## Notion Reviews
 ### 1. Versatile Tool with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stepheni M. | Member Board of Directors, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion for organizing our documentation and ensuring the team is knowledgeable. We primarily use the database features to organize or track information, and I find the AI meeting notes and the lists and to-dos features to be particularly valuable.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find setting up Notion challenging, especially for my team members who aren't technologically inclined. The blank space can be more of a challenge than a value for them, as it requires thinking about the architecture of information. It's difficult for those who aren't good at this aspect to understand how to find information and track various data points. I wish there were more out-of-the-box options or a simpler way for the AI to help explain what we're looking for.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize our documentation, ensuring the team is knowledgeable.

 ### 2. Powerful Organization Tool with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love having a centralized place to keep everything with Notion, which helps me keep it organized by project and link blocks between different projects and pages. I do enjoy the database feature, and I love the customizable nature of this feature as it lets me do so much. The initial setup and usage was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While I enjoy the flexibility of Notion, I find the learning curve to be quite steep due to its high customizability. It can be a bit confusing to use it effectively as a project tracker, and I often get bogged down trying to figure out how to make it do what I want.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love having a centralized place in Notion for documents and progress, organizing by project, and linking between related projects and tasks.

 ### 3. Fragmentation and segmentation powerhouse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddharth S. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It is one of the best apps that has consistently performed its primary job. For me, it was categorisation and having a minimalist UI app which does it. On top of that it has introduced a lot more new features which support different app integrations along with AI.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes the app feels cluttered and a little too overwhelming to use with all shortcuts and efficiency tips.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Notion solves for me is fragmentation. Before I started using it, my life was scattered across a dozen different apps: one for quick notes, another for complex spreadsheets, a separate tool for task management, and physical notebooks for my long-term goals. Notion pulled all of those into a single "command centre," which has been a massive relief for my mental bandwidth.

 ### 4. Flexible, Easy-to-Use Workspace That Keeps Everything Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teboho P. | Backend Engineer, Broadcast Media, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility and ease of use. It helps keep notes, tasks, documentation, and projects organized in one place, which improves productivity and collaboration. The customizable layouts and clean interface make it simple to adapt to different workflows.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One downside of Notion is that it can sometimes feel slow when working with large databases or complex pages. The offline functionality is also limited compared to some other productivity tools, and there can be a learning curve when setting up more advanced workflows and automations.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps centralize documentation, task management, and team collaboration in one platform. It reduces information silos, improves organization, and makes it easier to track projects and share knowledge across teams, which saves time and improves productivity.

 ### 5. Notion's Easy Setup and Robust Features Empower Our Small Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as a knowledge repository for our business, and it's become a place where we can aggregate all of our data. I really like that it's a secure environment and easy to use. Creating workspaces for each of our clients and storing their data separately makes it easy to find and use information. I appreciate that setup was easy and straightforward, allowing us to use it efficiently. I also developed a project management system within Notion to track client projects, which is really helpful. Additionally, we use Notion for AI note-taking and to produce reports for our clients efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would like to see more tips and practical how to use the tool with other AI Tolls. videos on the platform

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to aggregate data, creating information we used to produce manually, and it provides a secure environment. We can easily create client workspaces, transcribe meeting notes, and develop AI agents for reports, saving us time and effort.

 ### 6. NotionAI saves time, but isn't without flaws

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

NotionAI saves me a lot of time when I need to fill out timesheets based on specific tasks from my browser history, or when I’m pulling information from multiple sources into a single page. It’s also great at identifying company names from URLs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

NotionAI has its limitations. It tends to struggle with finding dedicated contacts at a company, and it only successfully pulls generic contact information for about 30% of the opportunities at any given time. Additionally, it Notion in general isn't as user friendly as I imagined it to be and the AI agents don't always do what you tell them to, and don't always properly identify what's causing them to glitch.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NotionAI is helping our team streamline manually tasks and can save a single employee 2-3 hours of their workweek.

 ### 7. Clean, Calm, and Flexible Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Somshekhar H. | Tech Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion’s interface is very clean and calm. It feels much less intimidating, and it’s flexible to use.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion is not intuitive at all. It’s not really learnable for a beginner; the learning curve feels like a straight line parallel to the y-axis. It’s marketed as an app where u can "just get the things done". It does look cool and calm, but it’s mentally very expensive even for an experienced user.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a business perspective, Notion is great for organizing Google Docs, PDFs, spreadsheets, and similar files. A lot of managers aren’t always aware of what their employees are working on day to day, so this app gives them a clear heads-up on what’s happening. As a result, it can cut down on unnecessary meetings and help prevent miscommunication.

