### 1. Reliable, User-Friendly CRM with Strong Automation and Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love this platform for its reliable performance and simple layout. The user friendly interface makes user comfortable in execution of the task efficiently. I love the capability of this platform to handle task through sales pipeline which ensures better visibility and enables planning for successful execution. The workflow management of this platform is commendable in this platform. Other than this work automation of this platform is really good. I love the email automation of this platform. The platform capacity to work smoothly with other platform like zoom, Google meet, Dialpad etc makes this platform more better and robust. I also love the way the support team reaches out instantly right from the onboarding. The pricing of this platform is moderate considering the features and capabilities of this platform.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I love most part of this platform but I wish that there was more integration tools. Other than this I also felt the android version could be made more faster and efficient. Having a more powerful automation system would really boost the capabilities of this platform.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform assist a lot in improving productivity by capturing leads and converting it into positive results. The automation in this platform also reduces the need of more human resources allowing allocation of that resources to more productive and critical task. Frankly this platform pipeline brings more efficiency of the tasks.

 ### 2. It Keeps My Workflow Organized with Easy Contact and Follow Up Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

What I like best about Nutshell is that it helps keep my daily work more organized without making things complicated. I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content for social media, so I regularly manage follow-ups, appointments, wellness communication, nutrition guidance, and client related updates together. Nutshell helps handle these activities in more structured way. I use it very frequently for contact management, task reminders, follow-up tracking, email communication, and audience organization. Features like pipelines, notes, activity history, reminders, email campaigns, and task tracking are very useful for my workflow because they help keep communication and pending work properly managed in one place. I also like the email broadcast feature because it helps me share nutrition awareness and wellness updates in organized way.

performance is smooth for daily work and the interface feels clean and easy to understand. Switching between contacts, campaigns, and tasks is simple most of the time. Setup was not very difficult for regular workflow. overall, Nutshell helps improve workflow organization, follow-up management, wellness communication, and daily productivity while saving time during busy work.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

some advanced customization and reporting options can feel a little limited for more detailed workflow tracking. For regular daily work it works well, but sometimes I feel there could be more flexibility in organizing reports and campaign data in deeper way. Also while switching between multiple sections like contacts, campaigns, tasks, and activity history during busy work, few pages sometimes take little extra time to refresh.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me keep follow-ups, wellness communication, appointments, and daily workflow more organized in one place. Handling reminders, client discussions, nutrition guidance, and communication together can become difficult during busy work, but Nutshell helps manage these activities in more structured way.

The contact management, task tracking, notes, activity history, and email campaign features are very useful because they help keep follow-up communication and pending work properly organized. I also use it for sharing nutrition awareness and wellness related updates in more professional way. overall, it helps save time, reduces confusion, improves workflow organization, and makes daily communication and follow-up management more smooth and manageable.

 ### 3. Streamlined CRM with Effective Lead Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like that Nutshell helps keep our leads generated and maintains clear documentation of all our interactions. It has a click-to-call feature that logs all of our calls, allowing us to know what's happening in every call and track who's saying what. It also helps with sending emails to everyone and streamlines the whole process. I've learned it fairly quickly, and even though we're always learning, it continues to grow in its massive capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Sometimes the call quality is not the greatest always. Sometimes does drop calls. I was having issues with it putting the transcripts of the calls into it. It was not using the AI transcripts for that, and I contacted support and they got that fixed right away today after contacting them.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell manages our multiple businesses as a CRM, helps generate leads, maintains clear documentation, logs calls, provides click to call, and streamlines email processes.

 ### 4. Tines’ Vendor-Agnostic Automation Shows Strong Enterprise ROI Potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sushma M. | Associate Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

In the role of an Industry Analyst, my primary focus is the strategic evaluation of Tines' market positioning and its capacity to solve enterprise-level orchestration challenges. Rather than performing daily administrative tasks, I utilize the platform to benchmark its "Everything is an Agent" architecture against legacy SOAR competitors and assess its long-term ROI. My objective is to validate how effectively Tines reduces technical debt and accelerates time-to-value by replacing rigid, plugin-dependent systems with a flexible, vendor-agnostic automation framework.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

While Nutshell excels in usability, its primary drawbacks lie in reporting limitations and a lack of deep customization for specialized workflows. The platform can feel restrictive for power users who require granular data visualization or highly tailored dashboard layouts. Additionally, as your team grows, the cost of accessing advanced AI and automation features on higher-tier plans can become a significant investment compared to more entry-level CRM options

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solves the critical problem of CRM bloat by providing a platform that is powerful enough to manage complex pipelines but simple enough for a team to actually use. It has benefited us by centralizing our communication and automating the repetitive 'grunt work' of follow-ups, which has directly increased our team's efficiency. Instead of fighting with a complex interface, we can focus on building relationships and closing deals, thanks to its intuitive design and robust automation features.

 ### 5. Easy to use and constantly improving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

From the beginning (five years ago) I have found Nutshell to be easy to use and surprisingly intuitive. This from a previous user of a rather large and grandiose Silicon Valley software product with the same initialism as San Francisco. Nutshell manges the feat of doing what you expect it to do, most of the time. What's more, NS designers are constantly expanding the functionality of NS, adding powerful utilities (e.g. AI-generated email campaigns) without overly complicating things or hitting you up for money each time they add a new feature. Onboarding from zero takes about three weeks, then you and your small company are Off To The Races, doing marketing and customer relationship things you thought only Big Companies with IT departments could do!

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

A few years ago the email security updates (DNS servers, more acronyms, IT dept stuff) required website changes I could not fathom, no matter how hard I tried. I could have called for support, opened a Tech Support ticket, but I elected to just stop doing email campaigns. Now, in my new company, with a new AI-generated website, email broadcasts are once again a breeze.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email Marketing broadcasts the copy I create based on the unique knowledge I possess and makes my small company (one-man) look big.

