## Nintex Reviews
  ### 1. Foxtrot: Today's work done yesterday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Associate, Settlement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The best part about Foxtrot has to be the ease of use. Anyone can pick up this product and start using it, as long as you know the manual process you want to automate. You can learn the basics of Foxtrot and have your first project completed in around an hour.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There isn't really anything that I dislike about Foxtrot.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this to reconcile checks. automate SQL queries, post payments, and pull reports.

  ### 2. Foxtrot Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like that I can control what Foxtrot does including building naming conventions for saving file types automatically. I also like the interaction using the targeting system to help locate what you are looking to interact with. It makes building scripts very easy.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

While the targeting system works great. There are some drawbacks within certain applications that don't allow the use of it. Making it difficult to automate certain processes. Also not being able to use remote desktop applications as part of a script is a downer.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to automate very repetitive processes such as data entry is tremendous. It allows for employees to focus on tasks that require more personal attention.

  ### 3. Why wouldn't you use FoxTrot?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Foxtrot was my pet project at my last institution and we were able to use it for so many things and efficiencies. I was happy to hear my old bank kept the process going and implemented even more ideas and uses for the system. Coming to my new FI I was ecstatic to hear they also had Foxtrot and I immediately started making a list for my area and how we could use the tool!

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Dislikes = having to keep the system awake or working through some issues on creating a script - but the customer support was and is always amazing in helping me through these issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

You will not regret your choice to purchase this software. At first, without the right mind of how this works, the system can be overwhelming. I am not a data minded-person but I could see what I wanted done and dug and dug until I could make it work.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation before we even wake up for the day or automation while we drive into work!! This tool helped us work harder and smarter while we weren't even into the office yet! I love that we are able to work together with others to think of better ways to use the system. We always are going to be asked to do more with less...

  ### 4. Promaster using product on an adhoc basis for 6 months

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like the intuitive ability of the tool.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I dislike that it doesn't link with current platforms for user management.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have only really started using it and have found that not being prepared or having an actual roadmap or project plan has hindered our development.

  ### 5. Foxtrot has saved the bank time and money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori G. | Deposit Operations Specialist, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The fact that you can make so many changes without needing to take a banker from their position. Foxtrot runs in the background.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I don't know that there is anything I dislike. As the new versions come out I feel there are less and less issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

It is a fantastic product to consider as it saves time and money as Foxtrot can run in the background leaving your employees to their most important job function.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsibility Codes on Accounts is huge for me right now. When bankers leave it is so easy to reassign accounts to another banker. I have used Foxtrot for many and varied maintenance changes within the bank.

  ### 6. Worth it for large updates and repetitive processes (Time saver)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph D. | Business Intelligence - AVP - Records Management Program Manager, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ease of use of the application. Not needing coding to use Foxtrot one effectively. Saves time on repetitive processes.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

When increasing the speed there is more opportunity for error. Not sure if that is a coding issue. But when doing keyboard strokes errors have occurred with going to very fast speeds .

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

The amount of time saved with this product is substantial. You can build processes with it that takes employees hours to complete and have it done in minutes. Think about your tedious tasks that involve multiple screens and let foxtrot do the work.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating client and account data fields in source systems after data quality rules are run

  ### 7. Easier to navigate Promapp than home television!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carly H. | Mobile Support Worker, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Two things I love best about Promapp;
- the process view & map view
- hyperlinks to related documents and policy

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

As stated I am a newbie to this product and, as such, hav

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm new to the organisation and Promapp has been invaluable. Promapp has enabled me to find and learn processes, across the board, quickly and easily.

  ### 8. BPA Architect and Developer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenton D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Reasonably fast development of web UIs while still having the ability to do complex interfacing with desperate systems via .NET coding (service brokers).

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

No [direct] programming interface to allow for using JavaScript and CSS. You can do it, but you have to "tuck it in under the covers".

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

The term Citizen Developer is used often as it relates to K2. However, a word of caution, the features, functions, capability, and needs of K2 will quickly grow beyond the skills of a BA (Citizen Developer). So plan on using human resources that have true developer skill set. You'll end up being much happier.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it within our loan servicing groups to manage the volume of work and reduce how often the data must be touched. We are working to take their entry work and funnel it into back-end systems.

