## Numeric Reviews
  ### 1. Superior Variance Analytics and Seamless NetSuite Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric H. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

What I love best about Numeric and the main reason why our team switched from FloQast to Numeric is because of their superior variance analytic tool and a much more power integration to our ERP, NetSuite. Numeric' variance analytic tool is able to create reports on any level , such as vendors and customers, which saved our team time from having to create manual reports in NetSuite.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Since Numeric is relatively new compared to FloQast or BlackLine, there are some minor areas in reporting and display that could be improved to enhance user-friendliness. That said, their support team has been top-notch; they consistently listen to our feedback seriously and implement suggestions very quickly.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric is saving our accounting team time in our variance analytic preparation with their power flux tool and ERP integrations. Our team no longer have to pull manual reports into excel to get the level of data that we need each month.
Their checklist and reconciliation tool has also been a time saving and met our expectations.
Also love their monitoring feature, technical accounting AI agent and also their dashboard views for management review during close.

  ### 2. Centralized Month-End Close Processes Automated via Numeric

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew Z. | Accounting Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric provides a centralized place where a lot of our previously disparate month-end close work now lives. Our checklist, reconciliations, recurring journals, flux tasks, etc. have increasingly moved into Numeric since we implemented the tool. Every close has gotten consistently & increasingly smoother, as a result. Numeric has also grown with our team, as we consider new automation & AI related opportunities, as an Accounting function.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

The flux module forces us to "sign off" on every assigned flux line, whether they required a flux explanation or not. There doesn't seem to be an easy work-around other than just manually pushing these lines through during MEC after the period has concluded. Also, there are times during the busiest MEC refresh days that our integrations give us random error messages about failures to update tasks, assignments, due dates, etc. We manage to work-around them in most MEC cycles, but these kinds of "internal failure errors" are the most common errors reported by users during our MECs in Numeric.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric allows our team to work from centralized files & reconciliations which previously only 1 individual could access at a time, to avoid conflicts in Excel. Rather than perpetually refreshing these files & underlying reports, many of these steps are automated via Numeric after about 2 years now live in the tool. Numeric is making our overall MEC process far more consistent & auditable, and has helped us encourage the broader team to take more accountability over strengthening processes & controls.

  ### 3. Revolutionized Our Month-End Close with Efficiency and Transparency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keshav B. | VP Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

This software has significantly improved the efficiency and transparency of our month-end close process. It provides a centralized platform to manage month-end tasks, perform reconciliations, and analyze variances, which has helped streamline workflows across the finance team.

One of the biggest advantages is the clear visibility into month-end tasks. Tasks are well organized with defined ownership and status tracking, making it easy to monitor progress and identify issues. This has reduced follow-ups and improved accountability during close periods.

The reconciliation functionality is intuitive and well-structured. It allows us to quickly compare balances, identify discrepancies, and document explanations in one place. Having supporting details and reconciliation history readily available has improved accuracy and audit readiness.

The variance analysis features are also particularly useful. The ability to compare actuals against prior periods or forecasts, flag material variances, and add commentary directly within the system makes analysis faster and more consistent. This has helped ensure that key drivers are clearly understood and communicated.

Overall, the software has made the month-end close process more efficient, transparent, and controlled. It has reduced manual effort, improved collaboration across the finance team, and provided better insight into financial results. It is a strong tool for organizations looking to enhance their close, reconciliation, and financial analysis processes.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I wish there was a way to compare year-over-year variances, as this would help me track my financial progress more effectively.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I appreciate most is the convenience of having all the information related to month-end close and financial variance analysis consolidated in a single software. Tracking whether all reconciliations are complete and managing commentary on variance analysis in an Excel file can be very time-consuming. Numeric streamlines these processes, making it much more efficient to complete these tasks.

