"Efficient Financial Management with Excellent Drill-Down Features"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I really appreciate NetSuite for its drill-down features that are wonderful, as they allow me to dig deeper into the system. The ability to use the related records feature and stay within the same family or record to gather information is fantastic. I can keep drilling down to the source document and don't have to keep going back into a search bar, which saves time and enhances efficiency. I find that maintaining up-to-date, minute accuracy in our financial reporting and inventory supplies is a major benefit. The capability to drill down in a transaction and get base data, all the way from purchase to delivery to the customer, to billing and receivables, is really nice. These features make managing daily operations and financial processes much more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think the ability to create reports more quickly could be improved. I believe using AI for a quick search would really enhance the functionality. Also, when building reports, sometimes it's not easy to know the actual name of a field, especially with custom reports or ones we've built. Having the common name of a field visible while building reports would be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible for Complex Operations, but a Tedious and Clunky UI"
3.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I think NetSuite is a strong fit for complex business operations, and it gives a lot of flexibility to tailor it to how a business actually works, including connecting with outside vendors and syncing business data. That saves a lot of time. That's about where the positivity ends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is undoubtedly powerful for complex global operations, the daily user experience is hindered by an unintuitive, rigid UI and significant performance hurdles. Routine tasks often feel like tedious chores rather than streamlined workflows.

Key areas for improvement:

Inflexible Search & Navigation: The Global Search and Saved Search functions lack the agility of modern software. Designing a transaction search is a "needle in a haystack" exercise that often yields overwhelming, unfiltered results. Furthermore, the search is incredibly unforgiving; a single misspelling returns zero results rather than helpful suggestions.

Performance & Data Export Issues: The system can be sluggish when processing large datasets. A major pain point is exporting the General Ledger for auditors; the system often struggles with high transaction volumes, requiring significant "finagling." We frequently have to manually piece data together in Excel to ensure everything ties back, which defeats the purpose of an automated ERP.

High Technical Barrier: The learning curve is exceptionally steep. Performing basic data imports or setting up essential transaction searches requires either specialized internal expertise, hours spent googling or asking AI (and hoping it gets it right) or expensive outside consultants. This reliance on third-party scripting for basic business needs highlights a major gap in out-of-the-box user-friendliness.

Misaligned AI Integration: The current AI tools feel disconnected from practical daily needs. While they offer high-level financial interpretation, they fail to assist with "on-the-ground" friction points like navigating features, building reports, or simplifying data movement. When it takes hours of manual setup to move data in or out, and make sure you don't break anything, the platform's complexity begins to cost more in labor time than it saves in automation.

There are also better packages out there for billing and payments that work much smoother and easier than Netsuite. We integrate those instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Highly Customizable ERP—But the Learning Curve and Docs Can Be Tough"
3.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

As the Website Manager at BoxoUSA, I interact with NetSuite primarily as our central source of truth for inventory and product data. I feel that it is an incredibly powerful ERP system. While our operations team handles the financials, I rely heavily on its robust inventory management capabilities.

I specifically like how deep the customizations go with saved searches and workflows. I use custom saved searches daily to pull accurate SKU data, pricing tiers, and stock levels so I can ensure our e-commerce storefronts are perfectly aligned. Their new AI integration has also been a great addition, making it much easier to learn how to build complex queries and navigate the platform efficiently. Finally, the support is top-notch; if I ever hit a snag pulling product data for the website, I can easily jump on a live chat or open a ticket directly within the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

No single person can know everything about NetSuite; it’s simply too vast of a system. As a Website Manager, I find it difficult to navigate the Suite Answers pages when I’m looking for specific instructions on how to adjust inventory data fields or e-commerce sync settings. Without proper training, it’s easy to pull the wrong product data.

It also feels like many of the features or settings you’d want aren’t located where you would expect them to be. There isn’t one central place to enable a feature for product listings; instead, settings can be tucked away in obscure parts of the platform. I really wish there were an AI chat assistant I could ask questions to directly from any page to help me find the specific website-related data I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review NetSuite ERP"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I use NetSuite mainly for its CRM, and I am very satisfied with it because everything is going very well. I appreciate the ease of use of the tool, which is very user-friendly. What I like about NetSuite is that you can look at the KPIs, the number of sales every month, and the number of appointments booked. We have access to opportunities generated by lead, which I find really impressive, especially when you are in sales. NetSuite allows me to have a clear view of my pipeline and a complete history of recorded discussions and activities, which makes my sales strategy very effective. I use the Safe Search feature extensively to classify accounts by revenue, industry, and number of employees. Thus, when I contact a client, I can have a coherent conversation and offer them suitable services. I also use NetSuite with Zoom Info to access more information on each account, which better adapts my sales approach, and I am also very satisfied with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

When we enter our call and email activities, it is not automatic; we have to enter them manually. It is time-consuming, and each day, we can spend several hours at the end of the day entering our activities. Compared to HubSpot where everything is automated, NetSuite could improve this aspect to avoid these repetitive tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward Administration with Strong Customizability and Compatibility"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

The customizability and compatibility. Administration of the platform is straightforward and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Despite the push for NetSuite Next, I find the UI outdated when it comes to form presentation, especially for non-technical business users. As an administrator, customizing user forms for transactions and entities should offer me way more control. Using a workflow to hide or show fields is clunky and outdated. I want more control over layout.