 ### 8. Intuitive AI Assistant That Builds Beautifully From Simple Requests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie W. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The AI assistant is intuitive and makes the changes I need. I just describe what I want and it builds beautifully and moves my data around for me if I ask it to.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I’m not a technical person, but better than my peers. It took a little while to understand how it works.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a domain first solo founder of an AI native healthcare enterprise platform. Notion helps me organize and track all the moving parts of building a company from the ground up. I don’t know what I would do without it.

 ### 9. Notion: A Flexible All-in-One Workspace That Keeps Everything Organised

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is an incredibly flexible and useful all-in-one workspace. I use it to manage my business, organise projects and products, collaborate with colleagues, and document processes, records, and other important information. The customisable building blocks make it easy to create a workspace that fits the way I work, so everything stays together in one organised place.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The only real downside has been the time and effort it takes to migrate our information, files, and processes from our old systems into Notion. That said, this feels like an unavoidable part of switching to any new platform, rather than a criticism of Notion itself.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves our team time when we’re collaborating on tasks, making it easier to stay aligned and keep work moving.

 ### 10. Notion’s Flexibility Keeps Everything Organized in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khaled M. | Contractor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I think is best about Notion is that everything is connected in one place. It can connect to other programs such as Slack or Google Calendar, and it actually does work well instead of being a mess, so everything remains organized instead of having to use multiple programs. It is also very versatile and can work well on a daily basis, and the AI is useful for summarizing notes or creating content, which can save a lot of time. It is also very reasonably priced for what you receive, and the free version is actually useful for most people’s needs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What I dislike is that once things are scaled up, such as a large database or a complex page, the performance may not be so smooth and may even lag a little. The learning curve is also a reality, and it may take some time to fully grasp how to use everything to the fullest. On top of that, some of the AI capabilities and other advanced features are only available in the higher-tiered plans, and the support is not very guided so that you kind of have to figure it out yourself.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I was facing was that everything in my life was scattered, meaning I had my notes in one place, my tasks in another, and random ideas scattered everywhere. This was making things messy, and I was finding it difficult to keep track of things. However, with Notion, I just put everything in one place, and I’m able to find them later without overthinking.

 ### 11. Seamless Notion–Claude Integration That Organizes Tasks, but Needs More Desktop Color Options

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olga T. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

the fact that it help organize things for me. It is easy for tasks to get out of control, and I love having the ability to use the AI tool to help make the tasks manageable and regroup them into logical areas. The integration between my Notion and Claude is seamless making agentic work for a solopreneur much easier.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish I could customize the overall color more on the desktop. This would help me distinguish it from all the other desktop apps I am running.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of tasks. Reference repository for my SOPs

 ### 12. Flexible Workspace, Great for Project Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ADnan C. | SEO, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like their workspace feature which I use for my SEO content planning, keyword tracking, client task management, and documenting processes. I regularly use databases and calendar views to manage content. Their UI/UX is intuitive, and features like drag-and-drop and templates reduce manual work.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The thing I dislike about Notion is that it can feel slower with larger databases or more complex linked workflows, especially as projects scale.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solve organization and workflow problems by managing content ideas, keyword research, project tasks, and documentation in one place. It helps me to reduce missed deadlines, keeps processes structured, and cuts down on switching between tools.

Its AI features also help with brainstorming and summarizing notes, which saves time, while the overall setup improves productivity and coordination in day-to-day work.

 ### 13. Hands-On Workspace Management with Flexible Document Formats

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parish J. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The thing I like about Notion is its workspace management, along with the multiple document-type formats it can support. It’s also easy to use, and from a user-experience perspective, it feels very hands-on and practical.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Setting up pages, databases, and workflows can take a fair amount of time, especially compared to simpler note-taking apps. I’ve also noticed that performance tends to slow down when I’m working in larger workspaces, and the mobile experience isn’t always as smooth or consistent as the desktop version.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of using separate apps for notes, task management, and project/task tracking, Notion brings everything into one place. Its offline document access also helps us keep our documents available even without an internet connection. It helps my team to keep things organized in one place.

