What do you like best about NinjaOne?

NinjaOne is an essential tool for our IT department, helping us support over 15,000 employees and 14,000 endpoints. We use it for remote access and issue resolution, running scripts to clean up computers and retrieve necessary information from workstations. We appreciate the ability to monitor our workstations' health.

NinjaOne's customer service is the best I've experienced in my 20-year career. Their response time and attention to detail exceed those of most other IT vendors. They genuinely enjoy talking to and listening to their customers, from their support staff to their upper management levels. It's evident that they prioritize their customers.

Deploying and using NinjaOne was simple and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

The only thing that I can really say is for them to have better documented information on which permissions go with which system ( and I believe they are working on that ). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centralized all of our monitoring and control of the end points into one location. We where able to have backups, patch management, AV deployment and monitoring, Remote Access, Reporting and Monitoring of the locations in one spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

We were previously using ConnectWise Automate, and whilst it gave us everything we needed as a business, it was only when we had a demo of NinjaOne did we realise what we were actually missing. The product was easy to configure and setup with step-by-step guides. The integration into our PSA system was seamless and we experienced no issues. NinjaOne gives us features that we didn't realise we needed and has opened our eyes on how a RMM platform should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

There are some features within the remote access tool that are missing compared to what we had before with ScreenConnect, however we have reviewed the roadmap and they are upcoming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed an RMM application that was fast, efficient and easy to use, along with features such as reporting and monitoring. NinjaOne offers it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Easy to Deploy and implement and integrate into our systems from startup, and gives super detailed information. It saves us a lot of time because we are spread out over 65 locations and can remote in to help our employees! We've received raving feedback already from many who are excited for this type of internal support we did not have before.

I use this daily to complete taks and take care of our employees.

Their customer support is also par none and I love how fast they get back to us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

It's missing a few features that would be nice, but their mobile app is probably needing the most help. However I can log into computers with it. Offline equipment is also not as easy to add - but can be done. They are working on imporving this and I have seen improvments over the past year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had no easy way to remote into computers (using zoom screen share before). We also had no idea how many computers we actually had out there or what condition they were in. We've discovered many things about our tech asserts through NinjaONE! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

After years of dealing with the challenges posed by Kaseya, NinjaOne has been a game-changer for our operations. Billing? Straightforward. Support? Responsive. Site speed and overall functionality? Seamless. Reflecting on the countless hours lost troubleshooting with Datto and Kaseya, I can’t help but appreciate the simplicity and efficiency NinjaOne brings to the table. Its network scanning tools effortlessly locate endpoints, adopt them, install agents, and streamline workflows—allowing me to focus on my work without unnecessary frustration. The intuitive MFA process further enhances the experience, eliminating the need for repeated support requests.

Patch management and backup solutions with NinjaOne are equally impressive. The platform's hybrid backup options, supporting both cloud and local environments, enabled us to consolidate multiple backup utilities into a single, cohesive system. Managing these critical tasks has never been easier or more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

Organizational management could be a little easier to use. For remote desktop access we use a lot of Linux machines but the current version only supports Windows, forcing us to use Wine or in some cases Windows VM's to assist. A native client would be helpful.

My associates dislike NinjaOne as not using Kaseya gives me more time to walk around and help other people with their issues instead of crushing my stress cow and yelling at my monitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

A great feature of NinjaOne is the feature request as part of their roadmap. We need a Linux client, it's now on the roadmap. We needed a desktop preview/thumbnail feature, it's on the roadmap.

Developers and teams that actually listen to their customers. Microsoft could stand to learn a thing or two about that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Easy setup and package generation. Policies are able to be tailored as required. Add-on software can usually be incorporated under various policies. Deployment is straight forward. We deploy it on every staff computer used. We only have issues on AVD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

When deployed to a AVD it tends to install everything as a server product instead of a "desktop" product. While it is true that most virtual desktop systems run on a server base, the client/desktop portion for the end-user is running as a Windows Pro computer and we require the Ninja agent, update agent, and add-on softwares (such as TeamViewer) to behave as such.

So far we have not had that required "client" experience and Ninja does not have a solution, despite acknowledging our findings. AVD is very comon now, so having it not recognize and connect properly as a desktop, rather than a server, is slightly problematic. For standalone computers, it is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our company works in a WFH model for many departments, including Tech. In addition, we have staff across the country, and in some cases, in various countries. Once installed, Ninja allows us to keep those staff systems up-to-date and managed as required, as well as being able to remotely aid the staff member when needed. This keeps the staff uptime high and minimzes the requirement of sending out replacement systems in many cases. Using the data collected about the system on a regular basis also allows us to make decisions on what computers may require upgrading or components changed out. Remote software review lets us see what software may be missing, or on the system that should not be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Ninja one makes it easy to monitor user devices for viruses, malware, PUP and other negative programs. It has a robust feature set that makes it easy to impliment changes on devices quickly and create groups for users at various access levels. You can monitor software updates and push out notifications in addition to setting up a schedule to check as frequently as you would like.