  ### 9. As simple or as complex as you want it to be

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love that no matter what seems impossible with Nintex, there will always be a way round it

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Some parts of the solution are flakey and you have to use it with a pinch of salt sometimes

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Sign up for the Nintex community - amazing resources on there

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business solutions are now much quicker to realise and the workflows are self documenting due to the nature of the labelling
We have replaced numerous paper forms with electronic forms and workflow

  ### 10. Very clear and user friendly tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love how understandable Promapp is! Whenever I train new users on it, I hear a lot of positive opinions. My colleagues always point out that it's much better than all the tools they've used before because even when using for the first time, Promapp is easy to navigate through and hugely self-explanatory.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The reporting tool available to Promasters is sometimes causing issues, difficulties in generating, it sometimes requires 2 or 3 attempts.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Definitely take on the methodology that comes with Promapp. It works great in cooperation with the tool and shows awesome results when implemented, especially in the process understanding field.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A huge benefit for us is a much better understanding of our processes among the employees.
Especially the connections between output of one process and input to another shows our employees how important their work is and how many people use their results. That motivates our teams and enables their respectful cooperation.

  ### 11. Very useful and easy to use tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel V. | Coordinador de Desarrollo e Infraestructura de TI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

What most like is the lazy approval feature and the learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I dont like the method to extract stats of my worflows

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lots of HR workflows, approvals, complex flows for document control department.
Benefits were the fast development of that functionality.

  ### 12. Improve efficiency, decrease cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Howard G. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Product versatility to be able to reduce the chance for human error in otherwise manual processes.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

In previous version there was a disconnect between modules. The new version seems to have corrected this issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Compare with other products to make sure the fit is right. While K2 works perfectly for us, it may not for your processes.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're increasing and decreasing costs by eliminating manual processes, thereby reducing the need to hire additional staff in various depts, or allowing us to utilize existing staff in better ways. Our on-boarding and off-boarding process alone has allowed our org to regain 15-20 hours biweekly across several depts.

  ### 13. Perfect for business automation K2

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mehmet Y. | Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The workflow designer has come a long way with numerous advanced features, especially the user interface, making it very easy to create a new workflow in just a few minutes.

The best feature is the workflow application and deployment. Smartobjects are very convenient to work with.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I was struggling a bit with the workflow development environment, but it has recently been replaced with a more intuitive and user-friendly engine in K2 Five.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use K2 as the main BPM to manage authorizations that require the use of an authorization matrix and authorization processes.

The K2 Platform is used in different architectures across different departments. It offers a modern workflow platform, K2 BlackPearl, which we use to automate business processes.

  ### 14. Great support and encouragement for a great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patsy A. | IT Service Analyst, Fishery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to clearly document the processes required for me to do my job - so others can do them if I am not there. We can also see how these processes interact with others in the organisation.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

We need cultural direction from the top (CEO/ CFO) in order to maximise the utility of ProMapp. Too may people see the cost (of maintaining processes) rather than the benefit of having everything up to date.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are standardising processes that have been causing issues (inaccurate data), so that we can provide the CEO with consistent reports and results.

  ### 15. Good potential, unpredictable behavior

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt K. | Application Support Specialist, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love how easy and intuitive the interface is.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I do not like how unpredictable it can be at times with how it interacts with browsers. Especially at high speeds.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Make sure you have the staff to support, and have plenty of ideas for use cases.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When there's a lot of repetitive data entries, we use foxtrot to shorten the amount of manual labor.

  ### 16. Foxtrot Applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jada B. | Application System Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like that once you start the program you can let it run to mass maintenance information in an efficient manner.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I dislike that sometimes the programs need to be constantly babysat to ensure they don't hang up.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are mass maintenance account information on our core in a cost effective manner. Cost effective mass maintenance is a huge benefit.