  ### 4. Overall, Numeric assisted in streamlining our close process.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has been a great tool for our company. It allows us to track our monthly close process and provides real-time updates to target dates and compares stats to the prior month. The team was able to either upload individual close checklists or enter manually, all which could be edited at any point. Different permissions could be set for specific team members. All the filtering options (e.g. by subsidiary, category, frequency, preparer/reviewer, etc.) is very easy to change between different views. Using Numeric shortened our close from 9 to 6 days. We've been able to collaborate more effectively by seeing which tasks have dependencies. It notifies us and tracks all the monthly journal entries so that they are approved timely, also giving us the option to save comments/upload files in the tasks during the review process. Not only did Numeric help improve our close process, it also helped streamline our post-close tasks allowing us to meet reporting deadlines. Overall, Numeric assisted in streamlining our close process and would recommend!

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Can't delete categories once they've been created, even as an admin.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing the team to collaborate more therefore shortening our close.

  ### 5. Numeric gives structure, clarity and better collaboration for the accounting team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emelie R. | Head of Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has been a great support for our small finance team (5 members) and the way we structure our accounting work, especially in our closings. It brings clarity and momentum to recurring processes like month-end close by combining structure, transparency, and collaboration in one place.
The platform makes it easy to understand what needs to be done, in what order, and how different tasks are connected. This creates a shared way of working within the team and helps everyone stay aligned, focused, and accountable.
Numeric doesn’t just help you get things done, it helps you work smarter as a finance team. It’s an intuitive and motivating tool that supports collaboration, improves visibility, and makes complex processes feel manageable. We would highly recommend it to other finance departments looking to build scalable, well-structured finance operations.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

It would be helpful to have a standard setup for finance departments to get started and begin their work more easily.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric solves the problem of unstructured and hard-to-manage finance processes in excel by bringing clarity, structure, and transparency to recurring workflows. It helps the team understand what needs to be done, how tasks are connected, and who owns what.
This has improved collaboration, made processes more predictable, and allowed us to focus more on quality and insights rather than coordination.

  ### 6. Easy to Use, Quick Implementation, and Our Primary Source of Truth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

What we love about Numeric is how easy it is to use and how accessible it is for our entire team. Numeric’s ability to be implemented in less than a month allowed for a seamless transition into the platform, and it has now become our primary source of truth for tracking the status of our close process.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

There aren’t many downsides to Numeric, but one improvement I’d like to see is the ability to insert screenshots and key data points directly within a Numeric month-end task. That would make it easier for teams to access the close process and step in smoothly when they’re filling in for other team members.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric is helping us stay organized and efficient throughout the month-end close process, while also ensuring the right month-end tasks are completed on time. In our organization, many month-end activities can’t begin until other tasks are finished, so Numeric has been especially beneficial by making it easy to see task progress and confirm when dependencies have been completed.

  ### 7. Seamless Month-End Close with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I like Numeric's ease of use and how it helps in organizing tasks, reviewing, reconciling GL accounts, and completing flux analysis efficiently. The process to review during month-end close is smooth, and tracking progress is easy, as I can compare it to the prior month. The customer support is good, especially in addressing any questions or informing us about updates, particularly with the Slack integration. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I think it would be helpful to have a way to connect with budget tools so we can compare budgeted to actual.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Numeric makes month-end close easy by organizing tasks, reviewing, reconciling GL accounts, and completing flux analysis. It is easy to use and track progress, comparing to prior months smoothly.

  ### 8. Accelerated Close Process with Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitchel S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I like a lot of things about Numeric. It has reduced our monthly close process by 2 days, allowing us to review our financials in detail and create customized reports for visualizing our P&L data to perform flux analysis. The dashboards are live, offering more visibility than Excel, and the whole team can view month-over-month changes and our comments all in one place. The system is super fast and reliable, syncing changes from NetSuite within minutes, which allows us to address comments or concerns quickly. I also appreciate the top-notch customer support team, as they are extremely knowledgeable and respond to our questions and concerns very quickly. The initial setup of Numeric was incredibly easy and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

For flux analysis, it would be great if we could sync other fields from our ERP system to Numeric for more granular reporting. Having unique contract IDs and product code fields sync over would enhance our revenue close process.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric speeds up our financial close by 2 days, enhances our review efficiency, and improves financial reliability. It offers detailed financial analysis and live dashboards for team access and better visibility compared to Excel.