 ### 6. Effortless Sales Management, Room for Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SOMYA A. | Marketing Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I find Nutshell very simple and easy to use, which means not too much investment in training is needed. The pipeline view is my favorite feature because it makes my day-to-day work easier, especially in marketing and data management. It helps me track the leads I generate through my marketing efforts, and it aids in prioritizing them better while giving clearer insight into the sales process. Setting up Nutshell was easy and straightforward, and importing data from Excel was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I guess the customization options are a little tighter. Also, the mobile experience can be a little better. If I could customize the pipeline more flexibly by adding condition stages or setting rules for moving deals like automatic rules for follow-ups and reminders, it would be great. On the mobile side, I feel it could be faster and more intuitive.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solved our lead management problem, bringing everything to one place. It's simple and easy to use, with a pipeline view that makes tracking leads and prioritizing tasks easier, improving clarity on the sales process.

 ### 7. Essential for Solo Creators with Streamlined Visual Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricky G. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I use Nutshell to manage my brand deal pipeline as a content creator, which helps me track each deal. Before using Nutshell, I was managing everything manually, so it saves me time and energy. The pipeline view is the biggest thing for me. I can see everything laid out visually, which means I can open Nutshell for just 60 seconds and know exactly what needs my attention that day. I also find the email integration solid. Setting it up was easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

The mobile app could be improved, mainly the navigation; I think it could be smoothed out for an easier experience.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to manage my brand deal pipeline as a content creator. It saves me time and energy by automating deal tracking. The pipeline view quickly shows tasks needing attention, and the email integration is solid.

 ### 8. Organized Leads, Seamless Syncing, Top Recommendation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina O. | Client relation specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love the thorough platform that Nutshell provides. When I put a lead into the system, it has everything broken down to what entails for each lead. It shows the pipeline of going to the next steps, which I like. I also loved how Nutshell synced with our Google Drive and it helped to really organize our company. The initial setup was very easy, as the agents were really thorough and experienced, helping me with every step of the way and any clarifying questions I had.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I feel as though the broadcast or sometimes the newsletter could be a little bit more detailed when sending them out and keeping track.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell helps us keep track of our leads and follow the pipeline of steps. It syncs with Google Drive, organizing our company, and providing a thorough breakdown of each lead, making tracking easy and efficient.

 ### 9. Intuitive, Clean CRM with a Visual Pipeline and Built-In Marketing Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

The best thing about this platform is its ease of use and its simplicity in terms of its features. Their platform is also very intuitive and clean. This platform also helps our team to track leads and manage them through the entire pipeline. Most importantly, I like their visual pipeline and their built-in marketing tools, which allow us to handle both sales and communication in a single platform.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Though their CRM covers most of the features, some advanced customisation options and deeper automation capabilities should be expanded further. Complicated workflows are a bit difficult to handle with this platform. Their integration ecosystem for their platform could be expanded as well.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solves the problem of tracking leads and keeping all their communication and engagement centralised. The entire sales pipeline can be managed with ease; both our marketing and sales team has a visibility on the customer journey. This also eliminates the offline spreadsheets and email. Everything can be handled inside the platform, and it gives our team complete progress on the deal.

 ### 10. Simplifies Lead Tracking with Easy Company Connections

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah G. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like how easy it is to build connections between companies and leads in Nutshell, including the tag features within logging activities. It's not convoluted to link things together as it was in the project management tool we were using before. Rather, Nutshell has out-of-the-box solutions that meet our connection needs. I also like the custom BCC option.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I think one improvement could be making the ability to parse which email chains belong to which leads easier. I like the custom BCC option, but if there was something that you did not have to remember to copy every time, that could be useful. The lead import caused a lot of work on my end.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to track leads and maintain organized contact management. It helps me see which companies are involved with each lead, revealing our history and facilitating follow-ups with clients and partners.

 ### 11. Effortless Sales Management with an Intuitive, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan E. | Digital Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is easy for sales teams to adopt and actually use on a daily basis. The interface is clean, pipelines are flexible, and it supports a structured sales process without feeling heavy or overbuilt. It provides solid visibility into deals and activity, which makes managing and coaching the team more straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Reporting and automation are more limited than some larger CRMs, and teams with very complex workflows may find themselves wanting deeper customization. While this simplicity is a strength, it may feel restrictive for organizations looking for advanced enterprise-level features.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solves the common problem of low CRM adoption by providing a system that is simple, intuitive, and easy for sales teams to use consistently. It eliminates spreadsheet tracking, scattered notes, and missed follow-ups by centralizing contacts, activities, and opportunities in a clear pipeline. This creates better organization, accountability, and visibility across the sales process.

The benefits are higher data accuracy, improved sales consistency, and clearer insight for managers without added complexity. Teams spend less time managing the CRM and more time selling, while leadership gains reliable forecasting, better coaching opportunities, and a scalable foundation for growth.

 ### 12. Great for organizing and keeping up with people for your business.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey H. | Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

The non profit I work for uses this software to have one place to track and follow up with people that are interested in knowing more about what we do (that hopefully leads to working with us). Once you understand what features are there, it is very easy to use. I am on and off Nutshell all day, and have to teach other teammates how to use it sometimes. The automations make it easy to communicate with your network once a new person drops into your pipeline. That takes one thing off of my plate, but still leaves a personal touch with the person on the other side of the email/text. Setting reminders (aka activities) keeps me on task without having to backtrack to figure out what my next step is. You just keep moving forward!