  ### 17. Foxtrot is a workhorse that says time and money!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JANET G. | VP, Business Intelligence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

We love the short learning curve in utilizing the product and the excellent support we get from Enablesoft. RPA technology saves us a ton of time and money in creating repeatable processes and in creating mass "on the go" updates.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I do not have a dislike. I am very pleased with the product and the Enablesoft company itself.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Consider the time and money saved.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foxtrot helps us manage mobility limits, overdraft limits, officer coding, new debit card production, account and card status changes, card breaches in the market, name and address standardization, closed account processing, and much more.

  ### 18. A Productive Document Generation App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

This app has enabled us to create final or official documents for our customers in Sales within Salesforce itself. The product is relatively easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I have no complaint so far in terms of its functionalities and ease of use.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

I recommend this Nintex Drawloop DocDen because it is a powerful and productivity tool.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers in Sales require official documents such as contacts and orders to be generated for our customers to review and confirm. We are able to automate this process with Nintex Drawloop DocGen for Salesforce. This has eliminated manual process and saved time for our sales people.

  ### 19. Great software - great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Ease of targeting items and seeing all available options for the target. Don't have to be a programmer to write scripts. Love the Excel integration and some of the new features in v14. I can see this being very useful in some future scripts that we have planned in the next 12 months.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Seems to need some additional coding to work better with certain software applications. Would like to see better integration with some of the common bank cores.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

This is a great product.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Job requests, file moves, creation of records in auxiliary system into core

  ### 20. A solution that works for you when you aren't in the office

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zack M. | Assistant Vice President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love the ability to leave Foxtrot working when I leave and have it still working when I arrive in the morning.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I dislike that I can not get every department in my institution to buy a license.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

You won't regret the investment.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are making manual task turn into very fast and accurate workflow.

  ### 21. Excellent product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rolando N. | Senior Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I have been using Nintex in the public and private sector. I have always been impressed with the service and support.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Microsoft updates sometime affect Nintex functionality

Nintex workflow

  ### 22. Easy, Fast and so much more!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like the convenience of the clickable buttons to easily create a report taken from data in Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I have nothing bad to say about it - we do not know all of it's capabilities, I know it can do a lot more than we need!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily print producer statements from commission data entered into Salesforce. It's simple and quick!

  ### 23. Good tools, pricey now for non profits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Ease of use and flexibility - simple to assign actions after a merge is complete.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Hard to get past the initial learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Have a dedicated admin who learns how to use this tool.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass merges for end of year thank you/tax letters, mass merge for weekly thank you letters, update opportunities to indicate acknowledgement has been created.

  ### 24. Nintex is amazing at interagration.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | IT Inventory Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The best part of Nintex is that it integrates with all of our platforms. It makes adding new users to our system a breeze with just a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Nintex is a bit pricey compared to some of the other workflow platforms. They need update there pricing to be more competitive for small businesses.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

If you need help with work flow they are who you want on your side.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Nintex it would take multiple admins to create new users with all the features and functions we needed to add. But after nintex integrated with our AD and Microsoft platforms it takes a fraction of the time for one admin.

  ### 25. My Foxtrot Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I think it is an accessible program, even for those not in the tech world. Its simple logic of commands/inputs which anyone is able to understand. Overall it is a good tool to organize and collect data as well, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I think there are a wide variety of things to do that maybe dont need to be done in all circumstances. At least from my viewpoint/understanding of what my institution needs.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned before, it provides an accessible, yet detailed way to organize and collect data and present them in a form that is easy to read. And with the automation tools it can be gathered, copied, and emailed, all with one click of a button.

  ### 26. Nintex is good and always getting better

  ### 27. Lightweight workflow automation engine with big aspirations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

- Nintex pioneered the Citizen Development style of process app delivery, and that's their strength;
- They invest in usability;
- Nintex knows how to build a community, and they have hardcore and loyal fan base;
- a good fit for small to medium companies;

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

- Nintex marketing is making quite a few bold statements about company leadership position. Analyst reports do not support such claims;
- The product seems to be filling the gap of the SharePoint workflow plus some more. They seem to be pursuing Salesforce ecosystem as well;
- Product inherited quite a few Sharepoint limitations;
- Nintex doesn't address more complex process automation scenarios ;
- It's easy to outgrow Nintex solutions as users appetite increases;

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Make sure you understand the type of processes you are intending to automate. Nintex is not a fit for all of them but it can play nice in simpler scenarios.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- compliance
- checklists
- notifications and email automation

  ### 28. Combine easily information from multiple sources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

DocGen is almost selfexplaining if you have created other mail merge templates before. You can combine data from so many different objects within ohne document and also include whole lists of related objects in tabular form.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

To include the list of related objects is a bit tricky if you do it for the first time.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can easily summarize information from across different objects either for yourself, but we mainly use it to support others without SF access. Another benefit is the professional look that the created document has.

