## Notion Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive Collaboration and Integrations, but Clunky App and Weak for Markdown Docs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Imon Kalyan R. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion makes collaboration simpler and helps me create truly solid documentation. It’s a dependable tool, and honestly, I consider it the best in its category. The UI is very intuitive and honestly makes it very easy to create notes within notes and sharing and finding them very easily. I particularly like that you can easily convert a element to another element. Also the fact that everything is an element makes things pretty easy to manage.

I love their integration with tools. Google Suite, Jira, Figma are among the many other integrations I see myself using every other day!

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I feel that while the collaborative features help, especially for non-technical people, I find it difficult to write technical documentation in it. As a developer, I want something that lets me write in native Markdown, and honestly any code editor suffices. Especially there, I can bring in any AI instead of being locked into Notion’s AI, which feels somewhat overpriced and not value for money.

I also don’t like Notion’s app. Even though it makes it easy to work with things, it’s a pain to keep around. With all the windows I already have open, Notion’s app just feels clunky. There’s no easy way to use folders, star things, or pin things—or at least I haven’t been able to figure that out from their UI. The app is also somewhat slow and not very performant.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me store non-technical information that needs to be accessible and easy to share, with granular access controls. It’s also great for jotting down ideas and, honestly, for implementation documentation too.

 ### 2. Integrates Content Seamlessly, Pricey for Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the databases and automations in Notion. It's a really integrated way to manage production systems and content pipelines. I also find it very fast to iterate and add new projects. It's quick for updating my design portfolio, which is super helpful. I set up my portfolio weekly with ease. The initial setup of Notion was very easy for me, and once it clicked in my head, using it became an easy task.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Well, I think agents are still hard for me because I haven't figured out the right way to use them. I probably need to train a bit more on this subject. Also, since I'm a Brazilian user working for a Brazilian company, I don't earn in US dollars or euros, so it's relatively very expensive for me to use Notion with Teams. It would be too costly for my small business, making it hard for me to collaborate with people I cooperate with.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my daily life, quickly update my design portfolio, and integrate content into databases for managing podcasts, making it easy to track participants and episodes.

 ### 3. Notion: The Ultimate Tool for Enterprise-level Planning and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yamin C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to document and plan ideas for enterprise-level software, and I appreciate how it helps me maintain context with features like pages and notes. The ability to link pages together and use databases is fantastic, as it allows me to organize and manage project information effectively. I find the integration with Notion AI incredibly helpful for evaluating and critiquing documentation, ensuring I don't miss crucial details. Notion's robust search retrieval and access to documentation make it invaluable for planning and collaborating with agentic IDEs. The setup was super easy, which made the transition smooth. I also enjoy the team collaboration capabilities, where sharing pages and interacting with Notion AI facilitates cross-collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The Notion interface sometimes tends to freeze when the context gets really long as I write, copy, and paste documentation and information over. It would be helpful to have a note or notification indicating how much context has been used or when it might start to freeze. Another issue is that running Notion on a Mac with an M1 processor can be very slow at times. I also think a real game changer would be if I could use Notion AI through an API.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to document my ideas and plan enterprise-level software, using Notion AI to ensure completeness and maintain context, preventing missed details. Its search and retrieval make project documentation beautiful and effective for collaboration.

 ### 4. Notion: A Game-Changer with Intuitive AI and Smooth Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I find Notion very good at helping me organize my company's knowledge base. It's very intuitive and especially like how it allows me to see the relationship of different data types. The integration of AI is really helpful for finding information quickly, and the AI agent offers good ideas for finding relevant information online. Switching from Excel, I found that Notion has significantly improved our workflow and really blew my mind with its capabilities. The initial setup was very smooth, even for non-technical colleagues, and I now feel like I don't know how I managed tasks before using this application.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The first time I used Notion, I couldn't figure out how to use the plug-ins, and it took me a while to get my head around it. It would have been very helpful if a tutorial was available to assist new users with using this powerful tool.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my company's knowledge base. It's intuitive, aiding in understanding how different notes combine and leveraging AI for quick info retrieval.

 ### 5. Fast, Simple Project Organization with Notion AI Agents

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I can organize projects' information faster using simple markup functions.
Also, AI agents help me to organize what to do today, or this week, or near future. Notion AI's Response is also fast.
But sometimes the result becomes strange, so I need to check and change prompts. In that case, AI agent uses credit, so you need to be careful to check the prompts so that you don't need to use anther credit.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes AI agent act strange, the result was ok by yesterday, but it's different today. So I hope the AI agent become more stable.
Also, project timeline mode is still hard to organize sometimes. For example, when I'd like to move/copy the set of tasks, I can't do that easily (perhaps there will be a good way, but I don't know it).

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For entire project, I have to use the tools which my clients use, but for myself, I can easily organize my own tasks with Notion.

 ### 6. Customizable Organization, But Missing Nonprofit Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really appreciate Notion for helping me organize my state grant. It's like having a filing cabinet for all my pictures and receipts. The ability to customize the views is great, and I love being able to customize how I look at my data. It keeps track of the grant, showing me how much money is left in each category, which really helps keep me on track. Having all my data in one spot and it keeping track has been good.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Yeah. They don't have an AI plan available for nonprofits. I'm currently on the nonprofit discount plan, and I think it's still costing me, like, $16 a month. Because of that, unfortunately, our board has decided to move some of our projects over to Monday. Because Monday's platform for nonprofits is free, and I'm able to get the full suite of AI products with Monday. I had to give up my nonprofit pricing in order to get the AI features with Notion, and I wasn't about to do that. I was just disappointed with that. But as far as the functionality overall, it's given me peace of mind going through this graph. On a scale of one to 10, the initial setup was probably a six. I had to have Chat GPT walk me through a lot of it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a great solution for organizing a state grant, and Notion really came through. It's like a filing cabinet for pictures, receipts, and everything else, keeping things organized in one place. The way it tracks expenses helps me see how much money is left in each category and what I haven't spent yet.

 ### 7. Unifies Projects and Notes Seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavye A. | Social Media Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion mainly for keeping all my notes and projects in one place. It's a very good tool to manage and organize. I love that it keeps everything in one place, so I don't have to jump between five different apps just to find a note. I really like its UI, which is clean and doesn't feel overwhelming. The organizing capabilities, like having pages inside pages, are really handy. I sometimes use Notion alongside Google Drive, and it's a great way to manage. Moving from a mix of Google Docs and Trello to Notion was smooth and has replaced both effectively. Although I had some doubts initially, after a few uses, I understood it completely.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The app becomes a little slow when many projects are stored. Also, the mobile version is a little clunky compared to the desktop one.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep all my notes and projects in one place, solving the problem of jumping between apps to find a note.