In addition, saved searches are still a pain to build, especially for transactions. This could be immediately be resolved by adding pre-built search types for each transaction type, and always filtering unapplicable fields from both Filters and Results (for example, a transaction body field might only be visible on a Sales transaction, but still be an option when building a Purchase Order search (manually filtering a transaction search to Purchase Order). "Unified ERP with Real-Time Visibility and Powerful Extensibility"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

"What we value most is the unified platform — having financials, inventory, and operations in a single system of record has significantly reduced the data reconciliation overhead we previously dealt with across disconnected tools. The real-time visibility into our operational and financial data has been particularly valuable as we scale.

More recently, we've been able to extend NetSuite's value further by layering conversational AI on top of it — we built a Claude-powered integration that allows our Finance and Ops teams to query NetSuite data in natural language, which has meaningfully reduced the time spent on routine reporting and data pulls. That kind of extensibility is something we didn't anticipate when we first implemented, but it's become one of the more impactful things we've done with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Like any mature ERP platform, there are areas where NetSuite still has room to grow. The UI, while functional, can feel dated compared to more modern SaaS applications — particularly for occasional users who aren't in the system daily. There's a learning curve that can slow adoption, especially for non-finance teams.

Saved searches and legacy reporting are powerful once you know how to use them, but they're not intuitive for business users who just want quick answers without relying on an administrator to build a report for them. We've found that teams often default to exporting to Excel rather than leveraging native reporting — which somewhat defeats the purpose of a unified platform.

The absence of a built-in BI layer is probably our biggest gap. NetSuite gives you the data, but visualizing it and building executive-level dashboards typically requires a third-party tool. That's an additional cost and integration overhead that we'd love to see addressed natively within the platform.

That said, these are areas we've worked around — the AI integration we've built on top of NetSuite partially addresses the reporting accessibility gap by letting users ask questions in plain language rather than navigating saved searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Platform with Endless Opportunities to Learn"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like best about NetSuite is its flexibility and extensibility. The SuiteCloud platform allows me to solve complex business problems through SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteTalk, making it possible to build solutions that are tailored to each customer's needs. I also enjoy the continuous learning opportunities, as the platform is constantly evolving with new features and capabilities. Being able to automate processes, improve efficiency, and deliver real business value makes working with NetSuite both challenging and rewarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think NetSuite could continue improving its user experience, developer tooling, and documentation. Modernizing some parts of the UI, enhancing debugging capabilities, and providing more comprehensive technical documentation would make development more efficient while maintaining the platform's strong functionality. "Easy Customization, Needs Faster Processing"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I find NetSuite very easy to navigate, which helps me quickly locate the accessories and company details I need. I like how straightforward it is to use and to filter for the specific information I’m looking for, and I also appreciate the ability to customize the page. In particular, customizing the homepage so it includes all the necessary shortcuts is especially useful for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think the latency and overall processing speed could be improved, because it sometimes takes a bit too long to process tasks and respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Product has a lot of potential but lots of small hiccups"
3.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

Product is dependable for the most part. Comprehensive ERP system for small businesses that will check off most of your requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Implementation engineers seem reluctant and not as proactive, do no recommend the professional services team for implementation. Premium support is lacking the expertise and there are different tiers of support. Premium support will give you the minimal and you'll almost end up with a offshore support staff that you're likely to spend 2-3 times repeating yourself for them to understand. Definitely go with an in house support person or an external support team if you can, not via NS.

Customizations not as customizable as promised, lots of requests for enhancements that we don't know when will get build, or if it ever will.

Learning platform comes at a cost too whereas most SasS now offers the training for free.

You'll get hit with huge price jump at renewal so be aware.

Ridiculously slow loading times for a cloud website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Friendly UI and Seamless Integrations That Save Hours"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is one of the best ERP I have used. The UI is friendly. The font is not too formal. It can integrate with several other applications seamlessly that saves me hours each week. I like that the box in a transaction where you enter an amount can act like a calculator - it's an unexpected but useful feature! The drag-and-drop feature in Journal, Bill, etc modules is very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

NetSuite can be irritating sometimes, to be honest. There are some limitations especially when it comes to multi-book setup that cause issues later without knowing it at a time.

As advanced as NetSuite is, as complicated as it can be as well. The user is required a proper training in order to understand the system and optimize the features.

NetSuite can sometimes be slow and delayed as well, especially in Advanced Intercompany Journal Entry module. And if we make a copy of an existing AIJE, the account in lines twitches and sometimes changes itself when we click enter from one line to another. That causes a little bit f extra time to double check before saving the transaction. And if we missed it, it will cause the issue later when presenting a report to an executive.
