## Nintex Reviews
  ### 1. Enable business processes automation driven by the business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to provide an IT supported platform to the business where they can develop through configuration their business process fast and fully controlled by them.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The ability to store information in another platform like SQL server is great but you need super users or people with some skills to create databases. If this would be a functionality where it can be translated into non technical terms but still have the ability to create a new database outside the K2 database.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Use this platform for easy business process automation controlled by the business

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer setup and modification, Purchase order management, manual allocation, Inventory automation, Audit tools for supply chain, HR training and overtime,...

  ### 2. System Analyst

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klitthapas P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The development system in version 5.0 is easier to use and more understandable than the previous version.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Stopping support for K2 version 4.7 at the end of 2019 is too soon.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lease Agreement System

  ### 3. Hit and miss

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like the current pricing that the product has for onPrem. I bought license for the farm and users can use the workflow wherever they want in the farm. I don't like the idea of moving to paying for the number actions. The win of this product is that endusers are empowered to make workflow for themselves. Changing the pricing model will mean I need to be concerned more about how workflows are programmed to ensure best value but this development back on the SharePoint team.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I have had difficulty getting actions to work as expected. I have also had difficulties with the scheduled workflows not working. The solution being to reinstall which means downtime. This has also had a negative impact on how users are responding to Nintex.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business process automation and integration with other systems for syncing data into and out of SharePoint. We don't have forms at this time. We are also still 100% onprem. We will eventually be in the O365 but that will be a small footprint because much of our content needs to remain highly secured and confidential.

  ### 4. Nintex workflows to enhance productivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajkumar Y. | Consultant specialist, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex workflows are very helpful in designing productive solutions right within the browser.
Very user-friendly, and can be configured in no time.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

One thing in which nintex workflows are lagging on premise systems is the housekeeping part.
Housekeeping of workflows is not easy for large enterprise customers like us.

The out of the box purge options are timing out. It would be great if it can be incorporated in future releases. Purging workflows data should be made simple and a global configuration settings must be provided for nintex workflows auto purge activity based on certain rules.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document approvals, some of our internal teams build creative solutions out of the workflow actions provided.

  ### 5. Nintex - A decent tool for advanced SharePoint workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The design interface is very intuitive, and the out-of-the box components are very robust.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Like most tools of this nature, you will find that 90% of what you want to do in SharePoint is easier with Nintex. It can be frustrating when something that is very simple to do in something like .NET can be very difficult to do with Nintex.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Their support is pretty good although it can take a while for them to resolve issues. To do more complex tasks you need to use Javascript, but they actually try to discourage this.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have set up at least a dozen workflows to improve the process flow and automation at our company. Complex notification processes for onboarding and offboarding have been great candidates to migrate to a Nintex workflow. It's far easier to track what has (or has not) been done for onboarding and offboarding now.

  ### 6. K2

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

K2 is a swiss army knife for business problems, we use it for pretty much everything.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Ramp up time for training a new developer.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Understand that you will need training on this platform, but that ultimately, it's by far the best in class and absolutely worth investment.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of system inter connectivity with K2, so custom brokers and SmartForms are the strongest features for us.

  ### 7. Nintex SharePoint Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd S. | Deskside Support, Automotive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Flexibility of the application the forms are very easy to use and workflows with enough time have been wonderful as well.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I have not really had time to review the training material on the site but it has taken some time for me to get acclimated to the workflow tool.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were new to SharePoint 2013 and I really wanted to demonstrate the power of the tool and Nintex really helped me do so.

  ### 8. Used multiple versions on several farms for a few companies and each time I'm impressed.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2017

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

That it is fully connected to the SharePoint farm, that there was no need for additional servers to build and maintain.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I wish that there was a more integrated help/hint/tutorial system to aid in use and creation of workflows. Given that it nests itself within the same servers as SharePoint, it does create an added load on the farm servers, which may tip the performance to the point that additional servers are required, thereby requiring additional servers to license with Nintex and Microsoft.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

get your people training, esp those power users not just the IT folks

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple: Form processing, document review and approval, expense reports, purchase requests, legal actions, financial reporting

  ### 9. Plenty of options and integration actions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo R. | Principal, Staffing and Recruiting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

It's just simple to use and IT departments can focus on more complex workflows, since the platform is intuitive enough that end users can create their own simple workflows. Also, love the integration opportunities it offers!