 ### 8. Versatile for Projects and Research—Emojis, Kanban, and AI Writing Shine

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

overall applicability to both my (multiple) business and personal projects.
It works well for my 'logging' of content and tasks/completions over the week. I have multiple 'update' pages that I feed throughout the week then at the end of the week I clean them up and copy them into an email to share with colleague.

The Emojis are actually really nice and helpful for me to identify projects and pages.

I manage a single large data base as a Kanban board to capture and manage multiple startups in our investment 'funnel'. And each one has a templated detail page so they are all consistent.

The I writing feature is fantastic for summing up my research.
Especially as it reads my meeting notes. I can generate investment memos easily and accurately.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The 'page within a page' nesting is still not always logical to me, but this really seems like the way it works best. So many time, I'll move a meeting note into a page, but then need to move it within that page to a toggle list because I contain most content within one page.

some of the formatting does not copy over to other docs. Especially surprising that when I copy content from Notion into Notion Mai, the formatting does not always carry through (Bold = **, etc.) very annoying mohave to reformat after copying.

Tabs seem to reopen after restarting. so I have many duplicate tabs open.

It's takes extra work to integrate it with other platforms. Syncing is not always easy.

It also crashes out on the mobile app when I have a page with a lot of content, even if it is just text, that is surprising and seems illogical as it is just text. IDK why the app crashes so hard.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

centralized place for all my work. web + mobile use essential, easy to share as web pages when needed. clean UI helps keep my mind clear. easy business purchase for annual subscription. lots of documentation from other users helps trouble shoot when needed.

 ### 9. Notion’s Flexibility Makes It Easy to Build Exactly What You Need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah P. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

How flexible it is. There’s so many ways that you can set up what you need and it can be as bespoke or templated as you want

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One of the ways that I use Notion is to document my travel info and sometimes I travel with a group, so I share out the Notion page with them. But they don’t always have a Notion account, so they can input their information on my doc.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a system that keeps everything in one place, Notion is my go-to for any sort of note taking, journaling, information-gathering, catch all. I’m less likely to forget where I put something because 99% of the time it’s in Notion

 ### 10. Versatile Tool for Team and Personal Life Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica L. | Digital Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the Notion database feature that allows me to keep everything organized. It makes it easy to track and categorize tasks and create different views for team members. I also enjoy the comments feature that lets me collaborate with teammates in real time and keep track of what was said about each item or document. I like how I can integrate Notion with Claude AI to get tasks done, and it's helpful for accurate reporting and summaries for upper level leadership. Notion creates a central dashboard where everything lives, which is a big plus for us. The initial setup was pretty easy, with many templates available to choose from that showed us what was possible, allowing us to set up something basic and expand our Notion page as our needs became clearer.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Honestly there is nothing I dislike. If I had to say anything it would be the fact that we don't get very many NotionAI responses with our paid subscription.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps us track tasks, projects, and audits all in one place, streamlining organization. The database feature organizes everything, and integration with Claude AI simplifies task updates from meetings. It centralizes our collaborative tools, previously spread across Slack and Google Docs, into a single dashboard. I also use it for my personal life to keep track of important household duties, appointments and information for my family.

 ### 11. Highly Versatile, But Needs Improved Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yashada H. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how Notion allows for interaction and can be used as a dashboard, making it really helpful and easier to use. I enjoy using Notion because it is very helpful in managing my work. Its interactive aspects, like having different tables and columns, make it straightforward to create websites or notes. I also appreciate how it helps me arrange meetings and manage personalized tasks, acting as a complete personalized workstation. Notion helps keep all my work in one place without needing to switch between apps, which has made managing everything very clear. It's also great that Notion supports different devices, which is really useful for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

As a beginner, I found Notion a bit hard to get into. There should be some beginner-friendly features because it took me a while to figure out how to switch between things like creating blogs, tables, and changing templates. It was really challenging at first, especially understanding how to add a page or announcements. More beginner-friendly guidance would be great, maybe with videos on the website to help newcomers get started.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion makes planning and organizing easier, boosting my productivity. It allows me to manage all my projects and deadlines in one place, reducing the hassle of multiple apps. We switched to Notion for its all-in-one dashboard, which helps streamline tasks and enhance efficiency.

 ### 12. One Platform for Notes, Tasks, and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** prakhar r. | Assistant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility and clean user experience. It helps me manage notes, projects, documentation, and team collaboration in one place, which reduces the need for multiple tools. Also, I enjoy how customizable the platform is. The databases, dashboards, and integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive make workflows much more organized and efficient. Notion AI is also useful for summarizing notes and drafting content quickly which ensures that I am performing well on my working hours. It offers great value for the pricing and works well for both personal productivity and team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One thing I dislike about Notion is that performance can sometimes slow down when working with very large databases or heavily loaded pages. The mobile experience is good overall, but some advanced workflows still feel better on desktop. There is also a slight learning curve when setting up complex systems or automations for the first time. While the flexibility is a huge advantage, it can feel overwhelming initially for new users who are not familiar with structured workspaces. I’d also like to see deeper native integrations and more advanced reporting features for larger teams.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Notion helped us centralize documentation, project tracking, notes, and collaboration into one workspace
2. The clean UI and customizable dashboards improved team visibility and made onboarding easier
3. Integrations with Slack, Google Drive, and automation tools reduced manual work and improved workflow efficiency.
4. Notion AI helps save time by summarizing notes and organizing information quickly

Overall, it improved productivity while providing good ROI by replacing multiple tools with a single platform.

 ### 13. One workspace replaced five separate systems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion runs the operational backbone of my consulting business. One workspace holds my playbooks, client tracking, and public website, so I'm not scattered across five different apps.

The linked databases are what I lean on most. Client list, discovery call tracker, and campaign log are all connected. New prospect comes in, I create a page from a template, and every field is already there.

AI is part of my daily workflow. I draft and update content between sessions, and pages handle structured additions well, so I can build on existing notes without losing what's already there.

Integrations turned Notion into a hub instead of one more silo. Content I generate elsewhere lands in a format I can reuse for client pages or internal reference.

Performance stays solid even as my databases grow. Pricing gave me enough room on the free tier to build a full business system before I needed to pay, which mattered as a solo founder. Onboarding was self-directed. The template gallery answered most of what I needed.

The unexpected win: Notion now doubles as my internal operating system and my client-facing website. One tool, two jobs, no separate platform to maintain.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Custom domains are the biggest gap for me. My site runs on Notion, but pointing my own domain at it means a standard redirect through my registrar, so visitors briefly see a notion.site URL flash in the address bar before it settles. The fix of a Notion-hosted custom domain with no redirect requires a paid plan add-on. For a solo, early stage business, that's a cost just to keep my branding consistent. I propose it be more accessible on lower tiers.

