## Notion Reviews
  ### 1. Notion’s Toggles and AI Summaries Make Studying and Note Access Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The toggle feature helps me organize my notes as flashcards which is incredibly useful as it helps me identify areas of weakness in my learning. It also stores all my previous notes from previous classes, meaning I can easily access them. I also love the AI feature as it can summarize my ntoes instead of requiring me to handwrite them.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The pricing for Notion AI seems too high - I don't need the rest of the features in Notion business and would much rather just pay for Notion AI as a stand alone add on option.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The use of AI to summarize my notes means it saves about 5-10 hours of my time per week which means I can do many other things! Before using Notion AI I would handwrite my notes and type them up which is much longer rather than just uploading my notes to AI.

  ### 2. Modular Building Blocks with a Modern, Joyful UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that it's very modular and has a the fundamental building blocks to be a tool that caters to most business needs. It massively helps that the UX is very modern and joyful to use

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like that there are limitations to help it become a truly pro tool. Certain basic functions that a tool like Excel has, Notion doesn't have. One key one is a double rollup.

Additionally, it's very heavy on your RAM too.

I don't like the pricing structure too.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By building internal tabular tools that I otherwise may have to purchase a SaaS subscription from another company. We are good enough tinkerers to build an MVP tool in Notion first

  ### 3. All-in-One Workspace That’s Hard to Replace Once It Clicks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Honestly, the best part is just having one place for everything. I use pages and nested notes for most things, databases when I need to actually organize and filter stuff, and the web clipper constantly. I came in with a template someone shared, tweaked it over time, and now my whole personal system lives there. It's not perfect — the learning curve is real — but once it clicks, it's hard to go back to anything else

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Getting started is harder than it should be. The flexibility that makes Notion powerful is also what makes it overwhelming at first — you kind of need to already know what you want before you can build it. On mobile it still doesn't feel fully thought out; I avoid doing anything complex on my phone because it's just not smooth. Speed is the other thing — occasional lag when switching between pages adds up when you're using it every day

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Notion, I had no real system — notes lived in random places, things I wanted to remember got forgotten, and I was constantly redoing work I'd already done somewhere I couldn't find. Since switching, I have one place where everything actually lives and stays organized. I spend less time hunting for things and more time actually doing them. It's hard to put an exact number on it, but even saving 20–30 minutes a day of 'where did I put that' adds up quickly

  ### 4. Simple CRM Setup, Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I appreciate Notion's ease of use, both for setting up my business's CRM and for my work needs. It's been simple to set up, especially with AI instructions making it straightforward. I like using it at work, where it effectively records meetings and simplifies finding information by housing everything in one place. This includes documents, SOPs, and guides, so I don’t have to search multiple locations. Having all my recordings accessible in one spot is also helpful.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like that in Notion you can click and change everything so easily. Sometimes important information gets convoluted because there's so many things that are clickable and adjustable, even major things that shouldn't be altered by just anyone. For me, it's like a company site, and not everything should be removable or changeable by just anyone.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Notion's easy setup helps me manage my CRM. I store all client documents, emails, and contacts centrally. At work, I record meetings for quick recaps and keep information accessible in one place, saving me time. However, its flexibility sometimes leads me to accidentally alter important content.

  ### 5. Robust Organizer with Room for Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion both for work and personal tasks. At work, it helps with knowledge sharing across teams and organizing our workspaces depending on the projects. Personally, I find it a great tool for notetaking and organizing my thoughts. I appreciate the simplicity and natural feel of everything in Notion, especially once you get past the initial overwhelming feeling. I like the integration of databases in pages which makes it easy to organize things better, like using them as task trackers or Kanban boards. I really like the small cosmetic features, such as the ability to paste links in different ways—inline, as a mention, or as a preview—each being helpful in different situations.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find the loading speed of large pages quite slow, especially on mobile. It really needs improvement. Also, I felt overwhelmed initially, particularly when joining an established team with a large knowledge base spread across different pages. It took me a while to get used to the formatting, which wasn't very intuitive at first.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for organizing and sharing work across teams with multiple workspaces. It helps us organize stuff better with databases, like task trackers or meeting details, and I appreciate the flexibility in pasting links.

  ### 6. Flexible, All-in-One Organization That Keeps Everything Searchable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is how flexible it is for organizing different kinds of work in one place. I can use it for notes, planning, tracking tasks, saving important information, and building simple databases without needing multiple apps. The clean interface and drag-and-drop structure make it easy to customize pages according to my own workflow. It is especially useful because everything stays organized and searchable, which saves time and makes work feel less scattered.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The main thing I dislike about Notion is that it can feel slightly overwhelming in the beginning because there are so many ways to set up pages, databases, templates and workflows. Sometimes, simple tasks can become more complicated than expected if the workspace is not organized properly. I also feel that performance can slow down a bit when pages become heavy or contain too much information. A simpler onboarding flow and faster performance for large pages would make the experience better.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is helping me reduce scattered work across different apps. Earlier, notes, tasks, links, ideas and project details would be spread across documents, messages and folders, which made it harder to track things properly. With Notion, I can keep everything in one structured workspace and create separate pages for different purposes. This helps me stay more organized, quickly find information, and manage ongoing work without losing context. It has made planning and tracking much smoother. I also like that Notion works well with different workflows and can connect with other tools, although deeper integrations with some apps would make it even better.

