## Notion Reviews
 ### 1. Notion’s Flexibility Makes It a Powerful Single Source of Truth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is how flexible and customisable it is. I can use it for everything from task management and project tracking to writing policies, procedures, and team documentation, all in one place. I also appreciate being able to build databases, dashboards, and templates that fit the way our team works. That makes it easier to stay organised, collaborate with others, and quickly find the information I need. Having a single source of truth for both projects and documentation has made my workflow much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest downside is the initial learning curve. Because Notion is so flexible, it can take some time to understand the best way to structure workspaces, databases, and automations. I also wish some features were a little more intuitive, as it can occasionally take a few clicks to find settings or configure pages the way I want. Once everything is set up, though, it’s a very powerful and easy-to-use platform.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of having information scattered across multiple tools. We use it as a central hub for task management, project tracking, and documenting policies and procedures, so everything is organised and easy to find. This has improved collaboration, made it easier to keep documentation up to date, and helped ensure everyone is working from the latest information. For me, it saves time, keeps my workload organised, and makes managing projects and daily tasks much more efficient.

 ### 2. Flexible, User-Friendly Platform with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CARL M. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The flexibility to build what we want as a business and produce varied content depending on the needs of the users/. The integration through zapier, mcp, and now Microsoft add as a lot to the business at a pretty good price point.
Users of varying skills have been able to adapt and make use of the system through great UI

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The custom agent pricing could be better and makes budgeting and the decision on how to role out harder, even though the AI itself is great.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling collaboration within the senior team at a great level as well as enabling the use of AI (Generally and in notion build) to personalise the experience

 ### 3. Customizable and Essential for Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Génésia G. | Professeure d'Anglais, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion can do everything in one place, which is super helpful as I juggle multiple devices like my phone, iPad, MacBook, and iMac. The customization options are fantastic, letting me solve various organizational challenges I face in my daily life as a graphic designer. I really enjoy the feature of interconnecting databases which helps me manage tasks, track progress, and link important aspects like client details and meeting notes easily. The search bar in Notion is incredibly useful for finding things quickly. I also appreciate how Notion listens to user feedback and improves the platform based on user requests. Lastly, the setup was always super easy, and I never worry about getting stuck. There are so many creators and templates available that make customization even more engaging.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Maybe it's how fast it is on mobile devices. Also, handling multiple calendars in Notion can be challenging. I have so many calendars for different things like personal tasks, freelance tasks, events, and workouts, and it's tough to oversee everything at a glance. Sometimes, it feels hard to juggle all these things together and view them all at once in Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to manage personal projects, organize tasks, and keep notes. Its customizability helps solve every organizational problem I encounter. Interconnecting databases allow me to link tasks, check progress, and manage client interactions efficiently.

 ### 4. Super Organized Docs and Powerful AI Search That Finds Answers Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that it's super organized, and I love the AI feature. I think they're well above anyone else, where you can just go and talk to the AI to build anything you want or find anything you want. You can have a thousand different documents, everything organized, and then the AI just gets it for you. You can even ask specific questions like, "Hey, what am I supposed to do in this specific case?" The AI will find the information, whereas in the past, that would make 300 SOPs. It works, but then you have to remember, "Well, wait, where is that information?" and go there and spend five minutes. Especially for team members, they would not even know where it was, so they would look at a separate folder or separate documents, where they might have to read through the whole document. It was a nightmare.

Now you could just ask AI. Not only is everything organized, you don't have to organize it. AI will organize it for you, but also AI can find specific information for you. In general, what you do is you just go to AI and say, "Hey, give me this information here." I will tell you and add a link to the document if you want to and actually read more details about it. It's just so easy.

Also, I love the databases. You have so many options to use it as kind of a project management, idea management, to-do list, where you can put things as done and dates, and really organize everything very easily.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think only the price is a downside. I feel like the AI is a bit expensive at $20 a month. It would be more reasonable at maybe $5 or $8 a month, at least for light users. It feels like if you pay $20 a month, you have a lot of usage, and if you pay less than that, you have no usage at all. Maybe some kind of balance there.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all the documents from my company in one place and having people be able to just ask AI is such a huge time saver. They don't have to slack anyone to ask the question. They can actually just ask Notion AI. That's huge.

The other thing is also for me, for my personal productivity. I'm now putting my tasks inside of Notion because we use ClickUp. If I'm on my phone, I have an idea or I know I want to prioritize something, it's much easier for me to go into Notion, take a quick note. I've made a database of things I need to do this week, next week, and today, and it's just simple.

I also build them in ClickUp, but at least when I'm on my phone, I can put ideas in there. I can put priorities in there, and it helps me really stay organized without any effort.

I used to use Google Keep, but it's just not great because you can't provide details. You have a hundred notes. In Notion, with databases, it's so easy to classify everything. Ideas will live, and things that I actually want to do will live in the to-do list. I can just offload my mind, put everything in there, and then every day or every week, I can quickly review and change the status of things if there's an idea that I actually want to work on.

I don't have to put it somewhere else and think about it. In Google Keep, you would have to copy-paste somewhere else. It was just a drag, whereas in Notion, you just change a custom field, and that's it. It's great.

 ### 5. Essential tool for everyday work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary C. V. | IT & Digital Recruitment Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It is one of the tools I use in day-to-day management to document and track various projects and internal improvements. I find it easy to integrate with Slack and Google Drive. Also, now with artificial intelligence, you can ask the assistant anything, and the responses are usually very accurate.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

They do not have efficient management to obtain metrics and/or KPIs; therefore, it is not possible to centralize all the information there.

**Recommendations to others considering Notion:**

If you need to measure management, you will have to prepare to increase or use additional tools that complement the information obtained from Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing is to have organized and transparent documentation for the entire company. Daily management topics are covered with Notion, as long as metrics are not required.

 ### 6. Ultimate Customizability, Minor AI Drawbacks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for keeping notes, overviewing projects, collaborating with team members, building small websites, and managing my finances. It's basically everything I do life-structuring-wise. I really like its customizability; I can create almost everything. This aspect has improved a lot over the last few years. Notion adds value by giving me no incentive to move to another application as I can do anything within it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The AI functionality is still a bit troublesome. Having to pay extra for it demotivates me. I already pay for Claude and ChatGPT, so also having to pay for Notion AI doesn't really work. I'd rather see the possibility to log in to Claude within Notion to use my account there. The initial setup took some time, and I had to read a book about Notion to get started.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Notion helps in creating an overview of my projects efficiently. Its customizability means I can structure everything life-related in one place, from notes to team collaboration, without needing to switch apps.

