NorthLight Gazelle is an AI-powered platform that helps consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, retailers and adjacent businesses make faster pricing, promotion and forecasting decisions. It integrates generative AI with predictive modeling. Custom models are estimated automatically, and interpretation and implications of each analysis are generated for the user. The platform has three optimizers. Gazelle Pricing Optimizer works with any type of sales data, from point-of-sale scanner data to third-party sales data to invoice data. Its AI cleanses the data, estimates the best predictive model and produces insights that teams can use directly. Gazelle Promotion Optimizer assesses the effectiveness of past promotions automatically and creates promotion calendars that can be optimized for the future. Gazelle Forecasting Optimizer runs hundreds of random forest models to identify the most important causal variables, measures their impact on demand and calculates future forecasts, with a full set of forecasting models available in minutes. Teams can use the solution without relying on external vendors. A "Design Studio" turns complex analytics into an intuitive workflow for non-technical users, and APIs allow integration with internal systems and enterprise platforms. NorthLight also offers analytics and consulting services to drive proofs of concept and adoption. On its website, NorthLight states that using Gazelle to manage pricing and promotions dynamically could drive 2 to 6% volume growth and 5 to 10% gross margin growth compared with traditional ad hoc approaches.