In terms of value, Notion gives good ROI because it reduces the need for multiple separate tools for notes, task tracking and documentation.

The AI features are useful for summarising notes, cleaning up rough drafts and making information easier to work with, but they can still improve in terms of accuracy and context understanding. Support is also decent.

  ### 7. Easy to Use, Custom Workflows, and Smooth Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JAYARAM A. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Easy to use. With Notion AI, I was able to design custom workflows, and it also made it easy for my team to collaborate.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The background is static. It would be great if users could change the background and have more customization options.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with teams has always been hard. With Notion, you can see, assign, and manage your team and tasks all in one place, which makes it much easier to stay organized and keep everyone aligned.

  ### 8. Perfect for Team Collaboration and Document Sharing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian C. | Lead Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how user-friendly Notion is for creating documents and sharing them with my team. The formatting control is also something I enjoy, which really helps in organizing the content to our needs. Notion makes team management easier as it allows everyone to have the same view on our roadmap and discussion topics, ensuring we're all on the same page. The initial setup was easy for our small team of three.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think many advanced features are tricky because I don't know how to use them. There's something like connection and databases that I still don't get.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Notion for user-friendly document creation and team sharing, keeping everyone aligned on discussion topics and progress.

  ### 9. Versatile Yet Complex for Business Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daria R. | Team Architect, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion a lot because it can store information in different formats. I appreciate that there are templates for different types of projects, which makes setting things up easier. I also like that I can collaborate with people on there.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It's not that easy to understand how databases work or templates. It feels a bit too technical maybe. It takes time for me to figure out how to actually do more complicated things, and I don't know any single place to find information. When I tried to connect it to Zapier and Calendly, it didn't work.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion acts as the database for my business. Everything I need for my business lives there, making it easy to find information when I need it.

  ### 10. Flexible and Powerful, but Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arin G. | Scholar, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to schedule tasks and plan events, and I find its unmatched flexibility beneficial. The modular block system lets me build anything from simple notes to complex wikis, and it's great because I don't need to know any code to set up my ideal workflow. I appreciate its interconnected databases, which allow me to view the same data as a list, Kanban board, or calendar, making sure all my information is linked and adaptable. Notion serves as an all-in-one hub, easily replacing separate tools for project management and document storage. The built-in AI features are a plus—they effortlessly summarize and find answers across my workspace. I also love the clean, distraction-free design, which helps me focus entirely on my work.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

If I'm being completely honest, there are a few things that still drive me absolutely crazy. The long-awaited offline mode is pretty clunky; you have to manually toggle pages to save them, it caps databases at 50 rows, and you can't upload attachments, which is a massive headache when the Wi-Fi unexpectedly drops. The mobile app can also be noticeably sluggish and janky when you are just trying to load a larger database on the go. Plus, it's dangerously easy to fall into the 'productivity trap,' where you spend three hours color-coding and tweaking the perfect dashboard layout instead of actually doing your work. Finally, locking the best AI tools and new Custom Agents behind a steep monthly paywall feels pretty restrictive for everyday personal use.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me organize better with its modular blocks, linking projects and notes effortlessly. The interconnected databases adapt to my needs. Its AI features summarize instantly, while the clean design removes distractions, making it a powerful hub for project management and document storage.

  ### 11. Versatile and Powerful, But Steep Learning Curve for New Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like Notion's customizable features, allowing me to have multiple databases and maintain a full project in a single page. It's unique how easily multiple users can collaborate on a single project and tasks. I can manage a team, whether it's 10 or 5 people, using a single landing page that holds documentation projects, tasks, subtasks, all under a 'second brain' system. Notion's advanced features and customizability are the reasons we transitioned from Google Docs. For me, after using it personally for about four to five years, it's easy and I love Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I feel like Notion can be complex for some team members to understand, especially when creating inline databases. Searching can show two references, which is confusing, and navigating multi-database pages is tricky because the left pane doesn't support a subfolder view. It affects searchability, making it challenging for new users. I also find the setup a bit challenging for those who are unfamiliar with Notion, although I'm comfortable since I've used it for years.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to manage my team by keeping a full project on a single page and leveraging customizable features like multiple databases.

  ### 12. Notion: Elevates Document Depth, Needs Slide Option

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tildon F. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to build business strategy drafts, brand plans, and job trackers. Notion adds more depth and texture to my documents, making them more interactive and refined. The Notion AI is great; it helps me polish drafts and structure thoughts much better. This makes my plans crisper and ready for leadership and cross-functional teams. I made my team switch to Notion from Microsoft Word because I believed in its capabilities. The initial setup was very easy, though it takes some time to get all the features.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion needs to have slides as an option too. Converting docs to ready-to-go presentation style templates would be great. It takes some time to get all features and should consider linking tutorials to it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion adds depth and texture to documents, making them interactive and refined. The Notion AI helps polish drafts and structure thoughts, resulting in crisper plans ready for leadership and cross-functional teams.