 ### 7. Effortless Knowledge Sharing with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vandan G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really appreciate how Notion has helped me with documenting and sharing the knowledge base with my team. It's been great for building up tasks among us. I also like using Notion's AI, which can create tasks and assign them based on user activity. It helps with summarizing notes and managing documentation on a single page. Setting up workspaces and assigning tasks in Notion was extremely easy for us. Overall, it's been really structured and organized, and I have no complaints with Notion so far.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'd say the need of finding a document from 100s. When I'd forget what name I kept. But I'd say there's barely anything that i dislike about notion. It's being pretty good with integrations and thats what we used it for. Worked well every-time, No complains.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me document and share knowledge with my team and manage tasks efficiently. I've also used Notion AI for summarizing notes and assigning tasks based on user activity.

 ### 8. Perfect tool for hobbyists!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to track my movie and TV show watchlist, and I find it immensely helpful for organizing my watch history. I love that Notion is like an 'infinite canvas' where I can build and customize anything just the way I envision. Its cross-device compatibility lets me log movies or thoughts on my phone and reorganize later on my desktop, saving me so much time. The customization options are a huge plus, like adding banners, custom buttons, changing fonts, and linking pages. It's like an easily buildable ecosystem. The Notion AI is especially valuable, as it helps me create new pages on my watchlist and is integrated well into my workspace. It helps with cross-referencing old movies and finding new ones and even provides recommendations and web cross-references. Notion's setup was easy, and the onboarding feature was really helpful. I like Notion's help documentation and how easy it is to learn with Notion AI. Overall, it's really fun to use, and quite easy to pick up.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I've noticed that they've decreased the quotas like free blocks, which is not a big deal but it limits my ability to add more movies. I've had to create multiple workspaces to continue my movie list. It would be nice if they increased the amount of content I can add per page. Sometimes there are lagging issues, which I guess are expected since loading over a hundred movie posters can be demanding, but optimizing performance for situations like mine would be wonderful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love Notion as an 'infinite canvas' for customizable projects and instant cross-device note-taking. It boosts my creativity and AI integration enhances watchlist management. The main issues are decreased content quotas and performance lag with large pages. Increasing page content and optimizing performance would be helpful.

 ### 9. Customizable Workspace, Great for Technical Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Đặng T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the infinite customization that Notion offers, allowing me to build tailored databases, templates, and dashboards that fit my engineering workflows perfectly instead of conforming to rigid structures. I appreciate the all-in-one integration, where notes, tasks, documents, and databases come together in a cohesive ecosystem, eliminating the friction of switching between multiple apps. The clean and intuitive interface makes organizing complex technical specifications and large knowledge bases easy to navigate. I also find the intuitive template library very helpful; leveraging pre-built templates for task tracking and wikis allowed us to get started quickly without building everything from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that setting up advanced databases, relations, and customized dashboards in Notion comes with a steep learning curve, requiring a significant time investment that can slow down onboarding for team members. I also notice that the mobile app can occasionally feel sluggish or heavy, especially when loading large, data-intensive engineering pages and complex nested databases. Additionally, I'm frustrated with the limited offline functionality, as it makes it difficult to review or update extensive documentation reliably while on the go.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion centralizes my technical notes and project tracking, eliminating silos and scattered spreadsheets. It connects tasks, resources, and documentation, reducing context switching in engineering projects.

 ### 10. Total versatility: a single source of truth for product and documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I value most is versatility: you can model complex relational databases and at the same time use it as a knowledge base for product management. In our team, we use it both to track the status of features and discoveries and to document processes, which allows us to have a single source of truth without relying on multiple separate tools.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The initial learning curve is steep: for new users, understanding how to structure databases, relationships, and views takes time before becoming productive. Additionally, the AI module has a cost that, from the Finance area, is considered high in relation to the value it provides today, which makes it difficult to justify an expansion of AI licenses to the entire team.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we had everything spread out between Google Sheets and other scattered tools, which made it difficult to keep everything updated and connected. With Notion, we have everything in one place: discoveries, features, process documentation, all interlinked. It's much more dynamic than working with separate spreadsheets, and it allows us to see the real status of each initiative without having to look for information in five different places.

 ### 11. Effortless Meeting Management with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick D. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion for how easy it is to take notes on various topics. The ability to record meetings is invaluable because I can do it effortlessly on Notion regardless of the platform, be it Teams, Slack, or Zoom, without needing permission. This feature is super valuable for capturing audio that I'd otherwise struggle to record. Additionally, I really enjoy the AI assistant in Notion. It not only reads my notes and provides outputs but also helps structure the notes created within Notion. I appreciate how it aids in organizing my folders, enhancing my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Whenever i record a meeting the name that appear on the left hand side menu is when the meeting happened, not the name of the meeting .

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion makes it easy for me to record meetings without needing permission, which is great for Teams where I can't start recordings. I get transcriptions, define next steps, and send automatic messages. It's valuable to record meetings from any platform.

 ### 12. Incredible Time Saving with Notion AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariel S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion both for studying and working, and I love how I can divide it into sections based on my needs, such as university subjects or work tasks. What I highlight the most is Notion AI, whose transcription and summarization functionality is spectacular. Although there are some words it sometimes doesn't detect correctly, it is still very useful, especially because it can be used with computer or microphone audio. It saves me a lot of time that I would have to spend reading transcriptions, as the summaries are very accurate. Additionally, it is very flexible in the type of input it receives for transcription, which is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What sometimes caused me problems is that if the Meeting Notes functionality was set in Spanish, it sometimes gets reset by some Notion update and reconfigures itself in English. The problem with that is that after the transcription and summary are done, I can't change it to make it in Spanish. It would be good to improve that. I feel that the onboarding could be improved a bit for people who are not so accustomed to these types of complex tools, maybe having Notion AI help a bit to guide how to set up your workspace.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to have centralized information, make summaries of classes and meetings, and manage my tasks and calendar. Notion AI saves a lot of time by creating accurate summaries and quickly finding notes.

 ### 13. Transformative Tool for Organization with Minor Mobile Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthur S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion helps me organize my life, covering notifications, work, and personal aspects. I like the databases, and the fact that they continue to expand and have improved a lot over the years. They're really core to my work and beneficial for organizing projects and day-to-day workflows. Notion has always been good and is just getting better. I highly recommend Notion because it's a more robust platform compared to others like OneNote, and I wouldn't want to switch.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion could be a little buggy at times, especially with the mobile experience. I've been dealing with issues where if something is in a callout box or a sync box, and I try to highlight text, it won't let me. There's also a menu that comes up that won't allow me to copy and paste, which is challenging and forces me to use the desktop version more often.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me organize my life and work efficiently, acting like my brain on paper. The database feature organizes my workflow, but the mobile version can be buggy, limiting text highlighting and copying, which forces me to use the desktop version more often.