Cross-tool workflow adds friction I didn't expect. My content often starts in Google Docs, moves to Notion, then needs to export as PDF for other tools to read it properly. Each edit means updating multiple versions across that chain instead of one source of truth. A more flexible way to pull Notion content into external tools, or push updates back without manual re-exporting, would remove a real time cost.

Third-party integrations depend a lot on the other platform, not just Notion. I've had a bot sync feature stop updating with no clear error message on my end, and diagnosing whether the problem was Notion, the integration, or the other service took some digging. Better visibility into sync status and integration health would save troubleshooting time.

Mobile and quick-capture use is fine for reading, but I don't reach for it to build or restructure databases. Anything structural still waits until I'm on desktop.

Impact overall: none of these are dealbreakers, but the domain limitation adds cost pressure for small operators, and the cross-tool workflow friction is the one that eats time every week.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Notion, I ran my consulting business across scattered docs and disconnected files, no single place for playbooks, scripts, or client tracking. We struggled with fragmented information, but now everything lives in one workspace, internal operations and my public website together, which saves time and I do not need to hunt for the right version of anything.

Client tracking is a clear example. Before, I had no consistent way to see where a prospect stood in the sales process. Now each one gets a page from a template with every field structured, so status is visible at a glance instead of pieced together from memory or email threads.

Client-facing delivery changed too. As a solo operator, a slow, expensive website build wasn't realistic. Now my public site runs through Notion, so I can launch and adjust messaging fast, no developer, no rebuild every time positioning shifts.

The content workflow is the most measurable win. Drafting and revising scripts and templates used to mean juggling versions across tools. Now updates append cleanly in place, which cuts the back-and-forth on getting a document finished.

Net effect: five separate systems collapsed into one, freeing up hours a week that now go toward client outreach instead of administrative upkeep.

 ### 14. Notion AI Boosts Productivity, but UI and Training Still Need Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion AI has improved significantly over the past few months, without it Notion would be much harder to use. I use it to create content, move things, and do things I don't know how to do natively.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Lot's of features that aren't intuitive, training videos are short and not descriptive enough, small formatting issues (can't right align text, can't adjust spacing above and below sections/headers). It's also been causing my Chrome to crash pretty frequently over the past two weeks. Integrations/connections are also pretty limited, ex. JIRA view is not very customizable enough. Would also like a SmartSheets integration. The security permissions are also lacking/non-sensical. A guest shouldn't need to have access to the main database to see a view of a database on a page. It has caused increased security risks for us.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously struggled with getting everyone to use one tool. With a new commitment to creating a shared workspace in Notion, we've been able to encourage use and have increased transparency across the org and also manage projects and assets together.

 ### 15. Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Žan K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that multiple different people can work on the same document at the same time and there's history clearly visible. I can see who made which changes, as well as make comments and suggest edits, which is very helpful for reviewing work done by my coworkers and vice versa. The initial setup of Notion was relatively easy compared to some other software.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like the fact that often when I suggest changes and try to delete entire suggested paragraphs, it doesn't work. The text reappears. I can only delete suggestions using backspace, one letter at a time. Also, it could be easier to change the color of text. It can also sometimes be difficult to find certain documents.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion allows us to organize work and create documents, supporting collaboration with multiple users editing simultaneously and tracking changes through visible history. I can see who made changes and suggest edits, which helps in reviewing coworker's work.

 ### 16. Streamlined Collaboration, Centralized Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for note-taking, and I find it extremely useful for my work and organizing daily tasks. Notion helps me keep everything in one place, so I don't have to switch between multiple apps and tabs. I like that all my stuff is in one place, and I can create and manage workplaces from an admin side too, which is very valuable. The ability to create permissions, remove and add layers in organizations, and set up different workspaces for different departments and offices globally has massively enhanced productivity. It's easier to collaborate, more streamlined, and everything is in one place. The initial setup of Notion was also very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The user interface can be improved. It should be faster and easier to use and navigate. I prefer the user interface of Apple Notes more.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for notetaking and organizing tasks. It centralizes everything, eliminating app-switching. Managing permissions and creating workspaces has massively boosted productivity. It's also easier for collaboration and more streamlined than Microsoft OneNote.

 ### 17. Efficient All-in-One Workspace for Team Collaboration and Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bakkesh A. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility and all-in-one workspace approach. It helps manage notes, documentation, tasks, project tracking, and team collaboration in a single platform. The UI is clean and user-friendly, and the customization options like databases, templates, and linked pages make it easy to organize both personal and team workflows efficiently. I also like how smoothly it supports collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One thing I dislike about Notion is that performance can sometimes become slow when working with large pages or heavy databases. Some advanced features also have a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up complex workflows or database relations. Additionally, offline support could be improved for a smoother experience when internet connectivity is unstable.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps solve the problem of managing information across multiple tools by bringing notes, documentation, task management, and collaboration into a single workspace. It benefits me by improving organization, reducing context switching, and making it easier to track tasks, document ideas, and collaborate with teams efficiently. It also helps centralize project-related information, which improves productivity and communication during development and planning activities.

 ### 18. Convenient system, but needs improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Марина . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion for managing clients because I can create shared interactive folders where I outline tasks for the next week and mark whether a workout is done or not. Clients can leave their comments on workouts, and I can change the diet so that changes are synchronously reflected for both of us, and view the change history. I also use Notion to save my ideas and plans; it helps to systematize everything, and it's done in a beautiful format. The content plan in Notion allows me not to forget anything. What I like most is the database system because I can systematize everything very conveniently. I especially note the function of duplicating rows in databases — this is very convenient for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Firstly, the number of colors for text and background. I believe there should be many more, at least there should be a rainbow, so that I can choose the color that suits me and that I want to set. There are clearly too few colors to choose from. The next point I would like to fix is that Notion works very incorrectly on the iPad. It's just impossible to write there, the screen constantly jumps to the top part, you can't see the text you're writing, the keyboard constantly jumps off. It's actually quite difficult because Notion doesn't have the Russian language. And this is, of course, a huge oversight, because there are many Russian-speaking users of Notion. So it was quite difficult. If it were possible to directly connect Notion with TickTick from the app, it would be much more convenient.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for managing clients, creating interactive folders for planning and tracking workouts and dietary changes. It helps me organize ideas and plans in a beautiful format and maintain a content plan so I don't forget anything.