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

The hard part of Nutshell is the same as any tech related thing. You have to figure out the different features. Nutshell provides support and trainings that give you an overview of how to use it as well as updated trainings when a new feature is added. So, once you learn the new feature, you are able to integrate it into making your job easier.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If it wasn't for Nutshell, I would have to keep a separate document to keep tabs on hundreds of people at a time, continuously searching my email to see if the person responded or if I still hadn't responded yet, having a separate calendar just for reminders to follow up with people after a certain amount of time, etc. However, with Nutshell, that is for the most part automated and all in one place. It saves me hours in my work day. I can just start doing the task I am supposed to.

**Official Response from Jewell July:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive review of Nutshell, Kelsey! We're glad that features like email automations and activity reminders are helping you streamline your workflows while providing a personal touch to new contacts. Cheers to saving time and moving forward!

All the best,
Jewell from Nutshell

 ### 13. Efficient CRM with Powerful Pipeline Visibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minkin T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I really like the clean, visual, and instantly actionable pipeline view in Nutshell. It makes it easy to see every deal stage and allows for simple drag-and-drop updates, which helps in quickly spotting bottlenecks. The email integration is seamless too; it syncs perfectly with our inboxes, logs conversations automatically, and we can send personalized outreach directly from the platform without switching between apps. Another aspect I appreciate is the simplicity of the automation. We don't need a developer to set up follow-up sequences, task reminders, or lead routing, which saves us hours of admin work every week. Lastly, the initial setup of Nutshell is one of the fastest and least complicated we've experienced for a small-to-mid-sized B2B sales team.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

The mobile app is functional but feels stripped down. It works for quick updates and checking tasks, but it lacks many of the desktop features, making it less useful for reps who work mostly on the go. The pipeline view is not fully functional on mobile; you can see deals, but you can't easily filter, sort, or customize columns the way you can on desktop. For reps who manage their pipeline on the go, this is a big gap. Email composition and scheduling feel restricted. While you can reply to emails, creating more personalized, structured outreach or scheduling send-times is clunky or unavailable.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell centralizes our CRM data, eliminating disorganized leads and improving follow-ups. It enhances pipeline transparency and reduces manual work with email automation and tracking, allowing us to focus on selling rather than admin tasks.

 ### 14. Total Game-changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

What stands out most in Nutshell is the seamless call logging and transcription feature. Every conversation is documented automatically, giving me total clarity and confidence when managing client relationships. If I ever need to double-check wording, revisit commitments, or track follow-ups, it’s all right there. It removes human error and keeps everything organised effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Honestly, the hardest part of reviewing Nutshell is finding something negative to say. If I had to choose, I’d say sometimes I rely on the transcript so much that I don’t take my own notes anymore. But that’s hardly a real complaint - it just shows how well it works.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After trying several CRMs over the years, I can confidently say that Nutshell has solved the biggest frustrations I’ve had with other systems - complexity, clunky interfaces, and paying for features that don’t actually add value. Nutshell strikes the perfect balance between ease of use, powerful features, and realistic pricing. It’s intuitive from day one, which means I didn’t need weeks of setup or training just to get started.

 ### 15. Streamlined CRM with Intuitive Setup and Effective Lead Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike K. | Enterprise Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like Nutshell's capability for researching contacts and leads through their AI research, which helps me determine if my information is correct or incomplete and find the complete information for the lead. The initial setup of Nutshell was pretty easy and intuitive, much easier than the other CRMs I trialed.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I would love a web pop feature so that when a call comes into my RingCentral, it would open up the CRM based on the caller ID to the lead record or a search result.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell keeps my leads and notes organized, transcribes my calls, and summarizes them so I don't have to take notes during a call.

 ### 16. Intuitive CRM That Streamlines Sales Effortlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love Nutshell's intuitive, clean UI and super-low learning curve. The modern, uncluttered interface makes it easy to dive in and start working immediately, which is why it sees such high adoption rates. The drag-and-drop pipelines and customizable dashboards are fantastic, providing a logical, supportive environment rather than getting in the way. This is critical for my small team, alleviating a lot of frustration and saving us significant time. I also really appreciate the Next-Action Focus & AI-Powered Insights, which stand out remarkably. With features like AI recommendations and the focusing on the most important next action, it helps reduce indecision and drives faster momentum. It's highly practical and aids in smarter, quicker selling. Additionally, Nutshell's seamless pipeline management and visibility give us clear forecasting and empower us with strong reporting tools that are both easy to use and insightful. Everything ties together nicely for a streamlined experience that really boosts our productivity. Also, I find that Nutshell's compatibility with various other tools is one of its biggest strengths, streamlining our workflow without cumbersome custom development. Lastly, the setup was a breeze—easy, quick, and straightforward, much simpler than other CRMs I've tried.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

1. Reporting and analytics depth is fairly basic. The standard reports and dashboards are good for quick overviews, but they lack advanced slicing and dicing options needed for complex analysis. Custom reports exist but aren't flexible enough for detailed multi-dimensional breakdowns. It sometimes requires exporting to Excel/Google Sheets, which isn't ideal for an all-in-one solution. 2. Customization limits for very specific or complex workflows. While you can add custom fields and automations, there are restrictions if your sales process needs highly unique requirements. Complex workflows like multi-layered approval chains or highly tailored views hit limits quickly. Some advanced features are only available at higher tiers, which can feel restrictive for mid-tier plans.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell centralizes our contacts and deals, reducing data chaos and missed leads. It automates repetitive admin tasks, saving hours weekly. Its intuitive UI encourages high team adoption, while AI-driven insights and seamless pipeline management improve our sales process and decision-making.