 ### 14. Notion Is My All-in-One Hub for Study, Projects, and Seamless AI Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for literally everything: organizing and creating adaptable study schedules for the MCAT, drafting and tracking job applications, organizing my sewing projects, creating inventory databases of fabrics/nail polish/veggie seeds, etc. Integrations with Google Calendar/Gmail and video conferencing platforms allow for seamless workflows and meeting transcripts. It is also one of the most cost-effective ways to access AI models like Claude (my favorite), ChatGPT, and Gemini. Being able to drag and drop or copy over photos and documents makes life so much easier. I have really enjoyed some of the downloadable AI instruction templates from the community (like the trip planning one). It has also improved my written work and overall AI fluency because of the accessible interface. It works quickly, and being able to have multiple chats running in parallel is a godsend when life is busy. I am the worst millennial when it comes to tech, but the user-friendly interface and the plethora of support videos and information available always reduce any friction that I naturally experience when learning new features or capabilities. I seriously talk about Notion to my friends and family all the time and sing its praises constantly.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish I had a referral code or discount code to give friends and family! Also, I wish I could generate photos using Gemini straight in Notion instead of having to go to Google to do so. I also find the credit system for AI agents to be prohibitively expensive, but I understand why that is , and it is not a huge deal for me and what I use Notion for.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning out and coordinating my job search, from creating a user-friendly and eye-pleasing dashboard to check and track where all of my applications are at (including application stage, drafted and submitted resumes, modifying my LaTeX template code that I use for my resume and cover letters, networking channels, etc)

The biggest use case is helping with self-accommodations for ADHD. I have severe ADHD, and while behavioral and prescription interventions help, Notion has been essential to helping me improve my executive functioning skills (like organization) and helping reduce unnecessary cognitive load so I can focus on what I actually need to be doing. I feel like I can honestly offload some of the cognitive/organizational tasks that I struggle with for the first time in my life. Notion has helped me create, modify, and track my progress towards personal goals (like studying for the MCAT and getting a new job following my layoff). It has provided me with the benefits of an ADHD coach + admin all rolled into one program (and at a fraction of the cost). I really wish this was available when I was in college as it would have helped so much!

 ### 15. Flexible Notion Pages and AI Meeting Notes That Fit Any Project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the ability to make notion fit to whatever functionality you need. I can construct a new page to fit any project that comes up and notion provides the options for that. I use the page within a page most often and it helps me track my networking. I use the AI meeting function to record conversations and take notes on the person.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like how excel does not integrate well. Copy and pasting from notion to excel isn't always the simplest and I will always need to use both so it would be helpful to have copy/paste be more seamless.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am highly organized, but I need a tool that can be as depthful as notion to keep up with me. Notion has solved the issue of my disorganization in networking. I needed something more sophisticated than just a list of people I had connected with, and with notion I was able to prepare my questions for the person, record the conversation, and write a follow up email all in one place.

 ### 16. Seamless Notion Integrations and Notion AI for Fast Dashboards and Writing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has a built-in integration that’s simple to use and doesn’t require any third-party apps. I can easily connect it to my messaging platform, where I can set up an automation to create a new database for me. I can also build a dashboard using Notion AI, and it’s very easy to write prompts. The graphs and tracking were clear, and I created everything in just minutes. Since our data is already in Notion, it can pull up a lot of things quickly. There’s also knowledge help that supports any questions I have. Overall, Notion offers a lot of features for organization and article writing, which helps us create articles and databases based on day to day performance. it's seamless.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

When writing articles, it's so hard to locate the shortcuts when to create indent or remove indent. How to align the text when you multiple headers. The writing page have lines and once you control all to select and maybe change the format, I have a hard time fixing the correct indentions.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using notion more on tracking billing issues, knowledge base and creating dashboard. Notion AI helps a lot when I have no time to search. Just one click and you will have the answer. It's also a great notepad fr personal tracking.

 ### 17. Project Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has become the central hub for our team. We use it to manage projects, document processes, track tasks, and keep everyone aligned on priorities. The databases, templates, and collaborative editing make it easy to standardize workflows and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It's significantly improved communication across teams by giving everyone a single source of truth, reducing back-and-forth and making it easier to stay organized as projects evolve.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest drawback is the initial learning curve. Because Notion is so customizable, it can feel overwhelming when you’re first getting started—especially if you’re building databases, templates, or more advanced workflows. It takes time to understand how everything connects and to set up a workspace that actually works well for you. That said, once you’ve invested that effort, the flexibility becomes one of its greatest strengths, and the platform starts to feel much more intuitive to use.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion has solved the challenge of keeping our team’s information, communication, and project documentation in one centralized place. Before we started using it, important details were often scattered across emails, chats, and separate documents, which made it hard to stay aligned. Now we have a single source of truth for meeting notes, SOPs, project tracking, and team updates. As a result, collaboration has improved, miscommunication has decreased, and it’s much easier to find what we need quickly—helping our team work more efficiently while staying focused on priorities.

 ### 18. Fantastic for Organizing College Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshvardhan P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for my college club projects and managing the Notion Crew - Adcet. I find it very easy to use, simple, and minimal. Anyone who is really ambitious about productivity would find it accessible. I like the table database and properties the most, and I think Notion AI is fantastic for creating databases and templates. Notion helps me handle club team members easily, manage my college club in one place, and access what my club members have done in a week easily. It simplifies the work access and submission process.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I noticed that Notion doesn't give off a corporate software vibe, which isn't a big deal for me, but I know many of my senior faculty members feel this way. It might be due to a generational gap. Also, it was a bit difficult to get settled on Notion initially, but with time, things improved.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion simplifies managing my college club, Notion Crew - Adcet. It streamlines team handling, offers easy access to work submissions, and helps track my syllabus and notes effectively from 11th and 12th grades.

 ### 19. Incredible User-Friendly Experience with Notion AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is very user-friendly. I can press almost anything and be able to change it to exactly how I want. The Notion AI is freaking awesome; it created an entire page for me. Notion gave me something that was incredible, very user-friendly, and easy to scroll around. It takes literally thirty seconds to build my whole customer experience page, recipe page, to-do list, and content calendar. It's so easy and builds the page that I need with such ease. It saves me so much time. I love how fast it is because I'm not spending time building pages or coding; I just tell it what I want, and it creates it for me. When I copy a link, it goes straight to it in a link form, and everything is just very intuitive. I love Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I guess I don't love the little emoji icons. I mean, that's something so small, though.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to centralize everything in one spot. It's super easy to create to-do lists and checklists. Notion AI saves me time by building pages quickly, like my customer experience and recipe pages, without coding.