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Workflow errors could be more specific. Many times I find myself not knowing where to go.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nintex resolves the need to have humans doing anything repetitive, and instead they can focus on thinking, creating, and improving processes.

  ### 10. Good but could be much better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The concept and multiple tools. In general it, works pretty good.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The fact that they even let you purchase this without mass document generation. Creating a single document is pretty pointless. It was not clear during the purchasing process that you had to buy something on top of the cost for DrawLoop to do mass merges. In addition, the functionality is somewhat clunky although I must admit I have not updated to the new version.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Try out the demo first but keep in mind you WILL have to pay extra to do mass merge. That is not really clear when doing the demo.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send out letters to many customers at once and do not wish to create these documents individually.

  ### 11. Great product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

OOTB allows for standing up quick very complex business process in minimal time. Complex enough for the most senior of developers and intuitive enough for the most novice of technical-ish business user.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The nature of browser based development that can't be helped.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Debugging tools need 1,000% enhancement!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

digitizing paper processes integrating digital signature technologies to allow for eSignatures. Building supply chain systems

  ### 12. Great software set, but still a bit clunky to operate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

It's very easy to create template documents (Once you get your users to contribute). The field tagger is easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

It can be tough to transform data from fields before it's inserted into the template. For instance, text fields that need to be converted from uppercase to proper case can be converted, but it requires an excel document serving as "middleware" to accomplish.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quote generation, Custom notificaiton documents, custom part lists.

  ### 13. Nintex workflow is so powerful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara S. | IT Business Analyst and SharePoint Developer, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like that everything is visual, complex workflows can be generated just by drag and drop.
It's really great that we can benefit form CAML query.

Nintex form responsive is perfect for creating simple device friendly forms, however Nintex classic is a power tool for generating more complex form by using javascript and custom CSS.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I've found that the development in Nintex is pretty slow.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Almost all SharePoint requests go through Nintex.

  ### 14. I wish it was better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

There are many good things about this program, but its only geard toward processes I wish it was just one big program that you could use to cover all areas of the company. This way we wouldn't have to pay for a bunch of different programs.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I wish you were more friendly with HR department

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

I think its a great program but I wish It worked well with the HR side of things.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manufacturing problems that would come up. Now we have processes that tell the operators how to run everything.

  ### 15. Nintex Forms and Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex form controls are easy to understand and its features are really good. Especially designing a form using rules is the best part.
Workflow can be created effectively with meaningful information provided in the action items.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Some features can be improved in review/approval tasks.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the review processes are automated which resolved 70% of manual work.

  ### 16. Nintex Workflow 2016

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to quickly develop sharepoint forms and workflows. It has a lot of functionality that is built in that allows for quick development and integration with key platforms (Active Directory, SQL).

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There are limitations to what can be developed and we do experience odd errors that can't be replicated. Safe looping also causes some headaches. Some functions are available for form rules but not available for workflow and vice versa.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Understand the use cases that you want to use the platform for and what benefits you're seeking. There are limitations to a no-code platform that will limit the customizations that your business maybe looking for.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nintex Workflow has allowed us to automate small to medium business processes where there were no automation. This includes: master reference data tracking, HR onboarding/offboarding, various issue trackers, user profile data management, integration with service request ticketing system.

  ### 17. Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamilton L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love the versatility of Nintex how it makes our documents move efficiently into packages .

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Some times frustrates me that when you pull the documents from the folders into the package there is no way to sort them alphabetically which if you have lots of documents it would be pretty handy function

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

I recommend Nintex as document generation for others to consider as it is one of the best tools in the market that delivers what it says it does. You can use it in so many ways and it's integrates in so many ways to applications, documents, spreadsheets, databases, emails, forms, anything that is needed to create, generate documents Nintex does it and does it very well. You can access the workflow platform in mobile devices, laptops, tablets. The way nintex makes all documents and automation to flow together is impressive. It is easy to design, generate and deliver the documents and forms in any format.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a mortgage company we have so many different documents to generate and process Nintex makes the generation and flow of these documents so much faster and better

  ### 18. Nintex Empowers SharePoint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex WF allows us to meet business requests when SharePoint can't by itself. WF empowers use to build more and do more, especially when paired with Nintex Forms.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Can't print from Nintex Forms without Nintex Enterprise, a $60k upgrade just to print, can't use any of the other features since we only have SharePoint Standard.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Consider the costs in the future too when you need additional web front ends.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nintex Workflow allows us to sync data from one list to another to create top level dashboard that shows a summary of data from all projects for example. We also build a lot of approval workflows for various needs.

