**What do you like best about Nosto?**

We've added more features to our Nosto account outside of Recommendations, we now use Search, Email Widgets, A/B Testing, Content Personalization, Pop-Ups, and newly Upsell. We are so appreciative of the time the Nosto AI saves our team, as well as the analytics it provides on a micro and large scale. The ability to see what every segment is viewing and purchasing has really influenced our ecomm strategy. 
Our CSM feels like an internal member of our team!

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

We are really looking forward to the improved Dynamic Bundles analytics. We know they are in Beta currently, but that will make Bundles a lot easier to use, and to see what is working within them.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nosto has improved the time spent creating recommendations for our homepage, product pages, ad landing pages, error pages and more! It has also given us insights into our site's best practices and recommendation placements.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

The ability to schedule content ahead of time has really helped our team keep up with our busy marketing calendar. Placing content wherever we need in our template has helped us avoid additional development hours. Nosto content also loads fast and does not slow down our pages. It is rare that we get stuck in a spot with no solution, but when it happens our customer success manager Jiachen is always swift to help us troubleshoot and implement solutions quickly. Communication is quick and we feel supported.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

A few of the integration elements we have require some back-end work from our team, all doable within admin. We are integrating with Magento, so I imagine that will improve over time to match up with more commonly integrated platforms like Shopify.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling content, accurate and dynamic searching, promotions catered to user behavior, product recommendations and upsells.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

Nosto is very dynamic, allowing you to implement a wide range of campaigns to customise the browsing experience for your visitors. 

The support is excellent: we currently have weekly sessions beginning with covering the basics and moving on to specifics that we'd like to set up.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

To begin with, without having had the help frrom the weekly sessions it can seem a little complicated and not always the easiest to understand how/why certain elements work. It takes a bit of time to get to grips with but as you understand more from the education provided it becomes much clearer quite quickly.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nosto is helping us show relevant products to specific groups of customers when they visit our site. We're able to push particlar categories and styles as well as target based on location and weather. There are many ways we will continue to look to customise the browsing experience in order to increase conversions.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

After using Nosto for a while we've implmented more things, including utilising their pop ups, adding content blocks in to category pages, adding FOMO messaging to product pages, and generally easily updating and changing messaging around wherever we need to.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

Our original customer success manager, Ari, was amazing. Valuable insights, great support and feedback, it was then changed to someone honestly useless. He showed up to less than half our meetings, and had no valuable take - our very first meeting with him he even admitted he hadn't even looked at our account yet! So we dont have a manager for our account anymore, it still works well and is a fab system, but that wasn't a great experience. I guess the take away is making sure the CSM's actually know what they are talking about and are more reliable!

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notso is helping us get the right products in front of the right people when they visit our site. Especially with products we want to push more, it allows us to target the people who have shown an interest in it previously to increase the conversion rates on those products/services.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

Access to test brand new features and implement these in a timely manner, continued support and guidance from account manager Joanna, great workshops/demos with trying out new features eg UGC and Post Purchase. 

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

Bundles is the main one for us - Having bundles easier to access, being able to see exactly which product is in which bundle, being able to export and import bundles between stores.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deep diving into our top converting categories and segments, having personalised merchandising sequences for our top segments, AB testing, creating new placements for adding new recommendations such as cart rec, bundles. The platform enables in-depth analysis of our top-performing categories and segments, with personalized merchandising sequences tailored for key segments. It supports A/B testing, as well as the creation of new placements to incorporate additional recommendations, including cart recommendations and product bundles.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

Thanks to Nosto we solved merchandising issues we had with our Shopify store. We now have a granular approach to merchandising by using a set of rules that can vary for each collection but we can also mix those rules with some manual inputs like pinning a product we always want on top of a collection. Our store sells different types of products, so it was very important for us to be able to merchandise every collection in a different way depending on what segment a visitor belongs to.

With the recommandations feature, we have increased our revenue and conversion rate, people stay longer on our website, explore more product pages and can find a product they like more easily.