 ### 20. Infinitely Customizable, Feature-Rich Tool with a Helpful Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fine Art | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

infinitely customizable, feels like the company really cares and is always rolling out new features. I think because so much of it is free, there are tons of free resources, reddit threads, chats, etc available online from people helping each other customize solutions, it's a great community. I haven't used the AI much, but it seems capable. I recommend this to all my small business owner and creative friends for organizing our lives in a customizable, visual way.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I didn't know that I had activated a free trial of AI until I received an email stating my trial had ended. Didn't actually get a chance to try it out. The calendar app is a wonderful idea, but does not work at all. It does not integrate with the calendars I select from my workspace, and can't pull in information. Also wish the calendar interface in general was simpler, would be nice to be able to type "Meeting 9am personal" and have it fill in the name, time, and category boxes, rather than having to select each one manually. Also the ability to show calendar items displayed in order of time. Lastly, I've tried for years to create the perfect clean, daily agenda, with many workarounds. I want a daily to-do-list agenda that pulls from a master to-do list, and allows different tasks each day, and knows what day it is so it can pre-fill tasks I've assigned to that day. currently, I have to do this all manually, or as a calendar, which isn't good visually/ doesn't allow me to check things off.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

one place for all my thoughts. reliable, quickly updates information across web and app, even when I made changes offline. I can note down any ideas, and know I'll have an organized place to find them later in notion.

 ### 21. Versatile and Shareable, But Needs Better Consolidated Views and Active Maintenance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the diverse use of it and the ability to share it easily across device and user. We utilize the calendar form of databases a lot and as a way to continuously document things.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion is not a task management tool and as such it's easy for systems that are not actively maintained to become irrelevant. Occasionally it can feel like too much of a blank canvas. I do wish it were easier to create consolidated views of several databases. Ex. I want to see everything that assigned to me in one view

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now it's main purpose for our marketing team is to be a rolodex of our marketing creative inventory with elevated tagging that makes filtering simple. Additionally we use it for our campaign calendar planning - it helps create sources of truth that avoid confusion amongst many teams

 ### 22. Essential, Yet Occasionally Laggy Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kandipalli A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love using Notion for my work since it solves all my day-to-day problems. I like creating complex pages and using filters with the help of Notion AI, which helps simplify any complex page into a simple structure. The ability to create any page without any coding knowledge is fantastic, and I can monitor everything on a single page. Notion's update for recording meeting notes helps me understand meetings better. Monitoring targets and timers is easy, and the structure of Notion lets me create pages in one second. I appreciate that I can monitor things my way, like using graphs and charts, and the easy initial setup makes it convenient to create work-related tickets in real time. Notion has become an integral part of my work life, helping me work faster and more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that Notion can't handle complex properties and filters in a single page well, and it lags sometimes on complex pages. Sometimes, the timer doesn't work properly—it might show paused, but in the background, it's still running. There are some bugs that need fixing. If I try to set all the properties, graphs, and charts on one page, it takes time to load. It's not fully automated, and you still have to do some things manually. Notion isn't designed for creating designs because it's not a design tool. Plus, it doesn't work properly in offline mode.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me create complex pages and simplify them using Notion AI while tracking my daily targets efficiently. However, it struggles with handling complex properties and filters, leading to performance lags, and has issues with the timer not pausing properly, requiring improvement in offline functionality.

 ### 23. Versatile Tool for Structure and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward (Ted) B. | Territory Account Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I find Notion incredibly helpful for structuring our conversations and organizing a lot of the data we have. It really excels in connecting everything together, which is probably its best function. The AI function is a standout as well, as it helps look across workspaces and pages, making it easier to follow everything across different parts of our organization. Creating pages, dashboards, and having an internal product Wiki supports our knowledge sharing and is super helpful. Notion's structure allows us to connect and collaborate across different departments effectively. The customization options really let me organize my data the way I want, which I find to be a huge benefit compared to other tools. Overall, Notion has been a much cleaner and more flexible tool compared to what we used before.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The actual structure for workspaces where integrating more workspaces together would be a lot easier is something I think could be improved. It's more about how a lot of things typically need to be within the workspaces themselves, and you're kinda kept to that workspace when you create them. It would be great if there were an overall structure where these workspaces could still be connected together. This connectivity would help when having separate organizational databases or workspaces are necessary but still need collaboration. Also, I found the initial setup of Notion not super simple. Using it to its full extent required some additional research, like looking up stuff on YouTube and playing around with it to figure out how everything connects. That was a bit of a challenge to get organized effectively.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to structure conversations and data, connect everything, and organize roadmaps. The AI is invaluable for searching across pages. It centralizes our platform, aiding collaboration and knowledge sharing within our startup.

 ### 24. Meeting Notes and AI Summaries Make Notion a Must-Have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The Meeting Notes feature, along with the AI agent’s ability to summarize context from all the different sources integrated with the workspace, has been incredibly helpful. I can easily gather meaningful information from meetings by asking the agent any questions I might have. Before this existed, I either had to type down all my notes or just hope I’d remember the really important details.

On top of that, I can quickly send a summary and the meeting notes to everyone involved, and they genuinely appreciate the insights included. I also love how customizable the note-taking template format is. Whenever there’s a workshop or something more “educational” rather than business-related, I can simply switch the note mode so it captures more thorough information. Great feature.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don’t think I dislike anything about this tool specifically, but I do think the learning curve is a bit steep for people who aren’t used to this kind of software. I was in charge of implementing Notion across all departments at my company as the new (and only) source of truth for documentation and processes, and there has been a lot of resistance. That said, I believe this is more related to the fact that some people are more old-fashioned and prefer spreadsheets over cloud tools.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have the company's most important information all over the place and using different tools that were pretty much redundant. It was hard for us to know which documentation to reference when we wanted to learn about the most updated data or metrics, or even keeping track of the projects and the tasks that everyone had on their plate. Now it's easier to find everything because I was able to create a hub per department that help's people easily find for what they're looking for

 ### 25. Versatile, Needs Improved Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** patrick p. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion's ease of use once I got used to it and its database features. The AI agents and assistants are handy, with the project management agent helping organize, categorize, and set timelines, while the assistant agent helps me organize and prioritize my day. I also enjoy the automations and workflows, which notify me when projects are at risk or ready to be reviewed, and update projects or create checklists. I appreciate the all-in-one view and integrations with other apps, as well as the dashboards that present important data. The flexibility of Notion is a big plus, offering so many benefits, though it took me a minute to figure out some basic tasks.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find Notion isn't yet a full automation or agent platform. There are still some manual tasks that I think Notion could be better at, like changing permissions, managing workspace settings, creating advanced database properties, or even creating and editing reminders and comments. It's almost automated, which leaves room for improvement. Additionally, the initial setup can be overwhelming because there's so much Notion can do. It took me some time to figure out how to perform basic tasks. A tutorial or short video library would be helpful to explore and understand Notion's full capabilities. The initial guide and walkthrough could use some improvement to drive adoption.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for project management, note-taking, transcribing, and personal productivity. It provides an all-in-one view with app integrations, automations, and dashboards that display important data.