  ### 19. Easy to create workflow and forms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I was using SharePoint Designer to create forms and workflows. It was taking forever and I really wasn't getting what I wanted out of it. I sure wish I had Nintex sooner. I was able to recreate the forms and the workflows to work better.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There seems to be a lot more advanced processes then simple processes.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

You should make time to determine what your first project will be, document it up and then take the Nintex class first., It was a great class.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating many more workflows to make process are automated and not done manually. It has already saved hours of time.

  ### 20. Foxtrot for Mergers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ease of use and improved efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Moving licenses around for other people to have access.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to save money and improve efficiency when using Foxtrot for different business tasks.

  ### 21. Great for Beginners and

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clint W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy of doing simple tasks. Almost anyone can learn how to send automated emails

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Set nodes. Would like to be able to write my own JavaScript nodes. Also a better way of using functions besides the User Defined Actions

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Even though you are using a node-based scripting tool, having programming knowledge is a huge plus and necessary for admins and advanced users.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the user creation of simple forms. In a large company the support team does not have the staff to create and support every form. So having a tool easy enough for novice user to create a simple form in is huge.

  ### 22. Good for the most part, but not excellent

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Software makes sharepoint workflows easier to manage. Navigation is intuitive, and building and designing workflows is pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Workflows sometimes fail for no reason whatsoever. It is a known issue, and apparently there is not much that can be done to correct it. Even if everything inside the workflow looks good, and all the variables are properly linked, and data feeds configured correctly, workflows just fail. You have to go in, end the workflow, and then re-run it. That usually fixes the issue. This adds to the maintenance aspect of using Nintex, and can be pretty annoying sometimes.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to automate processes, easier to manage workflows.

  ### 23. using workflows to create documentation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

it's solid, does the job, saves time. i have little to no issues supporting my userbase

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

per user licensing. This seems a bit nitpicky, but per user just doesn't seem like something that says "we want you to save your company by using us"

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automation was the main concern. this works well with the needs of our business

  ### 24. Nintex Doc Gen for Salesforce gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Ninetex Doc Gen is Powerful and Flexable. Once we set it up with the necessary MS Word templates it is now able to generate a variety of documents used in our sales process (applications and contracts). By generating locked PDFs we are sure our prospects are getting the right documents.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Took a while to configure. Also a lot of the smarts comes from the code embedded in the MS Word document which can be tricky to maintain.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Give it a try. Building a simple template is quite easy.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to generate highly customized contracts with our clients. Great to generate locked PDFs so we can empower our sales team to generate the docs themselves.

  ### 25. Awesome doc generation tool - documents within seconds!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

We like that it's all built within Salesforce, so the sales team can stay in their own realm. And it's easy to setup, have a few checkboxes in the Salesforce objects that someone checks, runs Drawloop, and they get the document in a few seconds.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Support is sometimes lacking when you experience a serious problem. They too often say, "Please read the user manual" but don't cite a specific section. We had numerous questions when first setting it all up, and they did not support us at all. We had to figure it out ourselves, which ended up being a good thing since now we know exactly how to do everything, but other vendors cite a specific help article or get you started in the right direction when you have questions.

They also lacked support when we tried to integrate with Office 365, took them 6 months to resolve the issue with a feature that they couldn't speak higher about during the evaluation process.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Do your research and evaluate all possible vendors to figure out what your company needs and what vendor's solution best fits your wants and needs.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We knocked our proposal generation process from a few hours to a minute. Now, instead of searching numerous templates and then updating each slide with client name, project name, etc, Drawloop does this for us right from the Salesforce record.

We now focus on what matters in a proposal--the content specific to that client and that project.

  ### 26. Nintex Doc Gen has been fulfilling.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The complexity of reports you can generate.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Some of the formatting differences that occur between the uploaded Excel file to when the PDF document is generated is frustrating. It is not WYSISWYG.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Check first to see if you can generate the reports you need by using the already available Salesforce Reports tab.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to generate the documents used to present financial information to our clients.