 ### 14. Versatile Personal Organizer with Powerful Databases

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asanda W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love using Notion for tracking daily habits, journaling, managing budgets, and keeping a reading list. Its relational databases help me connect different areas of my life, making it feel like a 'Second Brain'. I appreciate the powerful databases that allow me to view the same information as a calendar, spreadsheet, gallery, or project board with just a click. The feature of having one dataset with infinite views is fantastic because I don't need separate apps for different visualizations. Also, setting up Notion for personal use is incredibly easy, although it does have a steep learning curve if you're aiming for complex systems right away.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The Lack of a true Offline Mode Internet Dependency: Notion requires an active internet connection to load new pages, sync updates, or search. While you can edit already-open pages offline, the lack of a robust, native offline local storage mode means you can easily get locked out of your data while traveling or during a network outage. Notion restricts the creation of brand-new databases or complex layouts while offline.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to build a 'Second Brain,' connecting different life areas through relational databases. With one dataset, I visualize it as needed, eliminating the need for multiple apps.

 ### 15. Super Flexible and Customizable, But Can Feel Slow and Overwhelming

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose P. | Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is how flexible and customizable it is. I can organize my work, notes, and projects in a way that truly fits my workflow. The combination of databases, pages, and templates makes it easy to keep everything connected and visually clear. It’s one of the few tools that adapts to me instead of forcing me to adapt to it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel a bit slow or heavy at times, especially with large databases or when switching between pages. It also has a learning curve — the flexibility is great, but it can be overwhelming for new users. Sometimes I just want to do something simple, and it takes more steps than expected

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me centralize all my information in one place. Instead of using separate tools for notes, tasks, documents, and project tracking, I can manage everything within a single workspace. This solves the problem of having my work scattered across different apps. As a result, I stay more organized, save time, and have a clearer overview of my priorities and progress.

 ### 16. Effective SOP Management, Intuitive AI, Navigation Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina M. | Broker Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I primarily use Notion for organizing my work tasks and managing personal projects. I love how Notion houses all of our SOPs, and I can use Notion AI to figure out next steps. Instead of having to search through a ton of SOPs, I can use the Notion AI chat and give it a couple of key specific phrases about what I'm looking for. It then provides responses or something close to what I'm looking for, so I don't have to navigate a whole bunch of drop downs. Initial setup of Notion was very quick and easy, with no challenges encountered.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't think if you're not using the Notion AI, the navigation of the drop downs, like the carrots, are as intuitive. It gets a little bit confusing on how to navigate and find things within Notion. I wish it was a little bit more user-friendly if you're not familiar with Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for organizing tasks and managing projects. It houses all our SOPs, allowing me to quickly find information and next steps using Notion AI, saving time navigating complex menus.

 ### 17. Powerful, Flexible Database Workspace—But Easy to Overcomplicate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aki T. | Data Strategy and Business Planning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The flexibility with databases, page linkage give me the ability to have a centralized database for my life and work. From things like to do lists, notes that are built up over time, the more and longer i use it, the more knowledge and history there is in there.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It's almost too flexible, and pages can end up being very cluttered and messy, making things get lost a lot. It takes a lot of designing up front in order to get the most out of it. It can be slow sometimes, and working across multiple workspaces isn't smooth too.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing knowledge and notes has been solved with Notion. tracking to dos with my wife etc. has been nice too

 ### 18. Good Integrations and Performance, But Disruptive UI and Too Many Updates

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atharva K. | Senior Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The UI/UX is a bit disturbing. When I’m editing something, it often gets interrupted after I select text, which breaks the flow. The integrations are good, but the email spamming is bad and becomes annoying. Performance-wise, it’s good overall, but there are so many updates that it feels irritating and disruptive. I’ve never needed support, so I can’t really comment on that. The AI is pretty basic and not very efficient.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Updates I don't like and interrupting dialog boxes.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is helping me keep docs intact at one place

 ### 19. Seamless Built-In AI Advisor, Still Early Days to Explore Fully

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that the AI chat advisor is integrated into the product itself, this makes it seamless and straightforward to use.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'm only in the early days and I am a sole-trader, there is only me and it's the summer holidays so it's going to be September time before I am able to explore it to its fullest potential.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am just trying to find a space to condense all of my tabs, sticky notes and some of my files into one space that's easier to navigate.