 ### 19. The Essential Tool for Team Connectivity and Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shahbas M. | Lead Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how Notion's databases and linked relations tie tasks, projects, and documents together, keeping everything connected and searchable in one place instead of scattered across tools. The flexibility of having databases, linked relations, and documents all in one place lets me build the exact workflow my team needs. I find the search and AI features work especially well, allowing me to find anything across the whole workspace in seconds. Additionally, the templates make it easy to spin up consistent specs, bug reports, and meeting notes without starting from scratch each time. The initial setup was straightforward, with templates providing a solid starting point, and once we designed our database structure and linked relations, onboarding the rest of the team was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find the mobile app sluggish when dealing with large, complex databases, and loading big pages can be slow. There's a steeper learning curve for new team members, which could be improved with interactive tutorials and role-based templates to make onboarding smoother. I'd also love more powerful offline support for full offline editing with reliable sync to help when traveling or on unstable connections. Handling large databases could be better with faster filtering, sorting, and loading for databases with thousands of rows, and clearer performance with many linked relations and rollups involved.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to have all tasks, projects, and documentation connected in one place, keeping everything organized and searchable, which prevents losing context. Sprint views provide my team visibility into the project's current state.

 ### 20. Super Customizable and Intuitive Once You Get the Hang of It

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It's highly customizable and fairly intuitive once you get the hang of it. You can tailor nearly every aspect to fit your workflow, and while there's a bit of a learning curve at first, the interface and logic quickly start to feel natural. Within a short time, most people find themselves navigating it with ease and shaping it to work exactly the way they want.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The beginning was confusing there's a lot going on, and it wasn't immediately clear where to start or how the different pieces (pages, databases, blocks, templates) fit together. I ended up clicking around a lot just to get a feel for things. Not sure if there's an official demo or tutorial on how to use Notion, but that probably would've saved me some time upfront instead of figuring it out through trial and error.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping a database for all our company info is great instead of things being scattered across emails, docs, and random spreadsheets, everything lives in one organized place that's easy to search and reference. It makes onboarding new people, tracking updates, and staying on the same page as a team so much simpler.

 ### 21. Unmatched Customization and Integration for Our Agency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dillon O. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I own a digital marketing agency called MGMT Digital, and Notion really helps us with everything from project management to tasks to client reporting. It acts as a bank for a lot of AI work we're doing, from context within chats to saving data in databases. Notion is basically the engine that runs most of our system. I appreciate how detailed you can go with Notion, thanks to my background in web development and technical areas. They're keeping updated with integrations, and I haven't found any software that can't connect to Notion. I really like the custom capabilities and no limitations with the integrations we can use. The custom charts and different elements are great for making data viewable and understandable for clients and team members. The page and database-level access lets us control who sees what, which is great for our business with multiple layers. The ease and intuitiveness of setup were amazing, and they have great help and introduction. It was very easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think messaging is one thing that could be refined a bit further. We use Google Chats for all of our messaging, and I'd like to see something like Slack where Notion could integrate all different communication channels into one place. Since everything already lives on Notion that we do as an agency, I don't see why we couldn't just also use Notion for communication as well.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to solve data fragmentation by centralizing documents, media, and client reports. Its custom capabilities and direct API access enhance client presentations. Notion supports my growing team by centralizing SOPs and tasks, providing clarity and efficiency.

 ### 22. Centralize Information and Improve Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo Adrián F. | Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the ability to adapt Notion to many cases. The organization of text, the use of to-dos and checkboxes are super powerful. Additionally, the integration with web pages, where I can link them with Supersoft, makes everything centralized in one place. This allows generating, creating, and modifying everything through a single workflow, which is very powerful because it avoids many conflicts, generally communication problems and password issues. I also appreciate how everything remains centralized and organized, and it is really useful for sharing synchronized blocks and automatically updating information. This facilitates project management and communication with clients.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Yes, I believe that since this tool is so sophisticated, it makes the learning curve very steep for people who have not interacted with Notion. Additionally, it changes several paradigms of organization and the way we interact with information. Honestly, I don't think it's possible to eliminate or reduce this, but I think it's a task that needs to be done, gradually changing the paradigms. So, perhaps having a very specific Notion course to change these paradigms beyond what exists, which I've seen are tutorial videos on how to use it, beyond that, how the paradigms change when you use Notion. So, it would be great if Notion had it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to centralize all my information, which makes it easier for me to organize and access it quickly. I can also integrate and sync content with web pages, improving my communication and avoiding conflicts by having everything updated in one place.

 ### 23. Intuitive UI, Powerful Integrations, and an Improving AI Chat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

- Databases + linked views let me manage recurring monthly accounting/treasury closes with structured checklists, reconciliation tracking, and vendor/rent payment lists.
- AI Chat / Q&A has become genuinely useful for pulling answers out of hundreds of pages of specs, decision memos, and reports without hunting through folders. It keeps getting better with each update.
- Integrations (Slack, calendar, and other connected tools) let me centralize context from across apps into one workspace instead of jumping between them.
- Performance is solid for everyday work: pages load quickly, real-time collaboration is smooth, and I can move between notes, databases, and projects without friction.
- Strong ROI on pricing: Notion replaces several separate tools (docs, wikis, task tracker, lightweight database, and now AI assistant) in one subscription, so the value per seat is hard to beat for a team our size.
- Easy onboarding and helpful support: the UI is intuitive enough that non-technical collaborators can jump in and start editing shared docs immediately with almost no ramp-up, and the documentation and support resources make it easy to get unblocked when I'm setting up something new.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

- Guest management is harder than it should be. As someone who manages multiple workspaces, I find it difficult to get a clear view of which guest has access to which page (Settings → People → Guests). When I need to revoke a guest's access to some pages while keeping others, it's not straightforward. This area really needs a better overview and more granular controls.

- Offline access is limited, which is frustrating when I need to reference or edit pages without a stable connection.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bring all the resources together. It's the go to place for my personal and business life. There are other tools as well but definitely Notion's user experience is much much better.

 ### 24. Effortless Team Coordination with Robust Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole Beatriz S. | Digital Marketing Manager -VA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the free templates in Notion because they are editable and give off a creative vibe. I also appreciate its integration capabilities, like connecting with Claude and syncing events on my Google Calendar. It's easy for my team to see high-priority items since everything is in one platform, eliminating the need to switch between different tools. Notion also solves problems like creating SOPs and KPIs for the team, making the whole process much easier and easy to manage, all in just three steps. The initial setup was very easy, which made transitioning to it smooth.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think it would be great if we can just add one person overall instead of adding them to each project separately; that would be better.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves creating SOPs and KPIs for my team. It simplifies coordination by showing priorities on one platform without needing to exit. The free templates and Google Calendar integration make it easy to manage tasks and streamline team processes.