  ### 27. Great product for document automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

customized reporting and contracts, great!

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

docusign integration seems to be a hiccup

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

saving time, increasing efficiency and reducing trivial tasks

  ### 28. Able to finish what we needed to do but with some difficulty.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connie T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The efficiency and speediness of user support. I was able to hop onto a go to meeting with a support specialist in no time at all and he was really helpful in identifying and giving solutions to our problems. The end result: at the end, Nintex did do what we needed it to, but with some difficulty and needing to access supportive services.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The process wasn't intuitive and required some trial and error, which ate into the number of documents we purchased in our contract with Nintex. It was our first time running through processing and batching year-end receipts to donors through this software and we wanted to be able to do pause and edit, as well as mass export word documents immediately, but had to work through a queue and the process became messy and confusing. One thing I would recommend as a development point is being able to sort and group exports by batches-- to eliminate just dealing with ID numbers of each document and easily getting mixed up. I would also like to be able to see a count of how many documents we have left to be able to generated.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Make sure the back-end of your Salesforce org is configured correctly to be able to generate the documents that you need. I would also recommend working with a specialist for the initial set-up as well as through your initial run through to ensure you're pulling exactly what you need to avoid mistrials and eating into the number of documents you've purchased.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We purchased Nintex to be able to use for mass mail merge documents with more complexity than simple and singular plug and play fields. We do like the end result as well as the ability to track that we had sent out a document per donor in Salesforce automatically, not manually.

  ### 29. Excellent Product and would recommend

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Makes my job seamless and easier to get other things done

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

not much is there to dislike, everything I have seen is good

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Form Filing and Repetitive Data Entry

  ### 30. Resolves my business needs and issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Automation with sfdc
Optional documents

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contract package and service report generation

  ### 31. Rethinking Automation through desired outcomes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Allowing us to rethink HOW we do things, not just create an automated version of a tired process we cling to. Our teams are empowered to create their own solutions, from their own perspective and expertise and not rely on a large project or an IT understanding.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Like anything, there are limits, we are proud to say that the excitement in the capability promotes interesting use cases that find these limits. Up to this point there has been limited help from Nintex directly and more pushing us to engage a partner even for small 'get over a hump' items.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Help users understand how to find challenges and how to think differently on solving them vs just automating the existing manual process.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Associate Engagement
Headcount Management
Legal compliance - Department of Labor data collection

We have found that we can create a no code solution with quick turn around and do it in close partnership with business stakeholders. This allows for an agile, iterative focus that everyone enjoys.

  ### 32. Tim Hare - Nintex Workflow Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim H. | Manager, Management Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like how simple and quick it is to take an automated process concept and implement it without custom code and other applications.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Sometimes the user experience is difficult to work with, especially in the O365 version. At times it's really slow and or cumbersome. It is improving so this is really a minor issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

I would definitely recommend any organization in any industry to take a look at this product to see how it can improve their business processes and aid in their digital transformation initiatives.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most frequent processes I use with my clients is capital expenditure approval processes. The ability to use the state machine functionality is a huge benefit when navigating the different approval paths and scenario differences such as request thresholds and departmental requirements. This has allowed the clients to significantly streamline the approval timeframe and cut down on man-hours needed for the process.

  ### 33. Simple To Use System for Complex Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2017

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to understand, drag and drop actions. Words instead of code. A community full of thought out answers for any situation. Great customer support. Automates administrative tasks for specialized professionals so it is especially great for solo or small businesses who don't have a lot of time to deal with those items. Constantly providing updates and new features. Able to generate Word / PDF documentation from SharePoint data, including photos. Great functionality for mobile devices - iPad, iPhone, Android, etc with multiple layouts. Very excited for what's coming up next.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Some lack of parity between the O365 product and on-prem product - features as well as terminology / aesthetic, which I understand that they are working on. Lack of workflow history in O365 is a bit upsetting. Sometimes errors can occur which are quite vague.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Go on subscription, try it out for a year, and watch your ROI. You are almost guaranteed to see yourself making back the entire cost plus some, as long as you implement it thoughtfully. If you are doing any kind of a business where your employees go out to the field to gather data, you are losing money by not utilizing this product.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HUGE time and money savings for users out in the field collecting data, and creating reports. Saving likely up to 3 hrs per day in administrative work for highly paid specialists.

