## NiceJob Reviews
  ### 1. Great for Collecting Reviews, But Falls Short in Other Key Areas

**What do you like best about NiceJob?**

We started using NiceJob primarily as a review platform, and in that respect it does what it promises: it helps drive reviews, which was our main reason for purchasing. For that purpose, it’s been solid.

Our team has also found value in their support team: very quick responses and very detailed, when needed.

**What do you dislike about NiceJob?**

That said, there are a number of downsides we’ve experienced:

Landing Page SEO: The company site/landing page NiceJob creates for you doesn’t rank well. Even when searching something as direct as “our company reviews,” it often shows up on page 2 or 3 of Google and lower on the SERPs than other review platforms. There are simple SEO improvements they could implement, but they’re not there yet.

Referrals: One of the big selling points for us was the referral system, but it hasn’t generated results. Editing the automated conversations are limited.

Multi-location Challenges: If you’re running multiple locations, the platform gets clunky. Switching between locations isn’t smooth, and the “Stories” widget becomes unusable when tied to Facebook reviews. The same review gets duplicated across every location. There’s also no flexibility to choose how many reviews to display; you’re stuck with 15, which is overwhelming on mobile.

Lack of Export Options: You can’t export your reviews, which limits usability.

On-the-Ground Review Collection: Transitioning from an installer in the field to a customer leaving a review is awkward. The only suggested workaround is having every installer create their own NiceJob profile/app account and get trained, which isn’t practical at scale.

Overall, NiceJob is a decent solution if you only need a simple way to collect more reviews. But if you’re hoping to use the other features such as  SEO benefits, referrals, or multi-location support, you may find it falls short.

**What problems is NiceJob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NiceJob is helping automate reviews. After initial setup, the platform works completely on its own.

  ### 2. Boosts Google Reviews, Complicated Onboarding, Website Won't Load

**What do you like best about NiceJob?**

It gets the job done. We have gotten a lot more Google reviews.

**What do you dislike about NiceJob?**

Website won't load most of the time and they have no idea why. I have to clear cookies and cache if I want to use it but I can't do that every day. I have set up two accounts and both automatically triggered before I was prompted to edit messages or even know what was going out. There needs to be clear onboarding steps and right now there are none. I can't imagine someone not heavily invested in this having an easy go at it. I am heavily invested, and I found it way more complicated than it needed to be.

**What problems is NiceJob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's getting us a lot of Google reviews.

**What do you like best about NiceJob?**

I love the automation to help get reviews from clients to write a review. They make it extremely easy for the clients and we have had the fastest review growth to date!

**What do you dislike about NiceJob?**

I gave 9 stars because I was disappointed to learn they charge in USD although they are a Canadian company. As a fellow Canadian company, it's frustrating always having to pay more because of the exchange. They should offer Canadians be able to pay in CAD.

**What problems is NiceJob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding the time to regularly ask for reviews as our current methods was not enough. Also, the fact that it posts updates to Facebook and our website helps us build value with no extra tasks on our plate!

It helps us get more reviews, hands down

**What do you dislike about NiceJob?**

It's cost prohibitive, it used to be nearly half the price and the service did not improve with that price hike. The option for customers to leave reviews on Nicejob needs to have an option to turn it off. I understand the idea, that it's an option for people who do not have gmail accounts. It's still stupid. We have lost a number of great reviews, from customers who have gmail accounts but instead left a great review on Nicejob which no one will ever see. There's no visibility and no one cares about a review on the Nicejob site, and no one will ever care about it as much as Google reviews. Make it an option to disable. I would rather have no place for people without gmail accounts to leave a review than lose a great review to Nicejob because someone can't figure out which button to press. Remove the button I don't want them to press.