  ### 13. Notion AI Simplifies Personal Task Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nguyen Tat D. | Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like Notion AI because it helps me create plans and notes for meetings. It assists me in planning for meetings from tasks I completed the previous day, and after the meeting, I can easily write down the meeting notes.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes I switch to Obsidian to make vaults because of features like graph view and canvas that I find useful in Obsidian. Creating subpages was a bit of a challenge for me, especially when referencing subpages to page views. It's something that just feels difficult to describe.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to help me manage daily tasks and take notes. Notion AI assists in creating plans from previous tasks and writing meeting notes.

  ### 14. Effortless Organization with Intuitive Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** caroline c. | Account Executive - Solibri, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion because it's very easy to use. I love using Notion to help me take AI meeting notes for all my demos and internal calls to get summarized meeting notes and next steps. It keeps me on track and helps me stay more organized. I find the search functionality particularly useful, as Notion's search capability actually comes up with what I'm looking for, unlike many other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

sometimes it’s a little hard to add certain drop-down task and know how to add it especially if you’re organization hasn’t given you access to add certain tabs

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to track events, budgets, and approvals, take AI meeting notes for calls, and stay organized with what's coming up and what I need to do.

  ### 15. Robust Knowledge Base Tool with Intuitive UI Challenges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as a knowledge-based tool to keep track of all our data, analyses, key operations and vendor information, and project management tool to run our business effectively. I appreciate that Notion has thought of all the different ways to compile and share data within an organization. It offers a lot of robust options to format the data in the knowledge base. We manage data in various ways, including tables, charts, video trainings and guides, and other methods, which Notion effectively covers for formatting and sharing.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would say one of the biggest challenges I have with Notion today is that its user interface is not terribly intuitive, and sometimes when trying to develop new pages, it requires a bit of guesswork to determine how to format a particular page or what's the best page to use. While they have rectified this challenge a little bit with their embedded AI that helps set up pages or formats, it still leaves room for improvement. It would be nice if the tool provided more detail on the best usage cases for different things you're trying to add. Another challenge is with navigating within Notion, where you can create pages in certain places that are difficult to identify or navigate to afterward with a standard or typical file folder navigation and organization. The initial setup was also very challenging due to the lack of formal project management or transition planning, which led to a lack of training on how to use the platform effectively, taking us some time to get everyone up to speed.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a knowledge base tool to track our data and projects effectively, utilizing its robust options for formatting and sharing data with tables, charts, and video guides.

  ### 16. Flexible Project Management with Workspace Frustrations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that I can turn all of my ideas into progress in Notion. I appreciate that it's very open, and I can change it to whatever I want it to be, but it's structured enough that I don't get lost in things that are not as important. The AI is wonderful, and I think it's the most accessible RAG that could be. I use it a lot for working with context, and it has really made things easier for me. It's amazing that I can tag the most important information that the AI needs at the time it's needed, making it much easier to communicate what I need.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The thing that is most frustrating working with Notion is working with workspaces. I have to move from my personal workspace to my work workspace a lot during the day, and it's so frustrating. It makes the work so hard, and I feel like it could be such a more smooth experience. Same goes for sharing databases across workspaces. The AI meeting notes could be improved as well.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me manage projects and keep up with tasks. I'm building a knowledge base for lab SOPs.

  ### 17. Great for Centralized Management, Needs Better Task Handling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that I can customize Notion to suit my needs. I also like how I can have everything in one place, which makes it easier to manage my business and personal projects.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'm not thrilled with how the checklists or to-do lists function, especially when it comes to moving things around. I think the setup and usability of these features could totally be improved. Also, the initial setup was just okay; it would have been better if I could have had a template to choose from.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion lets me have everything in one place, making it easy to manage my business and personal projects and tasks. I like that I can customize it.

  ### 18. Intuitive Data Management with Limited Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion has a very nice, clean user interface which makes creating the UI straightforward. I also love the AI MCP connection and how it integrates neatly with codecs and cloud code, making it easy for me to add stuff automatically to the provisional database I set up in Notion. It's super straightforward compared to Google Sheets.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the UI is a little bit less customizable than I'd like. There aren't that many filtering features to really quickly get the view that I want for a database. I know there are views that you can set up, but it doesn't quite have the exact configuration I'm looking for. There's a lack of transparency on how many tokens Mission MCP actually takes, so I always get a little nervous if Codex is consuming more.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me store tech data nicely in tables, making it easy to track and share without needing a full database.

  ### 19. Easy Claude Integration That Makes Project Documentation Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how easily it integrates with Claude, and how it has helped me document projects—at least for my own use. It gives me the freedom to write first, then format afterward, and to carefully think through the best way to capture and organize the information.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It is still difficult for third parties to navigate in a project they didn't set up themselves.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation repository. It has greatly helped me keep project information in good shape and up to date. Also, the Claude integration means learning Notion isn’t an absolute must. Features that I knew existed but couldn’t apply myself, I can now just ask Claude to set up or do for me.

