The interface for OBS is so simple yet powerful at the same time which allows you to be creative with your broadcasts. With a wide range of plugins for popular broadcasting software too, it is a one stop shop to broadcast and screen record. Being a free tool as well has massive advantages as you feel like putting more time into the setup to get the most out of it.

The fact it works with tools such as Elgato Stream Deck make a big difference too as it faciliates every need you could have in terms of the streaming side of the things.

Being open source it doesn't have a dedicated customer services team so instead you need to rely on the wider community and GitHub for updates and how to resolve technical quieries. In order to get rid of feedback, I have to open Manage Audio Profiles in Settings and start the config process for my sound to get rid of it and so far, there has been no fix for this issue.