 ### 17. Streamlined Sales Management with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yagnik C. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I use Nutshell to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions, and it really helps us avoid losing track of leads while also reducing manual work. What I like about Nutshell is its interface, which is easy to use for everyone. It makes navigating the system simple and allows me to access customer information quickly without wasting much time. The initial setup was very straightforward and easy.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Customization options for the pipeline could be improved. I would like to make pipeline stages more flexible and allow for more dynamic workflows.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell helps us avoid losing track of leads and reduces manual work. It makes it easy to navigate the system and access customer information quickly.

 ### 18. Intuitive, Seamless CRM for U.S. Sales Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murilo Castro L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love Nutshell's intuitive, no-code usability that offers a zero learning curve for non-technical U.S. regional reps. It's the only CRM that our non-technical regional sales reps and U.S. partner teams use consistently, without the need for mandatory training or IT support. For our distributed U.S. team, this is crucial. Nutshell's interface is clean and aligns perfectly with U.S. sales workflows, making each action like adding a lead, updating a pipeline stage, or sending an email just 1-2 clicks away, with no confusing custom fields or jargon. The initial setup was exceptionally fast, intuitive, and zero-fuss for our U.S.-based B2B SaaS/retail tech business.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I find the lead routing limited; there's no native way to auto-route U.S. leads to the correct regional rep or partner. We have to route leads manually, leading to delayed follow-ups for time-sensitive U.S. SMB leads.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell eliminates CRM clutter, fills the U.S. partner/channel sales gap, and its intuitive no-code usability means even non-technical reps use it without training.

 ### 19. Great Organization tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

It is nice to have a hub for marketing resources integrated with our database list. Being able to directly contact people through the system with customized campaigns is very convenient. Once you dive in and learn the system, it is very easy to use across departments.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Responsiveness and clarity from the support team for upcoming updates is an area that can be improved upon. They do have a 'roadmap' for upcoming features. Some of the updates are also confusing in the moment and change the process in how you do things. These changes typically are not communicated in the roadmap.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are finding more integrations with the system that build upon current processes. It is becoming a tool that almost all of our systems can connect to and be used in tandem with.

**Official Response from Jewell July:**

> Thank you for sharing positive feedback about Nutshell, Connor! We're excited to hear how you're using Nutshell to improve your marketing efforts and integrate with your company's tech stack!

 ### 20. Streamlined CRM with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SOHEB R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love Nutshell for its all-in-one functionality, which includes contact management, visual sales pipeline, emails, marketing, and web chat/text messaging, making it easy to consolidate tools. I find its user-friendly design to be the most praised aspect. I also enjoy the omnichannel inbox, which syncs all team emails, calls, and even WhatsApp messages into a single timeline. This helps replace scattered spreadsheets and sticky notes with a single source of truth for all contacts and data interaction history.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Users have reported difficulty creating custom workflows from scratch or setting complex conditional lead stage outcomes. The system often fails to proactively flag duplicate accounts or people during batch uploads, which can lead to a messy database and wasted time manually merging records.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to replace scattered spreadsheets and sticky notes with a single source of truth, consolidating tools like contact management, sales pipeline, email marketing, and messaging.

 ### 21. Powerful Reports and Pipeline Features That Streamline Sales and Marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin C. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I appreciate the broad range of functionality and the depth of the application. The report generation and Pipeline features, in particular, make it easy to understand what’s happening and to execute sales and marketing in a way that feels straightforward and smooth.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I wouldn't necessarily say "downside", but there is a bit of a learning curve to be able to use enough of the utilities to be effective.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contact management, opportunity status tracking, and marketing tools (landing pages and bulk email broadcasts) are all handled effectively. Those features alone save me hours each day. The ability to generate analytics reports and share them with others also helps keep the team aligned, efficient, and effective.

 ### 22. Very user friendly and easy to use and understand.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

The convenience of the program. Very user-friendly and easy to set up. A couple of steps and you have it the way you want it, and if you want to change it, you can.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

When looking at emails, it will keep them even if the email doesn't look like an email. It can be frustrating to search for a name and you see that as an email.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can take it to a new client to a closed client pretty quickly. I can also move it if the client if they are going in a different direction.

 ### 23. Affordable, Supportive CRM That Feels Like a Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annette C. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love the fact that it provides a lot of the same firepower and offerings as HubSpot at a fraction of the cost. The team is always ready to answer questions, and its very easy to get solutions to challenges quickly. I feel like more than a number with Nutshell, I feel like they are a partner with my business. When I wanted some specific ways to contact clients, they worked with me to determine the best ways to make that happen. I absolutely love this platform as a CRM.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I don't like that I can't set up a funnel that will email multiple people at once - instead, I have to enter each person into the funnel individually.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell is solving several problems for Law Quill:

Lead Organization and Tracking
It centralizes all prospective law firm leads from various sources (LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals) into one place, eliminating the need for manual tracking in spreadsheets or multiple platforms. This ensures no leads are lost or forgotten.

Pipeline Visibility
The sales pipeline view allows you to see exactly where each prospect is in the sales process which makes it easier to forecast revenue and identify bottlenecks in conversions.

Automated Follow-Ups and Tasks
Automation ensures timely follow-up emails and reminders so potential clients aren’t neglected. This reduces manual work and increases the likelihood of closing deals.

Reporting and Insights
Detailed analytics show which lead sources and campaigns are generating the most conversions. This allows for better decision-making and allocation of marketing spend.

Overall Benefit:
Nutshell is increasing efficiency, improving lead management, reducing manual errors, and providing clear visibility into Law Quill’s sales funnel.

 ### 24. Constantly Improving, Now Faster Than Ever

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul G. | Senior Estimator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

My favorite part of Nutshell is that it is never finished, they are always evolving and upgrading, and most of the time that doesn't come at the cost of adding price upgrades for us the customer. They are also quick to take feedback when and upgrade isn't actually and improvement and refinement. There are so many bells and whistles, the features are endless and we were able to customize it to fit our needs perfectly. It was easy set up, easy use, and our team uses it all day, everyday!

