Recommendations to others considering Nimbus Capture: There are some websites where the entire page capture option doesn't work; for these cases, I advise trying the Fireshot extension; it helps me sometimes when the Nimbus option fails. It is truly convenient to take a wide range of screenshots in no matter of time. Available actions are diverse yet easy to access thanks to customizable shortcuts. Yet another aspect I appreciate is the continual improvement. Years ago, "select & scroll" screenshots on Chrome were inaccurate. I was glad to realize that the issue was fixed once and for all. "Dislike" is too much said, but I would say that the process of full-page capture is unnecessarily long, I have to click once, twice, yet another time to get my screenshot. Versatile and adaptable. Web app is clean and functional. Desktop app is a genuine and polished offline solution for sharing and collecting data, notes and multi media. I feel it's task management, and features around this have really grown over the past 6 months to hit some of the much needed features. More granular permissions for access to workspaces, notes, folders or even tasks. The visuals have improved and it now feels like a genuine project management tool! I like that Nimbus Capture integrates with Nimbus. I very much love Nimbus as a place to store and organize data, so being able to send images straight there is very useful. There are also built-in screen capture tools in the computer operating system. Sometimes Nimbus Capture might seem a tiny bit laggy, and I just want to use the built in tool on my computer. While the edit and text tools are limited in terms of font/size, it makes it really quick and easy to comment or draw on screenshots and share a link to that screenshot to colleagues. Sometimes the edit features on an image can get a little glitchy and it results in the screenshot being more time-consuming to edit than it's worth. Especially where fonts/drawing options overlap. The most reliable option to get a full-page screenshot and the convenience with which we can get it done from the extension added to our browser (I am using Google Chrome). The other features are also very convenient like the screen recording. You can get it done from the added extension itself and no need to download heavy applications anymore. Just move your cursor to the top right and get things done in 2/3 clicks, no need to run heavy apps especially if you are using light hardware with not a very powerful processor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Nimbus Capture? To be honest, this is one of the 'rare' software where there's nothing I want to mention I 'don't like. Well, one thing can be improved, the 'shortcut' to start and stop recordings do not work smoothly at times and you need to scroll up to the extension and click from there to stop recording when you want to end a screen recording. Also, I was unable to write on the video while I was making a tutorial video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Nimbus Capture: This is a one-stop solution for screen recording and screen capture solutions. Previously I had to use bandicam and others for screen recording and for full-page screen captures I had to use print screen multiple times or other softwares. The problem I faced with others is their chrome extensions have bugs or do not work seamlessly after a few usages. I have since then been using this Nimbus extension. When you create a screenshot, there is an editor with many options like adding comments, cropping, and even blur for any sensitive information. I wish that developers include some fixes to make a screenshot from the Google Chrome inspector to share specific website breakpoints with my clients; when you do so, it creates a hollow space and obliges me to use the crop tool unnecessarily. Recommendations to others considering Nimbus Capture: There is a feature not too mentioned, but good to know that If you have a screenshot or other image on your device, you can upload it to nimbus and enjoy the editor, too, so I use it with images created from any other tool. Hence, most of the time I am prompted about where to click or how to access a particular section of the WordPress admin to achieve any given task. Nimbus is so easy to take a screenshot from the admin and put on some marks or identifiers, so at the end, explanations being so visual makes them understand and replicate by their own the task or adjust they are looking to get done.
