In some instances, the platform failed to complete an assessment leading to partial results/reports. However, that gets resolved after running two or three more assessments. NowSecure provides detailed reports and actionable insights that empowers my security team to make informed decisions and prioritize security measures effectively, leading to a more robust and secure mobile application ecosystem. NowSecure is a powerful tool, but it has limitations. Testing can be complex and very seldom it requires manual intervention. Every time we release an app, we perform an assessment using NowSecure against common application vulnerabilities. Evaluation provides us independent insight into our application and any risk areas, so we can mitigate accordingly. We are more confident about app security than before. I used mobile secure in previous organization and have also seen several others using the tool. It has very good scanning rules to detect vulnerabilities in mobile applications. We set up NowSecure and integrated it into our CI/CD platform. Once integrated into Jenkins, the process is completely hands-off. We're notified of all warnings, informational messages, and all errors from low to critical. We also have an automated integration with Jira, which creates tickets for us as needed. We have been using NowSecure to scan our APK / IPA files, and it has been giving us phenomenal results. NowSecure follows industry standards while performing its SAST / DAST scans. The platform overall is straightforward and very easy to use. The best part of NowSecure is the support that the support team provides. The responses are quick, helpful and up to the point. NowSecure can easily integrate with platforms such as Bitrise or Github actions. If you want to shift left your security testing,NowSecure could be the answer. By using Nowsecure and our build platform we have managed to add security tests to our CI/CD model. We scan nightly our master branch, and the dev teams fix any security issues within the sprint.