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Sometimes speed can be an issues, especially on leads with a lot of notes or info, however, that seems to be almost a non issues in the latest upgrades. So we are much happier with the speed of use now!

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We employ a team of remote workers that depend on information on their prospects both new and old, and nutshell is that tool. We also needed a way to communicate status of jobs from pricing through completion and delivery with workers that are scattered and cannot just walk out into the shop and check and Nutshell allows us to do that.

 ### 25. Easy to Use, Quick to Implement, and Streamlines Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shankar S. | Procurement & Inventory Officer, Food Production, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

It’s easy to use and quick to implement. Everything is available in one platform, which helps save time and makes the overall workflow more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

It has limited advanced features and lacks customization options.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Healthy meal plan companies typically struggle with scattered customer data across Excel, WhatsApp, email, and calls. It can be difficult to track leads and subscriptions, and manual customer follow-ups often take too much time. There’s also poor visibility into the sales pipeline, which can lead to missed renewal and upsell opportunities, along with a lack of centralized communication.

Nutshell addresses these issues by centralizing customer and sales management in a single CRM system.

 ### 26. Efficient CRM with Some Scope for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zolboo D. | Partnerships Lead, Asia Pacific & Travel Tourism

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I find the email tool easy to navigate. The audience feature with relevant contacts is helpful for email merging to a dedicated audience, and the drip campaign feature has shown its usefulness. Adding contacts seems easier, and my team values the white glow support for managing a large number of contacts.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I wish there was a button to deactivate a contact who's no longer in the organization, so we wouldn't have to do so many manual steps. Also, when sending emails, it would be helpful to have the sender blank at first to choose instead of having a default person, as sometimes people forget to change that. CRMs are always confusing to understand, and even though Nutshell seems less sophisticated and more straightforward than others, it still took me some time to get used to it. For contacts, it might be specific to our organization, but it was confusing to navigate similar name organizations and find multiple leads inside.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell helps manage all our member and client data, which is crucial for a member-driven organization. It provides an easy-to-navigate email tool, useful audience feature for email merging, and drip campaigns. Adding and organizing contacts is simpler, and my team values its large contact support.

 ### 27. Effortless CRM, Amazing Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I use Nutshell for CRM and Marketing. It helps keep my sales team on track and allows me to better connect with my customers. I like the ease of use, great support, and easy onboarding. The integration with QuickBooks Online is really convenient, especially the ability to send quotes directly from Nutshell, which, when accepted, are imported into QuickBooks. The price was competitive, and Nutshell offered more CRM capabilities and more integration with the other tools I use. The initial setup was very easy as their team handled the setup and integration.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Nutshell has a very sophisticated tool for keeping leads separated. For very small teams, this function could be eliminated.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell helps keep my sales team on track and allows me to better connect with my customers.

 ### 28. A Seamless Way to Manage and Coordinate Marketing Leads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

What I like best about Nutshell is how easy it makes coordinating incoming marketing leads with our sales team. Leads are organized, clearly assigned, and simple to track, which ensures nothing slips through the cracks. It keeps marketing and sales aligned, improves response time, and gives everyone visibility into where each lead stands in the pipeline—all without being overly complicated.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

One thing I disliked about Nutshell is how easy it can be to accidentally create duplicate entries. If the same lead comes in through multiple channels or is entered more than once, duplicates can occur, which requires some manual cleanup to keep records accurate.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solves the problem of leads getting stuck or lost in email inboxes. Instead of managing opportunities through scattered emails, all incoming leads are centralized in one system where they can be tracked, assigned, and followed up on properly. This creates a more organized workflow, improves accountability, and ensures every lead gets timely attention from the sales team.

 ### 29. Critical to our mailing list marketing channel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

What I like best about Nutshell is how easy it is to use, especially for email marketing. As a nonprofit, we need tools that are efficient and intuitive, and Nutshell allows us to create and send emails without a steep learning curve. It helps us stay organized, communicate consistently with our audience, and track engagement in a way that’s easy to understand. It saves our team time and supports our outreach efforts effectively.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

One area for improvement is the user experience, which is very text-driven. From a UX perspective, some workflows could benefit from more visual elements, clearer layouts, or dashboards that make information easier to scan at a glance. While the functionality is strong, a more visually intuitive interface would improve efficiency and make the platform even more user-friendly.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solves the challenge of managing contacts and communications in one centralized place. It helps us organize our audience, streamline email outreach, and maintain consistent communication without needing multiple tools. For our nonprofit, this means saving time, reducing manual work, and staying focused on our mission rather than on complex systems. The ability to track engagement also helps us understand what resonates with our community and improve how we communicate and build relationships.

 ### 30. Useful CRM Software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin J.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell does a good job of organizing and maintaining full records of interactions, conversations, emails, and notes with our customers. The relationship of Person to Company to Lead is useful. The communication tools for reaching out to customers directly from Nutshell are also very good. The commitment to an available REST API is essential for our use and something I really appreciate and respect about Nutshell.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

There is limited flexibility in some of the features of Nutshell. For example in the automations, it is limited as to what can be used to trigger the next step or to trigger an automatic email/communication. I wish that leads could function more completely as orders in and of themselves, with the ability to include percentage based line items such as sales tax or apply discounts to all of the products on a lead.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell provides an efficient place to maintain our customer records, including all email correspondence, orders placed (as leads), and their basic information as well as their connections to companies. The ability to set up automations in pipelines is also something we can benefit from as it takes some manual work out of the equation to have emails automatically be sent based on time frames or certain criteria.

