"Practical Courses and Quick Support from O'Reilly"
4.5/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

I like using O'Reilly to improve my skills in programming, structures, algorithms, and artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence courses are great because they not only include theories but also a practical guide with coding exercises. Additionally, I enjoy the courses that offer small nuggets of information followed by an exercise, as they reinforce my way of learning and enhance my learning experience. I have had a good experience with O'Reilly's support; when something didn't work, they fixed it in less than 48 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

So far, the experiences I've had don't have anything that bothers me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"O'Reilly: an excellent and very comprehensive learning platform"
5/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

There are countless offers of interesting courses, multiple types of learning (books, recorded courses, live courses, workshops, master classes, specialization courses). It's excellent, I love the O'Reilly learning page. Additionally, it has an AI agent that helps you clarify doubts and explain concepts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

I think nothing, I'm not sure if they have audiobooks, but that would be cool too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional for Self-Learning, Live Events Too Long"
5/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

I like O'Reilly's live events. They prepare me quite in advance of what my company starts to adopt. I already know it from the O'Reilly live events. Having an SSO login made the initial setup very easy for me. O'Reilly has become my primary learning source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

I don't like that their live events are too long. The live events are, like, four hours and late night for me in India. They sometimes do not work really well for me. I don't have four hours so I can just manage one to two hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Resource for Learning, Needs Better Recommendations"
5/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

I like the fact that I can choose from the large library of O'Reilly books but also dive into on-demand videos if I just want to learn something specific on a topic while reading a book. I appreciate how it helps solve the need to buy individual books or courses for specific topics I'm interested in. The initial setup was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

I feel that their layout and the way the recommendation algorithm works could use some help. The layout tends to get a bit convoluted with a lot thrown at you at once. Even when browsing and going into an item's details, that somehow tells the algorithm that you're interested in that topic even though you may just be browsing and looking for more information before deciding whether you're interested in that topic or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jennie Kimmel of O'Reilly

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the wide range of resources available on O'Reilly and finding the setup process easy. We appreciate your feedback on the layout and recommendation algorithm, and we'll definitely take that into consideration for future improvements.

"Comprehensive Learning Platform with Expert Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

I like the vast library of books and courses that O'Reilly offers. It stands out to me because I can access so many recent and valuable books without the need to buy them myself. The people presenting in live events are true experts, which I really appreciate. The initial setup was a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

I never really liked the player for live events. It is very clumsy and buggy, although recently it got better. I also don't like how frequently I am logged out from mobile device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High‑Quality, Just‑in‑Time Learning for Engineers"
4/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

O’Reilly provides deep, high‑quality technical content from trusted practitioners, which makes it easy to learn and to solve problems quickly. I especially appreciate the blend of books, videos, and live learning, since it works well for just‑in‑time, on‑the‑job use when I need answers fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

The sheer volume of content can feel overwhelming at times, and it may take a bit of exploration to locate the most relevant material for a specific need. Once you spend some time navigating, it becomes easier to narrow in on what you’re actually looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Diverse Learning Formats Elevate Skill Building"
5/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

I love using O'Reilly for learning, especially with its lots of different modalities like books, live sessions, courses, and learning paths. It's great because books help me when it's harder to follow along with long courses since I can find specific answers. Live sessions provide a fantastic in-person learning experience, and learning paths are perfect for progressing in a structured way. The initial setup was also very easy. "Excellent Source of Learning with Some Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about O'Reilly?

I like the large amount of content on O'Reilly, and usually the authoritative authors who write this content. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that they try to diversify the offering by including audiobooks and live lessons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about O'Reilly?

The login via SSO is inconvenient to say the least. Given the amount of content, the search is sometimes not particularly fast and/or efficient. Not very easy: I had to receive approval from a member of my company. It is not possible to access the corporate subscription otherwise, in a self-service manner.