  ### 20. Powerful Integration with Intuitive AI Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the AI-powered note-taking capabilities, meeting summaries afterwards, and the ability to interact with the meeting notes using the AI chat. It's absolutely a very powerful time-saving machine that helps me stay more focused and engaged in meetings, instead of having to note down every single word that's been said. It also helps me create customer follow-ups afterwards.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The concept of databases can be a little bit overwhelming for some of the less technical people in the company. The initial setup and configuration were a little intimidating, taking some trial and error to create the workspace, give different users access to the right workspaces and team spaces. The setup of the database also required a bit of leg work before being ready to expose it to the rest of my team.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me streamline my notes from meetings, offers a single source of truth for our customer status database, and helps track open issues and projects with customers.

  ### 21. Powerful AI Meeting Notes with Smart Organization and Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that you are able to use AI meeting notes to record meetings without an actual agent joining the call, and the fact that you can then organize meeting notes by subjects/projects, create outputs/dashboards to easily organize data, and use an embedded AI assistant to help me find specific notes that I'm looking for.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

No integration with microsoft outlook - you need to manually start AI meeting notes, and then manually input the names of participants. Also, you need to manually select the language of the AI meeting notes recording, which adds friction for users who constantly have calls in different languages. Also, the export function for meeting notes could be more intuitive - the function is hidden in a menu with dozens of other functions, and you need to scroll down and click a lot of times to export notes into a pdf, which is one of the most important functions for me.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personal organization. Notion became a general ledger where I store meeting notes for work projects, in a way that I'm able to easily access and consult later.

  ### 22. Intuitive Interface, Perfect for Organizing Complex Goals, Offline mode still needs work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to organize myself productively as a university architecture student. I like how dedicated Notion seems to be at simplifying the interface, making it intuitive to handle complex structuring of my student project work and other life goals. The toggle headings are a great addition to structuring pages, and the airy format is pleasing, ensuring the screen doesn't get too cluttered. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, and learning the more sophisticated aspects was fun rather than difficult.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'm glad you can download pages, but the offline part of Notion doesn't seem to work as smoothly as an app that can fully work offline, like Obsidian. I've lost work that I had done offline sometimes. I wish I could just use Notion on airplane mode and not have to worry about which pages I forgot to download or how well the app will run. Also, it would be nice if I could create task calendars or data views without the tasks being pages, because it feels like a waste to create a whole page for just a task or a small element of a database.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my goals and tasks in one place, simplifying managing my student projects and life goals. It also more specifically greatly responds to the need of handling multiple to-do lists, where I can just put them in multiple toggles in the same page or in different pages.

  ### 23. Versatile Yet Complex Productivity Tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for meeting transcripts and recordings on my Mac, and it helps me recall information, working as a second brain for my career and personal life. It keeps me organized, increases productivity, and improves my well-being. I like the meeting summaries, the ability to utilize different AI models, and the way AI can recall information, which allows Notion to serve as a second brain. For example, it can store all the information I've had on Zoom calls about issues and projects in my career. I can access and recall vast quantities of data that wouldn’t be possible with normal recall. The ability to use different AI models gives me flexibility depending on the objective or outcome I am seeking, granting me access to top-tier models. The initial setup was seamless.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think Notion could be improved by making it simpler and more interconnected with other tools. It feels a little complex right now, especially with all these new AI tools coming out. A framework that's easier to use would be valuable. Also, having true long-term AI memory, cross workspace intelligence, a better specialized agent marketplace, and agents that make decision suggestions based on the memory and data of the workspace would be great. The ability to build apps within Notion and save data in those apps would be beneficial too. The HTML functionality is only sandboxed, so the capabilities are very limited. While the initial setup was seamless, building out the workspaces and improving the simplicity would be helpful as mentioned before.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a second brain for organizing, recalling information, and increasing productivity. It helps store detailed meeting content and uses different AI models to access and remember vast data quantities, boosting my efficiency at work and in my personal life.

  ### 24. Versatile and Interactive, Needs More Customization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the chat feature in Notion; it's really helpful for organizing things like forms, notebooks, and databases. I like using databases to collate, filter, and organize information. The text features help give my documents and notes a nice, formalized feel. I love the different views of the databases and how information can be presented as a gallery, list, or toggle view. These features make it interactive and let me present information in a way that suits my needs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think Notion could benefit from more customizable features as it feels quite black and white to me. More design options would enhance its flexibility. When using the chat features or creating items like a notebook or magazine, it tends to use a lot of placeholder text with descriptions rather than implementing the intended actions. For beginners, this means building items bit by bit instead of the system doing it automatically. For instance, when creating a textbook with a contents page and links to new pages, it just provides a blank page with text instructions. Templates should be more standardized to create items, instead of giving placeholder text and instructions. This would make it easier to manage, especially for new users. The chat feature also requires me to tell it to do a lot of compensatory tasks, and I often find myself having to tidy up extra pages that aren't formatted properly.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion lets me create my own textbooks, organize study notes like a personal journal, and learn database skills. I use databases to organize and present information interactively in different views, making it easy to digest.

