What I like most about Nutanix Prism is its simplicity and visibility. It offers a single, intuitive interface for managing compute, storage, and virtualization without having to rely on multiple tools. Prism also makes it straightforward to monitor performance, capacity, and overall health in real time, which helps speed up troubleshooting and reduces operational overhead. Day-to-day tasks like VM management, upgrades, and scaling can be completed quickly and with confidence, so the infrastructure team can spend less time on routine maintenance and more time supporting business and production needs. For example, updates have to be performed in a specific order, moving from Prism to Element. Also, Nutanix Guest Tools must be installed on every server, but it can’t update automatically, so we have to mount the ISO on each VM and run the updates manually from time to time.