  ### 34. Excellent product for SharePoint workflow - for small to midsize, not large, enterprises.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Senior Vice President, Scientific and Regulatory, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Ease of configuration and ready to use solutions for many out-of the-box SharePoint annoyances - things that should be easy in SharePoint but aren't such as workflow delegation and attractive forms.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Does not scale for large (500 user+) installations. Nintex workflows continually fire and slow large SharePoint systems to a crawl. Does not deploy across environments easily for continuous integration and SharePoint platform development.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Be sure that you carefully understand what it can and cannot do.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Line of business SharePoint solutions that cannot be delivered with SharePoint out-of-the-box and that would not be economically viable for a custom SharePoint developed app.

  ### 35. Great product but it could be better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Simplicity to design workflows for critical processes.
It is a really plus comparing it to SharePoint Designer

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Using Web-services and troubleshooting errors.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Try to use it for ever. If one day you have to stop using it, wou will hate Nintex as lots of Workflow will stop working.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lots of workflows for different areas that need approval processes.

  ### 36. Power in the application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick S. | Salesforce Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to import fields into a form, and then theme the form to match our company's branding. The fact that the app llives inside of Salesforce, makes it easy to relate the fields.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Can't think of anything, but if you want advanced functions, you need to get your hands dirty.
The online documentation needs more information on how to do more with the app. Maybe more examples but using case studies is good, but visual examples would help in creating documents on our end. Some of the setting up of the template is cumbersome. Also, activating users is a pain, since we have to do a 2 step process. And then the user receives an error on their end where they have to click twice on the authorization.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

You will need some skills in graphics or template layouts, to accomplish a professional looking form. The more work you put into it, the better the results will be.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating forms that would normally take a rep 45 to 60 minutes to complete, has been reduced to a click of a button. We have increased category share in one of our segments by 3%, which equates to $4MM a year. Also saved 600 man hours by creating an automated form that extracts data from 2 salesforce orgs. Users are liking the ease of accessing the form and automating it to increase their productivity is a huge plus. We are considering other areas where we can utilize this app and increase ROI and increase other users in the company to use the app.

  ### 37. Amazing easy to use Forms & Workflow tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganesh L. | Solutions Architect, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to use interface, drag and drop feature, rich set of functions

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

slows down your sharepoint environments sometimes, if you have large number of workflows running, ned to independent

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Nintex is easy to use, learn and create workflows and forms. Definitely you should try it out

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have automated business processes for our customers in almost all areas starting from HR to tracking physical assets.

  ### 38. Excellent Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeane M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Nintex wants their clients to know as much as their support team. When I could not figure find a solution to complex document generation, Nintex is always willing to assist as well as TEACH me how to do it in the future.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I wish there was an option for dynamic email generation without the need for producing a document to attach to it. Often, the native salesforce option is not what we are looking for unless coding in html is second nature.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

In the 3.5+ years since using Nintex, I have found their solutions to document generation extremely thorough. If you can think of it, Nintex more than likely can accomplish it. We use it for a number of solutions including payment reminders, contribution recaps, email generation with attached dynamic documents, nametag merging directly from salesforce. Nearly all of our applications are utilized on an object record and in mass, depending on the immediate need. We love Nintex!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to merge nametags - complicated ones with images and listing both primary registrant and guest name on the same document. We issue end of year contribution recaps to our donors using Nintex, and much more.

  ### 39. Design and develop Nintex form and workflow for SharePoint business processes.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to use in comparison to SharePoint designer workflow. Better UI. Drag and drop action. Wide range of workflow actions.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Incase of more number of actions, performance gets reduced

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Automate Business processes. Easy to user. Lot of workflow actions to use.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of manual business processes. Set Item permission on SharePoint list and libraries. Business Approval process. Implementing State based workflows

  ### 40. Nintex Doc

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lakshmi s. | Salesforces Admin, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easier to manipulate via Drag Drop.Ease of implementation and out of the box solutions to map fields into documents with dictated logic,Also I really like the design of the user interface
Easier to create a wider form
Rules seem easier to use
Access to most data sources seem more straight-forward

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

It was a very good product by nintex to generate a documents . They are no dislike about this product. This is a good tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

its very good for quick generating reports, brochure to talk with our business partner. it makes life very ease.

