It will decide to lock up on a document and then I have to go find a free trial to another PDF editor since Nitro has NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. If I go to chat they send me to the forum or knowledge base. If I create a ticket, it just pushes me to the knowledge base. It's a circle I can't get out of and I can't get support. Gives you the ability to "whiteout" portions of documents. Also, you can type in documents. This part is good. The ability to drop signatures on documents is also helpful, but see below for the cons of that feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Nitro PDF? There not any cost-free support options. They have a NitroCloud and a "request signature" function that requires a login. My logins don't work, and the emails to reset the password do not come through. It's not like I'm requesting something extra... Just the productivity tools I paid for. This is very annoying. Also, unstable. Program crashes often. A mobile extension would be great too, but that does not exist. The option to drop saved signatures is nice, but the indexing of the signatures is terrible. You can't name the saved signatures, so you are reliant on a postage-sized image of the saved signatures to identify them; This needs improvement. Lastly, the "request signature" feature is pretty bad. Signatures come back out of line with the forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Nitro works very well in terms of creating PDFs. With Nitro set as a printer option, it’s easy to ‘print’ a form to Nitro and have it pop up quickly. There are several times when I have sent 4 or 5 pages over, and it takes it 3 or 4 minutes to get the forms saitched over. In a fast paced job that few minutes can really slow you down. Also, Nitro has an option to write on or edit your PDF. Almost every time I do this and try to combine pages, the program crashes. In my job every order we take requires a minimum of 4 pages to move through the system between different departments in the business.
