What I like best about Nitro PDF is that it feels very close to how Microsoft Office works. The layout and menus are familiar, so I don't have to spend much time learning where things are. I can open a PDF and start editing almost immediately. Another thing I really like is how easy it is to edit text and images inside a PDF. I can fix small mistakes, update text, or replace images without converting the file to another format. This saves a lot of time in daily work. Nitro PDF is also strong when it comes to creating PDFs from other files like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. The formatting usually stays intact, which is important when working with professional documents. The design feature is another plus. I can sign documents or send them to another for signing without needing a separate tool. This makes simple approval workflows much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about the Nitro PDF is that it can be heavy on system resources. On slower machines, it may take time to open large PDFs or multiple files at once. Another drawback is that some advanced features are locked behind higher licenses. For basic users, the pricing may feel a bit high if they don't use all the features regularly. The interface, while familiar, can sometimes feel crowded. There are many options visible at once, which may be confusing for new or non-technical users. Cloud and collaboration features are available, but they are not as smooth or flexible as some fully cloud-based PDF tools. and occasionally editing complex or highly designed PDFs can cause small formatting issues, especially with fonts.
