The relational database model is what makes it stick for us. I can link a client meeting note directly to the roadmap card it produced, and that card to the technical documentation for the corresponding automation. That traceability between "the client asked for this" and "the developer shipped it" is something I'd previously only seen with Jira plus Confluence plus a spreadsheet, and with far more administrative overhead.

I wanted to build a space in Notion where I can handle all my finances and trading related stuff. The databases are great for doing this and though the learning curve can be a bit steep Notion AI helps a lot by providing ideas or doing things for you. I like that it integrates with my Gmail, so I don't have to leave Notion if I want to check my e-mails or look at my calendar. The UIl looks great and it's easy to make everything look pretty and organized with all the icons and colour coding it provides. It always feels snappy I didn't have any performance related issues. Our company implemented Notion about 10 months ago, and since then it has become a great repository for storing information in one accessible place. This consolidation has saved hours. Before Notion, looking for an update or the latest release notes meant going through several avenues before finding what I needed. Now, a simple prompt in Notion AI on the subject provides the details in a matter of minutes.

Notion is integrated across our company channels and file-sharing repositories, which makes it quick and easy to find updates or get answers to questions, simply by using the AI bot. Overall, performance is smooth and the platform is easy to use, with a UI experience that works well. It also allows for customization and privacy when needed.

I haven’t used the support feature, and Onboarding was handled internally by one of our product managers, which was enough to start maximizing our use of Notion, and setting Notion up was super simple and allowed me to start using is immediately without massive learning curve/ Onboarding process was smooth and easy to follow

I really love working with Notion!

It offers a great space to collaborate with colleagues, and it’s also a fantastic way to keep personal pages on a wide variety of subjects. The ability to customize everything to your liking is a huge bonus. I also really appreciate the companion mobile app, which syncs instantly and lets you keep all your notes with you at all times. Both the mobile and desktop apps work great, and I’ve never had any issues.

It’s incredible what you can do with the free account. I was a power user on the standard free plan, and I couldn’t be happier. When they introduced the subscription with AI agents, I was genuinely excited and signed up. It has been especially helpful for my meeting notes, thanks to having different AI chatbot agents that can use the context of my Notion pages, along with overall writing suggestions and support.

Onboarding is incredibly easy, and it really can be as simple as you want it to be. There’s also great support from both the community and the Notion team, including ready-made templates that help you get started and then customize everything to your liking.

Notion pages also integrate with other third-party AI LLMs (like Claude and ChatGPT, etc.), which lets you bring the power of those larger platforms into your workflow and support your pages as you work seamlessly.

Even though Notion keeps working on speed and performance, I still often get the sense that pages are loading from the server rather than opening natively on the device.

At times it’s a pain to work on long documents, especially on mobile, because of the block-based approach. Dragging, holding, and rearranging blocks can get in the way of smooth text editing. For example, I’d like to be able to work with text more like a Word document, instead of always having to deal with the block framework.

I also feel that the restrictions around open-source and third-party tools limit users to a more personal, closed experience.
