The strong point of ETQ Reliance QMS that I like most is the formidable module on CAPA. It actually assists us to make our corrective and preventive measures lean in the aspect of implementation and closure. We are able to keep track of the non-conformances and even trace them back to the root cause analysis easily. The other massive advantage is the integrated document control system. The complexity of the setup is one of my greatest dislikes about ETQ Reliance QMS. It took us a lot of time and effort to get all setup to our specific work flows. The user interface also takes more or less outdated at times. It is not as obvious as some of the newer cloud based apps. I like so much the configurability of ETQ Reliance. It has a possibility to customize workflows based on our exact business procedures. This will encourage less manual work and minimal chances of compliance. The system modules included such as document control and CAPA are fantastic as well. It requires some amount of trouble getting set up and configured initially. It is time consuming and demands special expertise. The underlying design of the modules is very scalable, easily customizable, be able to rapidly add new custom modules and yet keep same transactional integrity to the record set. The flexibility in building, integrating modules and features like audit trail, customizable workflows, application promotions etc., are some of the key elements why I like ETQ. Though lot many REST API features has been added, the documentation on the API usage needs to improve. Some key features like the ability for the users to save view filters and additional level of controls in View configuration and Centralized reports is missing. As a Reliance Administrator, I love how scalable and customizable ETQ Reliance is. I can create or modify fields, views, and notifications. I can even develop custom modules within the applications, ALL WITHOUT BEING A PROGRAMMER! I can also integrate data from other modules within Reliance or from other external applications. Reliance is, by far, the best database front end I've ever worked with! I also appreciate their "User Voice" feature that allows users to make and track suggestions for future application changes. I dislike the use of several software languages throughout the system (sql, python, etqscript). It's sometimes difficult to know when to use which language. ETQ Reliance’s customizability is among the greatest advantages of the product for our organization. Arel we involve ETQ Reliance across our organization, and the flexibility in customizing distinct workflow plans for each body is very beneficial. It is a great thing how it automatically hooks up with our ERP, which makes data entry seamless and reduces the risk of duplicates from being generated. ETQ Reliance QMS appears to be outdated and somewhat become cumbersome especially if one is starting from ground zero. We often realise that it takes a lot of time to train new employees and this usually frustrates the onboarding process. It does provide some flexibility though and building your own custom workflows can be rather problematic and usually requires some assistance from administrators. ETQ Reliance is effective in maintaining a digital quality management system. It is user-friendly and provides a single source of information for the company's quality data. Since upgrading from Verse, there have been several improvements that make the system more and more worth the work that goes into the setup and maintenance. Recently, newer enhancements in Reliance CG (2020 and up) have made the system more bug-free and designer-friendly. The number of support tickets we need to create has decreased significantly from 2019 to now. The software's ability to handle advanced configurations and integrate with external software has made it all the more valuable. Flexibility is a large plus: if you know how to utilize ETQ Script, you can make the system do virtually anything. Additionally, once you purchase RC (Remote Configuration) hours, the support team is very helpful when implementing unique configurations or applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ETQ Reliance is a powerful tool, but it still has its limitations. These limitations mostly appear on the designer side: while it is user-friendly, it is not always designer-friendly. My main pet peeve as a designer/administrator is that every time we update or patch, something else in the system seems to break. It has made me very cautious of upgrades. Some design limitations may make it so that users need to use annoying workarounds, such as needing to close two separate forms for one process. Lastly, the pricing structure (for yearly subscriptions, support, MAUs or CCUs, add-ons, QDL or Insights, and RC hours) is not ideal for small companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
