What do you like best about NoFraud?

What do you like best about NoFraud?

We enjoy the analysits being able to review transactions on our behalf- it's a huge time saver. We also like the 24/7 support since our ecommerce business is always up and running! Their support team also got us up an running with NoFraud very quickly, while also taking time to thouroughly explain each step of their verification process. What do you dislike about NoFraud?

We don't particularly love transactions failing only for reasons like "email address having little history" or if a customer uses a VPN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NoFraud solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's really helping us with saving time manually monitoring and verifying customer information. We went from keeping a spreadsheet and messaging the customers everyday (approx. 3hrs. daily) to having it be completely handled by a 3rd party. Their database is large enough to detect and track fraudulent activity and as more businesses contribute to the database by employing NoFraud, the more fraud they'll be able to detect. To offer some clarity, orders can fail for any reason. Our decision engine uses a variety of sources to determine whether or not to fail a transaction. Our fraud analysts commonly review transactions based on a number of risk and trust factors, including email history and/or VPN.

Our analysts’ primary role is to determine the likelihood that an order is authorized by the cardholder. This involves a variety of methods, including direct authentication through email or phone and utilizing data points verified through public and credit-verified sources.

We employ tools that leverage public records alongside records obtained through credit checks and other verified sources. When we rely on public sources, such as social media or business registries, these are substantiated by cross-referencing with other verifiable records or other means. However, when merchants inquire about specific details, we may be unable to share information sourced from certain tools due to privacy or compliance restrictions. Instead, we point to corroborating connections available through public avenues.

What do you like best about NoFraud?

We've been very happy with NoFraud and the protection it offers against fraudulent orders. It's much more effective than Shopify's built-in tools and has had a very low rate of false-positives or false-negatives. Customer support has also been consistently responsive and helpful. Pricing is reasonable as well. Setup is easy and there's almost no work to maintain it - you just install it and forget it for the most part. We have had some false-positives but it's easy to add an email to the whitelist after customer support confirms that they're a legitimate customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NoFraud?

Because you have to disable Shopify's built in automatic payment capture so that orders go through NoFraud before payment is accepted, it can be a minor nuisance if you have payment methods that are excluded from NoFraud (e.g. PayPal, which has its own chargeback protection). However, the NoFraud support team was helpful and I was able to set up an automation using Shopify Flow to capture all the payments that don't go through NoFraud. NoFraud offers more thorough and accurate scanning than Shopify's built-in detection tools, and NoFraud can automatically void fraudulent orders befoer payment is even captured, further protecting our store. What do you like best about NoFraud?

Previously we had to rely on Shopify's native fraud detection system which is extremely basic and only provides low, medium or high scores for orders. NoFraud has a much more sophisticated screening process and provides a pass or fail recommendation so we don't have to make a sjubjective decision on our own. This has taken away human error on our end and meant we have full confidence in passing or failing orders.

NoFraud also automates payment capture and order cancelling so we don't take payment from the customer until the order has passed and, if it fails, we don't have to manually cancel and the users funds are returned timely.

What do you dislike about NoFraud?

I can't think of any major downsides to NoFraud. Having to pledge to a monthly minimum payment to use the service is probably the only downside but I understand this is priced fair and required so that NoFraud can offer chargeback protection in the first place. We had a high percentage of fraudulent orders as we run a tech commerce site and we had no sure way of screening orders. It meant that we experienced a lot of chargebacks and lost significant cash due to fraud. NoFraud has solved this problem and we haven't lost a single penny to fraud since then. What do you like best about NoFraud?

Pricing that is not prohibitive to new online stores and responsive customer support. Super easy to implement--it took only a minute via their shopify app. Their free version is great and they have multiple paid offerings that offer different levels of coverage. What do you dislike about NoFraud?

They should expand their products selection to include insurance against non-fraud-based chargebacks and also include legal protection for high value claims. What do you like best about NoFraud?

We went with NoFraud becuase they knew their product, had answers to our questions immediatly (very few "let me find out for you..."), and the price for what they offer could not be beat by competitors. The trial run they offer proved the value of the product, and effectiveness. NoFraud dramatically reduces tedious manual verification processes which can both be a time consumer for the CSR team, as well as cause friction with good customers when they need their order to ship quickly. We also can rest assured we are protected on every order than goes out the door now, and decrease our loss due to fraudulent purchases.

We also find the dashboards, reporting, form submission and most aspects of the NoFraud app to be very intuiative, easy to use, and balance between being simple but polished look to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NoFraud?

The only downside, which is unaviodable with ANY fraud software, is the potential for for false flags, where a "good" customer's order is cancelled. These are rare, but do happen, and are easy enough to resolve directly with that customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NoFraud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were doing manual order reviews and contacting customers with differnet billing/shipping addresses to mitigate fraud. This caused a lot of work for our team members, additional calls/emails from customers to get their orders shipped, and either didn't catch all fraud, OR would cause good orders to be cancelled. This dramatically improves the availability of my team members to focus on other tasks and customers, and we have a much lower rate of loss due to catching more bad players. We also see increased revenue due to more "good" orders being shipped.

Our customer service score has increased now that we can ship orders nearly as soon as they are placed, rather than waiting a day.

What do you like best about NoFraud?

When we decided to move our internal fraud prevention apparatus (which was comprised of staff on payroll, expensive monthly subscriptions screening orders, and rife with mistakes, we researched our options before settling on NoFraud.

The change relieved staffing necessary for operations and more costly subscriptions, while maintaining an effective check on fraud. Their team is responsive and knowlegable. Setup and onboarding was fairly easy as well.

The checks are run quickly and when follow ups with purchasers are needed, Nofraud conducts the work and contact attempts quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NoFraud?

If you can call this a downside, it is only that you may not educate yourself to be as familiar with fraud once you sign up for Nofraud as they really take the grunt work out of it for you.

What do you like best about NoFraud?

We had a whole system of manual and semi-automated checks in place to try to identify fraudulent orders. We had done a pretty good job compared to some of our peers, yet it took a lot of work from our web team. What do you like best about NoFraud?

This company helped me to create a solid framework in order to battle the chargebacks that I had coming through on a continual basis on our website. They consistently keep up with letting you know if there are issues with an order relating to fraudulent possibilities and they are also there to provide after service support if a chargeback gets filed even after an approval. What do you like best about NoFraud?

The best thing about NoFraud is the ease of use. I have used it for many clients and they can all use it easily. If you can't use it easily, what is the point. It was also very easy to implement. What do you dislike about NoFraud?

Sometimes does catch and flag orders that are not fraud. We have had some customers ask us if the email they received from NoFraud was SPAM. This is an issue with all platforms like this though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They help us protect ourselves from being frauded online. Without it, I would imagine we would be getting fraud orders multiple times per week. What do you like best about NoFraud?

NoFraud has helped our brand reduce fraud rate as well as bring in additional revenue that we would have previously lost out on. Additionally, NoFraud is quick to respond to our request as well as provide us additional information when needed. NoFraud was easy to setup and intigrates with our entire tech stack.
