like best thing about Notepad Plus Plus for me personally is like it's really fast and lightweight it opens in an instant doesn't ever slow down my system ever and when I'm working with like really big files and lock files since I am working with Technical Support of networking devices the log files can go up to 15GB right and like any normal other editor would just hang and freeze but this works really fine the syntax highlighting is really great and helpful and I like that is suppose supports so many languages without me doing anything extra the tabs make it really easy to switch between the files and do really good work and research and it's simple but has like lot of useful features that make it really easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

well one thing I don't like or maybe its a bit odd that it can be little bit more modern , plugins are sometimes really confusing to install or add and sometimes I feel that few features are hidden and sometimes it crashes but that's not much and also that's not much customer support since it's free but you mostly figure things out on your own and no major issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Notepad++ is much better than the normal Notepad that comes with Windows laptops by default. It has some really useful features—for example, you can keep text in a Notepad++ file without saving it, and the next time you open it, the text is still there. Its text search feature is also very strong: it can count the number of appearances, show the total instances in a file, and even search across all the files you have open at the time. I think there are a few features that could be added to Notepad++ to improve it and make it even more useful. One idea is that when I open a text file, it could display the text in different colours. For example, most of the normal text could stay in one colour, while words like “Error” or “Failed” could appear in red, “warning” could be shown in yellow, and words like “successful” or “completed” could be in green, and so on.
