What do you like best?

It has been hard, period, for all of us. What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

I started using Newswire because it offered more value than other PR distribution tools for our campaigns. I could get the same or better distribution at a better cost. What's really kept me is how responsive their team has been. They've helped me clear last-minute changes to a release and been very responsive to any questions I have about getting something published or using their add-on tools.

Here are the things I like:

What do you like best?

Newswire is extremely affordable, especially when held against its peers in the press release space. These services at their core just submission aggregates, they absolutely have a place. Mostly because they have built the submission algorithms to very quickly get your article on all of the automatic acceptance release aggregate sites and in the Google News rotation, which is where the real value lies. What do you dislike?

Like most press release services, your press release isn't going to wind up magically creating value for your SEO profile. Most of the backlinks created are nofollow. A large majority of the ones that aren't nofollow are on websites that inherently pass through very little backlink value because they are just content farms. What do you like best?

The configuration and upload of press releases are easy and intuitive. It is simple to follow the process and add additional features and improve the potential reach if needed. Therefore, the customization of each press release is possible to tailor it to individual needs. Good distribution across most popular and industry specific media. One thing to highlight is the excellent customer service that replies very fast and is highly supportive. Additionally, the provided analytics allow good performance insights and help to understand to overall reach and impression of each news distribution. For all the service provided, the price is reasonable and can be customized based on the features and reach needed for each press release. Since we are a small company, this flexibility is highly attractive to us and suits our needs. What do you dislike?

Sometimes I receive email messages/ replies from their distribution partners after they shared our news with them. Such as "Thanks for sharing but we are not interested", or out of office notifications. It seems that these are replies on the original messages sent from newswire employees to spread our news.

Additionally, we are experiencing some issues with invoicing after each press release distribution. Our company is based in Germany and for our invoicing process, we need an official invoice that contains more details, such as company name, full address, if possible also the VAT number and the items or services with details about the quantity and single price. After each press release, I have to reach out to the customer support to request the detailed invoice for our system. I love Newswire for its ease of use & flexibility. Set up different media rooms for each company you represent. Build out press releases, link up their social media platforms, add images, video, supplemental material. What do you like best?

Very straightforward to make and edit your PR. The Newswire team will respond quickly if your content doesn't meet editorial guidelines so you can make a quality press release. Extensive pickup and distribution of your press release. It still up to you to make a quality presentation, but if done right, they have a solid rep for picking up and distributing your PR. What do you dislike?

Well, if anything, it's the price. I wish it was lower. The baseline submission is pretty reasonable. The options can add up. It's hard to tell if the lower cost services would provide equivalent coverage as Newswire. But, I do think they present a professional news service feel vs. the other options. The only equivalent alternative would be business wire which has certified timed releases for public companies. I think Newswire is a better value if you're not required to meet public mandates. Very professional and transparent site that has all you need for a successful press release. If you need to send out a press release but don't want to pay an arm and a leg or skimp out on features, try out Newswire.

Their pricing is very fair and they include an image and a list at no extra cost! I remember attempting to use another site for a press release and they wanted to charge me upwards of 200 dollars for an extra photo.

Also something of note, for their Digital Plus Membership and above, they offer a 2-tier editorial process. This means that you don't have to necessarily be an expert at writing these types of releases; Newswire will make sure your release is well written and optimized to show up in search results.

Thus far, our press releases, which deal with mergers & acquisitions that we facilitate, mostly wind up on what appears to be generic websites built specifically to be press release clearinghouses. Newswire was easy to use with no hidden fees. We were able to receive huge amounts of interest and re-posts. We also love the analytics that Newswire provides so that we know where it has been published. We also like the consulting services that they provide around each press release. There is nothing that we really disliked or would change. We do feel it a little pricey but it is same as all the competitors but has much more services behind it. Flexible, easy to use, preview feature, and share with your team to cooperation

The formatting tool is easy to use, and similar to the wyswyg editing.

Lots of options with pricing, from entry level very low price, to additional options, depending on you intended for the PR.

If you use Newswire often, you can get package deals that provides additional discount and benefit.

The downloaded the preview page (PDF export feature) does not have the same web looking when the PR is released.

However, sometimes they lack the concreteness and correct language that will resonate directly with our customers. The interface is very simple and allows you to customize everything on one screen. The press distribution lists really make this service a cut above. There are a lot of good contacts that can be acquired. The analytics portion is helpful and the visualizations for all of the different reports are worthwhile. I also like that the distribution stays region specific. What do you like best?

A media agency that already has already checked all the boxes on basic, expected tasks and processes. Leaves more time for strategic thinking. Also having a media partner who has solid contacts in each of the publications and distribution silos that apply to your business is a great benefit.