  ### 9. Effortlessly Streamlined Our Monthly Close

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I love Numeric. I really like the overview tab, which reflects the daily tasks to be completed. I love checklists and I feel accomplished when I hit the submit button. I really like that if a reconciliation or account has been signed off on and something changes, Numeric will show you what changed and highlight it. It has made our monthly close a much smoother process as all items for our close are in the checklist and nothing is forgotten about.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

There aren't too many things I would change about Numeric. One thing I would like is in the flux analysis, while I am able to view the journal entry or bill/invoice, it would be especially helpful if you could click on the JE or the invoice and it would link to NetSuite. This way instead of toggling between two screens you could click on the JE and in a new tab, the JE would be reflected in NetSuite. It would also be helpful in the flux analysis to have one variance for the month over month comparison vs. for every transaction in each month. This makes it slightly confusing when looking what changed month over month and why.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric makes our close process smoother by handling issues like account flow to P&L and expense discrepancies. I love the daily task overview and checklists, which ensure nothing is forgotten, streamlining our monthly close.

  ### 10. Finally a software which delivers on what you were sold

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

We were fully up and running within weeks and immediately reduced our close by two days (from Day 10 to Day 8). We now review financials in real time during close, rather than waiting for the majority of entries to be booked. Manual data extraction from NetSuite and vendor-based pivoting are no longer required.

The system performs exceptionally well—fast, reliable, and bug-free—with transactions syncing within minutes.

The customer support team is exceptional and consistently addresses questions within hours.

The entire team has embraced the platform and often jokes about how challenging close used to be before Numeric. From my perspective, it’s an A+ experience, and I’m excited to see what features are added next.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

For flux analysis, it would be valuable to have the ability to define custom comparison periods—for example, comparing September 2025 to September 2024. Currently, comparisons are limited to month-over-month only.

For tasks, adding support for custom recurring dates would be very helpful. For instance, tax deliverables due annually on March 15, 2025. At present, the “annual” option applies only to calendar-year recurrence rather than being tied to a specific date.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accelerating our financial close, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financials, and documenting our internal controls, among other benefits.

  ### 11. Essential Checklist Software to Enhance Our Month End Close Process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felicia .

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I love that Numeric has all of our tasks in one place, and I can easily look at it each day to see where we are in the close process. It's extremely valuable during our month end close because we have a daily meeting with the accounting team to ensure we are on track. This feature is essential to our process. I also like that I can follow up with employees who haven't submitted their tasks that are due.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I haven't really found anything right now except maybe if there was a way if we want to add a task for multiple entities within our organization, that we could do that all at once. Instead of having to add each task individually for each entity.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric helps us track all tasks for month-end close, ensuring we don't miss anything. It shows completion percentages, aiding in daily meetings. I love having all tasks in one place to check daily progress and follow-up on pending tasks, making it essential for our process.

  ### 12. Numeric’s AI Tools Streamline Month-End Close Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney F. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric is a very helpful tool and has really streamlined our month end close tracking and processes. My favorite thing about Numeric is the AI flux analysis tool which helps keep our analytics organized and makes the processes quicker and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I don't really have anything that I dislike about Numeric. As a newer product there are enhancements that would be great to see which the team has been making over the last year we have been using the product. The team is open to feedback and I have seen several of my requests incorporated into the platform.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric is helping to solve keeping our accounts reconciled, analytics properly prepared and reviewed. This is benefitting us by ensuring all of the right individuals have the relevant visibility into the month-end close and changes in accounts period over period.

  ### 13. Streamlines Reconciliations and Month End Review with Quick Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mira V.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I love that you can easily input reconciliation sources that roll over periods and automatically submit. Saving time month over month is a huge benefit since reconciliations are able to roll over without any manual intervention. The integration with QuickBooks is also a plus. Additionally, setting it up didn't take long, which was convenient.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I would love a feature that allows you to reconcile to a date other than just the end of the month. This would be especially helpful for reconciling credit card statements that usually end on other days of the month.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric simplifies monthly reconciliations, tracks task lists, and cleans up month-end data efficiently. It lets us input reconciliation sources that roll over automatically, saving time and minimizing manual intervention.