It makes faster the document generation and make easier the use of the system for new users. On the other hand, it have been very useful for automate the sending of the daily emails, schedule the daily reports and the drawloop, with the standard options we were not able to configure all our needs.
One of the best features that have found in the application is merge multiple documents into a single PDF, for a long time I searched for something similar and I didn't find a solution.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nintex DocGen: Generate, merge and deliver customized proposals, quotes, contracts, reports, or any other type of document

  ### 41. Generating documents hasn't been easier!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jillian T T. | The Solution/COO, Oil & Energy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Once you have it all setup and ready to go it will be the best thing for your company to make complete documents straight from information input into Saleforce so you don't have to. The process is faster and precise.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Setting up the forms can sometimes be a drag as you need to watch for placement on the actual document itself to make sure things are in the right place. I've also had trouble with downloading the documents to Box, but it's a small issue that I and the company overcome.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Just be patient in the setup and the time will be made up with your document generation. Believe me, it's worth it!

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of the caveman way of doing pen-to-paper documents, it cuts that time tremendously and has your document up and ready to go within a few seconds. It's important to have this document generation on hand for our investors who prefer to do business through snail mail, rather than electronically, so the time constraints don't get overwhelmed.

  ### 42. Nintex DrawLoop Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul P. | Software Engineer, Salesforce.com Developer & Admin, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to implement and supports automatic document generation via workflow and outbound messages (Auto DDP's at extra cost). Quick and excellent customer support. Great document solution if using Salesforce and DocuSign, although a single solution (depends how in-bead you are with DocuSign or other similar eSignature solution).

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Does not have additional features like contract redlining and e-signature built-in. Error messages require giving a long "Error ID" to support rather than providing the error messages during document generation. Cannot deploy to same package, will create a new copy so ID's will change. Rate of new features since the business got acquired -- seems to not be the same as competing solutions.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

This used to be the best recommended solution for document generation, but the acquisition to Nintex slowed down features compared to other older solutions (Conga) and new solutions (PandaDoc).

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating dynamic Master Service Level agreements from SalesForce contracts for eSignature along with capturing additional detail from customers in-process which in-turn writes back into SalesForce. Also additional quoting and document generation needs.

  ### 43. Ritchie Zhu's Review from SNC Lavalin Inc (Canada Line Operation)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritchie Z. | Business Systems Analyst, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Allow CSS and JavaScript customization easily.
The solution is portable and deployable.
Cross subsite list queries are available.
Easy to setup and change the format.
Good community support.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Hard to debug any server side issue, have to rely on the Nintex support.
Lack of different type of templates for general type of forms, such as tab(step) based.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Good tool for setting up the forms and workflows. Best in the market.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intranet communicate and collaboration. Replacing InfoPath with Nintex has given us a lot of flexibility and space for creativity. The user experience enhancement was the top 1 benefit.

  ### 44. Easy to Use for Both Beginners and Advanced Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Flexibility in capabilities. Can be simple or powerful, and you can get creative with the solutions you come up with to fit the need. I like that the support forums are active should assistance be needed.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Better documentation is needed in regards to examples for common needs. Sometimes, a hack-like workaround is needed to get it to do what you need it to do.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

YouTube How-To's will come in handy for figuring out how to do more advanced things.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gained efficiency over manual entry. Freed up a lot of time for users to think about things that matter.

  ### 45. Salesforce forms project

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Very easy to use and makes good standard pictures with a common sense approach. Not burdened by BA rules

  ### 47. Nintex is a time saver!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2017

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like the ease of use and the powerful workflows and forms you can create. It is even easy enough for some of our power users to quickly build advanced functionality in our SharePoint 2013 farm.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The support could be a little better. We've had to use support on several occasions and typically it takes 1-2 business days to hear back from anyone, and then another 1-2 days to actually start to work on the issue.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Nintex workflows to automate approve processes as well as to track and manage product requests within the organization.

  ### 48. Powerful product full of options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kris V. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Workflows have a lot of flexibility and power. We have many different workflows in production which have significantly cut down on our internal processing which has saved us a lot of man hours.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

It takes a bit of a learning curve to get started but once you get familiar with things there isn't a lot that you can't do.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process flow has been our most significant benefit. Instead of scanning, emailing and attaching many copies of documents around to individuals in our company we just send an email with links to the documents needed for review.
