It's not incredibly easy to use. Click on the link, watch the training, answer a couple questions. Boom, you've just learned a whole new technique to keep your cyber-use safe! **What do you dislike about NINJIO Security Awareness?** I have not had a negative experience with Ninjio. Our team has had great success after doing monthly trainings in keeping up with the videos and being more aware of new and existing techniques that can harm us and how to look out for them. **What problems is NINJIO Security Awareness solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most of our team consist of individuals stepping into their professional careers. That said, they don't all know the best techniques for remaining safe when it comes to securing and protecting our data. We've even had an employee once fall into the phishing email "from our ceo". After beginning our training with Ninjio, we haven't had an incidences and we have more concious employees reaching out to verify. That is exactly what we wanted! On the odd occasion when the need arises to contact support at NINJIO, the team acts quickly and resolves the issue. As we are a very small organization, ease of implementation was key. The staff love getting their videos as they know they can take a break during their busy days and watch the cartoons. We signed up, our rep adds new staff and removes old staff for me. All we have to do is wait for our monthly videos. They release new, high-quality, relevant content every month. Cybercriminals are exploiting new technologies and attack vectors all the time. NINJIO's monthly cadence keeps us informed of the latest threats, and helps us build a culture of security. 2. Besides being educational and relevant, the episodes are short and entertaining. Many of my users are excited to watch the new episodes every month. Retaining professional Hollywood writers and actors to produce the content is a brilliant strategy. The fact that the users enjoy it means less chasing and nagging people to complete their training. 3. Our account manager and support team have been consistently helpful and a pleasure to work with. They are always responsive, and the small issues or concerns we've had have been handled quickly. 4. Their licensing allows users to share the episodes with friends and family, to help keep them safe as well. **What do you dislike about NINJIO Security Awareness?** 1. The management and reporting platform could use some improvements. They are actually migrating to a different platform now and I'm excited to see how it works. 2. Related to the first point, I like to export some data from the platform for my own analysis and reporting. There's an additional charge for API access, which we are not keen to pay, so I'm forced to do it via the standard reports, since there's no customization. At least they can be automatically generated and emailed on a schedule. And again, hopefully the new platform will offer some improvements here. 3. They are based in the USA, and the majority of their customers are there. Their availability, content, etc reflect a focus on that market. I hope as they gain market share in other regions they will adopt a more international posture. 4. Really nitpicking, but I don't care for their name being all uppercase. The first point of entry is often a phishing email, SMS, or other interaction. So helping our users recognize these attacks and teaching them how not to be a victim is a big part of securing our organization. You know that there must be something valuable there somewhere, but all you hear is static and noise. In contrast, NINJIO delivers timely, relevant security training that is actually engaging, memorable, and useful. The animated videos are short and the takeaways for each lesson are easy to identify and understand. The handy infographics that are sent out to reinforce the lessons help to solidify the concepts and make them easy to remember. With storytelling, NINJIO manages to distill complex security topics into manageable morsels that even our most tech-wary team members digest with ease. You may be thinking, "This all sounds great, but does it actually work?" We've been using NINJIO for a couple of years now and for us the value is clear. Not only do we have a low-maintenance training solution that meets our compliance needs, but our team's security awareness has measurably improved. Our team members regularly initiate organic conversations about security topics based on what they recently learned and we’re better able, individually and collaboratively, to identify threats and take preventive measures. **What do you dislike about NINJIO Security Awareness?** The admin dashboard is a bit clunky and finding or managing people and content can be a bit challenging. It doesn’t feel as intuitive or useful as it could be. We’d love to see a smoother user experience on mobile, white labeling options, and more off-the-shelf integrations in the future (for example, with security compliance monitoring platforms like Drata or communication apps like Slack). We have a cognitively diverse team with a wide range of learning needs and we tend to have high expectations because we’re a software and data quality assurance company. Occasionally our team runs into bugs or accessibility obstacles, but NINJIO has always been responsive and their support team is always receptive to the feedback that we send to them. It's clear that they care about quality and that they're striving to continually make improvements. **What problems is NINJIO Security Awareness solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to develop and implement security training to meet our security framework compliance needs and we needed to increase our team's awareness of a wide range of security topics so that we could improve our ability to identify and mitigate security threats. We're a small team and we didn't have the time or expertise to develop this training. Our Custome Success Manager is always available if I need anything and is proactive with sharing updates. **What do you dislike about NINJIO Security Awareness?** This is a really hard question. There really haven't been any issues using their platform or integrating the content with our systems. Our employees are constantly on their computers, emailing people from all over the country, and navigating to various websites every day. CyberSecurity is a HUGE deal. They are willing to take the 3-4 minutes and watch the episode. I hear from the staff all the time "I wouldn't click on that" or when they receive and suspicious email they say "I saw one like this on Ninjio". Using Ninjio has made them very aware and many are using the family subscription to pass the info on to their family. **What do you dislike about NINJIO Security Awareness?** There is not very much that we don't like about Ninjio. Some of the administration is a bit clunky as well as we are not able to be totally self sufficient. For example removing users that are no longer employed. We have to send an email in to remove terminated users rather than just being able to delete them. **What problems is NINJIO Security Awareness solving and how is that benefiting you?** It definitely is making our users more aware of links and attachments and what they can do to the Company. We have had far less issues with users clicking on the links and downloading the attachments. They have begun to understand the need to verify an email prior to taking any action that is suggested in the email. It has also made them aware of other ways that the bad actors try to get into our environment so they are more willing to comply with having IT checkout devices such as thumb drives before plugging them into the systems. ### 15. Given the animated format, a lot othe teachable moments from the training videos are very memorable because Ninjio really tries to make the content exciting. We've recieved a lot of internal feedback from our employees that they really enjoy watching the content because its very engaging. Another nice thing of the traning platform is that they also allow friends and family members of the employees to watch the content as well, which further strengthens the security posture of the employee. **What do you dislike about NINJIO Security Awareness?** Ninjio's administrative panel does leave alot to be desired in regards to functionality and ease of use, but is sufficient to get the job done. They could definitely improve how they display and filter through end user usage data. Sometimes, the UI can be confusing and complex to navigate. However, we generally don't need to use the interface that much since most of it just works out of the box. **What problems is NINJIO Security Awareness solving and how is that benefiting you?** As part of our SOC 2 compliance program, we needed to have a security awareness training module at least once a year, but Ninjio was better then once a year since it would allow for continuous training.