 ### 31. A solid CRM for small teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Capital Markets | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

We’ve been using Nutshell as our CRM, and overall it’s been a solid experience. The platform is straightforward to use, and it helps keep our sales pipeline and customer interactions organized.

What I like most is the clean interface and how easy it is to track deals and activities without a steep learning curve. It’s especially helpful for smaller teams that want something functional without being overly complex.

That said, there are still areas where reporting and customization could be improved, but the product continues to evolve and the team seems responsive to feedback.

Overall, Nutshell has been a useful tool for managing our CRM needs.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Customization options are somewhat limited compared to larger enterprise CRMs.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell helps solve the problem of keeping customer information, sales activities, and deal pipelines organized in one place. Instead of relying on spreadsheets or scattered tools, it provides a centralized system to track interactions and progress across the sales process.

This has benefited us by saving time, improving visibility into our pipeline, and making it easier for the team to stay aligned and follow up consistently.

 ### 32. High impact CRM without the bloated price tag

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

As a Nutshell user for 4+ years, I like that my small business has grown substantially, just as the Nutshell product has. I switched from HubSpot to Nutshell initially to save money, and now I'm in love with how easy the platform is to use and how I've been able to integrate it into my business workflows. It provides me all the features I need to manage and scale my business without being bloated with things that distract and don't actually matter to a company of my size.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I'm pretty happy, but I would love to see better integration with automation tools like Zapier. I use some other software tools that I would like to build integrations with using Zape,r but Nutshell limits what fields/features are able to be connected. Opening that up more would be fantastic.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of inbound leads allows me to capture, screen and automate initial touch points. I also rely on it heavily to move things through the sales pipeline with automations, scheduled follow-ups, etc. And for ongoing marketing, I use their email marketing tools to send broadcast emails to offer updates and special offers, further filling my sales pipeline.

 ### 33. Simple, reliable CRM with excellent support for small teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ross M. | Founder and Chief Product Officer

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is a solid, well thought through CRM that works particularly well for a small team. The interface is simple and intuitive, which makes it easy to onboard new users and keep day to day usage consistent. Customer support is a real strength - the team are always quick to respond and genuinely helpful when questions or issues come up. For core CRM needs like contact and lead management, it does exactly what we need without unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Reporting could be more powerful and flexible, especially as you start to want deeper insights. We also found limitations with the built in web forms and tracking, which meant we eventually had to move lead capture to a third party tool. While it works very well for a small team, there are some open questions around how it would scale for larger or more complex organisations.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell solves the problem of managing leads, contacts, and sales activity in a single, easy to use system without adding unnecessary complexity. For our team, it replaces scattered spreadsheets and inbox based tracking with a clear, shared view of deals, communication history, and next steps. This has improved visibility across the team, reduced manual admin, and made it easier to stay organised and consistent in how we manage leads. The simplicity of the platform also means it is quick to adopt and easy to maintain day to day, which is especially valuable for a small team.

 ### 34. Excellent CRM. Excellent support. Excellent product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany S. | Senior Technical Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is a fantastic product. My employer moved from an in-house CRM to Nutshell in the spring of this year. The transition was easy. The team was so supportive and helpful. No question was out of the question. We felt comfortable getting to the know the program. The trial before purchase was perfect, and all the items we added during the trial carried over into the live program.

I use Nutshell everyday. The reporting is fantastic. It's easy to find products and the easiest CRM I've ever used. The cost is absolutely worth the product, and I super appreciated that there was no extra cost for onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

My only complaint is that sometimes features change. This is generally announced beforehand, and feedback is requested afterward. But I do wish some changes were optional rather than mandatory.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of reporting! It's easy to see how much each product is worth, and it's beyond easy to pull reports for Executive Leadership at a moment's notice.

 ### 35. Outstanding customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie A. | Owner/Travel Insurance Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I have been using Nutshell for 6 years now, and I like that it is very easy to navigate. I have always have outstanding customer support if I had questions or needed urgent assistance. I recently had an issue that needed urgent attention, and James was there to assist me. He resolved my issue, and was very friendly. I would highly recommend Nutshell to anyone. I have a few different CRM's over the past 20 years, and this one is the best!

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

There have been a few times where I have made an entry on a client's file, and then got distracted and started searching another client's file, losing all of the information I just added. I wish that there was an alert warning me that I did not click save, so that I wouldn't lose everything I just entered.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell allows me to store all of my client information, and track all of my sales. This keeps my business organized.

 ### 36. Streamlined CRM Without the Bloat

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avinash D. | data analyst Trainee, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I use Nutshell primarily to manage leads, automate outreach, and keep my entire sales workflow organized without drowning in menus or pointless features. Nutshell is the first CRM that actually delivers on usability. It eliminates the chaos of tracking leads across spreadsheets, emails, and random notes by pulling everything into one clean pipeline. I love that it cuts follow-up delays to zero with automated sequences that handle repetitive outreach better than any manual system ever could. The biggest win is that it makes managing leads and follow-ups stupidly fast and frictionless. Nutshell removes the mental overhead—every lead, email, and follow-up is auto-organized so nothing slips through the cracks. Because the system handles the busywork, I stay focused on actual selling instead of babysitting a CRM. Pairing Nutshell with email and analytics tools keeps my outreach, tracking, and reporting fully synced. The initial setup was straightforward—importing data, configuring pipelines, and getting everyone onboarded took a fraction of the time compared to other CRMs.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

The only real drawback is that its customization options can feel limited when you're trying to build more complex, highly tailored workflows. It needs deeper field-level controls and more flexible automation triggers so advanced workflows don't feel boxed in.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to manage leads, automate outreach, and organize my sales workflow without extra clutter. It pulls leads into a clean pipeline, eliminates chaos, automates follow-ups, and removes the mental overhead of busywork, letting me focus on selling.

