What do you like best?

The BEST thing about Netsuite is the flexibility for the system to be customized to a particular process (and not having to change our process to the limits of our ERP/CRM system).

Netsuite allows us to create Custom Inputs, Reports, Queries, Forms and Records. with a Visual Workflow Manager that can control the entire process like; making fields required for certain users, showing popup messages to inform the user, sending email notifications etc.. Basically the Workflow Manager allows us to automate work and control our process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

When working with any hosted service there can be a downside to time for submitting work to the cloud. Its a matter of milliseconds but is noticeable compared to running a desktop Application on a local server. Of course this is more than made up by knowing that we no longer need to ever reenter any data into a different system because Netsuite runs our entire business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Netsuite should be considered for any business that is needing an ERP, SRP or CRM solution ...or even better if you need all three. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were able to remove a full rack of servers that we had to maintain (Application Software, Hardware and Server Operating Systems). A big plus is enabling our team can work from wherever they are. During the last big snowstorm we were as productive as we were when we could actually come into the office and work from home is a fantastic option for some. What do you like best?

The sales pitch, They show you the software as it will solve all your problems without any hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Almost everything, Everyone says Netsuite is great best ERP ever, I think it has too many moving parts and very very complicate to use/implement or change anything. Even your implementation team figures out problems after 4-5 days.

We are a E-Commerce Operation (Selling on Amazon and Shopify) and no sales channels can be connected to Netsuite without a 3rd Party.

Expect to pay as much as Netsuite to the 3rd parties just for the connectors. After paying the connectors It take an enormous afford to get them setup property. Who ever you ask about your problems they don't know anything and throw the ball to someone else.

It took us 1 year to implement the system and it is really far from operating it at it's promised capabilities.

What they promise might be possible but expect so many configurations, system is so complicated that, once something changes it affects everything and you are all at the beginning again.

Literally 30 hours a week 1 year could not complete the implementation.

If you think that you can cancel it, they do not back up for any reason or compensate you for the time loss. You will have to pay for the subscription during the implementation.

They lock people in the contract and do not let them get out and be proud that you have 50K users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are a E-Commerce operation stay away. After signing the contract, I spoke to 4 businesses that tried NetSuite, they all canceled and the common feedback was, Why use a system to make our job harder not easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The only problem to solve the actual cost of the products and the profits to be made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It’s great for a company to keep everything in one place, with built in or add on features covering almost every aspect of the business. I like being able to make a change in one system and it carry over to accounting and other areas immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

As with anything that is a “Jack of all trades,” it will fall short in some areas. This doesn’t excel for my HR functions (timekeeping, record keeping for multiple hire dates, lots of need to customize and not the most user friendly) and a lot of HR apps haven’t synced with NetSuite since they are relatively new to the HR space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's like excel... it's a super customizable system that can do SO MUCH, but you just have to know what you're doing, and you have to be patient with learning and "peeling back the layers" while you discover what impacts other pieces of the puzzle. From an HR standpoint, I cannot say that I'm in love with NetSuite, but from a synchronicity standpoint, it's a great tool that moves information quickly and keeps everything in one place. We have employees in about 30 states, and while the tax piece is helpful in some aspects, you'll need to learn more about taxes (state and local) if that's not something you're used to dealing with. If you are a smaller company (we have anywhere between 150-250 during the year), this is a decent system. I don't hate it, but again, for HR it is not as stout as some of the other options, but imagine that more systems will be tying into NetSuite as it continues to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Everything can sync quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

There is almost nothing that I like about NetSuite Professional Services Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The turnover was high so we had 3 new teams during our implementation. Go live was pushed back 3 times. They sold us a combination of NetSuite ERP with Advanced Manufacturing and an integration to LogFire (Oracle WMS) that they themselves disclosed after the failed go live that they had never implemented or integrated before. I became a live R&D experiment after the sync bundle and unit of measure conversions continued to fail. To date, they have never apologized and were consistently more worried about checking the implementation off as "done" than making sure the ERP system was fully implemented.

We were complicit in that we did not hold NetSuite accountable to the dates that they promised to have integration done. We were regularly placated with "reasons why" and for various reasons did not see the forest for the trees.

So here we are with a flailing ERP system, angry customers, $1 million + in damages and fines and still I do not have a fully integrated ERP system. Now, I will be paying a consultant to get up to speed to help us implement the balance of the system and fix the issues that NetSuite Professional Services has caused.

I would strongly advise against using NetSuite Professional Services and use a consultant instead. I would also recommend that you ask for employment contracts for key members of your implementation team both internally and with your consultant team. If they are not willing to see this through with you, then they are not for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

0 stars. Would not recommend using NetSuite Professional Services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We like the visibility into our inventory with Oracle WMS. The issue is that due to their sync bundle, we still do not have inventory synced with NetSuite so therefore it's still not accurate. IF they can fix the issues, I think this will be a nice feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I have been using NetSuite since 2005. First, as a CRM then full ERP as my business grew.