 ### 25. Versatile Project Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion's versatility and ability to adapt its interface for different purposes. Its design and simplicity are also things I enjoy. The versatility of building in blocks allows each page to be adapted and configured as a unique custom-designed platform for each project. I consider it as a SSOT for all my projects, which helps me keep track of daily tasks. It's like a central command center where my teammates can collaborate and ensure they meet deadlines. The initial setup was very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would like the Notion Calendar to be more flexible, with capabilities that almost replicate some of the functions that Notion already has. I would also like to have a desktop version of Notion. A better integration with Google Workspace would be beneficial. Specifically, a two-way connection with Google Calendar would be great, meaning I could manage my Google Calendar in Notion Calendar, which at the same time would reflect and read in Notion's databases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I consider Notion as a SSOT for all my projects, keeping track of daily tasks. It serves as a central command center where my team can collaborate and meet deadlines. The versatility allows each page to be custom-designed for each project.

 ### 26. Powerful Integrations and Intuitive Use, But with Limited Export

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo M. | Cientista de Dados / Desenvolvedor de Sistemas, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to organize my study materials and readings, track my tasks, and summarize meetings. I like the ease of use, as I am not forced to use the more complex functions to achieve a good result. Notion's integrations are very good, allowing me to work in another tool and keep everything synchronized, having a single access point to ensure that the information is up to date.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The export of pages/documents could be better. And for the import, I could be able to choose where I want the document to be placed, for example, already within a page, like a sub-page. Initially, it was a bit complicated to migrate, to understand the way Notion handles pages, I had many options and that confused me a bit at first.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize study materials, track tasks and meeting summaries, as well as integrate workflows. I can manage information quickly, create and publish wikis easily, and monitor projects. The integrations ensure that everything is up-to-date in one place.

 ### 27. All-in-One Task Management, But Could Use a Visual Boost

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I mainly use Notion for bug tracking, task distribution, and keeping the team organised. I really like how flexible the databases and views are, as they make assigning tasks, setting priorities, and tracking progress really straightforward. Notion AI Agent is another big time-saver for me because I can describe what I need and it quickly creates pages and databases without me having to build everything from scratch. Notion was our first choice because of its flexible pricing and the integrations with the tools we already use. It is also fast and reliable in day-to-day use, and whenever we have needed help, the Notion team has been very supportive and quick to respond. Overall, it has made our workflow much simpler and more organised.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think if Notion works more on the visuals part/UI part that will really ease the work because it is not visually appealing but yes, it gets the job done.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to consolidate all my work in one place, like task and bug tracking, which enhances team visibility instead of juggling multiple tools like Slack, Notes, and Google Sheets.

 ### 28. Flexible and Versatile, But Needs Smoother Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for both work and personal trip planning. I love its flexibility—it's great that I can set up pages however I want, like a work project tracker or a trip planning board with itineraries and checklists all in one spot. It adapts to my needs instead of forcing me into a rigid structure. The flexibility means I don't need separate tools for different parts of my life. I can quickly duplicate or tweak a template, making setting up a new project or trip itinerary easy, taking just minutes.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The main downsides for me are that it can feel a bit slow to load sometimes, especially on mobile, and there's a learning curve at first since there are so many ways to structure things. Offline access also isn't as smooth as I'd like.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep everything organized in one place for work and personal plans. It's flexible, letting me customize pages easily, saving time on setup. However, it can be slow on mobile, and there's a learning curve initially.

 ### 29. A Total Game-Changer: Meeting Notes, Notion AI, and Powerful Databases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

That it can be as simple as creating pages where you can write notes and store them with structure, right through to the absolute game changer of the meeting notes. I LOVE this SO much. Using it on a call it runs discreetly in the background. I love that when my memory fails me I can just ask my Notion AI assistant to tell me what the person *actually* said or what the agreed approach *really* was. Or I can even as AI to write the proposal I've just come off the call from - I hate writing proposals so this really is a great save for me.
Given the way my mind works, actually being able to design and build databases without knowing a single like of SQL is a total game changer for me.
I've integrated Notion with my Google Drive, so it searches across both environments with a search engine that is truly impressive (and I've designed how search engines should work for some large clients).
It's super fast, even on my 5 year old Mac's. Being able to save things for offline working is super helpful if I want to take my iPad out and about for working.
Price wise, what you get for what you pay is utterly unbelievable. Pay for the business licence and you don't need a separate GenAI licence. It's also much better in terms of price comparison to something like Airtable (where you're being capped out on the number of items you can store in a table, frustrating when you're building a taxonomy).
I've used Notion in a few different settings, and signed up for a new account for the new thing I'm creating, so I can say the support and onboarding has gone from good to absolutely amazing.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

That you could go a bit too deep and too wide when creating databases. Also great when you're the only person using it because you can set the terms of how it works.
And that they're discontinuing their Mail client, I don't set agents to manage my mail because it's rarely stuff I need to act on. So that's a bit of a bummer.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well it helps when I have brain fog after being on a call with a client. It's letting me build a business that is centred around my own datasets which I'm aiming to monetise. 5 or 10 years ago, I would have needed to know how to build and code in SQL to do what I'm doing with a UI and an AI agent - which leaves me free to create the content.

 ### 30. The ultimate workspace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos R. | Customer Success Supervisor, Renewables & Environment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Everything in Notion is a "block"—a paragraph, an image, a check-box, or an entire embedded file. Because of this, you can just drag and drop elements around the page to redesign your workspace on the fly. It makes formatting feel incredibly fluid.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Because it’s a "blank canvas," it can be incredibly overwhelming for beginners. There’s no set structure when you open a new page, so if you don't know how to use databases, relations, or rollups, you can end up spending hours watching YouTube tutorials just trying to figure out how to organize your day.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because everything lives in one tool, I don't have to spend 10 minutes digging through old emails, Slack threads, or different apps to find a specific link or note. It acts as a "single source of truth," which saves a massive amount of mental energy and time.

 ### 31. Streamlined Collaboration with Room for AI Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gleb K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion for its great folder structure, which makes it easy to organize meeting notes, reports, and useful links for each of our dozens of customers. The editing experience is nice, and everything looks good, which I really appreciate. I also enjoy how fast Notion is, which streamlines our internal and client collaboration. The initial setup was very easy, and it has evolved with us over time. I like how it's connected to all our stack, including tools like Clickup and Google Drive, which simplifies our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest gap for us is Notion AI seat allocation - we only can apply it to the whole org, which is a waste for us. Only a few people on the team use it, but we have to pay for all users. That's why we stopped using Notion AI.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Notion as an internal knowledge base and store all meeting notes in it. It allows us to collaborate internally and with clients, making it easy to share all core items.