  ### 29. New Experience with new product update

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I really like the way nintex WF is operating and overall design and ease of doing the development

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There are lot of existing issue is not behaving as it should be in online and user adoption is very hard and plus licensing pricing also gone very high because of which people are looking for other option such as flow

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

If you are looking for no code implementation then it will

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using nintex workflow for 365 for migrating on prem workflow to online.

We had a requirement where we needed a solution where we don't disturb the business user functionality and move the content using sharegate with nintex and moved out workflow in new online environment.

We faced many challenges to list few below.
- All the action was not available in online
- the way approval works was not same
- Unable to delegate the task which was available to user in previous version
- Email template and using the variable was difficult
- There is an absence of workflow in progress graphical representation.
- Lack of support for migrated content from nintex which is really bad
- Debugging the workflow is very hard

  ### 30. Cheap and easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

We use Nintex for our quoting process to create SO templates- I like that it is super easy to change and update things as you see fit. The document is just stored in word and you can update and then re-upload, its super easy to make a change and dont need to know any form of HTML or code like other platforms we have used. The support is some of the best i've dealt with- super quick to answer and often times help solving issues that are not even directly related to their platform.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Setting up the original templates can be hard if you do not know Word well.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this if we needed to make an edit to a quote template or SO template it would be a long drawn out process as our old system used HTML code. Having the templates live in Salesforce Documents saves us hours when it comes to making small changes

  ### 31. Low Code platform fit our needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The application can be used by someone with no development background (we had a BA creating the workflows after the initial training). The user interface, ViewFlow, is visually appealing and gives a lot of insight. Being a stand alone platform was important to us in case we wanted to move away from SharePoint. They have a great customer support system that can walk you thru your issues.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Minor upgrades are pretty seamless but major upgrades can require some work fixing processes.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have over 20 processes running in K2. A few simple approvals but most are very large business applications using Smartforms and workflow. We are now creating some K2 processes integrating with our RPA system.

  ### 32. Intuitive, well-designed.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The drag and drop interface is a welcome feature. The layout is uncluttered. The design is very intuitive and there have been very few, if any problems with the workflows. We have used the workflows 10,000+ times in each SharePoint list with very few errors encountered. Up to this point I have not encountered any limitations in what Nintex can do.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

When typing information in while configuring a module text will randomly disappear, but that's really about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

A high-quality product

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to automate our processes has saved time by reducing human errors. Also the automation of our processes has made the results of our processes very consistent.

  ### 33. Mix feelings on using K2 solution with a developer background

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

- Quickly implement solutions from idea with little technical background.
- Data can be driven and interact from most common Microsoft systems (SQL Server, SharePoint...)
- Management dashboard to track workflow and high level errors.
- Great for small projects and medium ones that doesn't need much interaction with many external systems.
- More powerful than InfoPath, as there are more rules and smartobject integration
- SmartAction. Have the ability to customize the keyword. This saves us alot of time and keep the upper management happy
- Visualize the workflow (though on silverlight)

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

- UI is very much outdated in today's standard.
- Hard to customize smartforms and very slow sometimes due to data loading.
- Rules are very hard to manage and duplication, along with no good versioning tool.
- API workflow call could be more robust.
- Only on Microsoft stack with no other options.
- Couldn't find a way to scale out easily.
- Not much endorsement on third party app developers. Some great ideas but never seem to make it to part of K2 build.
- Seems very slow on rolling out features, and there wasn't a clear roadmap on where it's going before K2 Five
- No adoption on AWS

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Great for small projects and medium ones that doesn't need much interaction with many external systems, with very well defined requirements and think long ahead how it can be scaled. Good to work with K2 architect first to narrow down the design.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Converted a email driven approval process to K2 with a formal submission and workflow approval. The benefits include one source of truth, metrics, and confidence to all users that it's an official process.

