Obsidian Ridge is a CISSP-led managed security services provider (MSSP) for small businesses and professional practices: dental and medical practices, law firms, CPA and accounting firms, and financial advisers. Founded by Kfir Yair, CISSP, the company is based in the Raleigh–Durham Research Triangle in North Carolina and serves clients across the United States. Most small firms have an IT provider for everyday support but nobody watching for attacks. Obsidian Ridge fills that gap and works alongside the existing IT company rather than replacing it. Every plan starts with 24/7 managed detection and response. Computers are protected by Huntress Managed EDR, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts are covered by identity threat detection and response (ITDR), which watches for stolen sessions, suspicious mailbox rules and risky app permissions. Huntress's security operations center monitors and acts around the clock. Obsidian Ridge handles the follow-through within one business day and explains what happened in plain English. Pricing is published and per person, with no minimum number of users: Ridge Core, $25 per person per month, month to month: managed EDR and ITDR. Ridge Plus, $50 per person per month, annual term billed monthly: adds security awareness training with phishing simulations, email security configuration and the Island Enterprise Browser. Ridge Reserve, $70 per person per month, annual term billed monthly: adds a written incident response plan with an annual tabletop exercise, quarterly admin-access reviews, monthly patch reporting and a yearly refresh of the cyber insurance security questionnaire. The Island Enterprise Browser is also sold on its own at $18 per user per month, month to month, so a one-person firm can buy it. Obsidian Ridge deploys and manages it, connects it to the firm's sign-in, and sets the rules for downloads, uploads, copy and paste, printing and screenshots in each work app, on company or personal computers. Two free offers help firms start: a review of the security questionnaire from a cyber insurance application, and a 30-day AI security assessment for teams of 10 to 100 that finds the AI apps and agents running on staff devices and what client data they can reach. Obsidian Ridge is not an insurance agent or broker. Full pricing is at obsidianridge.io/pricing.
