I use Nickel to bill customers and take payments, as well as to pay bills. Nickel makes it so much easier to pay bills that we load up in QuickBooks and receive payments from our customers. I really appreciate the simplicity of the solution and the good customer support when needed. When QuickBooks cut us off and we couldn't get support, Nickel saved the day. I switched to Nickel for my invoicing and payment system because it's quick and efficient. I can send out invoices directly to clients and maintain great record-keeping. I upgraded to pro to do batch payments. Their batch payment feature lets you select multiple invoices for payment, but sends the payments as single transactions. I was wanting a single email with payment advice to go to my suppliers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a commercial landlord, I decided to switch to Nickel because they offer free ACH payments. Although it can take up to five days for payments to appear in my account, I don't mind since that account doesn't earn interest. As long as I know the payments are coming through, the timing works for me. I appreciate Nickel's communication—they send emails when payments are received, processed, and when I can expect the funds in my account. I wish there were a mid-level subscription tier in the $10-15 per month range that included a few additional features. I’d be willing to pay for the option to set up recurring invoices, but at the moment, I have to manually create a new invoice each month for every tenant. It is very user friendly and with the free start up service it lets me get my business started using ACH payments without the heavy up front costs allowing me to grow into it. I have not linked it with my Quickbooks as i still have the Desktop version but very excited for the partnership into the future with Nickel. I don't like that the resident themselves can't set up a payment plan on certain terms. For instance, If I give them a due date, I don't care how they pay it. The option of them changing the amount seems to be confusing for them. they updated the banking terminology that is listed on the banks lately that makes it harder to reconcile, but still easy to use.