 ### 26. Revolutionary for our team organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noé M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I appreciate most about Notion is its simplicity and deep organization, which are a true passion for us. Everything is so well constructed that even our clients can easily participate by writing their briefings directly on the pages we give them access to. This level of transparency and closeness with our clients is something we love. Introducing Notion to our team took less than a week for everyone to master the tool, which speaks to its ease of use. The interface is simple, clean, and practical. Additionally, the integrated AI helps us tremendously in structuring our pages and organizing our work, which has transformed our way of doing things compared to the old software we used.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What works a little less well with Notion is the integration with other tools. We use the Microsoft suite a lot for communication, and there isn't really an easy integration to do. For me, it lacks a design feature similar to Canva, like creating slides with drag and drop. Such a feature for quick presentations and pitches would be great. Moreover, the mobile application of Notion is a bit complicated to use and not very ergonomic, which makes its use less practical, which is why we mainly use the computer version.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize our agency, resolve the chaos of numerous simultaneous projects, and facilitate collaboration even remotely with a clear structure and colorful roadmaps. Notion brings everything together in one place, which simplifies communication and task management.

 ### 27. Ultimate Productivity Hub with Minor Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MAYURESH T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as my all-in-one productivity and organization tool. It helps me manage my class notes, assignments, project planning, and daily tasks in one place, which makes it easy to stay organized. I like the clean interface, customizable templates, and powerful database features, which allow for flexible organization with pages, sub-pages, and databases. The customizable workflows for students, teams, and personal productivity are a big plus, along with real-time collaboration for sharing notes and projects. Templates help me get started quickly, and the cross-device syncing ensures my work is available anywhere. What makes Notion truly valuable to me is the way these features work together to reduce friction when organizing information and collaborating. I love its flexibility, allowing me to structure information however it makes the most sense for me, and the efficiency it brings by combining note-taking, task management, documentation, and collaboration into a single workspace.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Overall, I think Notion is excellent, but there are a few areas where it could improve: Steep learning curve: The flexibility can feel overwhelming for new users because there are so many ways to organize information. Performance: Large workspaces or complex databases can sometimes feel slower than expected. Offline support: Offline editing has improved, but it can still be less reliable than users expect when working without an internet connection. Mobile experience: While the mobile app is good for quick edits, building or managing complex pages and databases is much easier on a desktop. Notifications and reminders: These could be more customizable, especially for users who rely on Notion as their primary task manager. Database complexity: Powerful database features can take time to learn, and simple tasks sometimes require more setup than in dedicated productivity apps. Despite these limitations, the strengths of Notion—its flexibility, all-in-one workspace, and collaboration features—generally outweigh the drawbacks for most personal and professional use cases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as an all-in-one tool to manage notes, tasks, project planning, and documents, reducing the need to switch between apps. It helps keep everything organized and simplifies tracking goals, deadlines, and ideas.

 ### 28. Elevated Task Management with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the layout and the UI of Notion. It's very aesthetically pleasing, easy to keep things organized, and it just looks good and works in my brain. I think the setup and linking between different boards and different tasks is really streamlined. You can create an SOP that outlines everything, and then within that, link it to other SOPs so you can find all the information just from one spot. This makes it really, really helpful since you don't have to find different boards or bounce between things; you can just click that link, and it takes you directly to it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the setup and creation is sometimes a little bit difficult, especially when you're first getting used to it. It's hard to figure out exactly how to set things up, but after you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Maybe more of a tutorial on how to do different headlines and set up different templates at the beginning would be helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep track of tasks, organize documents, manage projects, and client information in one centralized spot, which helps with task organization and meeting deadlines.

 ### 29. Versatile Templates and Powerful AI for Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nichimyo R. | Public Relations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion because there are so many templates available. I appreciate that the AI allows me to build out dashboards and project manage various parts of my life, work, and for the work I do in communications. It works well for project management. Templates make setup very easy, as I can just prompt and build out what I need, which helps organize and makes my life easier.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I guess it gives a lot of options. So when sometimes you have a lot of options, it's even though it's really good at organizing using a dashboard, it just becomes more work than less work. And sometimes you just wanna make a list. And I think that's why I'll move to Excel sometimes because it's simpler or, like, a Google Doc.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me organize my work, projects, and personal life with its AI and templates, making life easier and good for project management.

 ### 30. Easy, Fast, and Collaborative Wiki with Simple Formatting and Strong Access Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how easy it is to make a full wiki for the department and access control who can see what. I like how easy the formatting is and the simpleness of the design. I like how multiple people can edit at the same time yet it is much easier to navigate than a shared Google Drive.

Integrations are fine but can ake a while to set up. Performance is always rapid. Pricing I don't see. Support isn't really needed.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

- I hate when links open to the web browser version instead of the app
- I hate that the formatting doesn't translate well across to Slack or documents if you just want to paste content or a table
- I dislike Notion AI compared to other frontier models
- I don't think the RAG/query function is that good and often doesn't find oyu the most important pages

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's all about a record of information and an low cost intranet. It's amazing for storing information quickly and easily building internal functions.

 ### 31. Notion Makes Cross-Team Project Organization Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is how convenient it is to organise work across different teams in one place. We use it to manage projects across product, customer success, and go to market, and the linked databases and custom properties make it simple to keep everything connected. I particularly like being able to create dashboards that give me a clear view of my tasks while also allowing me to drill into detailed information when needed. Have been connecting it with AI tools to claude to automate my actions as well.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One area that could be improved is performance when working with larger databases or pages containing lots of linked content, as they can occasionally feel a bit slow to load. There is also a slight learning curve when setting up more advanced databases, relations, and automations, so it can take some time for new users to get the most out of the platform.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Notion, we relied on emails, documents, and spreadsheets to keep track of projects and actions, which made it difficult to stay organised and follow up on outstanding work. Now, we have dedicated workspaces for different teams and projects, with everything stored in one place. Being able to assign tasks, set reminders, and receive notification emails has made it much easier to keep on top of deadlines and collaborate across teams. It has reduced the amount of time spent searching for information and following up manually, while giving everyone much better visibility of ongoing work.