  ### 14. Powerful AI-Driven Analytics, Needs Smoother Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janice C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I like the flux analysis and AI explanations that Numeric offers. It's really helpful that we no longer need to create a flux analysis manually on an Excel sheet. Team members can easily fill in their explanation after booking their entries, and the AI can help with explaining past and current trends.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I dislike the manual sync process under Manager Sources and the slowness when scrolling through the reconciliation page. There is a learning curve when using the Numeric lead sheet and syncing.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric helps my team understand tasks and deadlines, provides analysis, and flags areas for review. It automates flux analysis, saving us from manual Excel work, and uses AI for trend explanations.

  ### 15. Effortless Financial Reporting, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I really appreciate how Numeric consolidates all of our reporting tasks and shows the segregation of duties. I find it incredibly useful for a streamlined review of key Balance Sheet accounts for both preparers and reviewers. I'm a big fan of the reconciliation tool; it allows me to dig into key accounts and makes the review process easier. The initial setup was simple, and their team is incredible.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I think their flux tool can be improved, I don't want generic explanations but that is difficult if the only data being fed in is via Netsuite. I'd like Numeric to be able to generate our monthly management financial package so we can stop creating and living in Excel.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric consolidates our reporting tasks, shows duty segregation, and enables a streamlined review of key Balance Sheet accounts. I appreciate the reconciliation tool as it enhances the review process, allowing me to dig into key accounts more easily.

  ### 16. Simple Task Management with Room for Feature Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben O. | Financial Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Simplicity. Easy to create tasks, assign team members, review their work and track progress to month end completion. We use it every month as well as a year end checklist.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Very little. I do have a couple of feature suggestions. It would be helpful if the system required a file upload or a web link when marking a task as completed. Additionally, it would be useful to have the option to hide or re-assign tasks that are blocked for the month when a team member is away.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarity of ownership and a central source for work performed without a messy spreadsheet.

  ### 17. User-Friendly Free Month-End Close Tool with Functional UI & UX! And AI!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I really enjoy using Numeric because it provides a great UI and has a functional UX. It's way better than using a manual Excel sheet for tracking each period's close task, and best of all, it's free! The initial setup was as easy as 1, 2, 3, which made getting started a breeze. Additionally, the workflows and customization features are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

The free version, of course, comes with some functionality limitations. All users unfortunately have admin permissions.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric is way better than manual Excel sheets for tracking each period's close task.

  ### 18. Intuitive Checklist and Timeline Comparison Make Planning a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan P. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

The checklist format is intuitive and it's easy to switch between months and compare timelines / level of support / etc.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Small complaint, but I wish the OOO calendar feature was more built-out and supported holidays not tied to specific dates!

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeding up month-end close / making sure everyone knows what their responsibilities are.

  ### 19. Effortless Setup, Perfect for Month-End Tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ally D.

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I appreciate how easy it is to set up Numeric using a CSV export or import, making the transition seamless. I love that it is tailored specifically for accounting and bookkeeping, especially for month-end tasks, which made it a better fit for us compared to our previous task management tool, Asana. This focus allows me to clearly mark when tasks are completed, reviewed, and helps in reviewing our progress at month's end against previous months. The utility of Numeric in efficiently handling task reviews and completion is particularly beneficial for my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Nothing

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Numeric to mark task completion and review month-end progress, comparing it to past months, improving our accounting and bookkeeping process.

  ### 20. Intuitive UI and Streamlined Close Checklists Make Close Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Its close checklist and reconciliations. Great UI, easy to use, easy to refine.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I would love to see more capabilities for easily tracking tasks outside of close timelines, such as reporting and payroll, and more granular control around permissions.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed us to get everyone in the wider finance org using one tool. The easy to use UI and the functionality allowed us to convince teams outside of accounting to get into the tool which has streamlined our close efforts.

  ### 21. Accounting Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

The UI is easy to follow and I enjoy the live filters and sorts as you click through options. I also enjoy the linking to ERP Journal Entries and the Checklist module, makes finding historic info much faster.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Sometimes it takes a while to load data. This is likely due to my company having large volumes however. So now everyone will experience this.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is it allowing the team full transparency on what everyone is working on. It is easier to assign review comments to the team and provide a clean audit trail on changes and review evidence.

