"Attractive system to analyze each space of the company."
4/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

It is one of our best options when it comes to obtaining valuable and necessary information in all our data with a powerful and incomparable analysis. NVivo provides us with tools with which we can discover a lot of critical information from the data we collect through the qualitative and mixed methods we use. Its functions are essential to discover more valuable knowledge and from them produce and deduce findings that are clearly articulated and defensible thanks to the powerful support provided by the rigorous tests of this platform. What do you dislike about NVivo?

We are a team that likes innovation, in addition to this we are very flexible, we have the possibilities of working both inside and outside the company, at this point, it is difficult to carry out actions outside the establishment with this platform since it does not offer a Portable version so that all staff can perform actions at any time that is necessary, this reason however does not create bad thoughts in us, and we continue to use it with great satisfaction. "NVivo application used to conduct my doctoral qualitative research"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

NVivo was helpful to analyze my research data collection and transcription of the interview audio recording to text. I liked the 15 minutes of free credits for transcription. The application is user-friendly and an excellent tool for a beginner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

I think the NVivo application was user-friendly and no dislike. However, I think the pricing is a bit high considering when large data is collected for analysis and transcription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideal Tool for Qualitative Research"
5/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

It helps me become a more efficient social science researcher by storing different types of qualitative data in one place, and making it easy to create multiple subgroups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

Steep learning curve. Takes a lot of time to learn to use the software efficiently before you can even start inputting your data. Not an optimal choice if you are pressed for deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"OK software for anthropologists - could use improvements in UX/UI aspects"
2/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

I like the fact that it can process a lot of information, and affinity mapping can be painful if you just do it yourself, but the software can be of great help. NVivo allows you to process a large amount of data and start to identify patterns in a big mess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

Onboarding is rather poor - you get thrown into it, with little guidance, and the UI is also not very appealing. Compared to other research-related software and platforms, it looks really old and hard to use. It's unfortunate for software that costs hundreds of dollars - they really need to put more money into UX research and UX design! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nvivo Software : user and teacher"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

The software has transitioned to include multi-fold levels of data for coding. Its been a pleasure to use the software, I have been using it since 2011 and have also taken a few lectures with students on how to use the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

I would really appreciate regular information on the changes and up gradation being introduced to the software. Also would appreciate a reduction in cost of single license for an individual like myself, who is not a student, but a researcher and like to keep myself updated with the new features in the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive qualitative research tool"
3.5/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

Primarily like it for the ease of use and intuitive interface - paired with good tutorials (both written and in video format) and forum threads to find functions that we need to use. Found the Nvivo software one to be the most easy to pick up and use when compared to other alternatives on the market.

Beats having to manually keep track and administrate between primary/secondary sources and analyses, especially if multiple people are working on the same project.

I will need more time to evaluate long-term positive/negative sides, but so far, so good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

Price could be lower, transcription price/quality not very good. Otherwise very comparable to other competitive products on the market. Found that it is not very easy to transition between Mac and Windows users, since they can not use the same versions, had to reload separately from Mac. Not sure if it is still an issue or already solved.

Sometimes it is still easier to use generic software for the analysis, especially in smaller projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic"
5/5
What do you like best about NVivo?

I find NVivo very useful in qualitative research. It saves me a lot of time when I am doing thematic analysis and it makes it easy to find related quotes from participants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

I would like there to be more NVivo licenses available for universities and researchers. Universities and research institutions should understand that NVivo is as invaluable as many statistical programmes. I do not know if the lack of availability is associated with the price of NVivo or other issues. I would like there to be a free trial and a reduced price for universities in developing countries with limited resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
