Netsmart CareConnect™ is an integration engine that connects healthcare organizations to other providers across care settings, including pharmacies and prescription drug registries, public health agencies, local health information exchanges (HIEs) and interoperability frameworks such as Carequality. CareConnect meets federal and state standards for health information exchange and supports consent management workflow to ensure the right data is shared at the right place at the right time.

**What do you like best about Netsmart CareConnect?**

I like the ease of being able to switch between the appointment desk and a patient's chart, without having to click out of everything. 

**What do you dislike about Netsmart CareConnect?**

Sometimes the system lags and is slow. I don't like having to click on something more than once, and have to wait for the system to catch up with itself.

**Recommendations to others considering Netsmart CareConnect:**

Take your time to get to know the program. Once you get it down, it's very helpful and easier than any other check in or scheduling software I've ever used. 

**What problems is Netsmart CareConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the ease of scheduling hundreds of patients, checking patients in with less steps, and reviewing chart information. The benefits are that it streamlines the whole work process.