 ### 32. User-Friendly and Time-Saving for Fast-Paced Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for project management and note-taking and it allows me to very quickly find and sort information. I love the AI assistant as it helps me get what I need when I'm in a rush. I like how it's easy to use, very user-focused, and I don't need to click too many times to get to where I need to be. It's no fuss, which is exactly the type of thing I value in my fast-paced work. Notion saves me time and effort, and I find it a lot more user-friendly and project-friendly compared to GitHub. Notion allows for extensive collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would like Notion to be able to draft things for me, like 'draft me x y z', which would help me get a couple of steps ahead when planning projects. The ability for AI to draft my projects would be very valuable.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion lets me quickly find and organize info, create projects, and use AI assistance under time pressure. Its user-friendly, no-fuss interface saves me time and effort within a fast-paced environment.

 ### 33. Polished UX and AI Meeting Notes That Keep Everything in Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is its polished modern UX (especially compared to some of its more enterprise-focused competitors) and how seamlessly its apps work together. The AI Meeting Notes feature has been a game-changer for me: it lets me stay focused in a meeting while reliably capturing the discussion, key decisions, and action items. I also use the AI assistant regularly to find information, summarize content, and refine my work. The integration with Notion Calendar and Mail makes the overall experience even more cohesive, reducing the need to constantly switch between separate apps.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The main drawback for me is that the navigation can feel overwhelming. Within Home, there are many different sections (including Private, Favorites, Recents, Agents, Shared, and Teamspaces) and it takes time to understand what belongs where and how the sections differ. I would appreciate a simpler, more intuitive navigation structure that makes it easier to find the right content quickly.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me reduce information fragmentation and the time spent switching between tools. Together with Notion Calendar and Mail, it creates a more connected workflow and helps me keep my work organized in one ecosystem.

 ### 34. Notion’s Flexibility Makes It a Powerful Single Source of Truth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is how flexible and customisable it is. I can use it for everything from task management and project tracking to writing policies, procedures, and team documentation, all in one place. I also appreciate being able to build databases, dashboards, and templates that fit the way our team works. That makes it easier to stay organised, collaborate with others, and quickly find the information I need. Having a single source of truth for both projects and documentation has made my workflow much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest downside is the initial learning curve. Because Notion is so flexible, it can take some time to understand the best way to structure workspaces, databases, and automations. I also wish some features were a little more intuitive, as it can occasionally take a few clicks to find settings or configure pages the way I want. Once everything is set up, though, it’s a very powerful and easy-to-use platform.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of having information scattered across multiple tools. We use it as a central hub for task management, project tracking, and documenting policies and procedures, so everything is organised and easy to find. This has improved collaboration, made it easier to keep documentation up to date, and helped ensure everyone is working from the latest information. For me, it saves time, keeps my workload organised, and makes managing projects and daily tasks much more efficient.

 ### 35. Flexible, User-Friendly Platform with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CARL M. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The flexibility to build what we want as a business and produce varied content depending on the needs of the users/. The integration through zapier, mcp, and now Microsoft add as a lot to the business at a pretty good price point.
Users of varying skills have been able to adapt and make use of the system through great UI

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The custom agent pricing could be better and makes budgeting and the decision on how to role out harder, even though the AI itself is great.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling collaboration within the senior team at a great level as well as enabling the use of AI (Generally and in notion build) to personalise the experience

 ### 36. Customizable and Essential for Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Génésia G. | Professeure d'Anglais, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion can do everything in one place, which is super helpful as I juggle multiple devices like my phone, iPad, MacBook, and iMac. The customization options are fantastic, letting me solve various organizational challenges I face in my daily life as a graphic designer. I really enjoy the feature of interconnecting databases which helps me manage tasks, track progress, and link important aspects like client details and meeting notes easily. The search bar in Notion is incredibly useful for finding things quickly. I also appreciate how Notion listens to user feedback and improves the platform based on user requests. Lastly, the setup was always super easy, and I never worry about getting stuck. There are so many creators and templates available that make customization even more engaging.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Maybe it's how fast it is on mobile devices. Also, handling multiple calendars in Notion can be challenging. I have so many calendars for different things like personal tasks, freelance tasks, events, and workouts, and it's tough to oversee everything at a glance. Sometimes, it feels hard to juggle all these things together and view them all at once in Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to manage personal projects, organize tasks, and keep notes. Its customizability helps solve every organizational problem I encounter. Interconnecting databases allow me to link tasks, check progress, and manage client interactions efficiently.

 ### 37. Super Organized Docs and Powerful AI Search That Finds Answers Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that it's super organized, and I love the AI feature. I think they're well above anyone else, where you can just go and talk to the AI to build anything you want or find anything you want. You can have a thousand different documents, everything organized, and then the AI just gets it for you. You can even ask specific questions like, "Hey, what am I supposed to do in this specific case?" The AI will find the information, whereas in the past, that would make 300 SOPs. It works, but then you have to remember, "Well, wait, where is that information?" and go there and spend five minutes. Especially for team members, they would not even know where it was, so they would look at a separate folder or separate documents, where they might have to read through the whole document. It was a nightmare.

Now you could just ask AI. Not only is everything organized, you don't have to organize it. AI will organize it for you, but also AI can find specific information for you. In general, what you do is you just go to AI and say, "Hey, give me this information here." I will tell you and add a link to the document if you want to and actually read more details about it. It's just so easy.

Also, I love the databases. You have so many options to use it as kind of a project management, idea management, to-do list, where you can put things as done and dates, and really organize everything very easily.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think only the price is a downside. I feel like the AI is a bit expensive at $20 a month. It would be more reasonable at maybe $5 or $8 a month, at least for light users. It feels like if you pay $20 a month, you have a lot of usage, and if you pay less than that, you have no usage at all. Maybe some kind of balance there.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all the documents from my company in one place and having people be able to just ask AI is such a huge time saver. They don't have to slack anyone to ask the question. They can actually just ask Notion AI. That's huge.

The other thing is also for me, for my personal productivity. I'm now putting my tasks inside of Notion because we use ClickUp. If I'm on my phone, I have an idea or I know I want to prioritize something, it's much easier for me to go into Notion, take a quick note. I've made a database of things I need to do this week, next week, and today, and it's just simple.

I also build them in ClickUp, but at least when I'm on my phone, I can put ideas in there. I can put priorities in there, and it helps me really stay organized without any effort.

I used to use Google Keep, but it's just not great because you can't provide details. You have a hundred notes. In Notion, with databases, it's so easy to classify everything. Ideas will live, and things that I actually want to do will live in the to-do list. I can just offload my mind, put everything in there, and then every day or every week, I can quickly review and change the status of things if there's an idea that I actually want to work on.

