As powerful it is, it is not so easy to come in to come in as a new user, knowing what needs to be setup. Especially when you are working with the Teamcenter integration

Extremely intuitive for learning and working with assembly modeling in a dedicated environment, where it's possible to quickly recreate toolpaths and check materials in my work.

With being such a broad based software all that ability creates complexity in choosing how to create tool paths efficiently.

**What do you like best about NX CAM?**

Currently using NX for designing 3D modelling and noticed the time for printing the 3D models using additive manufacturing through g codes reduced. This is the one of excellent feature introduced to reduced the time of printing the model as well as saving of material.

**What do you dislike about NX CAM?**

Just Its high cost, else everything is perfect in the software.

It is basically generating the G-codes for further processing of manufacturing. These codes are very easy to read as well as easy to interpolate,if something happens wrong in assembly of components.

What I like best about NX CAM is its powerful toolpath generation and simulation capabilities. It gives very accurate machining verification, supports complex 5-axis operations, and allows me to optimize cutting parameters efficiently.

**What do you dislike about NX CAM?**

NX CAM is a powerful tool, but it has a steep learning curve for new users. The interface can feel complex at first, and setting up post processors or custom templates sometimes requires expert knowledge. However, once you get used to it, the performance is excellent

**What problems is NX CAM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NX CAM solves the problem of complex toolpath programming and machine collision risks. With its advanced simulation and postprocessor tools, I can confidently create accurate 3- and 5-axis machining programs. This improves production efficiency and shortens the time from design to finished part.

When we finish the final product, we can also run the tool on the object to see the multipe commands applied on it before the final product is made.

It is little bit confusing while setting the cordinate system upto that we can run the tool on the object after applying the command.

NX is a simple tool in which we create advanced products. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly. Creating machining operations is easy and includes advanced functions, especially for 5-axis operations. Features like collision checking, path splitting, etc., make it easier to create machining processes.

Path Calculation Speed: Toolpath calculation can be slow, especially for complex operations. Optimizing hardware and using multi-core processors can help, but software efficiency improvements are needed.

Increasing Hardware Requirements: Hardware requirements increase as NX CAM evolves, which can be challenging for users to keep up with.

Relatively easy fixing of poor math data prior to cutterpath programming

**What do you dislike about NX CAM?**

NX presents a non intuitive interface and poor instruction set for new cam operations.
Most importantly Non Cutting  Moves. While trying to make things automatic, they've eliminated some very important features in Non Cutting moves. often, the automatic NCM is not adequate.


The new (4 years or so)  operation windows present choices in a terrible order and don't  represent the order in which you program a cutterpath.

They also eliminated the automatic creation  of a program group  when two or more programs are posted together.

streamline and Guided curves create different patterns when morphing from a curvy surface to a straight surface.

Gives us the ability to create prototype models

It's a little clunky compared to other systems like Fusion and MasterCAM. I don't like to hit 3 buttons when one will suffice. In some cases there are too many options and can be confusing which ones work together
