Notch Sports helps assignors and youth sports organizations assign referees and umpires, and pay them quickly — without spreadsheets, paper checks, or clunky legacy software. Assignors build schedules, manage availability, assign crews, communicate with officials, and handle game changes in one place. When games are done, Notch pays officials directly to their Notch accounts instantly, giving officials a Venmo-like payment experience, with Notch handling 1099 reporting so tax season isn't a scramble. Notch supports baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, and more. It's for everyone from small local associations to multi-group tournament operators. It handles officials of all ages, including minors (with a guardian as the contracting party), and gives officials a clean mobile experience to view assignments, accept games, and track their pay. Key capabilities • Assigning & scheduling: availability, crew assignment, bulk tools, game changes, notifications • Payments: fast payouts to officials, transparent tracking • Communication: mobile app notifications, SMS text, email • Tax compliance: Notch issues 1099s directly • Mobile app ease of use for assignors and officials Organizations switch to Notch from legacy tools when they want a faster, more modern and cost-effective way of assigning and paying their officials. Notch serves thousands of assignors and officials today, paying $ millions to hard working referees and umpires every year.
