I am in purchasing and it has made me more efficient in all of my tasks. We have a dozen vendors and over 30k SKUs (mostly inactive) but still a lot to manage. Prior to Netstock I used Excel and this was unworkable. Netstock now creates my orders for me and with the correct setup, review is minimal. We use a hub and spoke model and have 6 spoke DCs that we distribute product to so I also use the "Order from distribution center" function to create my transfers. It’s very easy to onboard new users. With our previous system, training took several weeks, and even then it still required months of additional training. With Netstock, we can have new users up and running within a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Netstock? We work with multiple vendors and often need to split orders based on type (i.e., cold chain orders placed separately, or certain product types that must be ordered separately from the main order). However, there’s no way to filter to “exclude” a specific product group/type. Instead, you have to manually select every other option within that group, and you have to repeat this every time you review a vendor. It would be much more efficient to set up order bucket types so that, on the Orders screen, items are automatically listed in the required buckets. Right now the system relies on the buyer remembering to apply the correct filters each time, which adds time to the vendor order review process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Reduction of inventory in a controlled way - our demand planners are able to apply changes that are decided by management and/or finance on working captial that can be applied and executed without impacting fill rate 2. Since start of year we have reduced working capital by 19% across 9 warehouses (2 in NZ and 7 in Australia) and increase fill rate at the same time. 3. I love that Netstock is user-friendly and helps avoid stock outs while organizing inventory to limit excess stock. I appreciate that I can view stock holistically as well as per warehouse or branch, which is great for our multiple branches and warehouses. While being able to view multiple warehouses at once or per warehouse is helpful, I would love to see a side-by-side comparison feature between two or more warehouses. This option can help to let us know how to manage stock between locations. Also, I noticed that when the opportunities feature shows notifications about an opportunity, it is not always accurate. I really like the incredible amount of visibility that Netstock offers. I use all the tools from projections to dashboards, and they're highly visible data, which is really important across different channels and different teams. Netstock saves a lot of time and doesn't require me to be an inventory genius. Making decisions based on the data I see rather than assembling it manually is a huge advantage for the business. I love that Netstock is user-friendly and accurate. The accuracy is reassuring because I can rely on the data it provides, which helps me to spend more time on analysis rather than building reports. I like the flexibility it offers in adjusting forecasts based on changing demands, allowing me to add growth factors and comments. This makes managing forecasts a lot easier and ensures that adjustments are well-documented for others to understand. It's also neat that Netstock flags potential stockouts, giving me a hitlist of items that need attention. This feature supports our goal of maintaining a high fill rate by focusing on ordering the right products from vendors or manufacturing. What do you dislike about Netstock? I would love different reporting options. I know you can build your own reports, but I would love the ability to build my own dashboard for other areas I want to monitor every day. Also, we are a unique company with a buy and resell side and a manufacturing side. The forecast works wonderfully for the manufacturing side, but I struggle with some buy and resale side forecasting too high on low sales quantity items. It comes down to settings, but the settings work for the manufacturing side, so I don't want to change them to accommodate just the resale side. I use policy overrides to help, but it's still not dialed in as cleanly as I would like, so I use Excel for those vendor orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I like the intuitive interface of Netstock and appreciate the deep insights it provides into stock levels, pending purchase orders, and sales forecasts. It helps by highlighting aged purchase orders, allowing us to manage stock levels more accurately by removing them from replenishment plans. I also find it valuable for identifying sales orders that are pending and need to be fulfilled from existing stock, considering aspects like the age of stock. The clever stock profiling feature is impressive. The transition from manual processes to Netstock was a huge uplift, and the setup was easy, as it came pre-integrated into our environment. Any slight performance glitches were quickly resolved by the team. I think the fact that Netstock has so much detail that can be drilled down to all levels helps us plan and make sure that all of our stock is accurate and our service KPIs are reached. I really like the displays and the summary views, they are really good as well. The spreadsheets it generates are very detailed and quite good. The visual displays help us see instantly what we need to order, and depending on the correct information fed into it, Netstock will generate purchase orders and suggest quantities to order based on MOQs, which is fairly standard.