  ### 34. DocGen is very helpful!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keerthi P. | Programmer Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to seamlessly generate documents without having copy and past information from Salesforce to document templates.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I do not dislike anything about Drawloop DocGen so far. We haven't used it much yet but as much I have used I have only liked it.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for Document Generation.

  ### 35. Nintex as the Enterprise Workflow Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandan D. | Solutions Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex provides awesome features in all its products like Nintex Forms, Nintex Workflows, NWC and also Nintex App Studio.
Best things we like -
1. Code Less - Drag and drop actions and controls to achieve desired effect. preview the changes immediately.
2. Ease of use - Terms and jargons are pretty easy to understand. Even elderly business clients can create and manage their forms and workflows with minimal support.
3. Connectors - Wow!! SharePoint, Box, DocuSign, One Drive and so many more we are using via Nintex Workflows.
4. Actions - So so so many actions and even you can buy actions as packs for specific services. pay for what you need and not everything.
5. Mobile friendly forms - Responsive forms are device independent and friendly. Access them anywhere.
6. Great Support Team - Every time a Nintex case is raised, the support team has been super prompt and proactive to address the queries.
7. Responsive
8. Reporting - Hawkeye

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Things we would like Nintex to improve -
1. Loading time of forms
2. Cost is very high (not targeted at small business)
3. Test the features better before making them live.
4. Cannot use Javascript in responsive forms.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

1. Try it out. You would definitely love the experience.
2. Best in class workflows and forms.
3. App Studio helps you build apps in clicks for various platforms.
4. NWC is great. Can initiate workflows from external environment. even Webhooks.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Better UI
2. Better workflow management
3. Reporting
4. Actions like User's Profile
5. Connecting to On Premise solutions
6. Connecting to Cloud solutions
7. Integrating with other applications like Box, DocuSign SharePoint etc.
8. Responsive Mobile friendly UI
9. Ease of use lets clients develop and manage their forms and workflows with minimal support.

  ### 36. Flexible Platform for Building Custom Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

K2's platform and toolsets let you build customized workflow processes quickly. The features included for notifications, escalations, and reporting exceed the capabilities of other similar solutions and custom built tools.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

With version 4 there are some transitional issues that get in the way of some development and management tasks. From what I see most of those have been resolved in K2Five.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Focus on K2Five for your training and deployment rather than work on the earlier version.
Initial review by me seems to me that development and maintenance in the latest system has been simplifed and streamlined. It even seems like Five opens the door for end users to make updates and build their own workflows and forms.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using two workflows in production right now. The workflows have provided quick development times and fast turn abounds on issues and new features.
Our first workflow has resulted in increased productivity and visibility for users across a range of disciplines from a single dashboard.

  ### 37. Excellent Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability for teams to create scripts to automate manual processes that allow our bank to create efficiencies and add value to the bottom line

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The product was sold that any user can write scripts/bots for the organization. After multiple bank calls, reference checks, and attempts to do it ourselves it was discovered it requires a technical mindset to develop and maintain the scripts. We are now moving towards a center of excellence model with imbedded BA's, Business Owners and Technical Team.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are still rolling the product out and understanding risk associated with having Bots in a production environment. Quickly we will have Bots that will automate reoccurring tasks, one off large manual projects and acquisitions.

  ### 38. Nintex is very easy to use and very powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like the ability to easily create complex workflows. There are a lot of functions within Nintex Workflow that I would like to test to see how they work and from the Nintex Community I have been able to produce functional workflows with the least amount of steps. I also enjoy the new features that are regularly introduced. The best recent feature is the development mode and the connect feature.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The manuals are not very intuitive and I find I have to use google a lot to find out how to do different procedures. Some functionality I would have liked to use is not present and I have had to add steps to counteract this. The Document creation feature is limited to 250 before we have to purchase more. This is a feature that will be greatly used by our company for legal purposes and I would like to see this increased.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

This is a very easy to use solution with drag and drop functionality. There is a plethora of functions to use and quite complex workflows can be created. The Nintex Community is quite helpful as well.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Policies and Procedure follow up and approval process, Customer Support services, Incident Reporting are a few of the problems we are using Workflows form. The benefits for customer support and incident reporting allow an email to be sent with the particulars of the form so quick responses can be seen. With Policies and Procedures we can send reminder emails and use an approval process. Processes are being automated which alleviates the manual intervention we have used in the past.