 ### 32. Powerful Personal Organizer with a Need for Speed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinath Reddy V. | Notion Campus Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really find databases to be the most useful feature in Notion. They help me track daily data and get insights over the long run. I also think the new Agents feature is a great addition with a big scope. It can help populate my databases with daily news and data, and cover daily repetitive tasks. Setting up Notion was quite easy for me, probably because I have tons of experience with it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Databases with more than 250+ rows start to feel laggy, and the whole Notion app becomes very slow. Maybe try not to load data each time. If I load data one time on a page, let it stay there and try to consume less RAM. Unless I'm interacting with data or opening a specific row, there's no need to open it completely or load everything. Each time I scroll up/down, loading it makes it very slow.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for tracking my monthly budget and wardrobe. It gives me insights with a dashboard, helps organize my clothes, and makes it easy to manage daily tasks and data with its databases and agents.

 ### 33. Customizable Workflow Solution with Seamless Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric J. | Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to track tasks and projects for both my personal life and my businesses. At home, it allows me to coordinate with my wife on regular household duties and keep track of personal tasks like income taxes and grocery lists. For business, I can coordinate with my team effectively, using it for CRM and tracking larger projects as a project management tool. Notion is infinitely customizable, and I love that I can configure it to exactly what I need. The integration connecting Claude to Notion is quite good, and I'm really satisfied with that software stack. My tasks are automated through cloud agents, which helps with collecting data from many sources, drafting reports in Notion, and then reviewing and exporting them for my team, making Notion a central repository where both my team and AI agents can work.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I found setting up Notion to be a lot of work because there was more to configure compared to a turnkey project management tool. It wasn't hard, just time-consuming.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to track tasks and projects for both my personal life and businesses. It helps coordinate household duties and manage personal tasks. For business, it enhances team coordination, serving as our project management and CRM tool. Integrating cloud agents with Notion automates data collection and reporting, centralizing information for my team.

 ### 34. Notion as Our Engineering Team’s Single Source of Truth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most is that Notion has become our engineering team's single source of truth. During onboarding, I could find everything from environment setup and repository links to architecture docs, TDDs, guidelines, and runbooks in one place instead of asking teammates where things were.

I also like how everything is connected. I can move from a product spec to the design doc, related meeting notes, GitHub repos, and project pages without losing context. As our documentation has grown, Notion AI came to the rescue when I can't remember where something is and has made it much easier to find the right information. I also like that Notion supports multiple ways to write docs, including Markdown, which fits well with how our team and increasingly agents work with docs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

As our workspace has grown, keeping documentation organized has taken more effort. Since Notion is so flexible, different teams can structure pages in different ways, so without good templates and naming conventions it's possible to end up with duplicate or outdated documentation.

Search is generally good, but when multiple versions of a design doc or RFC exist, it can still take a bit of digging to make sure you're looking at the latest one. We've addressed a lot of this internally by standardizing templates and page organization, but I'd love to see Notion make it easier to surface the canonical or most up-to-date version of a document automatically in larger workspaces. I also wish some database operations were a bit more intuitive, especially when creating filtered views or connecting related information across databases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Notion, information would typically be scattered across different tools or shared through chat, making it harder to find the latest context. Notion has given us a central place for onboarding guides, standards, and project documentation, so there's much less context switching.

For me, the biggest benefit has been ramping up faster and spending less time asking where information lives. When I'm working on a feature, I can go from the product requirements to the technical design, related meeting notes, implementation tasks, and links in one place. One benefit I didn't expect is how much easier it is to understand the reasoning behind technical decisions. Since design docs, meeting notes, and follow-up discussions are all connected, I can trace why something was built a certain way instead of only seeing the final implementation. That context has made it much easier to contribute to unfamiliar parts of the codebase with confidence.

 ### 35. Extremely Helpful All-in-One View with Flexible Filtering

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Our web dev team is able to keep track of all our tasks while still viewing them in different ways through the filtering. E.g., We have one page that lists our projects at the top and their statuses, then below that is our Kanban board to house our tasks for the week, then our Backlog board at the bottom. That all-in-one view is extremely helpful while popping around to different areas of that page. I added those views in accordion blocks, so if folks don't want to see projects all the time, they can collapse it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish there was a way to have certain data without having to create new calculated fields for it. E.g., I wanted to see the history of our backlog board in terms of the number of cards. Even with using the AI agent inside Notion, I am not able to do that without creating new fields to track that data somehow. I understand why this is the case, it's a database system, I just wish the cruft wasn't so much. Also, sometimes Notion sort of freaks out. It will hiccup every now and again by freezing up a bit. OH - I really REALLY would love to be able to lock down a page's layout or filters for my whole team while still allowing them to move cards around.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team must keep track of our work, and that is the main problem we have to solve. We came from a post it board when we worked in person, then it evolved to Trello in 2020, and I just needed more as the project manager. I tested a bunch of tools and found Notion's UI was the most user friendly. We also have have an intake form for our internal clients where they can add things to their wishlists, which is really helpful. I integrated Notion with our Slack board, so when new wishlist items came in, we'd be notified that way since we're most available in Slack.

 ### 36. Unified Workflow Hub with Smart Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon E. | Manager, Equity Capital Markets, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for organizing my personal tasks and appreciate that it has removed the need for Google Drive and Google Sheets by bringing everything together in one place as our shared workspace for the entire company. I find it simple and easy to use, and I love the AI and the introduction of lots of new features, which consistently make my life easier. Notion helps me save time and integrates everything into one platform, making it easier to manage. The onboarding helper also made the initial setup relatively easy for us.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The Notion notetaker is a bit irritating, and I think they have a huge opportunity if they manage to leverage it like granola. If they could do what granola does, they've got all the opportunity to do it. I think it could be a huge opportunity.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize personal tasks, replacing Google Drive and Sheets, making it our full company workspace. It's simple, easy to use, and saves time by consolidating everything in one place with new features and AI.

 ### 37. With its AI integration and flexibility, Notion has changed my work life.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zafer . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

One of my favorite things about Notion is that it's the best note-taking app with AI integration. It not only helps with taking notes but also greatly assists in tasks like process and task management. There are even automations available, and we can successfully connect with Claude. I use Notion databases to both archive my data and manage projects. Despite Notion's steep learning curve, we overcome this challenge thanks to the AI system. It not only teaches us how to use it but also allows us to interact with our data, which is incredibly useful. I really liked the Board feature for task management; I enjoy how everything is different and flexible. Even if I can't set up my system perfectly, the data in the first column of the rows acting like pages temporarily covers my shortcomings and allows me to take notes quickly. Additionally, the feature to publish our Notion pages with an open link is great for showing my team the things we are collaborating on.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The AI sometimes hallucinates when there's a lot of data, or recent changes might not be saved, leading to worries about potential data loss. I sometimes have to go in and out of pages to ensure my changes are saved. Sometimes when I use AI to make corrections, like adding a column to 180 rows, it doesn't apply the changes to all and skips some. Also, though I set up reminders in my custom calendar database, I think the reminder features could be improved. Additionally, in calendar view, I can't strike through a task once it's done because it's saved as a page.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I came to Notion to escape Excel. It lets me store data archivally and manage projects in databases that are readable vertically and on mobile. AI helps me overcome its high learning curve, automate adjustments, and manage tasks flexibly with board features.