 ### 37. Easy Lead Entry, But Limited Functionality for Company Accounts

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayden C. | Aircraft Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

It is easy to input people and leads into the CRM

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I am not able to do much else after putting the lead in, I can not even see my tasks. I am on a company account and it is very frustrating basically only being able to use nutshell as a notepad and placeholder. I don't know if I'm limited due to the selected plan or if it is because I am not the Primary account user. I hope our up coming call can fix a lot of these issue. It is a platform I want to use for the ease of use but dislike the restrictions i face.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No issues have been solved for me but I have an upcoming call and I hope it will fix all the issues.

 ### 38. Nutshell (In a Nutshell), it just works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell has a very user friendly and intuitive user interface.
The API gives access to numerous data points to aid in Process Integration
I especially like the feed back on Emails sent through the system. way more useful than basic Non-Delivery reports

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

While I enjoy all the aspects of the existing APIs, I would like to see an API to the Marketing section.
it would be helpful in managing email bounces, and other client touch feedback.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coming from Salesforce, nutshell gives out sales team more seamless way of managing our customer engagement.
Other CRMs are trying to upsell you on features so the modular stitchwork of modules makes the software harder for non technical users to engage with
Now we have Nutshell, the sales staff can very easily move leads through the sales funnel with out too much training

 ### 39. Essential CRM for Streamlining Sales Pipeline

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madelyn M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I really appreciate that Nutshell offers an integrated system allowing calls to be made directly within the platform. This feature takes notes for me and effectively tracks the last time customers were contacted, which greatly aids in managing customer relationships. Additionally, the drip sequence and tagging functionalities are impressive and work remarkably well, helping to streamline and personalize outreach efforts. My training on Nutshell went fairly easy, reflecting its user-friendly design. Overall, I am so satisfied with the experiences and functionalities that Nutshell provides that I would highly recommend it to others, exemplified by my eagerness to give it a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I think what doesn't work as well is when I'm calling a customer and they don't answer. They end up calling back on my phone and it doesn't track any of that call in Nutshell.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to track sales pipelines, and it efficiently manages call notes and customer contact history, enhancing our sales process.

 ### 40. Intuitive without a lot of bells and whistles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell simply gets the job done. It's not trying to be something it's not; it's for tracking and managing leads, at least in our business. And it nails that task with a simple process and UI.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Can at times feel a bit dated, like enterprise SaaS of old; even though there are modern features in the platform, the UI isn't designed to invite their use.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage sales across three functional groups in the company, and Nutshell helps us stay coordinated. We particularly like the ability to bcc Nutshell when we email leads and have those emails automatically populated in their profile.

 ### 41. Solid player that can make the big plays but misses the easy layups...

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wahab K. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

It's fairly intuitive and does what a CRM should do - you can find info easily and they have great reports. I also enjoyed my experience with their customer support team who handled my issue promptly. Nutshell is a good choice for teams needing basic features and looking to keep costs down.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

It can be slow and lag a lot at times which really disrupts your workflow. Also, one of my biggest pet peeves with the platform is the fact that call steps in a sequence are not a native feature. Addressing those two areas would make Nutshell a more versatile solution.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell allows our team to keep track of leads and deals easily while also giving us an idea of where we are at performance wise. I am easily able to filter leads and save lists which I can come back to later on which allows me to maintain my pipeline hygiene and ensure I'm on the path to hitting my number.

 ### 42. User-Friendly App with Quick Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreina M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I find Nutshell incredibly user-friendly, which enhances my productivity by making it effortless to keep track of everything related to my sales notes. The app is particularly useful for my role in marketing and sales, where I'm often on the road. It provides the convenience of easily accessing crucial information without needing a computer, which is a tremendous advantage when working remotely or traveling. The setup of Nutshell was very easy—quick and simple—allowing me to get started without any hassles. This ease of use, combined with the convenience of mobile access, significantly aids in managing my tasks efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I think having access to a larger database of referral sources would be beneficial.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to keep track of everything easily, and access sales details on the go via my phone. It’s user-friendly, making it simple to quickly pull up information when I'm out marketing or on the road.

 ### 43. Enhances Deal Tracking with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth K.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like using Nutshell CRM because it provides a great way to keep track of my opportunities and monitor the progress through different stages. One feature that stands out is the stage bar, which clearly shows where we are in the deal process, helping me communicate accurately with management, especially when I am at the negotiation stage. This feature enables me to forecast more accurately, which is invaluable in my work.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I find that Nutshell could be improved by allowing configuration of a portlet to write MEDDIC and track the next steps in detail for deals. It would be beneficial if I could have a working document integrated within the system to meticulously track and outline each step in the deal process, such as sign-offs, legal reviews, and walkthroughs.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nutshell to track opportunities and stage progress, which helps me update management and forecast accurately.

 ### 44. Great system and best onboarding we've had!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurie B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

We've used Nutshell for a couple of months as our new CRM, and the onboarding process has been fantastic. Our salesperson told us how to use an upgrade to get our onboarding calls included in the package, and I'm so glad we did. We are beginning to put information into the system and it seems to work for the way our brains work. Even when we start wondering where to put something, there it is. Nutshell has done a great job of thinking like the sales teams that are end users, vs some others that were clearly built for engineers, not salespeople. Thank you Nutshell!

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

We haven't found a downside. So far, so good.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a place to keep our leads and deals. I speak at conferences and use a tool to gather leads, a different tool to set up meetings, and it's an intense process before and after the conference. We tried two other CRMs in the 10 years we've been in business and never had a good experience until now. We are now able to track our people, set up nurture systems, set up a sales funnel, and automate things we didn't know we could automate. We also have the marketing package and intend to create a newsletter and nurture sequences through Nutshell.