  ### 39. Cloud Based Workflow Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony F. | Sr. Documentum Administrator, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex provides a very simple user interface for building and maintaining workflow. We just shifted from the on-prem offering to the O365 product and for the most part, we enjoy the O365 product overall but there a few things missing from the on-prem product. I believe Nintex is one of the best at workflow design and facilitation. The browser based UI is easy to us and doesn't require additional software to be installed.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

As mentioned above, there are a few things that are either not present or don't function as well in the O365 product compared to the on-prem product. I think it's just a matter of time before Nintex is able to perfect the cloud based products to perform exactly like on-prem.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a bunch of different use cases in higher education and with 13 schools, they all like to operate a little differently. We also use workflow in many of the administrative office such as finance (tax, accounts payable, etc.). We are currently building a workflow for Study Abroad that will allow staff, faculty and students to interact and complete the necessary forms required.

  ### 40. Overall a good product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like the ability to create, edit or delete a workflow without having to use SharePoint Designer. The IDE is easy to use, and it includes actions for all of the common, and not-so-common functions that you would like to find in a workflow product. Workflow constants at a site and site collection level, plus local variables allow you to add flexibility and complexity where required. User Defined Actions expand that flexibility exponentially.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I'm not privy to our company's support contract details, so this may be a simple misunderstanding or a matter of a multi-tier support model. But I would like a phone number to call when I have a simple question, or maybe an instant chat feature on their website. The support I receive is always good, in the end. I just wish it was a little faster at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

A good product for quick custom workflows. There is also a great deal of complexity available if required.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nintex allows us to roll out simple workflow processing on a very large scale. We have 75+ sites, each with 15 content types, and all of which require a small amount of data processing in a high volume situation. The simplicity of using Nintex allows us to create many similar workflows that can be copied across the sites quickly and easily. Even a complete redesign on this scale is moving along quickly, from the decision point through the deployment.

  ### 41. What can’t it do?!?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The thing I like best about Foxtrot is how many processes it can be applied to. I’ve used it for: data conversions- going from one system to the another, automating mundane tasks for a user, completing tasks during off hours that a user would otherwise have to do in the middle of the night, the list goes on. I wish all of my clients had access to Foxtrot.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There’s not much to dislike. I’d have to say that I wish there was a licensing version available for consultants so it can be used from client to client without the client having to own it.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data conversions. Automating tasks. Scheduling tasks. Retrieval of data.

  ### 42. Ease of Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Senior SSD Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

By far Foxtrot has the quickest development time for RPA systems, which means a quicker turnaround to having scripts run within our Production environment.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

That a computer workstation must be unlocked and viewable for a Foxtrot script to run. Our institution does not like needing to disable a lock screen functionality in order to have Foxtrot run a job totally unattended.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass Maintenance, our Bank has saved thousands of processing hours over the past few years.

  ### 43. Nintex and Workflow security

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ease of use for my internal customers.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The lack of security of Workflow Action parts. I have tried unsuccessfully to convey through support all the way up to the top the importance of securing the Action parts. It still remains a huge security hole, IMHO.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Make sure that securing Workflow actions is not a priority - it is possible to get around current security of these Actions.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing too complex - regular day to day workflows - like specialized approvals, sign-ups for internal events, etc.

  ### 44. Great way to manage your business processes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex Promapp is a simple tool, with the ability to easily store and communicate complex business processes. The ability to share and provide feedback is great.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The reporting overtime hasn't been great, however this is improving.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We aimed to replace our paper manuals with a searchable electronic tool.

