## About Neural4D
Neural4D is developed by DreamTech, a research-to-product team with affiliations at Nanjing University, Oxford University, and Fudan University. The platform's 3D generation engine is built on Direct3D-S2, a proprietary sparse volumetric model that supports up to 2048³ resolution geometry and runs approximately 12x faster than prior generation architectures, as demonstrated at NeurIPS 2025. Core product modules: 3D Studio - Text to 3D: Generate a 3D mesh from a text description. Base mesh generation takes approximately 90 seconds. Full PBR-textured output requires additional processing time (typically 2 minutes or more total). - Image to 3D: Reconstruct a 3D model from a single image or multiple reference angles. Multi-view input mode is now supported for improved geometric accuracy. - AI Texture: Apply AI-generated PBR materials to any uploaded 3D mesh using a 2D reference image as a style guide. - AI Retopo: Automatically generate clean quad-dominant topology from raw geometry, producing game-engine-ready assets without manual retopology. - AnimeArt: Generate VRM-format anime characters from text prompts or 2D image references. Suitable for VTuber production, game character pipelines, and animation studios. 2D Generation (independent modules) - AI Image Generator: Text-to-image generation. Output can be used directly or fed into the 3D and video pipelines. - AI Video Generator: Text-to-video generation for social media, e-commerce advertising, and rapid visual prototyping. Neural4D-2.5 A conversational multimodal model that allows users to refine 3D mesh geometry, topology, and materials through natural language instructions. Applicable to Text to 3D and Image to 3D outputs only. API & Enterprise Neural4D offers a 3D generation API for studios and developers, with support for custom fine-tuning on specific asset categories. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees and private deployment options.

**What do you like best about Neural4D?**

The biggest advantage for me is how quickly it turns an idea into a basic 3D model. It helps when I want to explore different concepts without spending a lot of time on the initial modeling stage. The interface is easy to understand, and generating multiple variations makes it easier to compare ideas before moving to detailed work.

**What do you dislike about Neural4D?**

The generated models are useful as a starting point, but they still need some cleanup or refinement for more detailed projects. I also think the free usage is a bit limited, so testing several ideas in one session can become restrictive.

**What problems is Neural4D solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neural4D reduces the time needed to create early 3D concepts from scratch. Instead of building every model manually, I can generate an initial version, review the overall form, and continue refining it in my usual workflow. It makes concept exploration faster and helps me evaluate more ideas within the same project.