 ### 38. Highly Customizable, Ideal for Personal & Business Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celine A. | Marketing Project Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that I can customize Notion and work how I want it to work, rather than being forced into a box like with other software. The integrations with Slack and Google Drive work pretty well and are very helpful, especially when I have large files like videos. I can have a direct link without searching manually. Also, the evolving setup is a good thing.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Permissions are really tricky. They're just super complex. I would suggest stop using permissions and access interchangeably and get super clear on, like, inherited permissions. So if I have data in a specific data source and I pull a link to it, like I pull multiple links to the same page, let's clarify how much of the access the permissions in the source page is actually transferable.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize all aspects of life and business in one place, which saves me from needing multiple apps. It provides structure for projects and knowledge management, solving the issue of going to multiple places.

 ### 39. Intuitive, Visual Research Hub with Powerful Linking and AI Writing Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

How intuitive it is for organisation - all the connections between folders. I use it for notes, to do lists, literature database. I use it for all research admin and research literature and notes. I like how visual and accessible all the folders are - as my research becomes more in-depth I can create new folders/themes and it doesn't mess up the entire system. I use AI for writing support, I use the integrations and relationships to link data, I can track my performance and workload, pricing is resaonable as a student - the speed can be a bit clunky if too many tabs are open and I have not used the support function

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I cannot easily link my Outlook calendar or google calendar - I find the relationships between databases confusing and not intuitive

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Researching before meant using a bunch of folders on my laptop which is very clunky and doesn't transfer easily - Notion means I can use any laptop anywhere and be back to my main source of literature and be organisaed all in one place

 ### 40. Flexible Work Management That Adapts to Our Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is its database functionality, especially the flexibility it provides. We use Notion for many different purposes, including sprint management, tracking technical and functional discussions, managing epics, maintaining release notes, and keeping meeting notes organized. The ability to connect all these different types of information makes it much easier to navigate between different contexts in my day to day work .

Recently, I have also started using Notion AI to quickly gather information across these different databases. It has been helpful for finding relevant information faster and getting a broader view of topics without having to manually search through multiple pages and databases.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One area where I think Notion could be improved is the flexibility in managing properties within a database. Currently, all entries in a database need to share the same set of properties, even when different categories of items require different information. For users like me who rely on Notion to manage complex data and different types of information in one place, this can lead to unnecessary clutter and make databases harder to maintain. It would be useful to have conditional properties, where certain properties are shown only when they are relevant for a specific type of entry. This would help keep databases cleaner, more organized, and easier to use as they grow.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps us solve the challenge of managing our work in a way that fits our team's specific needs. The previous tool we used for sprint management provided more rigid structures and useful out-of-the-box functionalities, but it was not flexible enough to support some of our unique requirements.

With Notion, there was an initial investment of time needed to set up databases, workflows, and automations. However, this allowed us to create a solution that is much more tailored to how our team works. We can structure our sprints, track different types of information, and manage our processes in a way that matches our actual needs rather than adapting our way of working to fit the tool.

Another major benefit is that as our team and processes evolve, we can continue adjusting our Notion setup to support our changing needs. This flexibility helps us maintain a workflow that remains effective over time.

 ### 41. Highly Customizable, Rich Features but Needs More Style

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas F. | intern

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion for its simple complexity, offering minimal features that can be curated into a myriad of features. This means I can use the same template by changing only one thing to solve a lot of organizational issues, keeping the platform functional and familiar. I appreciate being able to make as many different systems as I need to keep track of and manage my tasks.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There's a lot to learn to make it functional, which can be overwhelming. I've received a lot of complementary emails attempting to explain this, but I haven't used them, so maybe that's on me. It might be too utilitarian and not have enough style or color available. I don't mind, but I know lots of people who really like colorful trackers. I found app or website-based video tours more engaging than the AI, which I found unengaging and confusing. Just color backgrounds and space color schemes to make them pop would help, instead of everything just having thin black borders on a white background. Initial setup was simple, like making an account, but I found the start confusing with the AI assistant and lack of visual cues. The tour gives all elements at once then asks the user to navigate and explore. I would find a forced tour of each section at a time easier to understand and use.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for organization. Its simple complexity lets me use templates to fix organizational issues while keeping things functional and familiar. I can manage my tasks with different systems as needed.

 ### 42. Flexible and Powerful, Yet Notion AI is Pricey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivér T. | Brand Consultant / Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is very flexible and I can customize it to the needs of my team. I appreciate that I can integrate it with other software, using tools like Zapier to create automations. For example, I have built automations that summarize all kinds of knowledge and information from sales and create briefs for the project manager, all integrated within Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like that Notion is pushing its own AI very much. Notion AI is expensive, and I prefer choosing my own AI tools. Also, when I start a meeting through Notion calendar, it defaults to the Notion recording, which doesn't even work for me because it doesn't work in Hungarian. Even if it would work in Hungarian, I wouldn't use it. Keep in mind, It's very flexible with lots of options, so you really need to figure out how you're going to use it. While it's not difficult, it is time-consuming.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a knowledge base and to manage projects in my business. It's very flexible, allowing customization to my team's needs with integrations to create automations.

 ### 43. A Clean, Flexible Workspace That Makes Productivity Feel Creative

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aarav R. | Project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is how it gives people complete freedom to organize their work and ideas in their own style. Whether it’s notes, daily plans, projects, journals, or team collaboration, everything can be managed in one clean and customizable space. Unlike many productivity apps that feel complicated or restrictive, Notion feels simple at first but becomes incredibly powerful once you start exploring its features. The minimal design, flexibility, and ability to connect everything together make staying productive feel more creative, organized, and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What I dislike about Notion is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming and distracting because there are too many customization options. Large pages may also become slow, and beginners can take time to fully understand how to use it efficiently.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of keeping notes, tasks, projects, and information scattered across different apps by bringing everything into one organized workspace. This benefits users by making it easier to manage work, track goals, collaborate with teams, and stay productive without constantly switching between multiple platforms.

 ### 44. Easy Databases, Live Charts, and AI Search That Saves Hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use databases regularly to manage projects and tasks, and they’re very easy to set up and maintain.

