a document every time training is required instead of having a way to preview the document first clutters up a lot of people's downloads folders Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive and Scalable Quality Management Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

ETQ Reliance QMS offers a highly configurable platform that provides excellent flexibility for organizations of all sizes. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate, and the wide range of modules—including Document Control, Corrective Action, Audit Management, and Risk Management—integrates seamlessly into business processes. The scalability of the platform ensures that it can grow with the organization, adapting to increasing complexities and regulatory requirements. I particularly appreciate the advanced analytics and reporting features that provide valuable insights and real-time tracking of quality metrics. Its cloud-based infrastructure also allows for remote access, which is ideal for distributed teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

While ETQ Reliance QMS is feature-rich, the initial implementation and configuration can take time, especially if you are managing large-scale operations with complex workflows. Some users might need external support during this phase, as the system's customization capabilities require a bit of a learning curve. However, once the system is fully set up, it runs smoothly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ETQ is easy to create"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

The system is very configurable and allows for the creation and selection of keywords, categories to allow for easy search and linking. To update or change a list is farily easy, as it is either a simple add button or if mass changes, an easy to perform upload.

The implementation of our QMS went smoothly as the standard workflow and template meet the majority of our needs without the need for much additional changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

The downside of ETQ is not really a downside but the more modules you use the more powerfult he system is. Using the document control module alone is nice and efficient to manage documents, but the ability to link to CAPA, NCMRs, Audits, inspections is more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Angela Anderson of Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ETQ Reliance QMS. It's great to hear that the system's configurability and standard workflow met the majority of your needs during implementation.

"Features are nice but Support can be a big hit or miss."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

The ease of implementation with the drag and drop feature. Scripting isn't too bad to a certain point so it makes it easier to figure out with basic knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

Mostly the support system. Some support members are great to work with and can break down issues into details very well but, if you get unlucky your case can take forever to figure out. There should be a copy system for sections and subforms that would make it way easier to create new module because a decent amount of stuff is similarly used in new modules or exactly the same like part lookup subforms there the same in almost every module. RC people are also a hit or miss sometimes if you get a less experienced person the person will use way more rc hours to figure an issue out which I know makes sense for someone newer but it becomes an issue on my side because I have only a certain number of rc hours per year.