 ### 20. Great Task Management with Useful Templates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin V. | Full Stack Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for keeping my scheduling and managing my tasks. It helps when working in a team to avoid conflicts by allowing us to assign tasks to users and see who is working on what. I really like its pre-defined templates for task management; they're great. These templates already have fields, so if we're using a content calendar template, for example, it includes fields for the type of content, what we're posting, content descriptions, images, and scheduled tasks, making it easier to manage everything. Setting up Notion was also easy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes changes get lost, and I'm still trying to understand why. Workspace change history could be shown better.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps assign tasks to users, showing who is working on what, which prevents overlapping work and wasted effort.

 ### 21. AI-Powered Work Administration That Makes Finding and Sharing Info Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiroaki O. | Chief Scientific Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It combines traditional work administration with AI support, which makes our work much easier by helping us find important information. It’s also very helpful that we can easily share this information with colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It has a lot of functions, but it is difficult to use at the beginning. I believe the onboading requires some work, which may hinder the initial users to use the services.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing a lot of information in a single service and help us to pick up the information by connecting it with AI.

 ### 22. Powerful AI Feature Enhances Project Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Motakabbir H. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the new AI feature Notion brought, which can create databases and other things just with a single prompt. It's helpful in keeping track of my current and finished projects.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I really think the pricing of the AI feature in Notion is a bit steep. It's hard for freelancers, especially those who are mid-level, because it feels like a huge amount for them. Also, when I started using Notion, I found it super confusing. It felt like I didn't know anything and couldn't do anything. The initial setup was pretty challenging for me.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for project management. It helps me not to lose track of my current and finished projects and creates databases with a single prompt using the AI feature.

 ### 23. Powerful Databases and Custom Views, but the Sidebar Feels Cluttered

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian Y. | Engineering lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Database features make it easy to set up custom views with the ability to tailor it to whatever kinds of information we need to keep track of

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Recently, the increase in the number of features has created a lot of clutter: the things we care most about are the documents and databases, and so many other features now take up the left sidebar and make it difficult for users to get to the things that originally drew us to Notion

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of structured data and information sharing. We can build interfaces that work around structured data in a no-code way and it has the flexibility to work with external tooling via API integrations.

 ### 24. All-in-One Business Hub, Easy Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam P. | Director, Quantitative Risk, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as a central store for all information across our business. I appreciate the API connectivity to Claude and Codex, which means I don't need to enter Notion manually as it handles everything I need. Notion's flexibility, document store, pages, and databases prevent me from needing multiple services. The initial setup was very easy with no challenges.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that Markdown isn't always the best format for everything, and I noticed there's a lack of graphics.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a central store for all our business information. With API connectivity to Codex and Claude, I don't have to enter Notion manually. Its flexibility, document store, pages, and databases mean I don't need multiple services. Setup was very easy and seamless.

 ### 25. Easy Database Cross-Referencing, But Can Get Overwhelming as Pages Pile Up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas S. | COO & Head of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It's very easy to throw up a database and cross-reference that database with another.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It sometimes feels a bit overwhelming, especially if you have a lot of pages that isn't used. We have some sections that are old but we haven't got around to move or archive them. I feel that the ease of use contributes tot adding stuff that doesn't necessarily need to be there.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a business system and defining our needs for a business system at a very low threshold.

 ### 26. Empowers with Versatile Features but Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse D. | System Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for both my startup and as a general place to store notes and do research. I find the agent functionality to be my favorite feature. It's really powerful being able to prompt it to do anything I want, like building out pages or pulling together different information and doing research.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I've had issues with some of the sandboxing, and every time I try to interact or connect with a MCP, I seem to have issues. It's not quite clear on integrating with some things, and I always get lost quite easily with my chats.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for storing notes, research, and leveraging its agent functionality. It lets me build pages and gather information efficiently, enriching my workspace.

 ### 27. Your Go-To Tool for Organized Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for taking notes, managing our projects, and collaborating with the team. It really is our go-to tool for everything related to work. Before Notion, everything was scattered in different places like notes here, docs there. Notion brings everything in one place which makes work much more organized and easier to manage. The flexibility is the best thing; you can make it whatever you want—notes, databases, project tracker, anything. Having everything in one place means no need to switch between five different apps for projects, tasks, team docs, or other work. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It can be a bit slow, especially when you have a lot of pages. It could be smoother and faster.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep everything in one place, making my work more organized and easier to manage. It replaces the need for multiple apps for tasks, team docs, and projects.