  ### 22. User-Friendly, Integrates Smoothly with Netsuite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I find Numeric very user-friendly and dynamic, with AI functionality across different key features. It was also very easy for my team to set up.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

sometimes the website times out

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric houses our close checklist, flux analysis, and reconciliations prep and review evidence, making these processes easier to manage.

  ### 23. Keeps Our Team Organized and Tracks Month-End Progress Easily

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Easy to use, keeps the team organised. Really like seeing the progression on month-end through the month.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Paying extra for features before you are able to test them

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Managing work-load - can see what is causing slow down at month-end
- can split month-end tasks evenly across team members based on skill
- easy review process
- can view where month-end process is at any point without the need to chase the team

  ### 24. Automation and innovation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

The automation and innovation. It’s really excited to see consistent updates and new features added to the software.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

There are some bugs when things get released or the platform can get slow sometimes.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized checklist, automated reconciliations, and easy AI started fluxes that reduce time spent.

  ### 25. The improvements the Numeric team has been rolling out regularly continue to impress me.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric helped my team get organized quickly and easily. The implementation was painless, especially compared to other tools. We were up and running in a day, and our team grew with the product.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

While Numeric is a tool that helps us confidently close in an organized fashion, they have not yet rolled out the tools to help us move faster and automate tasks

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric has helped us organize and adequately document our close, adding visibility to tasks and timing. All of which have helped us close our books more confidently.

  ### 26. Numeric feels really modern and easy to use interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna L. | Accounting Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has modern look to an accounting close management system. It is very easy to learn as a new user, it makes sense intuitively. I have previously used Blackline and Numeric presents the needed information in a simple format. Also the team is very responsive to meetings, teaching us anything new in Numeric, teaching us how to maximize Numeric's usesm, and listening to any suggestions. Numeric is able to pull information from NetSuite seamlessly and you can create your own report from it (similar to a Saved Search but easier to do in Numeric) and also you can create rules to read your transactions and alert you if any is off (Large transactions, items booked to certain accounts).

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

It is a newer player to market so there were some growing pains (e.g. speed at refreshing NetSuite) but we are able to communicate any concerns to Numeric and it is taken care of quickly.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to track our monthly close checklist in an excel and have to roll it forward each month. It doesn't alert you if anything is behind or accidentally deleted. We also used to have so many separate spreadsheets to house our account reconciliations and having to download our account balances from NetSuite monthly (sometimes multiple times a month if we make adjusting entries) to an excel to perform account reconciliations.

  ### 27. Numeric is a reliable solution that helps our team streamline our month-end processes.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric is a perfect tool to help me stay organized and be on top of my end-of-month tasks. With the easy view and functionality, it’s been a breeze using Numeric and has saved valuable time. It's always satisfying to watch my progress on my dashboard and see how I track the end-of-month closure and how everyone else on my team is doing. It’s also great that you can save all important notes, references, and anything else related to my assigned task. It is easy to search or filter for anything you are looking for in Numeric and, overall, very user-friendly. Numeric now is a tool in our team that we can't do month-end without.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I can only think of a little as I generally find all working for what we need as a team.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely keeping track of the tasks that must be completed for the month-end closure and streamlining processes. Using Numeric, you can't miss anything because tasks assigned monthly will give the team an overview of what needs to be done before a specific time.

  ### 28. Numeric is a Controller's best friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Guaranteed that Numeric will reduce your month close by at least 1 day, if not more. After using Numeric for just one month, our team was able to find what was causing friction in our close cycle and tackle those items head on. It's great having real time visibility on how month close is tracking and what items require immediate attention. Numeric just makes organization so easy.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Seriously I have nothing to complain about.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real time visibility: Before it was difficult to estimate how a close was tracking. Now it is super clear and insightful to compare to prior months.
Creating accountability: The checklist is really dynamic and love the ability to assign different tasks to different team members. You can redelegate tasks quickly to balance out workloads
Organization: We've never been more organized with our month close workflow. You can link worksheets, links, references, etc. so that you don't have to dig around folders anymore

  ### 29. Immensely useful features delivered simply

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I love Numeric. One of the most important roles it plays for us is centralising checklists, team visibility, sheet linking and accounts reconciliation. Plus, incoming features on account reconciliation within numeric means we really will be able to ditch out the spreadsheets - Numeric will be pulling live transaction data from the accounts package, telling you that your recs need updating! Gamechanging!