NetSuite gives me a complete view of my operations. We are a professional services firm and we use it to manage our projects, enter time, and invoice our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We did develop too many custom features in NetSuite in the past that could have been handled better in niche applications. (i.e. a complex employee evaluation process).

We de-customized our instance over the years and connected other cloud application available in the suite app market place.

Using a flexible cloud application does not mean that everything should be under one app. You have to design your architecture according to your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our nimble processes in NetSuite allows us to invoice our customers twice per month, hence increasing our cash flow. We have integrated NetSuite with numerous platforms over the years, the latest one being HubSpot to increase our response to prospects interacting with our online resources. We also connected our data to the Google AI tools to get more insights on our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Oracle NetSuite is a perfect blend of the modern technology suited for modern businesses and high level functionalities any ERP system must have to be considered as Tier 1 system. It is truly the first SaaS based ERP system and its growth so far shows that leaps ahead of competition in this regard even the Enterprise products like SAP S4 Hana and Oracle Fusion font compare to the SaaS scalability of Oracle NetSUite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only fact that is a littlie annoying is the pricing segregation of solution. It is modular and user divided yet the packages can be enhanced for better value for money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Oracle NetSuite helps us streamline our CRM activities also the accounting and inventory portion is streamlined by oracle NetSuite Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

NetSuite is extremely customizable and allows us to purchase the service we want for our business. It is also wise we do not need to have any programming knowledge to modify, instead of employing an external implementation group or someone in the group to deal with a coding encounter. Also, we could automate several closed tasks, which might be impossible with intent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

If you have never worked with an ERP program before, the learning curve is steep. It will take time to understand the performance of the product. Learning throughout the implementation phase is of crucial importance. It's a pity we didn't know then what we know now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do as much research as possible and tell everyone about other ERP setups and nitrites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have significantly improved our resource utilization at Amazon. We were also able to receive our stock orders from a different system to compete with invoices to buy charges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

NetSuite allows the user to do basically anything accounting related with the platform, reducing manual efforts and increasing efficiency and effectiveness with industry leading automation solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Learning curve can be somewhat high when creating customization, specifically customized reporting and saved searches. However, once comfortable, almost any required reports are able to be created in a timely fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

My biggest recommendation is to set priorities and understand your needs (reporting, processes, automation, etc.) prior to implementation. Also, ensure that you have the time and resources for a system transition in order for the implementation period to go on with the least amount of issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Largest problem solved with NetSuite was transition from Excel and manual reporting and tracking to a more automated environment. Specifically, the biggest benefit has been the automation of deferred revenue with hundreds of subscriptions. This has led to more accurate and timely revenue reporting. What do you like best?

I like NetSuite's ability to obtain information from different parts in one place as a user. This allows me to scan buyer's commands, accounts and NPS customer orders and to shoot my messages automatically. The annual reports strategic planning was extremely useful because we monitor sales in NetSuite. We have also used it for billing and it's not a convenient telephone system, but I can maintain my information in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I've had is to keep track of the cost of shipping, but I just didn't have sufficient time to focus with coach to prove what I needed to deal with these issues, I'm certain that if I called it up by telling people it was a huge problem that they still support me repair it straight away. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

NetSuite is indeed very straightforward for using, we no longer have new hires that are very confused with how the software is used when they are hired! The advantages are everywhere but entire work pace is increased and people focus more on the simplicity of the source code, the frustration of its difficult to use software people but it never appears to be happening to Net Suite! Our first step of implemetation was with another consultant, and they didn t take the view of all the project objetives.

After that, our second consultant help us in the projetct of implemetation and training.

My experience in the use of this platform is based on the use made during the last 3 years, our implementation began in 2018 and the process ended after improvements in 2020.

Our first implementation process was based on the experience with another platform consultant, and in this case this consultant could not take into account the full scope of our project, for this reason at that time the first step was a bit frustrating for us.

By continuing with the implementation process, we had a change of consultant and in this change, we managed to get the new consultant to acquire a total but also specific look at the scope of our needs - especially our type of business and what we asked for that. Present as for future growth - this change was quite profitable for us since the consultant accompanied us in all the steps and guided us regarding the different requirements. As a user, I appreciate so about in NetSuite is the capability to get info from various parts in one spot. This enables me to examine buyer orders, invoices, NPS client orders and also automatically shoot the messages of mine. Netsuite is a cloud based ERP solution and we're searching for more benefits in our creation supply chain management version. Oracle is extremely beneficial in the creation process, though it's much more costly.Oracle monitors the batch/project amount while Netsuite is at PO level. Switching between them is a struggle. Nevertheless, for little and medium enterprises, Netsuite could be the very best answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