Also, the whole Nosto set up & integration was great, Nosto technical team was very helpful and compliant. Since Nosto was kicked off we keep being in touch with customer success team who is making sure we are making the best out of Nosto.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

We wish we were more staffed to go deeper with the solution. There are many options and levels of details you can apply to your merchandising and recommandations strategy, but this requires a lot of time. Also, we think Analytics dashboard could be pushed further, like having the details for each recommandation campaigns and being able to access its analytics retro-actively.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our merchandising lacked granularity and was very unstable. With Nosto we have great dynamic merchandising that mixes algorithms and manual features (like pinning a product).
Also, before we were using the simple recommendation block of our Shopify store, which had zero analytics and very few algorithm options. Now we have various recommendations slots across our sites on all page types, and that can be personnalized for each user type. We are also super happy to have analytics directly connected to recommendations, we know how much business is driven by recommandations which was not the case before.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

Advanced personalization allows for adapting the customer experience in real-time with relevant product recommendations and dynamic merchandising campaigns. A/B tests are a real asset for refining strategies and maximizing performance. Another strong point is customer support. Dahlia, our project manager, has been a valuable help with her insightful advice and regular follow-up, facilitating the full utilization of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

The interface can sometimes be a bit complex to handle, even though recent improvements have been made to make it more intuitive. The cost of the solution also represents a significant investment, which can be a barrier for some companies.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

It really saves time: the virtual merch is automated thanks to some rules you configurate on Nosto and it allows reducing manual work.
Something also really great are  the automatic recommendations: Nosto help suggests similar products seamlessly and we don't have to do it manually on Shopify anymore.
I like that the rules can be personalized depending on where the buyer is (for example, push first coats in bad weather location).

Sometimes it can take time for the rule/merch to reflect on the website.

Nosto has made merchandising so much easier by automating product recommendations and personalization, saving me a ton of time. I also love that I can tailor the shopping experience based on where customers ar. Finally, the automatic product suggestions help boost cross-selling without doing any manual work..

Easy to curate product recommendations and analyse consumer behaviour when shopping on site. Creating A/B testing scenarios, so we have a better understanding of customer's interaction online, and so they have a better user journey whilst also adding sales.

Getting to know the system can take some time to make use of the full features of Nosto; at times our recommendation feeds have not been the best but its looking much better. Their customer support and materials are a great source of information

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

There is so much you can do with the tool - the data is really insightful and it allows us to personalise the customer experience which is SO important in today's market. I love the AB test functionality which we use so often to ensure the right customer segment is seeing the right product. Also, the product intelligence section is so helpful in allowing us to quickly discover products that need an extra push to improve performance. We use the tool almost daily within the business as there's so much we can do with it.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

Having to copy over the current format when creating category merchandising AB tests can be a faff sometimes - it would be easier if there was a copy functionality. It would be great if we could see key metrics/ data within specific time frames.

Nosto allows us to merchandise our categories to suit specific customer segments. The recommendations ensure that the right product is always in front of the right customer which helps us improve our key metrics.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

Easy-to-use tool for daily site merchandising management. The transfer tool is very practical for switching our modifications from one account to another. The Nosto team is very attentive and responsive to meet our requests as quickly as possible.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

What bothers me is that we do not have access to global data for all of our sites. We have an account per country/language and no possibility to obtain global data on all of our performances on the tool.

Nosto helps us maintain relevant and high-quality e-merchandising across our entire site at the level of our category pages. The recommendation blocks help us add cross-selling on our product pages, list pages, and other landing pages. And the search allows us to offer our site's customers the most relevant results.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

Have been using Nosto for around 8 years on Magento and later Shopify. It was really easy to install on both platforms. A really solid addition to the website that just works. I primarily use it for on-site product recommendations but am also installing the search function. The support is first class, both the live chat on the website and through my CSM and responses are always really quick. 

I would like to mention my CSM, Ala, as she has been brilliant in our review meetings and is always full of ideas to test out to optimize our site.

