# OBS as a Professional TV Station (?); wait for Ver. 100 Switching cameras, lower thirds, media sources and Hot keys. I had programmed the Enter key for direct cuts and the space bar for transitions. The Hot Keys are the biggest bugaboos. I was typing in Microsoft Word and hit the space bar and it triggered a transition in OBS. WHAT? Other times, when I use the space bar, it not only triggers a transition, but it will also bring up settings. The programmers know all about this and one of the programmers, Joel Bethke says it's not a high priority issue. Nuf said about that. Media source... no control once it's started. There is no thumbnail or poster shot in the preview window. If I was going to start a program like this, I would travel to a few TV stations, take copious notes and make sure to cross my T's and dot all my I's. Not these guys. They are non-pulsed about addressing these issues. Use this program at your own risk and keep a rag handy to wipe the egg from your face. Michael O'Connor ##### Post Metadata