  ### 25. Comprehensive, Easy-to-Use, but AI Pricing is a Downer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I think Notion is super easy to use, and everyone understands how to use it because it's very similar to Google Docs or other text editors. I like the combination of static pages and databases, which connects two things together and makes it easily searchable and easy to work with. The MCP feature is crucial for us because it allows AI agents to access Notion and gather context, making it very usable. The ability to have everything in one place and be easily searchable helps us stay informed and organized across the whole company.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The whole Notion AI. I think it's an amazing idea. But the whole credit system is unusable. I understand why it's like that because they need to pay providers like Anthropic or OpenAI for the API usage. So, I get it from a business perspective, but it's totally unusable. We used a lot of the automations in it, but after it became paid, we stopped everything and just scheduled tasks in the Claude Cowork. Unfortunately, this is bad because Notion is pushing AI features everywhere, and we're not paying for it, and we won't. We paid before and then canceled because it doesn't make business sense to pay for it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to store company information in one place, making it easily searchable and connected to AI agents for context gathering. However, the Notion AI's credit system is unusable due to cost, limiting our use of automations. So Notion is just a store of context and not the AI center of our company.

  ### 26. Clean UI and AI, but the wiki-style layout wastes space and needs a flexible menu

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott A R. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

clean appearance (UI/UX), AI
overall it is not a bad product; though some of the layout is clunky and more a wiki not a website

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It is wiki based UI/UX and does not have any ability to change the left side control menu. If that could be relocated to the bottom of the site for management or the top, it would help give space back to the user. Additionally, the wiki page itself loses lots of space with how the system builds out the pages. The loss of space is what I dont like.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allows me to have permission control views for users that have different equities.

  ### 27. Versatile but AI Integration Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to organize my college life from scheduling to managing assignments and thoughts. I like how it has many features, especially its attempt to integrate AI and various other apps. It helps me combine workflows with other apps I've been using, like chat bots, allowing seamless connections with minimal intervention after setup.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The AI chatbots in Notion are really not the best. When I tried to use them to create my schedule utilizing a subagent, it was not able to do so and completely ignored all of my context and information. Context could be handled better. Also, I attempted to use it with Claude and ChatGPT, but it was pretty wonky and not the best. The initial setup was a bit confusing, but after that, it was pretty straightforward.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my college life, putting everything in one place. It helps me combine workflows with other apps easily. However, the AI chatbots struggle with context, which is a downside when trying to automate tasks.

  ### 28. Powerful Task Management with AI, but Resource-Heavy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I think my favorite thing about Notion is its recent integration of agents. Now I am able to record meeting notes, summarize them, and it's a game changer because I already have an existing ecosystem of my thoughts. Thanks to having the agents, I don't have to worry about wandering minds and high hallucinations. Everything is set and catered because I already have a universe of truth for it to base its thoughts on.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

My main issue with Notion is that it's too intensive on a computer. It takes far too much for it to run, and my work laptop oftentimes can't keep up. As a result, even though it is so powerful and useful, I just can't get as much out of it as I would like to.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me with task tracking, allowing me to track tasks on my phone, personal, and work computers, all synchronized and AI-enabled.

  ### 29. Versatile and Fluid, Yet Needs Improved Intuitiveness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is really fluid, and I can do lots of different things with it depending on what outcomes I'm trying to achieve. I can mark up profitability between different projects based on the parameters that I input. I appreciate that everything's all in one place, so I could do timesheets, interview projects, CRM, and even manage financials all in one location.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think sometimes Notion isn't actually that intuitive. Sometimes finding things, like time sheets or tasks, isn't worked out particularly well. It'd be quite good to have clarity between archiving and moving things to trash. I don't really like that part. It would be nice to have a tick list to check off tasks but still keep them. Also, having automatic timesheets would be amazing.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Notion is really fluid, letting me do lots of different things like marking up profitability, managing everything in one place, doing CRM, and working on financials all in one place.

  ### 30. Flexible and Powerful, with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mert B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to organize tasks and notes, and I like how everything can be connected in one structured system. It basically turns separate information into a system I can navigate easily. Switching between different apps, Notion helps me stay organized. I also pair it with calendar apps to keep track of deadlines and schedules. The basic features are simple to pick up right away, and I find it very flexible and powerful for organizing structured workflows.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There's a learning curve if you want to use advanced features. Simplifying database setup and relations would reduce the learning curve. There's still some room for improvement in performance and usability.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize tasks and notes, helping me stay organized without switching between different apps by turning separate information into a system I can navigate easily.

  ### 31. Free, Flexible, and Quick to Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion as a second brain to store textual data. The notes in Notion are based on markdown structures, which I find valuable because I don't have to edit the markdowns themselves. I enjoy that Notion is free and appreciate the tools it offers, particularly the tables, which I use the most. The initial setup was very easy, taking only a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

the fact that it doesn't have the neural map like thing like mind maps options like obsidian

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a second brain for storing textual data and appreciate the markdown structure without needing to edit markdowns.

  ### 32. All-in-One Workspace with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love using Notion because it keeps everything in one place, serving as a single repository where I can track my projects and internal documents. I find it valuable as an internal knowledge base. The MCP connection is good, and the code block feature lets me create interesting flows and representations using Mermaid JS. The '@' mention feature for adding multiple data types was impressive and gave me a 'wow' moment.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

In a table, when there are multiple pages, I can open and navigate to sub-pages, but there's no way to go back, so I have to close and open the page in side-view again. The top navigation bar could be scrollable when multiple tabs are open. Also, I'm currently adding any diagrams as code block-based, like workflow charts or data visualizations, so a native feature for this would be great.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep everything in one place as a single repository, which lets me track my projects and internal documents, and it serves as my internal knowledgebase.