The reporting functionality could be improved with a comparison tool for date ranges.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Targeting and personalising content for users without me having to think about it. Also its a great supporting tool to use during promotions to make sure these get extra coverage.

Nosto is a great tool especially once you learn how to use the system. The functionality available is extensive and the extent of personalisation and segmentation in the system allows us to make the shopping experience for our customers more personal. I also really appreciate the level of support offered by the Customer Success Manager, it really feels like they have an interest in our account and cares about the success of the tools used.

The new update to Nosto has made the back office a bit less intuitive to use.

Many tools of the tool can be used to build a great presence for the website. We use recommendation sliders and trigger-based emails, that works great too. The tool is definitely user-friendly. We use Nosto every day.

The price depends on sales - but the negotiations are always fair!

It is definitely recommended to tailor your own website to the users - in other words, to present it more personalized and display products tailored to the user. The support is great and you get help very quickly.

The dynamic and user friendly admin panel to make dynamic and automated product recommendations on the online store smoothly. The support team is super helpful. The analytics, category merchandising and A/B test feature make it a super convenient tool for the merchants of Shopify.

Sometimes the default templates are not enough, or customization of styling are not that much and learning or coding effort neeeded to make really brand specific templates.

Nosto allows for complex and very precise scenarios, which really enables us to do what we want. It's important to get a good grasp of it in order to exploit all the possibilities it offers.

**What do you like best about Nosto?**

I can quickly and easily manipulate content and set up A/B tests. It is easy to handle. The category merchandising also works wonderfully and has given our customers a better shopping experience. The customer support is excellent and my contact person is always reachable. I use Nosto almost daily and it is easy to implement things with it.

I can't name anything specific that I don't like. You have to understand and get to know the tool. Then you recognize all the possibilities.

We're using Nosto's core product - product recommendations. The initial setup (admin configuration, front end implementation) is straight forward, and doesn't need much upkeep once in place. Quarterly reviews with our account manager makes it easy to understand performance and ROI, whilst monthly catchups are great for discussing new AB test ideas to optimise recommendations

Even though Nosto has a lot of data that is captured by itself it does not give any API to access it every time if anything is required we have to log in and check. since it is not possible to give access to everyone it becomes a very tedious task to check and update data every time. Also, the customer support response is very slow, and getting technical issues solved takes time due to which the client has to bear losses incurred until the issue is solved

The problem that we used to face was writing different merchandising logic for different pages every time but this is taken care of by Nosto.

Nosto is an incredibly sophisticated tool that has many different options for meeting the needs of our business, while also offering simple solutions that can run in the background and generate money if you're too busy to put a lot of time or resources toward scaling the program. Essentially, there's solutions regardless of how much knowledge or time you have that can still make this a revenue generating tool.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

I think it can feel overwhelming at first just how many options you can run in Nosto, which can be quite intimidating, especially if you're new to the tool. Luckily, between the Nosto Customer Academy and our Nosto Customer Success Manager, I've been able to bring ideas of what I want to do and have easily found instructions or solutions to put them into play.

**What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nosto is helping us to serve product recommendations on various placements throughout our website that are adding incremental revenue, increasing AOV, and reducing customers contacting our support team. Additionally, we're excited to soon be rolling out Nosto's Dynamic Bundles product which will allow us to better recommend like-products to our consumers to increase user experience, increase customer LTV, and decrease customer support needs.

I really appreciate all the possibilities that the tool offers us, no matter what our needs, there's always something that can be improved and that better matches our objectives. Our Customer Success Manager is also a great help in giving us best practices and advice on how to optimise what we already have.

I would say that the platform is sometimes difficult to get to grips with when you're looking for certain data. Apart from that, there have been a few problems with the display of our recommendations, but nothing too disturbing and above all they've always been sorted out very quickly!

We were really struggling with a number of things: increasing the average basket / reducing the bounce rate / making additional sales. 

Nosto enabled us to do all 3 at the same time, thanks to personalised recommendations, bundles and the pop-up system, which was very effective in our case.