 ### 28. A Powerful Knowledge Management and Organization Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan R. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is an extremely flexible tool for organizing information, documentation, and collaboration in one place. The block based structure makes it easy to create pages that combine text, databases, checklists, tables, and embedded content. This flexibility allows teams to build custom workflows for documentation, project management, or knowledge sharing.

I also appreciate how easy it is to organize content with nested pages and linked databases. Collaboration features work smoothly, allowing multiple people to edit and comment in real time. Overall, it provides a very clean and intuitive interface that makes managing internal documentation and knowledge bases much easier.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While Notion is very flexible, that flexibility can sometimes lead to inconsistent structures if teams don’t define clear organization standards. As workspaces grow, navigating large amounts of content can become more difficult. Performance can also slow down slightly when pages contain very large databases or heavy embedded content.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps centralize documentation, notes, and internal processes in one shared platform. Instead of spreading information across multiple tools or documents, everything can be organized in a structured workspace that is easy for the team to access and update. This improves knowledge sharing, reduces duplication of information, and makes it easier for team members to stay aligned.

 ### 29. Notion AI: A Uni Student's Research Companion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ketrelle D.

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion mainly for my studies, especially law at uni. It solves the problem of finding the right cases when I'm in an exam or doing my coursework, making it easier to do research on what a certain case had in the English Case system. Notion AI is particularly valuable because it makes my research much easier, cutting down the time from days to just five minutes. The initial setup was very easy, allowing me to set up different templates to use or make a random page if I don't want a template.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would say the free Notion AI plans because they used to be so good until they made me, like, upgrade it in the middle of me doing an exam, like a research. So I think there should definitely be some sort of, not like make it free again, but probably like, different levels to the subscription, like, you can use your free AI, but it should restart or reset every few months instead of forcing people to pay it after one month.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to solve problem-based questions in law studies. It helps me find the right cases for exams and coursework. Notion AI speeds up my research, reducing it from days to just five minutes.

 ### 30. A Handy Tool for Everyday Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shiny Sushmitha R. | Software Development Engineer (SDE-1), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion because it is simple and easy to use. I can keep my notes, lists, and personal things organized in one place. I also like that I can customize it the way I want.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The main thing I dislike about Notion is that sometimes it takes a little time to find the right option because there are so many features.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me keep my notes and tasks in one place and stay organized.

 ### 31. Fast, Non-Technical Friendly Tool for Designing and Documenting Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It's friendly for non technical people, It allows people to design and document all their stuff without any web design or design knowledge.

It integrates with other tools, it's fast.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Integrations are a bit of a hassle, specially when stuff is behind a paywall. You have to spend 2x on Enterprise just to get stuff that should be availble by default - i.e. restricting on which pages connections can be added

AI is everywhere and that's not always a good thing. Also, it's enforced and you can't turn it off, our users are not clear of if they should use it given we don't have the AI package, and they suddenly run out of credits.

There's a general lack of control from the admin end.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us having a full wiki. Onboarding for new employees is covered, also people can use it for managing their calendar and meeting notes (sometimes also behind a paywall tho)

 ### 32. Great Organizational Tool, Need Better Transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia L. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion's storage and organization functions, which allow me to store all the content within the platform. It practically eliminates the need for other vendors' capabilities, as it weaves multiple sources of information into one platform. Notion's transcription feature is also something I appreciate, despite having some room for improvement.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't love the transcription function and find other vendors to be stronger at this capability. The initial setup was very time-consuming, and we had to hire outside consultants to help us get it to where we wanted it to be.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize data, record calls, and manage dashboards. It eliminates the need for other vendors by storing all content and weaving information into one platform.

 ### 33. Powerful Search, Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashanth S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the powerful search feature in Notion, which helps me retrieve any page, document, or database within just a few seconds of searching. It's incredibly useful, especially when I can't remember where I stored information. Just by using keywords, I can quickly find what I need within the first two or three searches. I think the search tool is the most useful feature for me in Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find it to have a very steep learning curve.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to manage my sales tasks, access company wikis, and handle support tickets. It helps by covering databases and pages, eliminating the need for multiple subscriptions. The agents keep me productive with timely alerts. The powerful search lets me retrieve information swiftly.