To top it off the checklisting features are completely free, its a no brainer - I honestly wish this tool existed 10 years ago.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

So far I havnt really seen anything I dont like.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us central view on financial close and who in the team is doing what. It is also a repository of process and links to all the working files we use. I've place Numeric in 2 companies, and close times have reduced.

  ### 30. Good bye Excel, hello Numeric

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

First off I am only using the Essentials tier of Numeric, so just have our close checklist imported into the system and using to track the flow of completing of accounting close tasks--which is working great! It is much of an improvement to have our close checklist in an online application. Tasks are grouped under headers which makes it much easier to view. There is an overview screen that shows you which tasks of yours are due/past due, which is a quick and great way to see what is priority and what you should be tackling at any given moment. When adding tasks, you can make them monthly, quaterly, or yearly tasks, and Numeric will only show the tasks for that period if they pertain to that period--so you wont have to manually filter out yearly or quarterly tasks if you're not working on a quarter/year end period. They automatically take into consideration holidays when calculating and displaying the due date. There is also automatic emails you can set up to go out on certain close days, like for reminding department heads to code their expense transactions and upload receipts. There is also some super helpful AI bots like a GAAP Bot to help with acounting questions, policy bot to help you write out policies, and a tax bot to answer tax specific questions.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I wish the full tier was free ;). There are graphs and analytics that show what completion % you are in for the close and I find this to be very inaccurate and depicting the actual % completion done of the close. This is because this percentage assumes that each task is the same weight, which is never true. You can have one task that takes all day to complete, then have a task that takes 10 minutes to complete. I just ignore this % completetion and remind others to do the same.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better priority close task management flow
Automating recurring email reminders
Online collaborative close management platform

  ### 31. Best tool on the market to manage month-end close!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I love being able to see the full list of items that need to be completed throughout close, with the ability to add other users and assign them tasks. I also love the homepage dashboard showing you your progress against the scheduled completion dates and your previous month close - it's like a little game/competition to see if you can beat the schedule or your last close! It's also nice seeing your daily to do items (and if you work ahead, you can see what's coming up in the future on the next tab). If your close has many tasks to complete, it can be kind of overwhelming seeing a list of 100+ tasks, so having it broken out by day makes it seem much more manageable. The Slack integration, which provides you a daily overview of your current progress, has also been a nice feature. Gives the team a quick overview every morning of where we're at. Overall I absolutely love the product and can't wait to see it continue to evolve and grow over time! I can't see myself ever going back to a close without this tool now! We've managed to shave off almost a day (which is a huge win for us) solely thanks to this tool!

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I honestly don't have anything to say here. The only small thing I would have liked to see is the ability to copy a task so you don't have to manually add a bunch of similar tasks manually (ex. if you have a task to complete a bank rec for bank account A, but you also have 10 other accounts to rec. I would have liked to be able to create that task and then click copy and just update the name or whatever). With that being said, the team at Numeric is always asking for feedback, so if there's ever something you don't like, they'll make an effort to hear your feedback and possibly add it to the platform.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all things close related living in one system makes it so much easier for all parties involved with close to come and see where we're at with close. Before implementing this tool, we lived in excel files, and team members relied on slacking individuals to get a progress update, or to know what's been done and what's still open. Now there's no need for that. This very simple tool, has now gotten us so much more organized, and we've already been able to shave off just about a day with this - and that's only with the free version. We're looking to implement the full suite of features in the coming months, which I think will allow us to shave another day off! I'd also love to call out the AI bots that you can ask questions to. We used the policy bot once to whip up a policy for our auditors, and we've asked the GAAP bot several questions that we've relied on when working with our auditors!