 ### 45. Getting started with Nutshell is a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | Marketing Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Getting started with Nutshell was a breeze. It's intuitive, clean, and fully functional from day one. I appreciate how quickly I was able to adapt, with minimal training required. The interface feels logical and modern, which means no resistance from new users.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Reporting is solid but lacks deep customization—some charts and dashboards feel limited for advanced users. SalesRobotG2

Customization options are somewhat restricted—adding more custom fields or adjusting layouts would be a welcome upgrade.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scattered sales data - Instead of juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes, and disconnected tools, Nutshell centralizes all leads, contacts, and deals into one clean pipeline.

Missed follow-ups - Automated reminders and task tracking ensure no lead slips through the cracks.

Complex CRMs with steep learning curves - Unlike other tools, Nutshell is intuitive and simple, so onboarding is fast and adoption is high.

Poor team visibility - Managers and reps can see the sales pipeline in real time, so everyone knows what stage deals are in and what needs to happen next.

Disconnected communication - Email syncing with Gmail/Outlook keeps all conversations tied to the right contact automatically.

 ### 46. It's pretty self-explanatory

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like that in your dashboard, all appointments are listed along the side, so there really is no need to go back and forth to google calendar to check appointments. I also like that I have the ability to put what I want showing on my dashboard vs what other people in company would rather have there. I work for a company that has multiple locations and I can make it show me only my location salespeople, which is nice to not have every single person's appointments or leads showing. What I also like about the dashboard is there is no limit on the cards that I wish to have showing. At least I haven't gotten to a limit and still have the option to add one if I want. It's pretty self-explanatory on what information gets entered and where. The text/email feature through Nutshell is great. I have created certain templates for emails to go to our customers for different reasons and it'll automatically insert the customer's name into the template email once I am in that person's info and click on send email and then just click send - super easy and takes just a few seconds/clicks. Nutshell also suggests if a person or lead could be a duplicate (perhaps previously entered by someone else with a different spelling, or maybe they've moved from the previous address and has the same name) and then you can merge them together if it is in fact a duplicate, or you could click not a duplicate if it's not.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

There are some things/selections that are repetitively entered in both Person and Lead. If I enter a lead before I enter a person, it does not pull all of their information that I already entered in the lead over to the person so address/phone number/email all need to be re-entered. However if the Person is entered first, then click create a lead, it will pull all of the information already entered over. (Now we just make sure we enter the person first so we aren't entering the same data twice)

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping better track of open leads that need to be moved through the pipeline. I used to have to keep a google excel sheet with every single lead, the date of their appointment, what date they were quoted, and then the dates they were either sold or became a dead lead and now I don't have to do that anymore if I don't want to because Nutshell dashboard shows me the information I want to see

 ### 47. Intuitive CRM with Limitless Accessibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug G. | Client Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like that Nutshell is very intuitive, easy to set up, simple to use, and cloud-based, so I can use it anywhere. This makes my sales forecasting easier, especially because I'm on the road a lot. The initial setup was pretty easy once I figured out the basic steps, and it didn't take too long.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

It can be a little bit basic compared to CRMs like Salesforce. I would like to see more integrations with other tools that we use, such as Slack, ClickUp, or HubSpot.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell helps me manage my pipeline and forecast sales. It's intuitive, easy to set up, and cloud-based, making my sales forecasting easier while I'm on the road.

 ### 48. Full Powered Information on the Road.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I am able to access my Nutshell information while I am travelling, and being untethered to a desktop is very important. I am able to use my mobile phone to access the full power of Nutshell and view/modify contacts, add notes, and check customer scheduling and history anytime, anywhere.
It was necessary to quickly pivot my schedule this week, and by being able to access Nutshell all day, frequently, I was able to manage my time and my customer meetings.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Not a Nutshell problem, though data lag when out of primary cellular network can be frustrating.
As for features, so far with about two months of continuous use, no negatives to report at this time.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By integrating Nutshell with my customer contacts and messages, I am able to quickly catch up on the history of my accounts and be better prepared when meeting with my customers. This will be invaluable with several customers that I contact intermittently/infrequently.

 ### 49. Great customizable CRM, adaptable to your unique needs.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

The amount of customization that is embedded throughout (including tags, lists, and workflows). The onboarding process is also very supportive by providing three free onboarding meetings with a Nutshell team member, and sharing a template for customizing your workflows with their support.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

There are some items I wanted to suggest for feedback, but the feedback button was not working for me. Notably, I would suggest the following as items for the team to hopefully integrate:
- making the email pop-up box to be adjustable in size (the email body box can be quite small if you are cc'ing someone)
- allow the use of email templates when replying to emails (currently you can send email templates only if you start a new email chain, but it is nice for clients to be able to see a follow-up/reply to a message in the same chain for context)
- allow tags to be editable and mergeable with other tags (it would be great if you could edit the tag text as well as merge multiple tags together)
- you should be able to pin lists to the top of your lists section for companies, people, and leads for ease of access
- for custom $ value fields, you should be able to see the total amount when viewing that group or list of leads

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tracking clients, leads, and won projects including fees

 ### 50. Affordable All-in-One CRM with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I love their customer support team. They're very responsive and very positive. I use broadcast tools, which make it a nice simple way to run sales emails and marketing cadences. Nutshell is very easy to set up on your own, but the customer support team helps you out too.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Well, Nutshell is a jack of all trades. I would say it's kind of a master of none. I could see people saying maybe they need a little bit more. For example, first drip campaigns for sales, there's other systems that just do a lot better and more complex job.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell provides a cost-effective contact management system, essential for our small company budget. It keeps track of our contacts, covering marketing and sales. It's a jack-of-all-trades solution, great for our needs with affordability and essential tracking features.