 ### 34. Easy Setup, Useful for Document Management, but Needs Improvement for LMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa B. | Director of Field Enablement , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion allows for a uniform interface for the team, making it easy to locate necessary documents, which streamlines the onboarding process. Moreover, I appreciate the simple checklist format within Notion, where team members can see their scheduled tasks and check them off easily. Utilizing notes and emails within Notion as part of the documentation process is also valuable. The initial setup of Notion was very easy, one of the simplest software implementations I've experienced in my career.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Using Notion as a learning management system and a documentation hub doesn't work as efficiently as things like Fox, Highspot, and Allego.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for document storage and onboarding, providing an easy-to-digest platform with a direct checklist for tasks.

 ### 35. Effortless AI Coordination, Needs Desktop Refinement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan F. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion for its ease of use and how it connects to data and agents seamlessly. Setting it up was very easy, and I use it to coordinate my AI agents across projects, which is incredible for keeping everything organized. I also appreciate that all my AI tools can connect to Notion, making it a central hub for managing my planning and research documents. Using the MCP plugin to sync my agents helps keep them streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find the desktop app hectic and confusing.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me coordinate AI agents and manage planning and research documents. It connects all my AI tools, making it easier to sync my agents, so they stay organized even when I don't.

 ### 36. Flexible, Intuitive Notion Workspace for Notes, GTM Strategy, and Sharing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Flexible tool for versatile use - we keep meeting notes in our Notion space, document processes, maintain a calendar view of social media content drafts, publish pages to share with our partners & clients. The fact that we can store all of our GTM strategy & processes there is super valuable! UX-wise - intuitive and easy to use, with drag & drop features. We've never had a performance issue with Notion - no downtime, no glitches. All of this - focus a two digit price/month.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like the fact that default spaces cannot be deleted at all. We've set up another teamspace and so much work has been put in it that I want to keep it but we have a default space that is just present and not used, so we want to clean up our account and get it removed. There's no way of doing this and there should be.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining an internal knowledge base; published pages with resources for our partners; allowing us to plan and track GTM initiatives. We do quite a lot in Notion on GTM and wouldn't use any other tool for that.

 ### 37. Centralizes Projects with Strong Documentation, Lacks Database Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cannelle B. | Motorized Test Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love using Notion for its ability to keep all the information in one place and the ease of assigning tasks, which makes it really easy to track who is responsible for what if something gets stuck. My favorite features in Notion are the databases and how they work interconnectedly, allowing us to work even if we're on different timelines, as well as the agents that act like an assistant to go over everyone's project, checking what needs to be done next and providing meeting summaries. Every time it saves us a lot of time and effort in keeping everything documented. The database properties also give a quick and simple view of everything before diving into details, and the pages help us follow along on projects and see updates easily. Notion's accessibility and the feature of viewing interconnected data from a more visual compiling way is very valuable to my team.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'm struggling with the fact that databases cannot be merged together in Notion. We have several calendars and would love to merge them, but we can't, so we have to navigate them separately. This leads to having everything as a single database, which I don't like. Also, the Ai agent credits management seems to be inconsistent and lacks a clear budget, which complicates things. Sometimes features cost more or less with no clear pattern.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion keeps all our information in one place securely. It help us documents necessary procedures and provides easy access for task assignment and documentation, enhancing team coordination. It's great for IT management and managing tasks across different time zones.

 ### 38. Highly Configurable, Great for Organizing and Sharing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliana B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how you can create many different pages in Notion and have links to those pages, which helps organize things nicely. I appreciate that all of our staff members can have their own dashboard and that we can arrange it in many different ways with a lot of configurations. The ability to change things up more easily than in a Word document is also a plus, especially since everyone can see and share it easily within the workplace. The links to pages are really nice because you can start a project on one page and link to the research on another page, allowing you to navigate between different spots.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest complaint that I have so far is when you're creating a table in Notion. The table features are very limited. It's obviously not the same as what you would have in an Excel table. You can't merge things together. So you just have a lot more limited abilities in the tables. And sometimes I would to create, like, a bigger table there then I can't do it as nicely as I would in Excel.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my thoughts and present projects step by step, storing research effectively.

