We love the intuitive interface and easy-to-set-up cloud software. The slack integration makes it super easy to continue to monitor in a dedicated channel without navigating to the Nightfall UI. Nightfall is incredibly easy to use. Once deployed, it runs quietly in the background, scanning all messages and files in real-time to identify potential violations. While Nightfall has excellent detection rates, it can be a bit over-sensitive in some areas. As it's built over an AI system, it needs to "learn" your systems while you handle & modify the sensitivity thresholds of its detectors. From a security standpoint, it's excellent as you're privy to all potential alerts, but during the initial deployment, it will take some time to fine-tune & get past the false positives. Good tool to flag content added to Jira tickets. It's easy to set up verification rules based on what you need and tweak their sensitivity. You can also define your own rules.

The product is still early so some things are missing like advanced user management but the team at Nightfall will give you any assistance you may need.

We have used Nightfall for Github for nearly a year now and it has been a fantastic tool in detecting secrets in Github repos.