  ### 32. Best tool for month end close checklists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izzy M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric is valuable in providing the tools to be collaborative across teams and within the accounting and finance teams. It is the best tool for month end close checklists we have used to date. We have tried other task list management systems and this provides the most functionality specifically for this need. It allows for collaboration, date setting, progress tracking and ability to upload documents and share comments within the system. We have truly enjoyed using this to stay on top of all the month close requires for each client and their specific company needs.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

There are still functions that need to be built out but the support team is incredibly responsive and helpful until that time comes. I cannot wait for more functionality as they build out their product.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric allows my team to communicate seamlessly, track progress and all the nuances of each client for each month close. We are more efficient in our close time and able to ensure we don't miss anything in any given period.

  ### 33. Numeric enabled our team to more efficiently work through our month-end close process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinn S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric is most helpful as a project management tool. Our financial processes are complex but Numeric enables our team to work through tasks efficiently

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

No downsides noted with our team's expereince with Numeric

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric helps our team solve for timliness and accuracy of month-end close process

  ### 34. Its been great working with the Numeric team and we've found great value from their platform.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamis S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

The most helpful tool from Numeric so far is the use of their month-end checklist which helps our team stays organized and complete close tasks efficiently. As their tools continue to develop, we see great upside with their ability to reconcile our key accounts and assist with our monthly reporting. Great customer service.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

As a Quickbooks Online user, some of the tools and enhancements are not yet avaiable for complete usage. We look forward to some of the improvements made to add value to our closing and reporting.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effieciency of financial close procedures.

  ### 35. Using Numeric has made organizing month-end tasks seamless!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy J. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I love how easy it is to use Numeric. You can see all of your tasks in one place, quickly check items off, and plan ahead what you still have remaining. I am coming from using a shared Google sheet to track our month-end duties, and using Numeric is 1000% better.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

At this time, there is nothing I dislike about Numeric. For what we use it for, it works perfectly! Absolutely no complaints.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric helps us solve the issue with organizing and keeping track of month-end duties. It allows me to be more productive by being able to have all my duties in one place, easily visible to all other stakeholders.

  ### 36. New kid on the block - Great Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has a ton of great product offerings, from a basic close checklist all the way to advanced close management, balance sheet recs, and even an AI feature (that is not gimmicky at all). The team has made it easy to onboard, and their product is easy for my team and me to learn and use. Their integration to Netsuite was smooth and easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I haven't come across much that I don't like about the tool. The company is still young, so there are some slight growing pains, but nothing that I would say is an actual con.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Numeric, we were using a mixture of Google Sheets and Excel to manage our month-end close process, review documentation and balance sheet recons. We have been using Numeric for about a quarter now, and tracking close is so much easier, faster and better documented. I no longer have to worry about audit documentation related to close checklists, and manually calculating how recons, close timelines, etc.

  ### 37. Numeric helps me easily organize the month-end close process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has a great checklist feature to make monthly close an organized and trackable process across teams. I've been able to reduce my use of other external tools to keep track of monthly closing procedures.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Sometimes I have a difficult time clicking through to the checklist feature of the app. After I get through, I see that it is actually a fairly intuitive click through process, but for some reason I don't get there quickly enough every month I get into the app.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our monthly close process has historically lived in written form only. Numeric organizes the process of close in a collaborative way so that everyone on the team can view the progress of close.

  ### 38. Take Control of Your Month-End Close

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Within one month-end close it was apparent to myself and the team that we now had a very useful piece of software.

I'd previously tried to control the period end via a series of spreadsheets for my team and had wasted a lot of time over the years, updating these spreadsheets and redesigning them as circumstances changed. This situation became unmanageable as our group of companies grew and the number of businesses I was expected to report on every month, went from three to seven.

Numeric allowed me to get a better handle on things. Suddenly, I had a piece of software that I'd spent years inadvertently trying to replicate. I wished I'd found it sooner.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

There's not really anything that I've found to dislike.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility of month-end close workload by company by user, which is invaluable. Team quickly came to value the software and there were no teething issues using it as it's easy to pick-up and learn. I now feel that we're in control of the month-end close process rather than the oter way around.

There are elements of the software that we're not using yet but that's solely down to our circumstances. We're planning on using the other parts of the software very soon i.e. Reconcile (control accounts) and Flux Analysis, which should both be very useful also.

