The analytics jobs are using too much of the processor and memory on the SQL server. Some analytics jobs takes more than 24 hours to execute. The data is as current as a scheduled jobs. What do you dislike about Netwrix Access Analyzer? It is somewhat complicated to configure, but not so complicated that a normal user couldnt use it out of the box. What problems is Netwrix Access Analyzer solving and how is that benefiting you? We had a malware attack our fileserver and encrypt 5TB of data over a long weekeend. If I had had StealthBits back then, it would have disabled the compromised domain account and stopped the encryption in its tracks (which would have saved us 16 hours downtime restoring data from backups. Support and follow up is key to this project, Verisk uses StealthBits project team to assist in the design and build out of this tool. The support staff is eager to work through issues and establish standards as part of the build process. Overall the product meets our needs with the various functions we purchased. I found that the various links in the docs move you around and creates confusion when trying to drill down. I would also like to see better training and if possible formal training . We understand the challenge around an agent versus an agent-less approach when collecting information. We at STEALTHbits are proud of our generally agent-less architecture. With an agent-less led architecture, StealthAUDIT’s overhead is lighter than any competitor’s, resulting in lower impact on system performance and lower Total Cost of Ownership. However, StealthAUDIT can also employ the use of highly tuned agents, but only in cases where activity monitoring is needed. Should that not be a part of your use case then you may be able to continue with an exclusively agent-less approach!