I don't have to put it somewhere else and think about it. In Google Keep, you would have to copy-paste somewhere else. It was just a drag, whereas in Notion, you just change a custom field, and that's it. It's great.

 ### 38. Essential tool for everyday work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary C. V. | IT & Digital Recruitment Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It is one of the tools I use in day-to-day management to document and track various projects and internal improvements. I find it easy to integrate with Slack and Google Drive. Also, now with artificial intelligence, you can ask the assistant anything, and the responses are usually very accurate.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

They do not have efficient management to obtain metrics and/or KPIs; therefore, it is not possible to centralize all the information there.

**Recommendations to others considering Notion:**

If you need to measure management, you will have to prepare to increase or use additional tools that complement the information obtained from Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing is to have organized and transparent documentation for the entire company. Daily management topics are covered with Notion, as long as metrics are not required.

 ### 39. Ultimate Customizability, Minor AI Drawbacks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for keeping notes, overviewing projects, collaborating with team members, building small websites, and managing my finances. It's basically everything I do life-structuring-wise. I really like its customizability; I can create almost everything. This aspect has improved a lot over the last few years. Notion adds value by giving me no incentive to move to another application as I can do anything within it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The AI functionality is still a bit troublesome. Having to pay extra for it demotivates me. I already pay for Claude and ChatGPT, so also having to pay for Notion AI doesn't really work. I'd rather see the possibility to log in to Claude within Notion to use my account there. The initial setup took some time, and I had to read a book about Notion to get started.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Notion helps in creating an overview of my projects efficiently. Its customizability means I can structure everything life-related in one place, from notes to team collaboration, without needing to switch apps.

 ### 40. Effortless Knowledge Sharing with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vandan G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really appreciate how Notion has helped me with documenting and sharing the knowledge base with my team. It's been great for building up tasks among us. I also like using Notion's AI, which can create tasks and assign them based on user activity. It helps with summarizing notes and managing documentation on a single page. Setting up workspaces and assigning tasks in Notion was extremely easy for us. Overall, it's been really structured and organized, and I have no complaints with Notion so far.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'd say the need of finding a document from 100s. When I'd forget what name I kept. But I'd say there's barely anything that i dislike about notion. It's being pretty good with integrations and thats what we used it for. Worked well every-time, No complains.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me document and share knowledge with my team and manage tasks efficiently. I've also used Notion AI for summarizing notes and assigning tasks based on user activity.

 ### 41. Perfect tool for hobbyists!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to track my movie and TV show watchlist, and I find it immensely helpful for organizing my watch history. I love that Notion is like an 'infinite canvas' where I can build and customize anything just the way I envision. Its cross-device compatibility lets me log movies or thoughts on my phone and reorganize later on my desktop, saving me so much time. The customization options are a huge plus, like adding banners, custom buttons, changing fonts, and linking pages. It's like an easily buildable ecosystem. The Notion AI is especially valuable, as it helps me create new pages on my watchlist and is integrated well into my workspace. It helps with cross-referencing old movies and finding new ones and even provides recommendations and web cross-references. Notion's setup was easy, and the onboarding feature was really helpful. I like Notion's help documentation and how easy it is to learn with Notion AI. Overall, it's really fun to use, and quite easy to pick up.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I've noticed that they've decreased the quotas like free blocks, which is not a big deal but it limits my ability to add more movies. I've had to create multiple workspaces to continue my movie list. It would be nice if they increased the amount of content I can add per page. Sometimes there are lagging issues, which I guess are expected since loading over a hundred movie posters can be demanding, but optimizing performance for situations like mine would be wonderful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love Notion as an 'infinite canvas' for customizable projects and instant cross-device note-taking. It boosts my creativity and AI integration enhances watchlist management. The main issues are decreased content quotas and performance lag with large pages. Increasing page content and optimizing performance would be helpful.

 ### 42. Customizable Workspace, Great for Technical Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Đặng T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the infinite customization that Notion offers, allowing me to build tailored databases, templates, and dashboards that fit my engineering workflows perfectly instead of conforming to rigid structures. I appreciate the all-in-one integration, where notes, tasks, documents, and databases come together in a cohesive ecosystem, eliminating the friction of switching between multiple apps. The clean and intuitive interface makes organizing complex technical specifications and large knowledge bases easy to navigate. I also find the intuitive template library very helpful; leveraging pre-built templates for task tracking and wikis allowed us to get started quickly without building everything from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that setting up advanced databases, relations, and customized dashboards in Notion comes with a steep learning curve, requiring a significant time investment that can slow down onboarding for team members. I also notice that the mobile app can occasionally feel sluggish or heavy, especially when loading large, data-intensive engineering pages and complex nested databases. Additionally, I'm frustrated with the limited offline functionality, as it makes it difficult to review or update extensive documentation reliably while on the go.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion centralizes my technical notes and project tracking, eliminating silos and scattered spreadsheets. It connects tasks, resources, and documentation, reducing context switching in engineering projects.

 ### 43. Total versatility: a single source of truth for product and documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I value most is versatility: you can model complex relational databases and at the same time use it as a knowledge base for product management. In our team, we use it both to track the status of features and discoveries and to document processes, which allows us to have a single source of truth without relying on multiple separate tools.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The initial learning curve is steep: for new users, understanding how to structure databases, relationships, and views takes time before becoming productive. Additionally, the AI module has a cost that, from the Finance area, is considered high in relation to the value it provides today, which makes it difficult to justify an expansion of AI licenses to the entire team.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we had everything spread out between Google Sheets and other scattered tools, which made it difficult to keep everything updated and connected. With Notion, we have everything in one place: discoveries, features, process documentation, all interlinked. It's much more dynamic than working with separate spreadsheets, and it allows us to see the real status of each initiative without having to look for information in five different places.

 ### 44. Effortless Meeting Management with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick D. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion for how easy it is to take notes on various topics. The ability to record meetings is invaluable because I can do it effortlessly on Notion regardless of the platform, be it Teams, Slack, or Zoom, without needing permission. This feature is super valuable for capturing audio that I'd otherwise struggle to record. Additionally, I really enjoy the AI assistant in Notion. It not only reads my notes and provides outputs but also helps structure the notes created within Notion. I appreciate how it aids in organizing my folders, enhancing my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Whenever i record a meeting the name that appear on the left hand side menu is when the meeting happened, not the name of the meeting .

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion makes it easy for me to record meetings without needing permission, which is great for Teams where I can't start recordings. I get transcriptions, define next steps, and send automatic messages. It's valuable to record meetings from any platform.