Nosto is a great e-commerce tool which provides a great top notch service. The tool has taglines , dashboards, and self customisable options. The websites are designed in s such a way that viewers find it user friendly. Nosto has an amazing feature of providing satisfactory browsing experience. The customers find taglines and dashboards and are able to purchase products needed according to weather and location. I would definitely recommend Nosto to all.

I have been using Nosto for a long time now. Initially I some difficulties but with the customer support provided by them like arranging webinars and multiple tutorials everything seem easy and better. Nosto easily manages single large store but sometime it fails to compile data a many franchise stores. These are minor problems. With a update everything can be resolved in a nick of time. Nosto does what it claims. I would definitely recommend it to all out there.

Nosto has helped me in generating bigger revenue by attracting large number of customers. With the help of taglines and dashboards and customisation, customers choose products urgently needed and leave a better review. The tool has brought a large traffic into my website. However, despite this limitation, Nosto's overall performance and features remain highly commendable.

Nosto has quite many built-in features that can be implemented on your website quickly enough. Once you've set up recommendations, automations and other features, you rarely have to touch them and simply make small tests and continuously optimize them.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

Some of the features need quite a lot of technical know-how and some features such as small customizations to pop-ups will require you to pay extra, although the base fee is already quite expensive. Also, we run a multi-webshop platform and we can only utilize Nosto on one website, although the sites share the same technology and same products. Sometimes making simple adjustments (such as bolding a text on a popup copy) requires you to either make adjustments directly into the CSS editor or have the support do it for you. I wish some of such basic features were better implemented to the editors.

Having to sign a contract for a total year (with automatic renewal) is also not the best way for us, we would prefer shorter contracts and the possibility to re-evaluate at each renewal.

We are now able to offer personalized customer experiences across our website and easily implement GDPR-compliant marketing automation such as pop-ups and automated emails.

It does take some time to discover all the possibilities with Nosto and how to use certain things, but this gets easier with time. The pricing is on the higher end for our company, although the Director of CRO makes the price worth it for our situation.

At first, you might feel overwhelmed by the number of things that need to be learned. However, the account managers are very helpful and guide you through the entire process. Special shoutout to  Ashwin for helping us become familiar and at ease with the platform. The Nosto Online Academy is another great tool to keep learning about all you can do with Nosto, and it's a great place to start brainstorming ideas on what to implement on your site.

Without the proper support, Nosto can be a really difficult platform to use. It's important to evaluate the impact of each product constantly and ask questions if the data is unclear.

Very good additional sales since implementing Nosto. It's great to see the stats for each personalised recommendation broken down by CTR, conversion and total sales, and being able to see what recommendations your customers are engaging with the most. A/B testing has been an excellent tool, allowing us to provide the best recommendations for our customers. We have made good use of the bundle tool, which has generated some good additional sales. Nosto's development of segmentation has allowed us to provide a really personalised experience for each customer that visits our site. Support from Nosto has been great, with many helpful recommendations.

**What do you dislike about Nosto?**

Setting up the recommendations can be quite confusing with all the options, but this can be walked through with the account manager. Some A/B testing we have had some issues with the layout many times which causes delays in testing as the Nosto team have to fix. The bundle section can glitch some days, not allowing you to save a bundle which can be frustrating. It is also a very expensive platform.

Providing more personalised recommendations for each visitor of our website, as opposed to general recommendations for all visitors.. We are now enabled to create a better website experience for our customers, which is increasing our AOV.

Once you get the hang of things with placements and a little bit od coding experience you can do realy great things for your customers. But it is always a learning curve involved. Latest at the UGC for me.

The main goal is personalised products out of our very large and for customers overwhelming amount of wines. It helps to narrow it down for them with suggestions. Once we got the basics fixed (still working on a few things) the suggestions are good.

Also, you are always supported by your Customer Success Manager and the Nosto development team. The CSM is always there to answer questions and suggest new strategies and ideas for your website.

Sometimes dynamic bundles do not work as expected. However, the Nosto team has been working hard to troubleshoot the issue.