 ### 39. With Notion you can build almost anything

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ángela d. | UX designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Basically, you can build anything you imagine in Notion. From organizing personal things, work-related tasks, I have a theory that you could set up an entire business just with Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The truth is that I haven't found much that I don't like about Notion. At most, the logic of nesting pages within pages, which has been a bit challenging for me at times, but maybe it's just me not understanding it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

now I use it to make personal travel checklists, to have my portfolio, records... in the past I used it as a kanban for work projects too. I used its AI functionality a lot, in fact, it was the first AI I used.

 ### 40. One Place to Store Everything, With Flexible Views for Every Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love being able to store all of our information in one place and collaborate across all of our teams. I also really like being able to create different views of that information, depending on what we need.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I dislike that I can’t collaborate with clients easily. I’d like to be able to create a database, share it with multiple clients, and have them enter their information so I can see it in real time.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem this solution addresses is keeping all account and their information in one place. It benefits me because I can keep all the data together and make it easier for my manager to review.

 ### 41. Easy Transcripts & AI Notes, But Export and Pricing Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliana M. | Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Ease of using the app, everything in one page, transcript is recorded easily with one click, option to quickly access transcript and AI generated notes

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would like it to have a much easier way to export AI-generated notes into word documents, avoiding copy/pase, simply exporting to .docx or .pdf. I find pricing a bit high as well, would not upgrade because I am already at the limit of our budget.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can pay more attention on meetings without worrying about missing the details. I also like that it doesnt consume a lot of computer power and notes are accurate and contextual

 ### 42. Powerful centralization and brilliant Notion AI, but with a learning curve and no offline mode

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alba C. | App channel owner-grotwh, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like the most is its centralization capability. It has transformed my workflow by unifying notes, project management, and documentation in one place, eliminating the need to use multiple applications.

UI/UX: Its block-based interface and drag-and-drop feature save me hours each week by instantly reorganizing ideas. The relational databases are amazing for their flexibility to switch views (Kanban, table, or calendar) with a single click.

Notion AI: It has become my second brain. The Q&A feature allows me to ask direct questions to my entire workspace and get summaries or key data in seconds.

Integrations and Performance: It connects seamlessly with my daily tools (Google Calendar, Slack) and the current loading speed, both on desktop and mobile, is excellent.

Price / ROI: The return on investment is very high; the free version is generous and the paid version pays for itself by centralizing all productivity software into a single subscription.

Unexpected benefit: I started using it to take notes and now I use it to publish public web pages (portfolios and guides) in seconds without knowing how to program.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Here is a balanced, critical, and constructive response about the weaknesses of Notion, maintaining a concise and direct format for the survey:

What do you NOT like about Notion?
Although it is an excellent tool, its major weaknesses lie in the initial learning curve and the dependency on an internet connection.

Learning Curve (UI/UX and Onboarding): Being such a powerful blank canvas, it is initially overwhelming. Setting up relational databases from scratch is not intuitive for new users, and the onboarding relies too much on the user searching for external templates to avoid getting lost.

Offline Mode (Performance): It remains its major pending issue. Working without an internet connection is very limited; if you don't have a network, you can't load new pages or ensure smooth synchronization, which creates distrust when working on the go.

Performance with Large Databases: When a page accumulates hundreds of blocks, complex formulas, or massive relationships, the application (especially the mobile version) suffers noticeable slowdowns when loading.

Price / ROI of AI: Although Notion AI is useful, charging as an additional add-on per user (even in paid plans) feels high compared to other tools that already integrate native AI functions in their standard plans.

Unexpected Frustration: The text editor is sometimes too rigid with blocks. Trying to copy and paste text to or from other applications (like Word or Google Docs) often completely breaks the format, forcing a manual restructuring of everything.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion primarily solves the fragmentation of information and the chaos of using multiple applications at once.

Centralizes everything (Goodbye to a thousand tabs): Combines notes, tasks, databases, and documents in one place.

Benefit: Saves time and money on licenses, and avoids the mental fatigue of jumping between tools.

Creates a "Single Source of Truth": Prevents knowledge from getting lost in chats or emails.

Benefit: The whole team (or my future self) knows exactly where the information is without having to search for hours.

Breaks the rigidity of traditional software: Adapts to my workflow and not the other way around.