  ### 33. Versatile Project Management with AI Assist

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I find using Notion AI to be often a better experience than the regular Notion application. It’s really useful for making quick entries or pulling out quick information and having AI analyze it. Notion AI helps me, for example, with tasks like reviewing resumes quickly in my hiring pipeline, which is much more efficient than going through them one by one manually. Also, I thought the initial setup was quite easy, even without using templates.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the experience of building an agent in Notion is not great. I still would prefer to use Notion with another AI client instead of doing it all in Notion. I'm not a big fan of the templates, but not using the templates, I thought, is quite easy.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to manage business projects, tasks, CRM, and as a knowledge base. It's a great place to manage information rather than using spreadsheets, documents, and separate task management software.

  ### 34. All-In-One Workspace, Needs Offline Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion to keep track of my daily tasks and manage information for the 50-60 sellers I handle daily. It's really helpful to have everything in one place, unlike other platforms where I'd need a new doc for each task. Notion's integration of all pages in a single window is great because it makes it easy to switch and find things, which is a lifesaver when dealing with too many tasks. Creating a new page with its date every morning and adding tasks throughout the day is very convenient. The ease of switching to previous days' content for reference solves a huge issue I had with having to save and open separate files in other tools. Also, having a guide at the start and a team member who already knew Notion made the initial setup pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish Notion had offline accessibility because it's difficult to use it in places with low internet, like during flights. Easy filtering and searching could also be improved as the results aren't always refined. A better instruction set at the start would help too, because I felt it was easy only because a teammate already knew how to use Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to track my daily tasks and seller info, keeping everything in one place. The easy switching between pages saves time, but offline access is needed for better usability in low internet areas. Filtering and searching could also be improved.

  ### 35. Versatile Tool for Planning and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how Notion helps me turn my ideas into clear plans and actions. It's really useful for summarizing meetings and big documents, which can be overwhelming sometimes. I love using Notion for brainstorming new ideas, and its collaboration features are great since it gives me access to all my docs. I find it particularly useful to distill information from previous conversations and documents. Notion's AI is helpful for organizing projects, making it easy to just chat and keep things in order. The setup was pretty easy, and I find it very functional for my personal use before exporting docs to share with my team.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find memorizing past conversations and creative writing in Notion a bit challenging. I think it would be helpful if Notion integrated more complex AI models to enhance the chat personality and personalize outputs more based on individual interactions.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to distill information from previous conversations, organize projects, and collaborate on complex projects. It helps me turn ideas into clear plans and actions while summarizing meetings and big documents.

  ### 36. Intuitive for Starters, Complex Features Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I find Notion easy to use to get started, and the initial setup was 'Easy Peasy'. I appreciate the support and the initial introductory 30-minute meeting which were very helpful. I also like that I can add specific websites and resources to contextualize myself and my company. Using these, my LinkedIn profile, and my resume of experience, the work product is typically spot on.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The advanced features like MS Outlook email cleanup are hard to find and the settings or selections aren't intuitive. Better descriptions or workflows are needed. The help feature in Notion was not helpful, and the support person was of little help.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me manage office time and emails efficiently, summarizing meetings and emails to save time.

  ### 37. Collaboration and Ease Beat Complicated Alternatives

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion for work because it makes collaboration easy. We use it to store all our documents, making it a reliable source of truth for our team. The collaboration features, especially working with AI tools like Claude, help us work in real time as a team, and this feels like the missing link. Notion also stands out because setting it up was very easy, and it integrates well with AI, even though we don't use Notion's own AI much due to its cost and limited compatibility.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think Notion AI is a bit too expensive, and it doesn't really seem to be very helpful. It's also not really open to other tools, which is kind of a downside. Plus, I don't really like the desktop application.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for work collaboration and storing all our documentation, making it easier than Atlassian Confluence. It allows us to put documents in a single place and work in real-time, providing a source of truth for the team.

  ### 38. Customizable Tool for Personal Organization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I mainly use Notion as a to-do list and a dashboard, providing a convenient space where I can easily create new pages to keep track of things like my gym sessions or reference lists. I especially enjoy how customizable it is, allowing me to adapt it to my style and learning needs, like switching from French to Portuguese. I find the UI very nice to look at, and I like that it's my style, even if I wouldn’t call it minimalistic. The initial setup was fairly straightforward with help guides and support from friends.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish there were more timeline functionalities in Notion. The calendars kind of all look the same, and I'd like customizable, movable timeline functionality where you could plan out your day by moving blocks back and forth, instead of just going with the flow of set times like 2PM or 3PM for tasks.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a custom dashboard for my to-do lists and more. It's very customizable and flexible, allowing me to tailor it to my style and needs, like learning languages or managing my daily tasks.

