Netwrix Threat Prevention is a real-time change and access monitoring solution that captures events directly at the source rather than relying on native Windows logs. It detects suspicious authentication activity and unauthorized modifications as they happen and can be configured to automatically block risky actions, such as unauthorized changes to privileged groups, domain controllers, and Group Policy Objects to stop privilege escalation, policy tampering, and other identity-based attacks before they cause damage. Built-in alerting, centralized event storage and search, and integrations with SIEM platforms support faster investigation and response. It also helps enforce strong passwords and reduce the risk of brute-force attacks. Active Directory is only as secure as it is clean, understood, properly configured, closely monitored, and tightly controlled and native logs are often too noisy, incomplete, or slow to make that possible. This detailed information was great to present to upper management with the ability to answer any of their questions. **What do you dislike about Netwrix Threat Prevention?** Features included in the software don't work on all systems. The staff worked hard to attempt to address those issues but the result was that the functionality promised was lacking **Recommendations to others considering Netwrix Threat Prevention:** Verify that the requirements you are paying for will work in your environment before the purchase rather than them making changes after the fact. **What problems is Netwrix Threat Prevention solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool provided detailed reports on system, Active Directory, and file-level changes. It was beneficial to display who moved a file and its location. We were able to generate detail reports on modification and changes that the Admins were doing to fulfill company audit requirements ### 2.