I also like that you can embed other data points into pages. For example, we use Amplitude to track usage data, and I love that you can pull live charts into Notion. That means I can share public-facing links with my customers so they can see their usage stats, which saves me hours I’d otherwise spend producing usage reports.

It’s also amazing for onboarding new joiners to the team, since you can store all the resources they need in one place for them to work through.

The AI is great for quickly surfacing information. Notion can get absolutely FULL of useful info, but it’s easy to forget where something lives, so the AI has been really helpful for searching through pages and finding what I need.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It has so many capabilities, I feel like I barely scratch the surface with what it can do. That's my only thought - I love it otherwise!

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration: we all have visibility over projects and tasks.
Internal knowledge: we have all our resources in one place that we need to use e.g. how to guides, company policies.

 ### 45. Easy Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I can connect all the databases together. It's easy to collaborate with others without having to save a bunch of documents. The icons are very cute. The AI works quite well in terms of creating formulas for me and helping me do things faster.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish the databases offered a bit more functionality when it comes to sheets. I’d also like them to support slightly more advanced formulas. At times, the system feels a little slow, which I suspect may be because there’s a lot of data in it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to create drafts and collaborate really easily with my team. I work with consultancies, and it makes sharing work a lot easier as opposed to having to create a lot of documents, create a Google Drive, put them all in the Google Drive, and share each document individually. It's a lot better for that. I also can use it to store data, which means that I don't then need to also have a separate system. For example, one of my clients doesn't have an HR system, but I can just build a similar-ish system in Notion, which is helpful for saving money.

 ### 46. Team Management Becomes Simple with Notion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuele T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for work and appreciate its ability to monitor who is doing what activities and how they are progressing, allowing my collaborators to interact directly to keep track of project progress. I find it very useful to have the immediate status of activities on different projects thanks to the 'project and tasks' templates. It is a great resource as a 'Library', where we store pages that collect experiences, found bugs, tool configurations, gathering all the team's know-how. Moreover, I really like Notion's graphics and the ease of managing things. It allows me to easily add or remove items, create pages, or write custom formulas for specific actions I need. The available templates make it easier to adapt something to my work, which I can then customize for my needs. I find the commands to insert new pages or new items really easy. Notion is definitely more user-friendly compared to other solutions I have used.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It would be nice to be able to create groups for guest users as well; in the end, it's a feature that doesn't cost much but would be very useful. The charts work well, but I don't always understand how to use them. Also, I would like to be able to use shared pages in different workgroups that can be updated. When I share the page, it would be useful to have an option to decide whether I want to share it as a stand-alone or update it automatically when it is modified in other workspaces or groups. Additionally, I need integration with Outlook for calendar and email and with the ALM PTC Windchill software.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to monitor the status of project activities, facilitate team collaboration, and create a "library" of experiences and bugs. The ready-made templates make it easy to adapt and customize to my needs.

 ### 47. Effortless Collaboration and Reliable Workflows with Notion’s AI Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

We use Notion for marketing, and it makes team collaboration effortless. You can build in-depth guides and wikis to any level of detail, and the best part is the embedded AI — the MCP integration works great with Claude. Notion has adapted to fit even the most complex workflows I've thrown at it. It also integrates well with Jira, which helps us streamline our release communications.

The simple UI and commenting features make reviewing easy. The AI is usable, though not the best I've seen — and I haven't found the agents especially useful yet, since we mostly rely on Claude. That said, Notion's new Claude-managed agent support looks interesting; I've yet to explore it. Reliability is a real strength: I've run workflows with thousands of rows and heavy in/out calls, and it holds up almost every time without glitches. And judging by the platform notes, it's headed in the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The typing/editing experience isn't great and has glitches. Because of its block-based approach, regular typing has misses — for example, backspace often doesn't work the way you'd expect it to in a text editor.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to collaborate across the marketing team. It serves as our in-depth knowledge base for all product and process knowledge, which then feeds into our marketing workflows and the marketing artifacts we produce as output. Paired with Claude, it works beautifully as our system of record and as a place to review product marketing outputs.

 ### 48. Simplifies Organization with Stellar Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pooja B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the automation part of Notion. It has made my life so much easier because I receive many different invoices regularly, and it's crucial not to miss any. Notion helps me keep track of all these invoices and reminds me of them. I don't have to manually update which invoices have been received as it's automatically known through Notion's automation feature. Every time I update the invoices, it just requires me to put a check, and it automatically resets, saving me from tedious tasks like writing the date again and putting all the invoice details. It's so much easier for me, and I love that the most about Notion. Additionally, when I first joined, the setup was very easy. I received an invite email, and everything was pretty much set up. It only took me one or two days to get accustomed, making it a very straightforward and uncomplicated platform. I would say Notion is the easiest platform to use.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think in the automation itself, integrations with other platforms like Power Automate or Microsoft Outlook can be improved. They could be made simpler and more straightforward, so we don't need Power Automate in between. Right now, it's a bit complicated with the formulas and stuff, although Notion AI is helpful there. But still, it can be better. It would be very helpful, especially for someone from a finance background like me, who doesn't have much idea about coding and such. It would help us use Notion to its full potential.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize and store information, automate reminders, and find records even from years ago. It bridges communication gaps when team members leave and simplifies invoice tracking, reducing tedious tasks with automation.

 ### 49. An excellent platform for data management, but initially complex

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gioele C. | Fisioterapista sportivo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion mainly to manage my personal data and schedule, and it helps me study better. I appreciate the speed with which I can enter any commitments into the schedule and the ability to organize calendars and deadlines. I like the fact that I can manage all the study and information gathering in one platform. I find the ability to transcribe meetings very useful and appreciate how quick and intuitive the meeting summary function is.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that Notion is not easily accessible to those who are not familiar with this type of application. It would be useful to have short and quick training courses to help new users better navigate the platform. Additionally, the initial setup was quite laborious at the beginning.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to manage personal data, the agenda, and study. Notion allows me to quickly enter appointments and organize the agenda and deadlines. It is useful for transcribing and summarizing meetings.

 ### 50. I'm amazed with notion and AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** break n. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

databasses gets new features all the time, always something good

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The MCP (free plan) is too limited — it's nearly impossible to work with databases meaningfully. Paid plans still don't include AI features; everything is charged separately. Nowadays, competitors are integrating AI both into the product and into the pricing, making it more accessible. Notion should consider bundling AI into standard paid tiers rather than treating it as a premium add-on.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps with all my digital life, I have numerous databases - for notes, tasks, resources, work, games etc. I have wiki space, pages like presentations. It helps me to write stories and create a universe.
