Manufacturers and project-driven businesses can plan, visualize, and adjust production orders, projects, and resources against real capacity in an interactive Gantt chart. It is built for small and medium-sized businesses that use Business Central and need more control over scheduling than the standard planning tools provide. Netronic is part of Boyum IT Solutions, a software company founded in Denmark in 1997. Boyum IT builds solutions for businesses running SAP Business One and Business Central and serves more than 15,000 customers in over 130 countries through a network of more than 1,100 certified partners. Boyum IT acquired Netronic in 2024 to add visual scheduling for Business Central to its portfolio. Netronic offers three scheduling editions. Visual Production Scheduler (VPS) gives production planners full manual control. Visual Advanced Production Scheduler (VAPS) adds assisted, semi-automatic finite-capacity scheduling. Visual Jobs Scheduler (VJS) brings jobs, tasks, and resource workload from Business Central's Project and Resources module into the same type of interactive Gantt chart. Key features include: - Interactive Gantt chart that displays production orders, projects, and capacities directly from Business Central - Drag-and-drop rescheduling with an immediate view of the impact on other orders and tasks - Workload overview across work centers, machine centers, and resources so bottlenecks and overloads are visible early - Finite-capacity scheduling in VAPS that takes alternative machine centers, standby resources, and subcontractors into account - Project and resource planning in VJS that shows task dependencies and resource load in one view With a clear view of capacity and workload, planners and project managers can react to changes faster and commit to delivery dates that reflect the actual available capacity. Manufacturers using VPS report more than a 20% increase in on-time deliveries, and VAPS customers report on-time delivery rates of up to 90%. Because the scheduling works on data that already lives in Business Central, teams can improve how they plan without changing ERP systems or keeping a separate planning spreadsheet.