  ### 45. Nintex Great Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Felipe H. | Sharepoint , Box & DocuSign Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex offer a really good Workflow and Form solution for end users where as OOO Sharepoint is more limited.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Slowness sometimes and disruptions in the system (Nintex) .. cd

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

I highly recommend the usage of nintex!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many we are using Nintex all across the company in AZ. We are getting a lot of benefits for end users and many departments and areas are simplification their processes,. We are thinking on creating a new provisioning by using Nintex as our provisioning engine where we are sure we will be able to save lots of money for the company and the process will be much more simple and quicker for end users. We are also in the process of using Nintex Workflow for Cloud which we are sure it will have a great impact for our users in the company.

Our team will receive cross-training in Nintex administration , they will learn how to use, create and administrate workflows, create and design forms because we are helping users to simplify their processes so they can better achieve their goals.

  ### 46. Nintex WF is incredible!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse M. | SharePoint Analyst, Utilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love how easy it is to quickly get a solution up and running! I can demo a working solution to a group in a matter of minutes rather than weeks or months with custom coded solutions. The drag and drop interface allows me to teach others how to use it and enable other areas of the business to create their own workflows, thus engaging them throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Some of the error handling is cryptic. This can cause us to waste time pinpointing exactly what went wrong. We generally put in "Log history" actions and then dump variables out to that, which forces us to run the workflow knowing that it will fail to determine what went wrong. This is a good debugging approach, but if there was a way to "Preview" the workflow somehow it would be awesome!

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Do research on "How To" use many of the actions. We spent a lot of time figuring out what actions are best suited for different processes and what their capabilities are. I spend a lot of time on their community site learning from other users mistakes and helping them understand their issues so that when we face the same ones, we know what to do!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using the workflow platform for task automation and approval, internal data lookups to populate out to lists, and even internal site creation automation. We have streamlined different processes that were very paper driven and opened up channels to communicate and track changes to requests and tasks, thus giving more visibility to executives.

  ### 47. Nintex Forms and Workflows Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I really like the level of customization you can bring to SharePoint forms. Nothing else beats Nintex forms in that area. I believe that the forms could use a bit more work to improve panel behavior and rules (such as when you have a rule error, rather than not rendering the form entirely, provide you with details about the offending code). But again from a customization standpoint it really is leaps and bounds over out of the box SharePoint and/or other vendor solutions.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Would like more transparency when errors occur, both on the front end in forms and on the backend with workflows.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are more agile and able to deliver solutions with a high degree of customization that would previously require oodles of JavaScript (JSOM, REST and classic JS) to resolve inflexibility issues with SharePoint forms or to implement rules. Workflows also provided room for documentation thus allowing developers to quickly understand what another develop had done prior when picking to enhance and existing product.

  ### 48. Lots of features in a single platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex Workflows for O365, makes automating business processes a breeze and connects to just about any data source.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There is a lack of granular control for developers. The classic forms which have JS support are rather antiquated and the JS library isn't well documented. The newer responsive forms look great on any device but lack any custom scripting, a middle option using a more HTML5/ES6 approach to allow for both scripting and responsive layout would be ideal; along with comprehensive documentation of the Nintex JS library.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

If you need a WYSIWYG tool for developing forms and workflows for business processes, this is one of the best tools for SharePoint on the market. If you need very heavy custom development, you're better off sticking with Flow/Azure Logic Apps and custom web parts.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating paper processes and approvals

  ### 49. Easy way to automate your business process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anderson S. | Senior Technology Management Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex provide a lot of functionalities that allow to a anyone users automate their process, no matter if you are an advanced user or common user, the interface is very intuitive and actions can be set for your needs. I had automate around sixty process without any advanced experience using workflow automation platforms. Also provide Nintex Live, a good way to capture information for users out of the company.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

At first I was needing more actions to handle and generate documents, however this functionalty was release for all platforms and now I'm very happy using this functionalty in my process.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

NIntex is the easy way to start to automate your business process, the best it's now is multiplatform, (Nintex Cloud).

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now we are capable to measure our process, before that, this measure was very hard to complete because we didn't have data to make it, now with we have available a lot of process data and we are makings insights with this data.

  ### 50. Outstanding!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa E. | Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

K2 has a very interesting way of presenting new ideas for the future.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I dislike how there's not more K2 to go around for everyone!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Computer and data analysis
