I thought I liked the efficiency of the lead gen campaigns. However, I found I was merely purchasing lead info instead of getting leads who actually engaged with or downloaded my content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about NetLine Corporation? This company is not what it promotes itself as being. They claim they are a content syndication network, when in fact, they are a data provider who send contact info of target prospects. I set up two campaigns and received leads who "downloaded my content" very quickly. However, when sales followed up, all said they had no recollection of downloading my content. We contacted these leads no more than an hour after Netline sent them to us, as we experimented with a demo request campaign, but mysteriously, all leads could not remember completing the webform for a demo request. It was not just an eBook or whitepaper download; it was a demo request, which is an option they offer on their "syndication network." When I reached out to support, their answer was they hear this from time to time and they suggest "to have sales reps shy away from relying so much on the name of the asset they downloaded." They also recommend cold nurture instead of direct follow-up. Of course, this is because they are only sending us the contact info of those we signify are in our target audience instead of leads who completed a web form. The problem we are solving - which didn't exist beforehand - is apologizing to contacts at our target companies because we unwittingly spammed their inbox and phone lines. We pride ourselves on delivering first-party, fully-permissioned leads of prospects who engage with your content and match your exact target audience. We are not in the business of exploiting user information and sharing data with clients if there is not a registration happening. Given our business model, I can only assume there was miscommunication. That said, this has clearly disrupted your workflow and I would absolutely be upset, too. We do our best to train our client services and sales teams to provide appropriate expectations, answer any questions you may have and find immediate solutions. We’re sorry to hear we fell short. As this is the first time we’ve heard this feedback, it’s crucial we review this in depth. We were able to isolate this situation from our records and are currently pulling the team together to get more insight and see what could have been done differently. First of all, Netline's customer service is excellent. April was extremely helpful during setup, calling me to walk me through what was needed to launch. She made the process painless, which is important when using a self-service tool for the first time. Beyond service, Netline provides a tremendous amount of control over lead generation campaigns, far above what you could get from other DSPs or even LinkedIn Advertising. This, in addition to the lead knowledge you get, allow you to continually self-optimize your campaigns to only get the leads that meet your qualification criteria. What problems is NetLine Corporation solving and how is that benefiting you? We tested Netline to see if we could improve upper-funnel lead generation from paid content promotion. We had been relying heavily on LinkedIn Sponsored Content to generate marketing qualified leads from our content. I ran a small head-to-head test relying on our latest and greatest e-books, and the results of the test were amazing. Netline drove a 60% lower cost per marketing qualified lead compared to LinkedIn. Even better, Netline allows us to only capture work email addresses, a feature we don't get through LinkedIn. Additionally, Netline provides the necessary contact-level and account-level information in our lead reports, so that we can see which leads are coming from each targeting selection (industry, company size, etc.). These insights allow us to continually optimize our targeting as we create new LeadFlow campaigns in the Netline self-service portal. I presented my results to our Director of Marketing and he was sold immediately.