It's very easy to get users integrated in the process as you just send a sign up link to your users and they can enroll whatever device they would like; the service runs in the background so they never need to update anything, but they can preform scans if you would like to give them access to do that. Ninja one's team does an excellent job getting you started and implementing changes with you and has great support after the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

Definately a learning curve if you have never used a service like this before. And even if you have, it's a bit clunky at times.

Once you get the hang of navigating the interface it is easy to get around and provide updates.

THere is also a ton of informaiton here! Good that they have it, but it can seem overwhelming at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing endpoint updates and monitoring systems for viruses/malware. This benefits us as we can be proactive in keeping systems updated and protected from attacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

I've used a few different end user management softwares before but none of them have been as good as NinjaOne. It covers all the basic needs any helpdesk or IT department and keeps it all as simple as possible. The new Ninja Remote feature has been a significant improvement over splashtop or even team viewer. The end user remote desktop feature has also been a cruical leg up for my department and has come in handy on numerous emergency occassions. All around, great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

I don't have too many issues with NinjaOne. A lot of the "everyday use" problems can usually be addressed in the customer service portal or "dojo" or on the public forums. If you can't get an answer there you can still contact a reperesenative or technician to get it resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

NinjaOne puts all of our core end user devices in one easy-to-use location for our entire IT department. Whether its checking on a device or helping an end user with a ticket, its very convinent its all located in one web application. Since utilizing the MDM feature of Ninja as well it has been a one stop shop for all of our devices. It has been a cruical part in making our IT department far more efficent at its job. What do you like best about NinjaOne?

I really like ninja for their integrations with our psa, built in remote tool, and ability to action a device based on device activities or device state. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

The scripting within ninja is extremely basic and lacks features. I like that we can have saved parameter values but there needs to be a way to have those encrypted and needs to be more robust than just having multiple values defined by having a space in between value 1 and 2. This also means there is no way to have optional parameters since if I try to provide a value for param 1 and 3 I have no way to do that other than removing the param. This is one of many issues with scripting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ability to connect to end user devices without needing a device code from user, ability to create backups of critical infrastructure and restore to cloud, and ability to action devices based on state of device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

We came from using an on-premise system that provided patch management for endpoints, but being a mobile-centric organization, it was incredibly difficult to ensure patches were applied regularly. NinjaOne provided the secure remote patch management that we desperately needed with the benefit of being easy to implement and manage; now, our endpoints receive secure updates and patches regularly, whether locally connected or connected via the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

Currently, or at least last I checked, NinjaOne will only integrate with Microsoft Entra for SSO. It would be a nice feature for it to sync with Microsoft Entra to link computers with agents installed with computers in Active Directory; that way, when computers are no longer in Active Directory, NinjaOne can offload them from its system automatically versus having to manually do clean. The same goes for importing user accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ability to provide patch management to endpoints so long as they have internet access vs the previous solution, which was on-premise only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Even though the pace of new features is relatively impressive, and the community staff and product managers/leads are often available in their own excellent community Discord server and are open to feedback, the user interface is simple and easy to grasp for new technicians and is responsive and easy to do even somewaht complex things for advanced users. Standard PowerShell scripting with flexible custom fields and script variables make for powerful customization, add-on features are integrated well, integrations with several third-party systems are strong, and the API provides a lot of additional automation power should it be necessary to do more than the UI allows. The agent is also very solid and rarely has corruption or instability issues, though if there any they are relatively easy to resolve. They even provide their own solid self-removal scripts to start fresh should you need to. It's nice that SSO with Entra ID, Okta, and others is not only there, it's being actively upgraded and expanded regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

There are a number of features I personally wish were there, such as Git/GitHub integration or alternately API access to custom scripts, more things visible and controllable via the API like policies (that policies exist is visible, the configuration details are not), they have made and continue to make substantial progress in many areas. Dark mode isn't there yet but is coming in 2025. It would be nice if the agent had both macOS Apple Silicon native binaries as well as Windows on ARM native binaries, but the current agents do run under the temporary interpreters so they function, just not as efficiently as they could/should. So there are some technical gaps that in many cases they are working on (and they have a public product roadmap), but have not been addressed that I wish were. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

We mange IT support for other companies as an MSP, and NinjaOne allows us to flexibly monitor, track, review, access/control, report on the computers and servers at our clients without running our own centralized infrastructure, in a flexible and secure way. It simplifies and centralizes our support and can be customized to automate or solve most software problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Everything is right at your fingertips. PC information, remote support, help desk, and automation. Love being able to run command prompt ping tests without having to interrupt the end user. We use it all the time. Its easy to roll out and simple for end users to use. And if we ever have a question, their support is there with help. Utilizing automation really helps save time on new PC setups, saving us a lot of valuable time. We install Windows, install NinjaOne and run New PC setup automation and everything gets installed and configured without our techs having to do anything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

It would be nice to reopen a closed ticket if we needed to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows us to help end users without having to be there. Keep track of tickets. And keeps 3rd party applications up to date. We have clinics around the area and it allows us to help end users without having to travel. Automation allowes us to keep programs and computers up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