Benefit: I can design and modify my productivity system to measure in minutes.

Instant searches with AI: Solves the problem of rummaging through old files.

Benefit: I ask the AI about my notes and it gives me the exact answer in seconds.

In summary: Solves chronic disorganization. The real benefit is more focus and control over my time.

 ### 43. Great AI Integration That Organizes Thoughts and Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The functionality and AI integration are exceptional, with features that genuinely enhance productivity rather than getting in the way. I also love how it organises thoughts and projects into a logical, easy-to-navigate structure, helping me keep track of ideas and manage complex work efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The block-building system is intuitive and easy to use, but it can feel a little restrictive for more creative projects. Expanding the range of design and layout options would provide greater flexibility while maintaining Notion's simplicity.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion excels at project management and organising teams by bringing planning, documentation, and collaboration together in a single platform. This helps streamline workflows, improve visibility across projects, and ensure team members stay informed and on track.

 ### 44. Central Hub with AI Perks, Minimal Setup Hassle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sahil T. | Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for team information gathering, and it serves as a single source of truth for the project I work on. I like that it helps me avoid creating multiple documents. The AI assistant is valuable to me because it helps with formatting docs and spell checks. We started with Notion because it's the best in the business, and I found the initial setup fairly easy, rating it an 8 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I do not like how Notion handles emojis because for some reason they do not work for me.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a single source of truth for team info, avoiding multiple docs. The AI assistant helps with doc formatting and spell checking.

 ### 45. Notion’s Versatility Makes It a Standout for Work and Personal Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim W. | Marketing & Sales Partnerships Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The versatility and variety of functions present in Notion make it an outstanding tool for multiple areas throughout my professional and personal organizational setup.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The desktop app seems to draw quite a lot of cpu resources on my office notebook.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Note taking: Quick and efficient way to take notes and access them across devices and ecosystems
- Document creation & sharing: Easy way to create nicely formatted SOPs etc. and have them accessible to everyone relevant.

 ### 46. Seamless, Customizable Data Entry That Beats Excel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shibendu M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I can customize my data entry to function like a complete database, and it works as seamlessly as I need it to. I also find it more user-friendly than using Excel.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Probably the pricing is a bit on the steeper side and maintaining so many subscriptions becomes a headache of its own

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to organize things so that most of my business knowledge stays in one single repository rather than shuffling between Obsidian and other sources

 ### 47. Standout Integration and Easy Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Integration is the standout feature for me, especially with the customized database. It also has an easy learning curve, which makes it simple to get the most out of all the features.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It is not so much a dislike, but it is the pace at which we have to keep up on the speed of features coming out. Often have to rely on popular Youtube channel to consolidate the information so I know what I can take advantage of.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is how I operate across both my personal and professional life. So I would say it is not some much the problems i am solving, but knowing where I will go.

 ### 48. Flexible Project Workflows with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica C. | Events Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the ability to build out project workflows, coding in different areas and integrations as needed. Each project is different, and this works for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It takes a lot of time to learn Notion and build out workspaces. I wish templates were available to integrate and then customize.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me greatly with project management, notetaking and recaps/next steps. I like how easy it is to jump from meeting to meeting, have notes, and integrate it into projects.

 ### 49. Great for Team Alignment, But Complex Collaboration Can Get Hard to Manage

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parth K. | FDE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is useful for organizing team work and keeping shared information in one place. It helps the team stay aligned and makes ongoing work easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It is less effective when work requires a lot of detail or more complex collaboration. Detailed information can become harder to structure, review, and coordinate as a team.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps organize shared work and information so the team can stay aligned instead of relying on scattered notes and disconnected documents.

 ### 50. Powerful Project Tracking and Intranet—With a Bit of a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is a great project management and task tracking tool for me, both personally and professionally. I use it to manage large and small projects within the workplace, track status of different tasks I've assigned to colleagues, and can use it as an intranet to understand what is happening across the organization. It is a fairly easy to use tool and can be easily integrated with other systems, like Google Workspace.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There is a bit of a learning curve to Notion's user interface and system. I think once you understand the basics of the platform, it is relatively easy to use. However, I have used other software for project management that has been easier to learn and maintain.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for all my project management needs. Notion serves as the source of truth for the status of my personal tasks and projects for my team. It is a great system for cross-team projects, as each individual can update their project status individually.