  ### 39. Flexible but Overwhelming for New Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really value the connection between Notion and the Notion calendar, which I use daily to view all of my task databases for both work and personal life. It helps me schedule everything efficiently. I also like the ability to customize Notion and make it however I want, which is an important feature to me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The only thing that comes to mind is the lack of native integration with Gmail. I was using Notion Mail, but that's being taken away, so I'd love something to connect to Gmail natively to create tasks. I know there's a third-party connection, but native integration would be great. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy. It feels like a rabbit hole with a lot of templates and options, which can be a little overwhelming.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to schedule my day and connect task databases between work and personal life, all in one place. However, the setup process can be overwhelming with lots of templates and options, although I appreciate the customization it offers.

  ### 40. Notion's Custom Agents Streamline Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The main thing I like about Notion is the new custom agents. I have my own custom agent that helps me with my processes within Notion. When I'm creating databases, I just design the database and tell the agent what to do. I can automatically tell it to get data from a specific MCP, and it gets the data and populates those databases constantly. I mostly use these agents to automate filling in of the database, connecting to different data sources to gather my social media metrics. This lets me create a format that fits within my Notion database, streamlining my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the main thing would be the charts. I would like to see different types of charts stacked together, like a bar chart with a line chart, to make it more data-friendly or easier to design. Also, the configuration of spacing within chats, mostly number charts, could use a bit more freedom to play around with the designs.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize content and metrics. It helps me create dashboards and automate database entry with custom agents, streamlining my workflow by connecting to data sources and fitting formats within Notion.

  ### 41. Powerful Collaboration Tool Yet Needs Improved Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is a document store accessible by everyone at my organization with simultaneous editing features. I also appreciate its built-in support for many different styles and formats of text that I may need to include in a document. Switching between formatting styles is very easy. I'm not limited by text alone—it's possible to include images, headers, and tables, etc., which allows me to format my thoughts any way I like. The initial setup was very easy once I got added to all the right teams, and I was able to view every document I needed.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find the organizational aspects confusing. I can easily search for a specific document if I know its title, but browsing is less helpful. It would be nice if there was a way to browse through all of my documents or recently edited documents in our organization at a high level without needing to click into each one.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a document store that everyone in our org can access, with simultaneous editing. I'm not limited by text; I can include images, headers, and tables, and format my thinking any way I like.

  ### 42. Versatile Documentation Hub with Robust AI Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how Notion is our source of truth for internal company documentation and how easy it is to use. I enjoy their AI capabilities, which help me finalize my work faster. The desktop and phone apps are very easy to navigate and useful, allowing me to bring my work with me. Also, the AI editing in pages and centralized documentation make it valuable for my daily tasks.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The native HubSpot AI connector was one of the most useful features of Notion, and its removal has made it more difficult to link our work with our CRM, which is a bit annoying. This change has impacted our workflow because it's now harder to connect the scattered data across multiple sources. I'd like to see this feature return, even if it means having a more limited amount of tokens.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to centralize documentation and track projects easily. Its AI capabilities help finalize work faster, and both the desktop and phone apps make it easy to navigate and continue work on the go.

  ### 43. AI-Powered Flexibility Boosting Productivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the AI feature in Notion because I can just tell it what's on my mind, and it creates for me. I also appreciate the integration with Claude, which works with Notion very closely and makes the tasks straightforward, cutting many steps for me. I enjoy the flexibility Notion provides by offering different views like calendar, list, and Kanban, which help me understand my week and reorganize my tasks, priorities, and ensure I'm not missing anything. The AI also made the initial setup easy, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think it's sometimes overwhelming to understand how to do everything in Notion. I need to learn better how to execute it, like connecting my email to Notion so I don't have to manually input my tasks. It's a challenge, and that was easy with Fresenio, for example.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my work tasks and track productivity without checking multiple places. Its AI and Claude integration reduce steps, making task execution easier, while different views help prioritize and manage weekly tasks better.

  ### 44. Empowering Documentation with Notion AI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I find the Notion AI really powerful when it comes to generating summaries and understanding the context based on the specific knowledge of my company's products and business domain. I appreciate how it can generate detailed product specifications just by using my voice. The integration with Claude also helps a lot, as I can use Claude AI to help generate meeting notes and product specifications. I love the Notion meeting summary note feature, which makes the process smoother. The wonderful database, tables, pages, and references in Notion make managing different tasks much easier compared to other note-taking apps.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Some of the interface might be challenging to use, especially now that Notion has introduced the chat feature. When I want to create a new page, there's a default icon for that, but now it's like getting used to the interface which might not be as intuitive. I understand the intent that Notion wants to have its own independent chat feature but also wants to have it in line page chat feature as well, so that's a little challenging. Another challenge is exporting pages. Sometimes when I want to export just a single page, it exports as a zip file when I just wanted to export, let's say, as a Word doc or a text doc. I understand why it's doing that because there's a lot of references and Notion-specific features that cannot easily be exported, but it's still a little bit of an annoyance.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to streamline documentation, making it less time-consuming with AI-generated specs and meeting summaries. It integrates well with Claude for smoother operations compared to other note-taking apps.