  ### 39. Revolutionizing through innovation and integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has been an absolue game changer for our team. They have been consistently improving and adding features that I feel have made a positive impact on my tasks. For example, with the AI integration I found to be helpful when working on our monthly variance analysis. It saves you time from having to do the research all over again! Another positive experience I've had that truly sets them apart from other companies is their customer service. Whenever we've encountered issues or had questions, they've been remarkably quick to respond, particularly Anthony. The personalized support I've received has made us feel valued as a customer.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Although I am happy with the AI integration, I feel that there are certain areas where the explanations can improve on. Other than that, I think we are still exploring and finding out how to best utilize all of Numeric's functions that they are consistently pushing out.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at the moment.

  ### 40. A much better month-end close experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

The best thing about using Numeric for month-end close is the efficiencies that the tool drives. Previously, my team maintained a close checklist in a Google sheet and spent a lot of time communicating between teammates to inform them that a task was completed or whether something needed to be revised. Now, we manage this seamlessly with the Numeric tool's Slack integration.

The tool is also very scaleable for when my team expands. Any changes to our checklist are very easy to make since the interface is user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I have no complaints with Numeric. I wish I discovered it sooner! The only suggestion I have is to maybe consider the option for a Slack notification when a task is approved. There's notifications for comments and rejections, but it would be nice for teammates to know that their task was signed off.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we didn't have a consolidated source of truth for month-end close status, and communication was decentralized across the team. Now, my team knows they can always refer to our checklist in Numeric in order to push the process forward.

  ### 41. no more manual checklists

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

a. ability to roll forward to new month
b. lock down old month and workpapers/links in the prior month
c. ability to add or modify preparers and reviewer as needed, tag certain members for callouts
d. ability to add comments, links, and workpapers within each task
e. ability to filter by Preparer/Reviewer to reduce the noise
f. ability to note entity for which task is related to (if you have subsidiaries/multiple companies this is helpful)

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

some improvements that I'd like to see are:
a. ability to alphabetize tasks instead of by section
b. ability to notate task as WIP instead of just Submit
c. better integration or links to the relevant section or JE in the accounting software

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminated use of Excel checklist and there is ability to track when and who is responsible for what. This increases transparency and eventually helpful when going for an audit.

  ### 42. Numeric Essentials does what it claims it can do

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daspal G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Since using Numeric Essentials, we have seen the visibility around our month end close tasks increase greatly and allow us to track to our estimated close date.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

As Numeric Essentials sits separate to our actual month end tasks, there is occassions where we forget to update task completion in the software which in turn does not give a correct reflection of where the month is at.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us visibility into the month end process and being able to track if we will close within our expected deadlines. The AI assistant also helps provide information around any technical or tax queries we may have.

  ### 43. Amazing Tool and Value!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sylvia W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

Numeric has been incredibly helpful for my monthly accounting close and recurring task tracking. The AI tool within Numeric has been particularly valuable for my accounting research needs. Its efficiency in streamlining financial processes and providing accurate information has been a game-changer. Numeric's user-friendly interface, comprehensive features, and AI tool make it an exceptional tool for accounting professionals.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

I havent found anything that I dislike. I would say that they are a rapidly growing company so there are some features that they dont have yet, but they are constantly putting out new updates and adding features.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Numeric solves the challenges of streamlining the accounting close process, tracking recurring tasks, and providing efficient accounting research capabilities. By addressing these problems, Numeric ultimately benefits you by improving efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in your accounting workflows.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

Nothing currently. Everything so far has been great.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Close stakeholders have visibility now to where the finance team is during the close process. Centralized location for questions and review notes helps speed up close and tracking down answers.

  ### 45. Simple but effective close tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgina D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Numeric?**

I really like how easy it is to use. It's incredibly intuitive and you need very little training to get up and running. I feel so much better equipped to stay on top of my close process.

In addition, everyone I've dealt with at Numeric has been super helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Numeric?**

The only thing I disliked about the Numeric close checklist was that it didn't provide email updates when tasks are ready for review (or overdue) but I have discovered that update is coming plus with the Slack integration it's actually not all that necessary to have email updates anyway.

**What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to monitor all the tasks required to get through our monthly close process and ensure we are on track.

  ### 46. Numeric x Medely
