"Zero-Fee ACH and Seamless QuickBooks Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Nickel?

Zero-fee ACH payments. The integration with QuickBooks is very simple and automated, and I like having reminders built in. I also appreciate being able to control whether the client pays the card fees or not. The card-on-file and ACH-on-file features are super helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nickel?

Nothing, we left QB payment processing and never looked back Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Subcontractor Payments, Needs Faster Deposits"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Nickel?

I find Nickel easy to use and filter, which makes it simpler to streamline payments to our subcontractors. It helps me easily find which subcontractors have pending payments and provides visibility to both pending and previous payments. The initial setup was easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nickel?

I wish the direct deposit was same day. Our subcontractors are dependent on the payments, and we are only paying them when we have the funds so the more instant the better for us and them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean Interface and Easy Payment Reminders"
4/5
What do you like best about Nickel?

- Clean interface

- Ability to pass processing fees to customers

- It's easy to send payment reminders with one click Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nickel?

- With our current workflow, we have to create invoices in QuickBooks and sync them to Nickel, so the two-step process is a little annoying

- No ability to change the customer contact after the invoice is initially sent, for example if the client asks for an invoice to be sent to a different email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Affordable Invoicing Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Nickel?

I really appreciate Nickel's low cost and simplicity. The setup was dead simple because I don't have to link it to QB, which keeps everything straightforward. I like that I can send reminders for payments without having to resend the entire invoice, which feels less pushy and more friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nickel?

People weren't quite sure that they could receive payments if their bank wasn't listed. They also were wondering if they had to create an account to receive or make payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Support and Seamless QuickBooks Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Nickel?

Their customer service and how open they are to new features and to improving their system based on each client's needs. It has been amazing working with them. All the problems I've had, they resolved them, and if I need help or if I have questions about anything, they are always there to assist.

On the other hand, their system is easy to understand, is awesome working with a platform that can connect with QuickBooks, and where we can manage everything without trouble. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nickel?

When I first started working with them, I had a couple of things that were a challenge for me, as soon as I shared with them this, they started to work on it to fix and improve what I needed. They are prepared to grow, and all these challenges are just a way for them to keep getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Customer Service, Clear Pricing, and a Feature-Rich Free Tier"
4/5
What do you like best about Nickel?

I evaluated or tested Stripe, Melio, Helcim, GoCardless, Nickel, Forwardly, and DepositFix. I ended up going with Nickel and am satisfied for these reasons: excellent customer service, intuitive user interface, clear pricing, transaction times well communicated and delivered on, and lots of features under the free tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nickel?

I wish that they had a mid tier--I am a small business and needed recurring incoming payments, which requires upgrading to their paid tier ($45/mo or$420/year). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