 ### 45. Incredible Time Saving with Notion AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariel S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion both for studying and working, and I love how I can divide it into sections based on my needs, such as university subjects or work tasks. What I highlight the most is Notion AI, whose transcription and summarization functionality is spectacular. Although there are some words it sometimes doesn't detect correctly, it is still very useful, especially because it can be used with computer or microphone audio. It saves me a lot of time that I would have to spend reading transcriptions, as the summaries are very accurate. Additionally, it is very flexible in the type of input it receives for transcription, which is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What sometimes caused me problems is that if the Meeting Notes functionality was set in Spanish, it sometimes gets reset by some Notion update and reconfigures itself in English. The problem with that is that after the transcription and summary are done, I can't change it to make it in Spanish. It would be good to improve that. I feel that the onboarding could be improved a bit for people who are not so accustomed to these types of complex tools, maybe having Notion AI help a bit to guide how to set up your workspace.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to have centralized information, make summaries of classes and meetings, and manage my tasks and calendar. Notion AI saves a lot of time by creating accurate summaries and quickly finding notes.

 ### 46. Transformative Tool for Organization with Minor Mobile Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthur S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion helps me organize my life, covering notifications, work, and personal aspects. I like the databases, and the fact that they continue to expand and have improved a lot over the years. They're really core to my work and beneficial for organizing projects and day-to-day workflows. Notion has always been good and is just getting better. I highly recommend Notion because it's a more robust platform compared to others like OneNote, and I wouldn't want to switch.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion could be a little buggy at times, especially with the mobile experience. I've been dealing with issues where if something is in a callout box or a sync box, and I try to highlight text, it won't let me. There's also a menu that comes up that won't allow me to copy and paste, which is challenging and forces me to use the desktop version more often.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me organize my life and work efficiently, acting like my brain on paper. The database feature organizes my workflow, but the mobile version can be buggy, limiting text highlighting and copying, which forces me to use the desktop version more often.

 ### 47. Notion Is My All-in-One Hub for Study, Projects, and Seamless AI Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for literally everything: organizing and creating adaptable study schedules for the MCAT, drafting and tracking job applications, organizing my sewing projects, creating inventory databases of fabrics/nail polish/veggie seeds, etc. Integrations with Google Calendar/Gmail and video conferencing platforms allow for seamless workflows and meeting transcripts. It is also one of the most cost-effective ways to access AI models like Claude (my favorite), ChatGPT, and Gemini. Being able to drag and drop or copy over photos and documents makes life so much easier. I have really enjoyed some of the downloadable AI instruction templates from the community (like the trip planning one). It has also improved my written work and overall AI fluency because of the accessible interface. It works quickly, and being able to have multiple chats running in parallel is a godsend when life is busy. I am the worst millennial when it comes to tech, but the user-friendly interface and the plethora of support videos and information available always reduce any friction that I naturally experience when learning new features or capabilities. I seriously talk about Notion to my friends and family all the time and sing its praises constantly.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish I had a referral code or discount code to give friends and family! Also, I wish I could generate photos using Gemini straight in Notion instead of having to go to Google to do so. I also find the credit system for AI agents to be prohibitively expensive, but I understand why that is , and it is not a huge deal for me and what I use Notion for.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning out and coordinating my job search, from creating a user-friendly and eye-pleasing dashboard to check and track where all of my applications are at (including application stage, drafted and submitted resumes, modifying my LaTeX template code that I use for my resume and cover letters, networking channels, etc)

The biggest use case is helping with self-accommodations for ADHD. I have severe ADHD, and while behavioral and prescription interventions help, Notion has been essential to helping me improve my executive functioning skills (like organization) and helping reduce unnecessary cognitive load so I can focus on what I actually need to be doing. I feel like I can honestly offload some of the cognitive/organizational tasks that I struggle with for the first time in my life. Notion has helped me create, modify, and track my progress towards personal goals (like studying for the MCAT and getting a new job following my layoff). It has provided me with the benefits of an ADHD coach + admin all rolled into one program (and at a fraction of the cost). I really wish this was available when I was in college as it would have helped so much!

 ### 48. Flexible Notion Pages and AI Meeting Notes That Fit Any Project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the ability to make notion fit to whatever functionality you need. I can construct a new page to fit any project that comes up and notion provides the options for that. I use the page within a page most often and it helps me track my networking. I use the AI meeting function to record conversations and take notes on the person.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like how excel does not integrate well. Copy and pasting from notion to excel isn't always the simplest and I will always need to use both so it would be helpful to have copy/paste be more seamless.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am highly organized, but I need a tool that can be as depthful as notion to keep up with me. Notion has solved the issue of my disorganization in networking. I needed something more sophisticated than just a list of people I had connected with, and with notion I was able to prepare my questions for the person, record the conversation, and write a follow up email all in one place.

 ### 49. Seamless Notion Integrations and Notion AI for Fast Dashboards and Writing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has a built-in integration that’s simple to use and doesn’t require any third-party apps. I can easily connect it to my messaging platform, where I can set up an automation to create a new database for me. I can also build a dashboard using Notion AI, and it’s very easy to write prompts. The graphs and tracking were clear, and I created everything in just minutes. Since our data is already in Notion, it can pull up a lot of things quickly. There’s also knowledge help that supports any questions I have. Overall, Notion offers a lot of features for organization and article writing, which helps us create articles and databases based on day to day performance. it's seamless.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

When writing articles, it's so hard to locate the shortcuts when to create indent or remove indent. How to align the text when you multiple headers. The writing page have lines and once you control all to select and maybe change the format, I have a hard time fixing the correct indentions.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using notion more on tracking billing issues, knowledge base and creating dashboard. Notion AI helps a lot when I have no time to search. Just one click and you will have the answer. It's also a great notepad fr personal tracking.

 ### 50. Project Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has become the central hub for our team. We use it to manage projects, document processes, track tasks, and keep everyone aligned on priorities. The databases, templates, and collaborative editing make it easy to standardize workflows and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It's significantly improved communication across teams by giving everyone a single source of truth, reducing back-and-forth and making it easier to stay organized as projects evolve.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest drawback is the initial learning curve. Because Notion is so customizable, it can feel overwhelming when you’re first getting started—especially if you’re building databases, templates, or more advanced workflows. It takes time to understand how everything connects and to set up a workspace that actually works well for you. That said, once you’ve invested that effort, the flexibility becomes one of its greatest strengths, and the platform starts to feel much more intuitive to use.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion has solved the challenge of keeping our team’s information, communication, and project documentation in one centralized place. Before we started using it, important details were often scattered across emails, chats, and separate documents, which made it hard to stay aligned. Now we have a single source of truth for meeting notes, SOPs, project tracking, and team updates. As a result, collaboration has improved, miscommunication has decreased, and it’s much easier to find what we need quickly—helping our team work more efficiently while staying focused on priorities.