  ### 45. Powerful Collaboration Tool, But Requires a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how collaborative Notion is, making it easy for me to work with my team members. I really like the layout. It's easy to find what I need and create all my tasks in one place. I love the feature where I can record meetings with transcriptions on my Mac, and it translates into tasks. Notion just makes my life easier and reduces my mental load, freeing up my mental space.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think it's not the most intuitive platform when you first start using it. It takes a little bit of a learning curve to try and get it to work the way that you think it will. While I enjoy the layout now, it's taken me a while to get to this point. It's just the layout needs to be a little bit more intuitive, especially in how you create pages and how they all link to each other and tasks and databases. I just think it's a bit of a learning curve, which pays off in the end, but it can be off-putting for someone who's not willing to go through that.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me organize everything really well and manage multiple projects in one place, keeping one source of truth.

  ### 46. Feature-Rich but Slow Performance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how easy it is to note down slightly advanced things which I could not otherwise do in simpler note-taking apps like Google Keep. The integration of charts, data tables, pages, and rich text is very helpful for me. Cross-platform availability is really nice, and cross-syncs are nice too. Chart visualization is cool, and it's more predictable to put things where I want like text, images, etc. Linking pages with each other is cool, and the overall design is nice as well.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think Notion is slow and janky, which is the reason why I would probably leave it in the future. Pages take some time to open. Scrolling the pages isn't as quick as I'd like. It feels very slow for some reason. I'm comparing this with Obsidian and Google Keep. Although Obsidian does feel slower than Notion on mobile, Notion is slower than Obsidian on Windows.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for personal and work planning. It's great for advanced notes with integrated charts and rich text. I love the cross-platform sync and design. However, it feels slow and janky, with page loading and scrolling issues compared to Google Keep and Obsidian.

  ### 47. Seamless Cross-Device Usability, Needs Better Reminders

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really appreciate Notion for its ease of use. It makes the tool almost invisible—I can just capture my thoughts and continue working with no learning curve at all. I also love how seamlessly accessible it is across different devices. Since I frequently switch between Android, iOS, and Mac, it's fantastic that everything syncs instantly without any lag or reformatting. It's easy to jot something down in a meeting on my phone and then immediately pick up right where I left off on my Mac. The initial setup was very, very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would like Notion to have something like a reminder feature that can help us add in reminders from time to time. Additionally, a better automation tool that can run on a schedule to send us updates would be really helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep all user data in one place, helping my team track blockers and stay on course with milestones. It's accessible across my devices, syncing instantly without lag.

  ### 48. Ultimate Team Collaboration Platform with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how easy Notion is to use. I think it's very simple and straightforward. It allows different teams to work on various sections simultaneously by segregating spaces, which is really helpful. Notion also gives me the ability to create new spaces easily. The onboarding process is excellent, providing a lot of help and guidance, which made the setup super easy. Notion's templates are really good, and the recent integration of AI into the system adds to its value.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would say allowing users to be able to move text in a page rather than having to have them stacked on each other. It sometimes can get to quite a lengthy scroll to find information you're after, rather than having it side by side on one page. Another point I will add is maybe the cost of adding team members and team owners onto Notion could be a bit less expensive.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to give my team a single place to access information and work together, increasing visibility and awareness of project stages while allowing us to segregate bins for different teams.

  ### 49. Versatile Task Manager with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for work and find it very helpful for tracking my own tasks and collaborating with my teammates. I love using the syncing blocks across pages, which allows us to have a master and sub-grouped pages where edits can be shown across all. I've also enjoyed using the AI features to create boards for myself. I like its notetaking capability and syncing blocks, which enhance my productivity. Notion is easy to use and makes things look nice and professional. It's incredibly flexible, and the initial setup was easy overall.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish that I could create more of a 'dashboard' view where I could have blocks organized vertically and horizontally as I'd like with custom shapes. I'd like to create custom sizes for each element that I add to a page, allowing me to see more at once. Also, for a team of 4 people, it was a bit too expensive.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for tracking tasks and collaborating with teammates. It's helpful in syncing blocks across pages and using AI to create boards. I like its notetaking and the ability to make things look nice and professional.

  ### 50. Versatile Hub with Potential Form Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion primarily for organizing our team meetings and marketing efforts. It's been a lifesaver for managing our marketing editorial pipeline and tracking social channels, newsletters, and website updates. I appreciate the centralized space it offers, making it easy to search around, track the social calendar, and see the status of things. Using Notion's AI, I'm able to automate task creation for events, which is super helpful. The platform becomes a source of truth and is easy to use once you get to know it, thanks to its user-friendly interface. I can quickly pull up information, duplicate it, find things, and create templates, making it incredibly efficient to manage tasks and schedules.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The Notion forms were a little disappointing. We were paying for Typeform, and then we thought, well, we're paying for Notion, and Notion already has this form feature. But it didn't have the same level of functionality like conditional options, and I found it less intuitive to use compared to Typeform and even Google Forms. It was simpler than I expected and quite frustrating. I also feel that Notion could be a little smarter in keeping things clean, especially if the team isn't using it the same way. The initial setup was a little more difficult than I expected to navigate as certain things are unique to Notion, which required more onboarding than I anticipated.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for a centralized space for meeting notes and marketing tasks. Its AI makes searching easy, and it tracks my social calendar efficiently. It quickly lets me pull up, duplicate, and create templates, becoming a source of truth.
